Chapter 2:Nightmare Island

(Evil New South park, Townhall)

Evil Stan looked out the window of his office at the dark red sky. Their world was dying, it had been sinc Evil Kyle had invented a device that was supposedly able to improve crop growth but all it did was destroy the soil and kill every plant in the ground, not just in North America but Central and South America as well then after a few months it's spread to Europe, Asia, Africa and every other piece of land it could get its hands on. Then to try and fix the situation, some Scientists in Portugal made another device to try and reverse everything but, of course, Evil Kyle got too jealous and killed the scientist before he could finish the device, his friend had always been the jealous type, maybe that was why he and Evil Bebe had had a Nasty divorce. To try and make up for the past mistakes he tried to improve on the Portuguese scientist's invention but unfortunately he had only made things worse, on the day he was supposed to make everything better his device had instead sent the earth further out into space! Evil Stan didn't Evan know how that was possible! And now without the Sun or any usable crops, nearly everyone was dying or dead due to malnutrition. There was nothing they could do to fix their world now all they could do was get to their counterpart's world and try and start over. Hopefully, Elijah would be able to get his counterpart's children to open the gate.

He heard a knock on the door.

"Come in."

Evil Timmy came into the room, walking on his metallic Spider legs. After the food had started to run out, Timmy had gotten so desperate and hungry that he had eaten his legs and feet.

"Any progress?" Evil Stan asked

Instead of saying anything, Evil Timmy just nodded. He hadn't spoken a word since he had eaten his wife and daughter, eating his legs came after he had already finished consuming them. Evil stan figured he decided not to speak out of some small amount of guilt.

"Good, make sure the procedure is handled correctly, and whatever you do don't let Evil Kyle near it."

Evil Tommy nodded again before leaving the room.

(Marsh Residence, 3:46 pm)

Ivy and Cat were both working on their History homework.

"During the Franco-Prussian war, the German forces were led by who?"

Ivy looked at Cat for a moment.

"Cat, I'm drawing blanks, do you know who the General or Captain or whoever was in charge? You're the History buff after all."

"Ludwig Freiherr von und Zu der Tann-Rathsamhausen was in charge and they weren't Germans, they were Bavarian, Germany wasn't a thing yet."

"I'm just gonna put Ludwig and hope Mother Superior Maggie knows who I'm talking about."

The two girls were then silent for a moment before cat spoke up.

"Hey Ivy, is it ok if I ask you something?" Cat asked.

Ivy giggled.

"Cat, we've been friends for a while now, long enough for you not need to ask if you can ask a question."

"This is a rather serious question though."

Now Ivy was beginning to look concerned. Cat usually wasn't this serious.

"Sure Cat, What's up?"

"Ivy..your brother..does he ever talk about me?"

"Sure, why do you ask?"

Cat ignored her friend's question and continued to talk.

"In what way does he talk about me?"

"Like he would a close friend, I guess. Why?"

Ivy now noticed cat looking disappointed.

"N-no reason. Let's get back to our homework."

Before cat could grab her Owl house pen Ivy stopped her.

"Cat...do you have a crush on Stanley?"

Cat blushed then looked away.

"That's Terrific!"

Cat turned around and looked surprised.

"Excuse me?"

Ivy then took her Friend by the hands.

"You two would be so adorable together. I mean you've known him way longer than I have."

Cat smiled to herself.

"Since we were both five years old."

Ivy's smile widened as she heard this. She could hear the lovy-dovey sentiment in her friend's voice but then noticed how Cat's smile turned back to a disappointed frown.

"But he just sees me as a close friend."

"Well, I'm not 100% sure about that, boy emotions are harder to tell besides maybe with a little push and a tiny nudge we can get you two together."

"Ivy, No-"

Cat stopped talking when the door opened and Stanley, Jacob, Alfred, Dani, and Herman walked in and put their backpacks near the front door.

Ivy winked at Cat before getting up and walking towards her brother.

"So what was so important that you had to ditch me and Cat at School?" Ivy asked.

"Cat, what are you talking about?"

Stanley then noticed Cat sitting near the coffee table. He blushed slightly but covered it with the collar of his school uniform.

"Ugh, sorry I missed your cat."

Cat also blushed slightly but hid it better than Stanley.

"It's ok, I came after you and your friends left anyway."

"Ya, that reminds me, what was so important that you ditched us?"

Stanley looked back at his sister but before he could answer Herman did instead.

"We're just meeting up with my cousin. He came from Leipzig and I promised Stanley, Jacob, Dani, and Alfred I would show them all the cool stuff he brought back from Germany. Now if you don't mind, we're gonna go down to the basement."

"Why?" Cat asked.

"I wanted to show the guys a compilation of crocodile attack videos, there's this one guy in Australia who got his whole lower half eaten by a crocodile, and to this day he has to use his arms to walk cause there's nothing below his bellybutton."

"Why would you wanna watch that? That's like something a Psychopath would do."

"Well, then I guess we're psychos then, Bye."

The five boys then went into the basement, as they went in, Stanley and Cat locked eyes for a moment, each one taking in the other in an unspoken longing for one another before Stanley went into the basement.

"What the hell are we gonna do now? We can't leave to go find the island now with Your sister and Cat breathing down our necks, Stanley." Dani said.

"Chil out, everything is gonna be fine. Besides we can't leave just yet, that kid told us to wait for it to get dark out anyway. Just call your parents and tell them you'll be home later tonight."

The other four boys then got out their phones and began texting. Jacob noticed that Herman had a janky-ass smartphone, probably some Soulja Boy phone Jacob thought to himself.

"Ugh Herman, are you sure your Dad is gonna get the text?"

Stanley looked disapprovingly at his best friend.

"What do you mean? My phone works fine." Herman replied.

Jacob ignored what Herman said and just passed him his iPhone.

"Just text your dad on my phone, Herman. I doubt that dinosaur phone of yours can send a text though."

Herman gave Jacob a resentful look before Turing around and texting his dad anyway.

Stanley pulled Jacob aside and brought him behind the water heater.

"Stop bullying Herman, Dude! You're laying it on thick out there."

"Laying what? I'm not doing anything wrong." Jacob replied.

"Jacob, you keep throwing it in Herman's face that your better off than he is. We now know his dad is a racist slip-and-fall man, we know he was adopted only for the government check but you shouldn't keep reminding him of it. He's our friend, he deserves better than that."

"You guys are really bad at Whispering."

The two boys looked over to see Herman standing a few feet away from them.

"Herman, I-"

Herman put up his Hand.

"No, it's Okay, Stanley. At the very least I know how you guys see me now, as the token poor kid."

"That isn't true."

Stanley looked at Jacob.

"Jacob, Tell our friend, Herman that we don't see him that way."

Jacob looked to Herman for a moment but said nothing, only giving Cartman's son a look of apathy. After a moment of silence between the two, Herman turned around and walked up the stairs, he looked down at his supposed friends for a moment.

"I'll find my way to the island, Tonight."

Herman then slammed the door shut! He was about to walk out of the house when he saw angry Ivy Marsh staring at him.

"Don't slam the door, Herman! You know back at the orphanage if any of us slammed the door, the Head Nun would break out her paddle and I'm site you know what she would do with it."

Herman instinctively covered his rear end. He did know what Ivy was talking about, going to a Catholic k-12 school and being the foster son of Eric Cartman pretty much assured that he would receive the Nuns preferred method of punishment a few times in his childhood.

"So what, your gonna get out a paddle now?"

"No, I'm going to give you two options. One is me and Cat kicking your ass for slamming that Door or you can take option two and tell us what you and the other boys are planning for tonight."

"Wait, how do you know that we were planning anything?"

"The walls in this house are paper thin and it doesn't help when you guys talk loud down there. So an option is it gonna be, Herman?"

(Hours later, 8:15 pm)

Stanley waited a few minutes until he was sure that his parents were asleep then tiptoed to the top of the stairs and saw Alfred, Jacob, and Dani waiting at the bottom of the stairs. He carefully step down the stairs and then was about to walk out the front door when he heard a familiar voice.

"Going somewhere, Dear Brother?"

Stanley turned around and saw Ivy coming out of the Darkness.

"Ivy, How long have you been standing there?"

"A lot longer than I'd like to admit. Herman told me about your stupid little treasure hunt."

"It is not stupid. Ivy this kid has real gold and he says hell give up a whole lot more if we help him find this Island." Dani said.

"Ack! Finding the Island isn't the job, we're helping on the island," Alfred said.

"And what are you helping this kid do exactly?" Ivy asked.

The four boys exchanged glances with each other before looking back at Ivy.

"We don't know. He just said it was personal business or something like that." Jacob said.

Ivy pinched the bridge of her nose.

"So for all you know he could be a psycho murderer wanting to make you Dumbasses his first victims. Show me some of this gold he was to pay you all with."

Dani got out a small handful of gold the kid had given him and showed it to Ivy.

Ivy looked at it for a moment then applied the slightest pressure to one and it busted to dust.

"Hey! What did you do to it?"

"Barley anything. This is Pyrite or as you all may know it fool's gold. It's worthless."

Dani looked down at the prices of gold in his hands and did the same thing that Ivy did and it all turned to dust.

"That weird kid lied to us, we were gonna help him and get nothing."

"Ack! What should we do now?" Alfred asked.

"Nothing, Let's go home. If we see that weird kid again at school we'll kick his ass."

"We can't just go home, in case you guys forget Herman is probably on his way to go help this creep and quit possibly gonna get murdered in the process. We gotta try and find him." Stanley said.

"And how are we gonna do that?" Jacob asked.

"I can help with that."

Cat then walked out of the shadows next to Ivy.

"Wait, Cat how long have you been there?" Stanley asked.

"Just as long as Ivy but I wanted to stay in the shadows longer so when I came out it would be more dramatic."

"Cat, how are you gonna help us track Herman?" Alfred asked.

Cat got out her phone and showed them a map of town there were two dots on the screen, one green which wasn't moving, and the other blue which was moving Northwest.

"Herman was my partner in science class, and our assignment was to try and make tracking devices for phones, not to be mean to Herman but I did most of the work and just showed off that we could track each other's phones, he must still have the little chip I put in his phone because it tells me he's moving Northwest, probably ten minutes away from here. If we run now, we might be able to catch up to him."

"Let's go then."

"You guys can go if you want but I'm going home," Jacob said.

"No way Dude, you're coming with us, and you're going to apologize to Herman."

"Why should I?"

"Well have been a real a$$hole to him lately," Alfred said.

"Well, maybe he deserves it!"

Everyone gave Jacob a questioning look.

"How do you figure?" Dani asked

"For years I kept hearing how my dad was bullied and picked on by Herman's dad and if that wasn't bad enough every Christmas party or Thanksgiving or even Fourth of July I had to watch my dad just sit back and take it while Herman's dad just kept on Bullying him and then kept trying to play grab ass with my mom! At least my dad didn't let that go without Knocking Herman's dad have it but I could forgive Herman that since he's only Cartman's foster son but then I began to feel differently after the labor day party a few months ago."

"Ack! What happened?" Alfred asked.

"Cartman called my dad a rotten old...I can't even say it, it was that bad. And after saying this I saw my supposed friend Herman laughing along with his dad so I don't give a crap what happens to him."

Jacob was about to walk out before he looked back at his friends.

"If you guys want to go look for him go ahead I won't snitch but I'm not going to help either."

Jacob then walked out of the Marsh house and walked up the snowy road with only the full moon to light his way.

Dani looked to Stanley.

"What Jac said can't be right. He must misread the moment or something, Herman wouldn't do that."

Dani noticed that Stanley just kept looking in the direction Jacob had walked.

"Evan if he did laugh we can't just leave Herman to be murdered or whatever by this weird kid."

"I'm with Dani, we can't just leave him to be"

"I know, I know, your both right. Let's get Herman..and maybe after this, we'll try and find out why He was laughing at his foster dad's horrible joke."

(Ten minutes later, Deep in the woods)

Herman tried his best to pull his sneaker out of the muck but it was stuck in their good. He had caught up with the weird kid from school a few minutes ago and was now walking threw a muddy swamp.

"Hurry up, Big boy! We don't have much time." Elijah yelled to Herman as they walk closer and closer to the island. If This Were the summer or the very least spring then they would be unable to get to it because of the deep water but because it was winter time and most of the water was either Frozen or hard mud they would be able to walk to it.

Herman managed to pull his leg out of the muck but unfortunately, his sneaker was still stuck in the muck and only sank deeper into it.

"sh!t," Herman said to himself.

As he continued to walk through the cold muck he noticed an old wooden sign sticking out of the mud that read: Indian Burial Ground Pet Store.

Herman was about to look closer at the side but then heard the weird boy calling out to him.

"Hurry up!"

Herman then followed the word boy until finally, they were out of the mud and on land. The dirt felt cold against his bare foot, of course, this is the one day he decided not to wear socks.

"We're here." The weird boy said before letting out an almost animal-like squeal into the darkness. After a second Herman's eyes went wide as he saw three boys walking out of the darkness, together they were holding a large metallic cylinder. As they got closer Herman recognized the three boys as Gabriel Stotch, Bubba Fossy, and Rick Anderson. Each boy had a blank look on their face.

" Gabriel's here too?" Herman asked.

Elijah smiled at the chubby boy.

" yeah but don't worry none, they're not getting rewards like you are."

Elijah then walks closer and closer to the chubby boy getting out a small pen knife.

"Hold still, Big boy."

He then grabbed Herman by the arm and cut a long scratch down His arm then cut his arm.

One drop of blood dropped from each boy's arm and fell to the ground, the land and mud around began to glow a bright purple the cylinder itself began to Glow.

"Herman!"

Herman turned around and saw Stanley, Dani, Alfred, Ivy, and Cat running toward him.

"Perfect, my masters will like having the whole set." The weird boy said. He was about to yell out to his friends to stay away, he didn't know what was happening but he knew it wasn't good he had to say something just please to yell go away but it was too late the light blew brighter now, practically blinding. If any of them could see what was happening they would see the cylinder shifting and changing until it formed into a massive circular portal.

Stanly tried to at from where he was standing and saws a man that looked almost completely like his father but the only difference being a black goatee. The pain even looking that close was nearly unbearable so he closed his eyes again but when he opened them he saw that he and his friends were no longer in the swamp outside of New South Park, they were now in a massive Dirt pit. He looked up and was shocked to see a bright red sky above him. He then felt a hand touch his shoulder and saw it was cat. She had a look on her face that was part worried and part confused.

"Stanley, where are we?"

"I don't know, Cat. I just don't know.
