Cyberace46-

Man I'd manage to binge read this story and treasured silver in 3 days. Your use of RWBY characters and OC are excellent but there are a couple things I like to say
First I feel like Jaune is having to much of a winning streak going on. i know hes overpowered but hes needs like someone/something to challenge him to his limit in physically, mentally, and morally.
Second is jaune's children I'm surprised theres no jealousy between them and Argent snice he was raised by jaune himself. DMC example like Dante and Vergil conflict
Third is the Argent. He needs to realize soon that jaune isn't invincible and remove the hero worship he has for his dad. Argent may be trained by jaune but hes also a kid.
Lastly is Raven. Seems she got redeemed to late. I know she's the mother of Sparrow (who I think is awesome). Remember she use to raid villages(and who knows what else)in the past that's hard to move on especially if there were survivors that want revenge(maybe you have plans for that) That's brings it up example will jaune side with raven because of there relationship or the survivors to what happened in the past.
All in all I think the story is good. will be expected more great chapters in the future.

*wolf whistle* Now this is what I call a review. Props for binge-reading this in 3 days. I could never do that. I'm a REALLY slow reader. Like, tortoise slow.

Well, remember, Jaune lost his very first fight in this story. Adam literally killed him. It's how this whole adventure started. Also, Jaune technically didn't beat Tyrian in their first encounter. Not alone, anyway. Argent was the one who gave Jaune the winning edge in that fight. There really was a chance he could have lost in that fight, especially since he literally just got his powers.

Then, there's the Elder Ice Dragon. Remember what he said: "A fight I might not be able to win on my own." Jaune knew he probably would have lost against the Elder Ice Dragon, and he was right. He took on an entire army of Grimm and an Elder Grimm large enough to devour all of New Mantle, and even with Nimueh, he would have lost that fight. Remember, it took him and nearly all of New Mantle's newly created Titan Robots to beat that thing, and it nearly killed Jaune.

Also, though it's true that it was confirmed that Jaune was holding back in his fight against Winter, she really did have a chance at beating him. Had her last high kick landed, she would have defeated Jaune in their one-on-one fight.

I'll admit, Jaune has a LOT of wins under his belt, but let's face it, I'm mostly making him fight scrubs so far. But I thought I made it clear that he sees the God of Darkness as a threat. As in if the god somehow made it to Remnant right now, Jaune knows for a fact he would lose. It's why he's going to Ambrosius to make new armor, in order to have a better fighting chance against him.

But don't worry. Jaune's going to have a difficult time in the coming arcs.

I guess that is a bit surprising but look at their lives. You know that old saying: It takes a village to raise a child? That phrase is literal for Sparrow. He was raised by his mother and his tribe, and it was a pretty privileged life. Well, as privileged as the life as the Bandit prince can be. The kid was taught pretty much everything: how to sneak, how to lockpick, how to steal, who to properly strategize, and how to drink some loser under the table. Hell, the kid was loved by his mother! I REPEAT: RAVEN LOVED HER SON! What could he possibly be jealous of?

Same logic for Anita, except her Master Thief of a mother gave her an even more lavish lifestyle since their homes were usually penthouses. Also, you wouldn't believe the praise and affection Neo gave her daughter when she made her first successful robbery against a known corrupt sheriff. Not only did the little cutie get a crap ton of cash from the jerk, but also exposed him and was able to pin all her crimes of theft onto him! Daddy wouldn't approve of that, so Anita is better off with Mommy. Though she does want a relationship with her father, she's smart enough to know that now's not a good time.

Arie's gonna be a bit of a toughie. His dad has a crap ton of awesome titles: the World's Greatest Huntsman, one of the Top Ten Richest Huntsmen in the world, and now the goddamn King of the Grimm. How can he NOT hero-worship his dad? Still, he's going to find out that even his dad has limits as he said. After all, Jaune himself admitted that when it comes to underwater combat, he SUCKS! Really inconvenient considering where they're going.

Yeah, I'm gonna be honest with ya: I'm a bit of a Raven Simp. She's my favorite member of Team SKRW, arguably one of the hottest women in RWBY, and... she's been proven right multiple times. She's the only one who was completely straightforward (her talk with Weiss and Yang), she's one of the most powerful beings in the show (being a Maiden and all), and she was right in her fear of Salem. Look at your fight with her, Yang! You weren't even an inconvenience to her! Raven warned you, but you didn't listen! If Salem wasn't so sadistic (immortality usually makes you play with your food instead of finishing it off immediately), she ABSOLUTELY would have killed you! There's a video by EruptionFang that explains Raven WAY better than I can. Check it out. But, you're entitled to your opinions to her. Not sure what I can do to fix her in a satisfying way, so I'll just keep at it. But, hey, you can't deny that she's an awesome mom to Sparrow. . . Which actually makes it worse for her case with Yang, doesn't it? Dammit.

Guest-

I enjoyed this ARC XD love the motherly raven moment at the end there XD Yang would be pissed as shit if she found that out XD

*sigh* It's true. She would be. "WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME AND DAD BUT BE AN ACTUAL MOM TO HIM?! ARE YOU GOING TO USE THE SALEM EXCUSE AGAIN!? OR IS IT BECAUSE HE'S BASICALLY A MINIATURE YOU?! IS THAT IT?! DO YOU LOVE HIM MORE BECAUSE YOU RAISED HIM TO BE JUST LIKE YOU?! HAH?! HAH?!" Tears well up in Yang's eyes. "Why do you choose NOW to be supermom?"

Aaaaand I think I just gave the Raven Haters ammunition. Fuck.

Well, onto the story.

Jaune was lounging on the deck, sitting in one of the few chairs of the Red Oyster, since there was no work that needed his help. Argent was fishing next to him while Nimueh was sleeping on his chest. The three looked like a real family. It was honestly cute when Argent yanked a tuna out of the sea, Jaune catching it before slamming it onto the deck, knocking it out.

"The boy caught another one," a sailor called as he walked up and took the fish from Jaune.

"Maybe the boy should be a fisherman instead of a Huntsman," another called, making the crew laugh.

Argent just threw his hook back out to sea. "Hey, dad? How long until we reach our destination?"

"Not too long, kiddo."

"Nah long at all, lad," Ahab called, getting everyone's attention. "We've reached the destination."

Argent reeled back his hook, putting the fishing rod down before getting up to look around as Jaune patted Nimueh's back, waking her up. "I don't see anything," Argent said.

"It's an underwater city, Arie," Nimueh yawned.

"So, how are we supposed to reach it, then," he asked.

"With the submarine in the lower deck," Jaune answered as he got up.

"We're going in a submarine," Argent asked excitedly.

"Aye, lad. It's impossible t' reach the underwater city without a submarine unless ye had gills like a Sea Faunus."

"Are you coming with us, Cap'n?"

"No, me lad. 'tis where we part ways."

"Aw."

"Argent, he agreed to take us to the point where Atlantica would be. Diving there is where I come in," Jaune explained.

"You can drive a submarine, dad?"

"I've had to do it plenty of times before," he said with a smile.

"Come," Ahab said as he led the family below deck.

Argent was in awe at the sight of the submarine, it being the first time he had ever seen the underwater vehicle in person. Seeing them in movies and museums doesn't have the same magic as being right in front of a working one. Jaune jumped onto it and opened the hatch. "In ya go," he gestured, Argent excitedly jumping onto the ship and into it, followed by his mom. Jaune then looked back at Ahab. "Thank you for everything, Captain Ahab."

"Reckon naught o' it. 'twas honestly a better voyage than I expected it t' be. If ye needs a ship t' travel anywhere on the open seas, the crew o' the Red Oyster will proudly be thar, waitin'." The crew members behind the captain all cheered in agreement as Jaune smiled before jumping in, and closing the hatch.

When he did, a crewmate turned a wheel, opening a hatch behind the sub, the ship slowly fell and sank into the waters, the Red Oyster saluting as it vanished beneath the clear, blue waters.

Jaune flipped a few switches and pressed some buttons before the headlights of the submarine flashed to life. Argent's eyes widened with a sparkling wonder as he saw the new world before him. He was amazed. So many different kinds of fish, reefs, and coral wherever he looked, and the endless blue before him. It was a breathtaking sight.

"Whoa! Dad, look! Hammerheads," Argent yelled as he pointed at the swimming Grimm.

"It's alright, Arie," Jaune said.

Argent watched as the pack just swam on by. "Huh?"

"Did you forget, sweetie," Nimueh began? "Grimm are afraid of me. Well, certain levels of Grimm, and Hammerheads are definitely at the level where they are too scared to attack. Plus, we have your dad, who might as well be a Leviathan in the eyes of those lesser Grimm."

"Nice comparison," Jaune said sarcastically with a roll of his eyes.

Nimueh kissed his cheek. "You know I meant that as a compliment."

Jaune chuckled as he drove the sub.

Argent looked out the window, in awe of the ocean view. "Hey, dad, is that jellyfish a Grimm?"

"Hm? Oh, what do you know? A Phantom Jellyfish. Yeah, it's a Grimm. A very poisonous one. A Huntsman found that out the tragic way. According to his scroll forensics, his Aura was green, but one touch from that jellyfish not only shattered his Aura but poisoned him fatally. He had boils and blisters where the Grimm touched him, was shivering as if he were in Solitas, had the body temperature to match, and was foaming at the mouth before his heart finally gave out. All that in less than five hours."

Argent shivered. "Scary."

"All kinds of terrors in the deep, Arie," Nimueh said.

"Like that," he asked as he pointed towards a massive Grimm.

"A Whaleshark. That's a more... unique Grimm," Jaune said.

"What do you mean?"

"When I was hunting a Moray, a massive eel Grimm, I came across it. It just swam right past me. Keep in mind this was years before I got my powers. Oddly enough, I even got to touch the thing."

"Which I warned against," Nimueh said.

"But against my better half's better judgment, I did it anyway. It didn't even attack me then. It just kept swimming peacefully. When I informed the Atlantica Hunter's Guild, they sent Huntsmen and researchers to study it. Even with a big group swimming alongside it, it never attacked. Except when a Hammerhead came by. According to a friend of mine, the Whaleshark swallowed the Hammerhead whole and grew bigger on the spot."

"It eats other Grimm," Argent asked.

Jaune shrugged. "Like I said, unique. I heard some Sea Faunus actually hitched a ride on them... for a while. Then, I received a news report about how a group of Sea Faunus was eaten alive by the largest recorded Whaleshark yet, and it was the aggressor. After it was killed and another Whaleshark of similar size appeared and did the same, it was concluded that Whalesharks only attack when they've reached a certain size. About three times that Whaleshark's current size."

"Wouldn't that be able to swallow our submarine whole in one gulp?"

"Yup," his parents went, making Argent gulp.

Then, his eyes widened. "Wow."

Jaune smirked. "I thought you'd react like that."

"It really is beautiful, isn't it," Nimueh asked.

"Is that it, dad?"

"Yup. Argent 'Vale Paladin' Arc-"

("Argent ROSE Arc," Ruby says as she pops up in a comic bubble).

"Welcome to the underwater city of Atlantica, where your Uncle Ambrosius is waiting for us."

Before Argent was a beautiful, intricate, golden city. It looked even bigger than New Mantle, had buildings that looked as tall as most mountains, and looked like it could handle anything.

Argent couldn't wait to enter the amazing-looking city.

"Wait, if it's underwater, how are we supposed to breathe," he asked.

"The inside of the city is dry. Well, most areas are. Weirdly enough, the submerged areas are few and far between, and the citizens prefer it that way, last I checked."

"Just know you won't be drowning," Nimueh assured.

"Neat," Argent went with a smile.

Jaune was adjusting the sonar to find the correct radio frequency. It was getting easier as they got closer to Atlantica, but he was still having a bit of trouble.

'Unknown vessel,' a voice went over the radio.

'There we go,' Jaune thought.

'This is your one and only warning. Turn back.'

"Stand down, soldier. This is International 1st Class Huntsman Jaune Arc, license number 63600-89061-45795 requesting permission to enter Atlantica."

'Wait. Jaune? Old Man Arc?!'

Jaune's eyes widened before he chuckled. "There's only one brat I know who has the balls to call me that. Been a while, Jimbo."

'And you're one of only two jerks older than me who calls me that! It's been too long, you old bastard!'

"Kid, I'm not even forty yet. Anyway, I take it I have permission to enter?"

'Damn right,' the operator chuckled. 'I've already informed the king and my wife.'

"Oh, good. I was hoping for a welcome party," Jaune said sarcastically. "Aw, whatever. Better to see Trident sooner than later. We're boarding," Jaune reported.

'Permission granted.'

"You know that guy, dad?"

"Uh-huh. He was a real brat of a teen a few years ago. Twenty-five years old and it seems like he's barely changed."

"At least he made himself useful by getting rid of those stupid rumors," Nimueh said.

"Rumors?"

"That I'd marry the kingdom's princess. I loved her but as a little sister. A ten-year age gap is too much for me."

"Says the man who slept with Raven Branwen." Jaune felt a boulder land on his head. "And Glynda Goodwitch." A bigger one. "And, oh, right, ME." The biggest boulder fell on his head. "Moral of the story, you're into women MUCH older than you," Nimueh said with a snarky smile. "Oh, in Ruby's case, girls just two years younger than you."

"Alright, I get it," Jaune said as he docked the submarine. "At least I never had a crush on her," Jaune said as he got up.

"But she had a monster crush on you, until Jimmy finally confessed," Nimueh said as she followed her husband, their son right behind her.

"Oh, you were happy for them because you thought they were cute together," Jaune said as he opened the hatch. "You practically cried at their wedding."

"It was a beautiful ceremony," Nimueh said as they jumped out of the ship. "I mean, did you see Marina's dress? It was breathta-"

"UNCLE JAUNE!"

The two looked in time for Jaune to catch a laughing girl, the child hugging his neck.

"I've missed you, Uncle!"

Jaune laughed. "I missed you too, little pearl. Now come on. Let your uncle get a good look at ya." He then held the girl up, making her laugh. She looked about the same age as Argent, had beautiful brown hair that went down past her back, gleaming blue eyes as bright as Jaune's, and looked as pure and beautiful as the nickname Jaune called her implied. "Well, well, the little Melody has gotten even prettier last I saw her," Jaune said as he put her down.

Melody giggled before she hugged Jaune. "And you've gotten even cooler since last you were here."

"Hey now, sweetie." She looked up and smiled at Nimueh, who was smiling back. "You shouldn't flirt with a married man, especially in front of his wife," she winked.

Melody beamed. "You two finally married?!"

"Finally," Jaune asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yeah. Finally." The two looked up to see a lean young man with brown hair like Melody's tied in a Warrior's Wolf Tail, lighter blue eyes, a soul patch beard, and wearing a soldier's uniform. One could tell by just looking that it was of higher rank. He was a handsome man with a scar beneath his right eye, a bit of visible muscle beneath the uniform, and an air of confidence to him. "You have no idea how patiently we were waiting for you two to tie the knot, old man."

"Though, I'm disappointed you didn't invite us to the wedding," a beautiful, red-haired woman walking next to the man said. She had long, blood-red hair that reached down to her waist, an hourglass figure that put her in the same league as Nimueh, eyes as blue as Melody's, and beautifully fair skin like the girls. She wore a more royal garb, had the aura of royalty matching it, and was beautiful enough to be seen as a princess. Her other defining feature was her beautiful voice.

"Well, don't feel too bad. We didn't have a wedding," Jaune said.

"Just some nice rings and paperwork. Married in a snap," Nimueh said as she snapped her fingers.

The woman gasped. "Come now. I think Nimueh deserves a proper wedding," the woman said.

"I would agree with you, Marina, but we're kind of, well, legendary? You really think I have the chance to find a nice dress when married to the World's Greatest Huntsman," Nimueh explained as she gestured to Jaune.

"That just feels like an excuse," Marina giggled. "Hm? Oh. Who's this," she asked when she noticed Argent looking up at her, the beauty bending down to get a better look at him.

Argent was in awe. "Wow. So pretty."

Marina giggled. "Why, thank you."

"Easy there, kiddo," Jaune said as he rubbed Argent's head, getting the kid's attention back. "This is Argent. My son."

The three looked surprised.

"YOU?! Y-YOU'RE SOMEONE'S ACTUAL OLD MAN," Jim yelled.

"Don't sound so surprised, Jimbo," Jaune said with a snarky smile and crossed arms.

"It's just... I didn't know Nimueh could have a child, given that she's the Spirit of Destruction," Marina said.

Nimueh sighed. "It's a bit more complicated than that. I may be his mom... but I'm not his mother, sadly."

"Oh, so he's adopted," Marina asked.

Jaune and Nimueh laughed emotionlessly. "No. He's my/Jaune's biological son," the couple said in unison.

There was an awkward silence.

"Wait, they don't know that Ruby's my mom?"

"RUBY SCHNEE," the other couple yelled in unison.

IT'S SCHNEE-ROSE, Ruby yells in a comic bubble.

"Aw, Jaune. How," Jim asked.

"Like I said, it's complicated."

"Well, yours is a complicated life," a new voice went.

Everyone turned towards it.

"Oh, daddy," Marina went.

"Hi, grandpa."

Jim just stood at attention.

Jaune bowed respectfully. "I am honored to see you once more, King Trident."

Trident laughed. "Come now, old friend. No need for formalities. Be at ease. That goes for you as well, James. You're my son-in-law. No need to act formal, my boy."

Jim sighed in relief as he relaxed.

Trident walked up to Jaune and placed a hand on his shoulder. "It's good to see you again, Jaune."

"Feeling's mutual, Trident."

"WHOA! I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYONE TALLER THAN MY DAD!" Trident looks down at the starry-eyed Argent. "YOU'RE AMAZING!"

Trident chortled. "I like this boy! Come, Arcs. It's time you all experienced good Atlantican hospitality."

As Argent followed the group, not listening to his dad and the king reminiscing, he was looking around the palace in awe at the castle. It was sparkling, polished enough for him to see his own reflection. He also liked that there were water domes with coral reefs in them. He then looked out the window to see the sea life swimming outside of the palace. He was amazed to see how many big fish there were. Some way bigger than the groupers he caught on the Red Oyster.

He then watched as a Sea Faunus speared a fish near the window. When the Faunus went to grab his spear, he noticed Argent, smiled at the boy, and waved. Argent waved back happily. The Faunus then swam away. However, when he did, Argent noticed something in the far-off distance. He tried to Enhance his vision, but whatever he saw left. Though, he thought it looked like something.

"Dad?"

"Hm?"

"Are there any eel Grimm?"

"Yeah. The Moray."

"Are they nearby?"

"Kiddo, those things are as large as King Taijitu. No way we wouldn't have noticed one."

"Oh."

"Something wrong, sweetie," Nimueh asked.

"I just thought I saw something," Argent said as he ran to the group.

Outside of the border of Atlantica.

"He is perceptive," an Eel Faunus said, its right eye glowing in the shadows.

"He is. He is as dangerous as that bastard father of his," another Eel Faunus said, its left eye glowing in the darkness.

"The boy may need to be killed sooner than expected," the two said in unison as they looked at each other before snickering evilly.

"No need to worry, my boy," Trident said. "Atlantican Defenses are state of the art. The most advanced in the world."

"I thought New Mantle had the most advanced defense system," Argent said.

"Well, that was before Atlantica began to truly flourish," Jaune began. "You see, Arie, Atlantica is an extremely young, secret kingdom. Only a handful of people even know it exists. One of the conveniences about the kingdom being secret is that the people had all the time in the world to enhance their home, with no worries about being attacked by bandits or rival kingdoms."

"Rival kingdoms," Argent asked.

"We're a Faunus-based society, sweetheart," Marina began. "Your father may have helped make the world a bit more peaceful, but there is still much prejudice against Faunus. Menagerie is still quite behind in terms of quality of life, even compared to Vacuo, correct?"

"I... never really thought of it," Argent said. "I mean, Menagerie was really crowded, but I guess I never really noticed since I spent most of my time with Great Uncle Ghira and Great Aunt Kali whenever Aunt Blake took me there when she was babysitting me."

"I still never gave her permission to do that," Nimueh grumbled.

"Let it go, babe," Jaune said.

"But wait, what about Mr. Jimbo," Argent said as he looked at the soldier.

"It's Jim, kid. Jim Seahawk."

"I'm one of the only people who can call him Jimbo, kiddo," Jaune said.

"You wish."

"Oh? Well, you can convince me to stop calling you that after you beat me in a fight, kid." Jim rolled his eyes. "Speaking of which, sorry about the ol' shiner I gave you," Jaune said as he tapped his face where Jim's scar would be.

"Ah, don't worry about it," Jim said as he traced his finger over the scar Jaune gave him. "I think it makes me look pretty damn cool."

"I think you look cool, dad," Melody said as she hugged her father's arm. She laughed as he lifted her, placing her on his shoulder.

"And that's all that matters, my little pearl."

"Oh? So you don't care about what your wife thinks," Marina asked with a teasing smile.

"Wha?! Of course I-! I mean-..." Jim sighed. "Why do you love messing with me?"

"Because you're cute when I do."

He sighed before looking back at Argent. "You're curious as to how a human lives here?"

"Mhm. Wouldn't it be hard for you?"

"Actually, it's easier than you'd think, especially when married to a Sea Faunus who... 'helps you breathe.' Makes me wish I never became able to hold my breath for hours at a time," he said as he gave his wife a look, the beauty giving the same kind of look with a raised eyebrow.

"Ahem," Trident went, snapping the two out of their little trance.

"Sorry, daddy/sir," the couple went in unison.

"Hm? Dad, what were they talking about?"

"You'll find out with Lyra one day," Jaune said. "Well, maybe not exactly."

"Hm," Argent went with a raised eyebrow.

"Anyway, Atlantica is as safe as any kingdom can be," Jaune began. "The soldiers guarding the city are unrivaled, especially underwater. I'd get my ass kicked by a higher-ranked one if we fought underwater."

"SERIOUSLY?!"

"What can I say? I suck at underwater combat. On land or in the sky, I'm unbeatable, but the sea? Trident here could probably beat me with one fist."

The older king chortled at that. "A fine compliment, old friend! It gives me great joy to know you hold me in such high regard. But you mustn't forget about our defense systems. A Moray Grimm would never reach our borders without being blasted into dust by our cannons."

"Didn't that thing take out a Mobius," Jaune asked?

"Don't be silly, old friend. It took out a pod of them."

Jaune stopped in his tracks before he started walking again when Nimueh began to push him. "Coulda used that against the White Mobius," Jaune muttered.

"Well, we've walked and talked enough, haven't we," Trident asked as he stood before two large, golden doors. "It's time the honored Arcs enjoyed the hospitality of my kingdom, as promised," he said as he pushed the doors open.

Before they were a sight of frantic servants setting up an already exquisitely filled dining table.

"COME ON! CHOP, CHOP!" The group looked towards the voice to see a Crab Faunus, his distinction being the pincers he had instead of hands. "The King is going to arrive any second with the venerable Vale Knight, and I will NOT allow anything less than perfect for the arrival of not only the King but the World's Greatest Huntsman!"

"I can understand making it extravagant for the King, but you don't need to go above and beyond for me, you know."

"That's where you're wrong, Sir Arc! It has been YEARS since you last came to our kingdom, so I want you to see how grand the kingdom you helped build flo-" The butler then straightened up. He then looked to see the group.

"Hey, Sebas," Jaune said with a wave.

Sebas just stared at the hero before his jaw smashed onto the floor. He then fell back and slammed onto his back.

"Well, he hasn't changed a bit," Jaune said with a smile and his arms crossed.

Argent snickered. "He's funny."

Argent blinked before rubbing his eyes. When he opened his wide eyes, he couldn't believe what he was seeing. "Dad, is it the Day of Gratitude?"

"No."

"Do all rich people eat like this?"

"We don't."

"Oh, yeah. We're rich." Argent laughed nervously while rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment." A bowl of water was placed in front of him, the boy knowing exactly what to do thanks to Winter. "I guess I should ask if all royals and nobles do this."

"On occasion," Jaune answered as he and everyone else at the table cleaned their hands.

"And this is one of those occasions? Because..." Argent looked in front of him. "That is a lot of food."

A feast was set in front of the Arcs and the Atlantican Royal Family, with a few Atlantican nobles and high-ranking soldiers joining to honor both the king and the legendary Vale Knight. At the center of the table was the largest grouper Argent had ever seen, easily twice the size of the one he caught, and that one crushed him when he caught it. Next to it was a lobster the size of a turkey, and on the other side was... eel.

There was a lot of salad on the table, but also fruit.

"It comes from the surface." Argent looked at the smiling Melody. "My grandfather has some allies that trade with us for stuff like Dust Crystals, which the sea has a lot of. We also get more than just fruit from the surface."

As soon as she said that a roasted hog was placed on the table. Steaming soup was also placed on the table, as well as different sauces, stuffing, and steamed vegetables.

"May you enjoy your dinner," Sebas said as he and the rest of the staff bowed. Then, other servants stepped forward and filled the plates of everyone with whatever they desired.

"What would you like, young sir," a pretty maid asked Argent.

He looked down with a blush. 'Why is everyone in this castle so pretty,' he asked before shaking his head. "I'd like to try that salad first," he said.

"My, you raised your son quite well, Jaune," Marina said. "It took me a while to get these two to eat their vegetables first," she said as she glanced at her husband and daughter.

Jim choked a bit on his drink while Melody turned pink. "MOM!" Marina giggled.

Jaune chuckled. "Sadly, I can't take full credit." He then looked down at his own salad. "That honor goes to a certain Snow Goddess," he said softly. Winter sneezed at her desk. "Oh, careful, Argent, seaweed salad is pretty salty," Jaune said as he took a bite.

"Really?" Argent looked down and took the correct fork for salad, which earned a light clap from Sebas. 'How can he even clap with those claws,' the boy thought.

He then took a bite of the salad, his eyes popping open. "It really is salty," he said with a sour face. "May I please have something to drink?"

"Ah, as polite as a prince," Sebas said before motioning, a servant walking in with a tray, a wine glass atop it.

"That had better be juice," Nimueh said before soundlessly sipping her soup from her spoon.

"Don't worry, Lady Nimueh," Sebas began. "It is nothing more than a mixture of starfruit and coconut with a dash of mango."

"Alright," Nimueh said before calling a servant for some of the grouper.

Argent held the glass, pinkie sticking out due to habit, and took a small and elegant sip. He didn't even smack his lips after tasting it. "Wow. This is good."

"I am glad you are pleased, young prince," Sebas said with a bow, not seeing how Jaune jolted.

"But I'm not a prince."

Sebas looked surprised before he realized it. "That's right. The Vale Knight is not royalty, but nobility."

"I'm not that either."

"But you raised your son so well."

"I didn't teach him that. You can blame the Schnees for that," Jaune said as he took a sip of his own drink, which was a cocktail wine with dragon fruit. "Mostly my sexy ex," he muttered.

Meanwhile in New Mantle, with Winter walking down the hall she stopped to shiver, blushing in embarrassment before looking annoyed. "Jaune. What are you saying about me?"

'And maybe from her equally sexy mother,' he thought.

Willow felt an odd sense of euphoria at that moment.

'You do realize I can hear your thoughts, babe,' Nimueh telepathically asked.

Jaune jolted. 'I'm in trouble.'

'Especially when we get to our room,' she thought with a devious smile as she continued to eat.

"Oh, wait. Dad, aren't we technically royalty, since you're the Grimm King now and all?"

Jaune choked on his drink before coughing violently while Nimueh sighed as she rubbed her forehead.

"Excuse me, but what did you say, my boy," Trident asked.

Argent realized he screwed up. "Um... oops?"

A/N: So, can you guess who these OCs are based on? I know it's bonehead easy, but still.

Fun fact, two twin girls I'm really close to helped improve the Atlantica Arc bit by bit. Even added their own little moments here and there. Turns out that Marina is based on their favorite character, so they HAD to help me with it. What's more, I made their favorite couple canon. Hope you enjoy this arc as much as they did.

Until next time!
