The second of my Lost Tapes Revamped story is here!
For those familiar with these particular creatures, you know all to well that despite their appearance these things are evil.
But for those that've never heard of them well this a brief example of what it'd be like if you encounter them. Just hope and pray that your lucky enough not to encounter them, because I'll tell you right away, they can put the fear of god into you.
Whatever you do, no matter what, don't let them in or open your door even if they look innocent, there not.
Never do it.
you're very life would depend on what you do.
Chapter 2
Black Eyed Children
Right now, in a normal pleasant suburban cul-de-sac neighborhood, things were so pleasant. There was chanting being heard, echoing loudly through the streets sounding like an angry mob. " Let us in. Let us in. Let us in. Let us in. "
These three words were repeated endlessly, back and forth, back and forth. " Let us in. Let us in. Let us in. "
Inside of a living room we see four teenagers trying their best to ignore the constant and growing chanting. Three boys and one girl, each trying to block out the noise somehow anyway they could.
" Shut up! " A large African American teen cried out on the top of his lungs but it was proving to be useless. " Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! SHUT UP! "
With a yell of anger he started to punch and kick at the walls trying to vent out his frustrations. " Just SHUT UP! "
" Let us in. Let us in. Let us in. "
Outside, security cameras scanned the parameter; despite the loud chanting's, no one was seen around the property. However, as each camera searched, a figure clad in shadow would appear, first in the front yard, then at the side of the house, and even in the backyard.
The scenery shifted to the front porch as a figure stood away from the, only to vanish after the feed flickered with static. All seemed calm at first... when the figure appeared from the side, this time up close to the camera!
There are creatures that science refuses to recognize...

Black Eyed Children
Around the beginning summer of 2014 Cousins Mikey and Dona decided to throw a party at their cul-de-sac home inviting their neighbors Rox Winter and Gary Lexter. They decided to film to make for the good memories, but little did they know, that their night of fun would turn into the scariest night of their lives. These are their tapes...
Many hours Earlier. 11:00 A:M
A camera came on to reveal an Asian American boy next to a redhead. Almost like a reporter, he announced, " And here were are, ladies and gents, to the graduation party to end all graduation parties! I'm your host Gary, coming to you live from the house of Mikey Lake! "
" Hey don't you dare forget about me! " The redhead spoke up pointing at him accusingly in a playful manner. Mikey meanwhile scoffed waving her off. " Hard not to forget about you at all Donna. " In return she slugged him in the shoulder. " Ow! That was ow there! "
" Come on, Donna, don't kill the guy! ", An African American boy, Mikey, joined them laughing at their antics. " My knight in shinning armor has appeared!" Gary said in mock gratitude, only to get nudged by his friends. "Geez tough crowd. Anyway, Donna, where's fearless leader? Party's about to begin." " Said he needed to get some things first. Skatepark's open late tonight and he wants to make sure our next vid's up before we're off to college.
" You know I still find it hard to believe that Rox is going Yale, that's a tough place to get into. " Donna commented with her arms crossed with a look of disproval. " I really wish them bastards would cut us a break. "
" Cut who a break? " Gary asked. " Everyone who can't afford it. " The red head replied getting 'ah' from the two other teens now understanding. " Speaking of which, Mikey? You sure you're folks alright with this? Because I don't wanna get into trouble man. " " Don't worry, I already talked it over with them. We'll be fine. They'll be back by tomorrow morning. "
" Just hoping the teachers there aren't bigoted like out homeroom teacher. " The camera landed on Mikey once again; despite how they looked, Mikey and Donna were cousins on Mikey's father's side. Gary placed a hand on his friands shoulder and moved the camera to have them both in the shot, " Hey, don't worry about it. So what if we're going to different schools, we're going to make this Summer the best we can! " " Room for one more? " The camera moved to the side of the house as another teen approached the three.
" And there's the last wheel for the ride! " Donna exclaimed happily making the teen known as Rox came up chuckling away giving them each a high five to greet them. " What are you doing here man? " Gary asked. " I thought you were at the skatepark? " " I was, I finished early, filmed the vid, everything. I'm set. So? We gonna still the party or what? We won't be here forever you know. " " Yep we still are. " Donna answered. " But you remember that you're helping to pitch in on the pizza right? " " Of course I am. " Rox replied back. " How about you guys? " " Don't even need to ask twice. " Gary chimed in. " As long as we get wings then we'll be good. "
As the friends got read for the preparations, Gary's camera caught footage of someone across the street; seemingly watching them, before walking away.
Nobody knows exactly what Black Eyed Children are and where they originate from.
The first reported sighing was in was from journalist named Brian Bethel in 1996 when two of these things approached his car in a parking lot in the middle of night.
However, before that incident tales of black-eyed children have existed since the 1980s which very well could mean they've been around for a long time, and we haven't noticed just until sightings are taken seriously by ghost hunters, some of whom believe black eyed children to be extraterrestrials, vampires, or ghosts.
6.05 P.M
The next few hours shown of the four having fun, eaten pizza, splashing around in a large swimming pool, and even playing ball. Their families were present as everyone took a group picture. As the sun began to set, everyone slowly began to leave until it was a few left. Gary was shown to be one his phone.
"Yes, mom, I got everything: toothbrush, sleep clothes, a sleeping bag, phone charger. Mom, it's just over the weekend! Besides, it's Summer, I don't start my job till late June."
He and the others were allowed to spend the night at Mikey's house, while his parents were out of town on business. Though the other parents were okay, Gary's parents were slightly hesitant, "Yes, I'll call you if anything happens. Okay, love you and dad back, bye."
" You're mom still babying you? " Donna asked sitting at the edge of the pool water while Rox was swimming about. " A little bit. But that's how she is. "
" Momma's boy! " Rox teased and in return Gary turned to glare picking up a beach ball and threw it hitting his friend who laughed a little bit.
" Ok, dude come on easy. " Mikey spoke up with a mouthful. " There ain't nothing wrong with that. "
" Up till a certain degree. " Donna pointed out. . " I mean my dad can't leave me alone for five minutes without attention and hugging up on me. "
" That's for sure. " Mikey agreed. " Ever since the break-ins that've been happening all over town, my parents practically turned our house into a prison!" The Asian American boy said. " Hey, why do you think my folks installed cameras here?" Mikey pointed to the patio, where a camera scanned the yard. "You think your parents were worry warts? I had to beg my parents for almost a moth before they allowed you guys to sleep over. "
" Come to think of it, these break-ins have been going on for like two weeks now right? " Rox asked exiting out of the pool. " Yeah, I'm surprised the cops haven't them yet. " Donna commented. " They should've by now. "
" Just because the laws on their side doesn't mean they get to solve everything. " Rox commented drying himself off a little. " There's some people who never get caught and get away with it. "
" Did anyone get a look of who was breaking in?" Donna asked, frowning at the sudden rise of break-ins. Rox shook his head, " None that I've heard. Nothing was stolen, but damn." dried himself off and sat next to Gary.
" Come on, guys, let's not worry about it. Summer's here and and we've only so much time before we're off to college, and jobs." He teased Gary. " How's about a little skateboarding? " " Now you're talking my language! " Donna smiled as she got out of the pool.
"All in favor?" Gary asked. "Aye!" All four exclaimed. The all rushed inside, Gary leaving his camera on the table; as they got inside a small figure slowly walked along the fence.
7: 17 P.M.
An hour had passed, and the group had just finished up with their skateboarding the group returned back inside. They took off all their equipment. They were now trying to decide on what to do next.
The camera was focused on them. " So you guys wanna play a board game or something? " Gary asked.
" Board game? " Rox asked raising an eyebrow. " What are you five? "
" We didn't always have video games back then bro. " Gary replied back. " But seriously what do you what do you want to do next? "
" How about a movie? " Donna suggested. Mikey shrugged his shoulders. " Yeah, I could go for one. What would you have in mind? "
" Okay, movie's good, not too far from here. Just remember to keep that thing off, Spielberg. " Rox looked to Gary.
" What, do I look like the spoiler type? " Gary said as they started to pick a movie and vote on what they'd watch.
10: 08 P.M.
" You just had to choose a slasher movie." Rox murmured. "Hey, you were the one that suggested we watch a horror flick. Suck it up! " Donna said while her cousin Mikey snorted in amusement.
" That why you clung to Gary whenever the killer came on screen? "
" Shut up! " The guys all laughed at her response showing that they were enjoying the good time they were having a good time. And then Mikey paused almost as if he was looking at something. His friends and cousin noticed this and stopped what they were doing looking at him. Gary spoke up getting his attention.
" Mike? Mikey? Mikey. "
" Huh? " " What's the matter? "
" I thought saw something. "
" Where? " Rox asked as Mikey pointed to the right and Donna held up the camera looking to a window. " Right here? "
" Yeah. I could've sworn that I saw someone pass right by there. "
" Seriously? " Rox asked not liking the sound of that while Donna got up and walked over to the window. She opened it up enough to peak through looking through to the right and left and saw nobody.
" I don't see anything out here. " She closed the window and walked back to her friends.
"Maybe it's just the movie getting to you." Gary dismissed, not outwardly admitting, but they all were unnerved about the movie they saw. Mikey only sighed, " Yeah probably. "
The four friends merely shrugged it off as they got ready to play video games, Gary placing his camera on the coffee table before turning it off; as they left... the security cameras picked up the sound of voices, though no one appeared to be anywhere.
1: 26 A.M.
Gary's camera flickered on as he looked into the frame; dressed in a black tank top and shorts, he looked as though he saw a ghost, " Okay I got up to go to the bathroom, when I heard a knock at the door. " He recomposes himself a bit to try and speak a bit better.
" I looked out the window and saw a kid. When I did, I...I saw something off about him. I saw his face, and his eyes...someth-something was wrong with him. I know whenever you see a kid your supposed to help, but I feel chills running up my spine. "
1: 20 A.M
SIX MINUTES EARLIER
The security camera in the front scanned the porch, when the feed began to glitch and flicker. Then a small figure appeared and disappeared for a few minutes until it reached the front door and rang the doorbell.
Inside the house we see the group playing a board game all except for Gary who heard the doorbell ring. " Hey guys, someone's at the door. " " Could you go to see who it is? " Mikey requested.
" Alright, fine. " Gary gets up and goes to check while the group continued to play their game and off screen you could hear him talking to someone.
The group continued playing their game as Gary answered the door, when... "Let me in..." SLAM The three jumped when they heard the front door slammed and Gary rushed back into the room and closed the door.
" Dude, you ok? " Mikey asked and grew more concerned upon seeing his expression.
" Maybe it's his parents. " Rox commented with a chuckle. Gary didn't respond he just kept still looking white as a sheep.
Donna spoke up. " Gary? " She didn't get a response. " Gary? Gary are you ok?
Gary still didn't respond rushed up to the bathroom leaving them confused. The doorbell rang again.
Mikey picked up the camera and walked over to the door.
He carefully opened the door making sure the chains on them keeping it locked was on their peeking through the crack to see who it was.
But as soon as he opened the door... no one was there; he looked back and forth but saw no sign of anyone. He went back into the house and saw that Gary came out of the bathroom and sat on the living room couch, Rox and Donna following him.
Mikey joined them as he placed the camera down. " Who was at the door? " Donna asked. " Didn't see anyone. What's up with him? " The tall teen pointed to his friend.
Gary breathed slowly "... His eyes... His eyes..."
" What? " Rox was confused exchanging a look of confusion with Mikey & Donna.
" Eyes? Who's eyes? "
" Gary what did you see? " Mikey asked. " The kid... " Gary mumbled underneath his breath and Donna heard it.
" What kid? " The red head question. " Gary what kid? Who did you see? "
" I...I don't know... "
Again the doorbell rang, which made Rox let out a frustrated groan, " That's it! " He stormed to the front door, grabbing the camera; opening the door which was still on the chain practically shouting. " Okay, whoever you are-" He stopped when he saw that there was a person at the door; a little boy.
"... Uh, hey there. Are you lost? What are you doing out so late? "
" Our car broke down just around the corner. Can we use your phone? " Rox paused for a minute looking around. " Uh... sure you can. But where's your family? "
" There back at the car. I need to use your phone. "
" Well can you at least bring your folks over first so I can talk to them? "
" No, please... let me in... " The boy pleaded. Though he was small, there was something... off about him. A car broke down? If that were the case why would his parents send a small child to some stranger's house in the middle of the night by themselves? Maybe... maybe this kid was involved with the recent break-ins that were happening lately.
" Look I'm sorry, but I want to speak to your parents first. "
" Come on we really need your help. Please." The boy pleaded. " I really need the phone... "
" Kid I'm not trying sound like an ass, but just please bring your parents over here. " "
" I said let me in! " The boy screamed out on the top of his lungs almost sounding like three people at once raising his head revealing he had solid pitch-black eyes making Rox scream falling on his ass using his foot to kick the door shut.
The most distinct feature, such as their pitch black colored eyes and pale white skin, they are often most commonly described as wearing dated clothing or dressing in a manner that is not typical of a normal child of their age and they can appear to be either a boy or a girl, and normally they always reported to come in pairs of two.
One being older, and one being younger. And in very rare cases do they see older black eyed figures. So far there have been no confirmed death's have been documented, but those who do answer to them, might not be lucky if they do.
" Rox! " The teen turned around to see Mikey and the others run up to him, " What happened?! "
" Th-there's a kid out there! " Rox gasped, his heart in his throat. The sound of this upset Donna, " A kid? And you just left him out there?! What's wrong with you?! "
" You don't understand! He wasn't a normal kid! He had-" " Black eyes..." Gary uttered, finally speaking coherently.
" Y-Yeah! There's a kid out there and h-h-his eyes were fucking black like charcoal! " Rox said pointed to Gary. " I swear to god! "
" Are you kiddin me right now Rox? " Donna still didn't sound convinced. " He's just a kid. " She proceeded to grab the door handle only for Gary to stop her.
" Don't... he wasn't the only one..." Gary breathed fearfully. Before anyone could question him further, loud bangs came from the door; startling the teens.
"LET US IN! LET US IN!"
Shocked, the camera began to shake as the four friends stared at the front door; the loud banging was enough to wake the dead! After a few minutes, the banging stopped... no sound came from the other side. The four stood still, their gaze transfixed to the front door. Gathering courage, Donna took the camera, then slowly walked towards the window to the side of the door.
She reached a shaky hand towards the drape but hesitated when it was only inches away. Shivering with fright... she grabbed the drape and opened it, but saw nothing. This caused her to sigh in relief as she turned to her friends and cousin. For a moment the three looked as relieved as her... when their eyes widened. "Good God..." Mikey gasped, frightened. Hesitant at first, Donna whipped around... only to see three children staring back at her and the camera! Not only that, but their eyes... their eyes... Their eyes were completely black! No iris, no solera, no pupils, nothing!
" LET US IN! " The three "children" bellowed
Mikey screamed slamming it shut and put the locks onto before rushing off to all the other doors in the house leaving his friends especially Donna confused. They picked up the camera and followed him. When they did, the group find Mikey quickly and frantically locking all the doors
" Mikey? " Donna tried getting his attention but he kept ignoring his cousin. " Mikey? " He kept ignoring her and rushed over to the next door putting the locks in place. " Mikey! " She finally got his attention getting him to look at her heavily breathing looking as white as Gary did a little while ago.
" The doors! The windows! Make sure they're all locked! " He ran to the bed rooms to make sure no one could get in. "Come on!" Gary said, pulling his two friends with him
" Guys come on aren't you all maybe just overacting!? " Donna asked as she followed them getting into the kitchen where Mikey had just locked the back door. When that was done her cousin leaned up against the counter sighing as he was trying to calm himself down.
" I...I need some water. " Gary went to the fridge bringing out a water bottle, taking off the cap and passed it to his friend. " Thank you. "
" Ok, guys seriously! " Donna spoke up. " What the fuck is going on here!? "
" I DON'T KNOW, ALRIGHT! " Gary shouted at her, before breathing. " All I did was answer the door and some kids were there, at least, they look like kids-whatever they are! We can't let them in! " It was then that more bangs were heard around the house.
It wasn't just at one spot either, there was banging heard coming from all over the entire house itself. Almost like that there were hundreds of people outside trying to get in.
Hearing this was really freaking them out and the fear was rising. They were truly, genuinely scarred. Heck outside from the camera's angle it caught a someone running on by followed by a few others right behind it.
The group saw this, and slowly Donna picked up the camera. Here breathing was heavy and her body was shaking quite a bit. Going up to the window she looked through the glass to see what was outside. But when she did right there in a split second a face popped out of nowhere!
She saw three kids who's eyes were solid pitch black causing her to scream backing up almost nearly dropping the camera in the process.
" LET US IN! " The children demanded. This caused her to scream and run away; soon the four ran back to the living room and huddled in the center on the floor.
2: 55 A.M.
An hour had passed and the chanting was relentless seemingly going on and on in almost what seemed to be eternity. If things weren't bad enough it was almost as if they were getting louder and louder by each passing second.
" Shut up! " Mikey cried out on the top of his lungs but it was proving to be useless. " Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! SHUT UP! "
" Let us in. Let us in. Let us in. "
" Just SHUT UP! "
" Let us in. Let us in. Let us in. " For the last hour or so, the "children" demanded to be let inside, but the four remained huddled together, noticeably exhausted as Gary pointed the camera at Mikey as the African American teen began to suffer a breakdown. The others weren't doing so good either.
Mikey was very strained holding his cousin who was now beyond terrified while Rox was seen holding two pillow's up against his ears trying to block out the chanting. It didn't work at all, as he was in tears.
" Shut UP! " Gary continued to scream trying to make them go away but it was doing very little as they kept chanting.
" Let us in. Let us in. Let us in. " Continuously, and it almost seemed like they were getting louder by each passing second.
But as soon as the Asian American was about to snap... when the chanting finally stopped.
The four looked around, but didn't let their guards down as they got into a group hug; tears falling from their eyes. But as soon as the breathed in relief, they heard another knock at the front door. It wasn't as forceful as the banging they endured, but it still frightened the poor teens as they stood up straight.
" What? " Donna was confused by the sudden dead silence feeling just as confused as her cousin and friends did.
" Th-They stopped? " Rox was perplexed as he took the pillows off his ears. " They stopped...why did they stop? "
" Guys...I'm not liking this... " Gary commented as they heard another knock on the door.
"... I'll see who it is." Mikey said, grabbing a poker from the fire place. "Are you serious? What if it's them?!" Rox hissed, not liking what was going on.
" Just stay behind me..." The large teen replied as he slowly made his way to the front door. while Gary grabbed a baseball bat that was nearby just in case. As he approached, his breath caught in his throat as he reached for the curtains... his hand trembling as his fingers- It was then that an adult's voice called out,
" Hello, is someone home? This is the police! "
Mikey cautiously looked through the viewing hole and in a split second his face lit up like a Christmas tree. He then unlocked the door removing the chain lock and opened the door to reveal two police officers one male and one female. And much to their luck, there eyes not black at all. They were normal like a regular human being.
Relieved, Mikey put down the poker then opened the door as Donna, Gary and Rox joined them. " Son, we received complaints about loud noises form this area and were told it came from this house. "
The male cop stated. Gary spoke up as he approached, " We're so glad you're here. Those noises it wasn't us. " The female cop looked at him with confusion.
" Are you sure? No alcohol or substances? " " No, n
othing like that, we promise." Rox said in a withered voice. "Th-There were these kids! They tried to break into the house! They-" Donna sputtered, when...
CRASH!
A sudden noise came from the house, startling everyone at the porch; it soon became apparent... they forgot about one of the rooms upstairs!
" Is there anyone else with you? " The female officer asked.
" No it's just been us. " Mikey replied back. " It's been hell for us this entire hour! People been trying to get in the house. "
" Do you have any descriptions of what they'd look like? " " Th-They looked like kids. " Gary answered the male officers questioned before they heard another crash from upstairs.
The male officer glanced over to his partner. " You take them back to the car. I'll go check and see what's up there. " She nodded back and motioned the four teens to follow them to the car that was parked in the front. Not wasting anytime, they rushed inside, not caring if they were squeezed in a little bit slamming the door behind them.
The male cop activated his body cam as he slowly walked up the stairs, pistol drawn; as he got to the top step, he turned on his light and looked around. He thoroughly searched each room, but none showed any sign of breaking and entering. It was then that he heard a loud thud in the last room down the hall.
He slowly crept till he was at the door, then kicked it open and aimed his gun. " FREEZE! HANDS IN THE AIR! " He ordered, seeing a small figure make their way out of a window.
" HEY! " He ran to the window.
The figure merely looked back at him and the officer gasped in shock upon seeing the figure was a child. One with black eyes who turned around to face forward and jumped out of the window. Naturally he ran forward to see if the kid was alright but when he looked outside the child was gone as if he'd just vanished from thin air like a ghost.
That same following night, the two officers brought the four terrified teens back to the station for questioning. Each one gave their own testimony recollecting the event that transpired.
The same two officers went back to the house and saw that besides someone opening the same window where the kid jumped through. They also asked the neighbors that were called if they saw anything. It turned out they did, there were numerous figures wearing black hoodies going around the house and seemingly disappearing.
This also seemingly matched previous reports in the area about the supposed break ins. However, after that night the break ins finally stopped. All though the activity ceased, eyewitness reports about Black Eyed Children are still coming in, where people still share their experiences. Can make us stop and wonder, if these supposed creatures are nothing but made up...or, do they live amongst us?
We see multiple black-eyed children looking directly into the lenses of a camera before it goes static.
