Weeks pass. Ahsoka healed

She was excused from school for three weeks so she could take the time to heal from her physical injuries, and her mental ones.

Ahsoka stayed with Anakin and Padmd and Obi-wan. She loved it there. They would always take care of her. Every night she woke up, they were there right by her side hugging her. They drove her to every therapist appointment - that they'd set up in the first place - and she felt loved.

Of course she knew that it wouldn't last. Anakin and Padme had their own lives to get back to. Ahsoka enjoyed her time but kept herself back from actually feeling joy because it was going to change soon anyway. She didn't need more pain in her life.

But she couldn't help loving the way they'd laugh while eating or playing a board game, or the way they'd cuddle up on the couch with tea that Padme would make and watch a movie. She loved them. And was scared to loose them.

At the end of the third week of her "break", Anakin and Padmé told her that they were inviting their family - well Padme was, Anakins parents were dead - and friends and they'd like her to eat with them. Ahsoka agreed and started freaking out an hour before. She still had visible marks from the beating, she was underweight and she overall felt like a burden.

While she was getting ready, Padme came in. She sat down on Ahsokas bed and smiled at her.

"You are an amazing Person, you know that right? My family will love you and we love you. You are not a burden or anything. You are a gift."

Ahsoka just stared at her for a while. Padme stared right back. They kept the starting up for a minute and Ahsoka broke the silence.

"How did you know I was feeling that?"

Padmé laughed, got up and hugged Ahsoka.

"Mothers instinct."

With that she left the room, leaving a very confused Ahsoka. Mothers instinct? Did she see her as a daughter? It was too good to be real, so Ahsoka ignored the thought. She needed to stay detached from them. She couldn't hurt herself that way when she had to leave them.

After a while, Padmes parents, sister and best friend - her name was Satine - came. They sat down together and Ahsoka sat next to Padmes mother. They started eating and Ahsoka was enjoying the food and time. Everyone was so kind. No one even asked about her bruises and took her in as if she'd always been there.

It was completely new to Ahsoka. She couldn't remember the last time she sat with a group of people to eat and wasn't completely afraid and alone. Ahsoka could actually believe that these people wouldn't hurt her.

As the dinner came to an end, Anakin suddenly stood up. "We have an announcement to make." He smiled at Padmé and she smiled back.

"So, a few days ago, I asked Padme Amidala to marry me - and she said yes." Everyone in the room cheered. Padmes mother got up and went to hug her daughter and then also Anakin. Obi-wan just looked like he always knew, which maybe he did. Ahsoka smiled and laughed with them, but also was kind of sad. She would never be apart of their family like that. They're going to have real children and then she'd be at some orphanage or something.

But when everyone calmed back down Anakin kept going. "We are very excited about our wedding, but it isn't our only announcement." Everyone went quiet.

"As most of you know, Ahsoka Tano doesn't have parents anymore." He paused and looked sadly at her, then continued: "But Padme and I love you so much, and see you as our daughter. We spoke to Social Services after everything," again he paused, was he nervous? Because she was. Padme looked at Anakin and continued for him: "-and we decided we would like to adopt you. Ahsoka Tano, will you allow us to be your parents?"

Ahsoka sat there in shock for about five seconds. All eyes were on her. Her brain was so full of thoughts but she already knew her answer. "Oh my god, yes!" She started laughing and crying and ran to hug them. She felt Anakins arms around her, holding her tightly and Padmes arms around her stroking her hair and back. She could hear everyone else in the room laughing and cheering and being happy. Ahsoka cried. She could have this? Forever?

"You're okay now Ahsoka. No one will ever hurt you that bad again. You can relax now. We will never, ever hurt you like that. I love you."

Padme just nodded and smiled. "We love you so much. And I'm so sorry about what happened."

Ahsoka laughed and hugged then even tighter before letting go. She wiped her tears and looked at everyone in the room. They were smiling at her. Everyone was smiling.

Ahsoka looked at Padmes mother. "So I guess you're going to be my grandmother now." Everyone laughed and Ahsoka noticed tears in her eyes.

"It would be the biggest honour."

Three months pass.

Anakin decided he didn't want to send her back to the same school - he did meet her because she was being beat up - and they found a new one. They also offered Rex and his family to go there. Padme had contacts so they all got in.

Fives and Echo were so excited and Rex was so thankful. And happy. He'd never seen Ahsoka so happy so he was relieved it was finally over. He'd never have to treat her wounds again and be afraid for her at night.

He was invited to the wedding, well his entire family was as Obi-wan wanted Cody to come and Anakin wanted to Jango to come (to meet who took care of Ahsoka more than her own father) and Ahsoka wanted the twins to come and Rex to come so they just invited them all.

As the day arrived, Ahsoka already had a dress (that Padme and her mother helped pick out for her) and was getting ready. Her dress was white with some blue at the edges. It was beautiful. Padme wanted that she and Ahsoka were the only ones wearing white so she bought this dress. He hair was done by a professional and she had a beautiful braid that went down her back with white flowers braided into it. For the first time in forever, she felt beautiful.

Ahsoka decided she liked firsts, because good or bad they are always memorable.

After she was done - she also had some make up on - she went to see Padme. Padme looked stunning. Her dress was beautiful and fit her perfectly. Her mother had tears in her eyes as she looked at her daughter and then they both faced Ahsoka.

"Oh Ahsoka, you look amazing!" Padme laughed and went to hug her. They embraced tight and were laughing.

Everything was ready for their wedding-adoption.

Padme also wanted Ahsoka to walk down the isle with her so that's what they did.

The music started and they came out and walked down the isle. Everyone stood up and was smiling at them. She saw Rex in the crowd and his smile could be only described as friggin genuine! Ahsoka realised Barriss wasn't here, but she was okay with that.

Then she noticed Anakin smiling at them and he had tears in his eyes. He looked at Padme and then at Ahsoka and their eyes met. His were filled with absolute love and she hoped hers were doing the same.

They finally reached the front and Padme stood across from Anakin, while Ahsoka stood back a little. Marriage first, adoption second.

The priest began to talk about love and then it was time for the vows. Anakin began.

"Padmé Amidala, I love you. And I could say that I will stay with you forever and I'll love you forever, but those are words from men who usually don't mean it. I know it. I will stay and love you through everything. Nothing comes between us and I am yours."

Padme smiled and cried a little and then it was her turn.

"Anakin Skywalker, I love you. I love you through all your flaws and mistakes but also with all your love and kindness. You are the only one I would want to spend my life with and I can't wait to do so. I am yours and always will be."

The priest started talking again and they looked at each other, completely in love.

"Anakin Skywalker, do you take this woman to be your wife, to live together, to love her, to honor her, to comfort her, and to keep her in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?"

Anakin smiled. "I do."

The priest then looked at Padme.

"Padme Amidala, do you take this man to be your husband, to live together, to love him, to honor him, to comfort him, and to keep him in sickness and in health, forsaking all others, for as long as you both shall live?"

Padme smiled. "I do."

The priest smiled. "Repeat after me: "I, take you, to be my husband/wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part."

Padme and Anakin said it after one another. Then Ahsoka went up and gave them their rings. Anakin smiled at her as if she was the best thing in his life next to Padme.

Anakin took a ring and put in on Padmes finger and Padme did the same to him. Then they joined hands and the priest announced:

"By virtue of the authority vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife." He looked at Anakin. "You may kiss the bride."

Everyone cheered as Anakin and Padmd kissed.

Then it was her turn. Ahsoka walked towards them and stood in between them. Then the priest began with the adoptions. It was mostly just signing it with a little bit of fancy words and stuff, but Ahsoka loved it because she felt loved.

Then, after everything was signed and takes care of the priest looked at them.

"Padme and Anakin Skywalker, do you take Ahsoka Tano to be your daughter, to live together until she wants to move out, to love her through every mistake as she grows older, to comfort her through the upcoming nightmares and ex-boyfriends, and to keep her in sickness and in health, even if it was her own fault, for as long as you both shall live?"

Anakin and Padme smiled and said: "We do."

Then he turned to Ahsoka.

"Ahsoka Tano, do you take these two to be your parents, to live together for as long as you can take them, to love them even if they get on your nerves or are overprotective and to honor them even if you don't agree with them, for as long as you shall live?"

Ahsoka smiled and looked and Padme and Anakin. "I do."

"Then I happily pronounce you child and parents. You may hug your child."

Everyone cheered for them and Ahsoka wrapped her arms tight around her new parents. From somewhere she could feel her mother smiling. She was finally home. It wouldn't be straight up from here but it would be going up.

Chapter 11: Epiloge

Years pass and Ahsoka is on her graduation day.

She couldn't believe it. She actually made it to her graduation and was also the best in her year. After the teachers found out what happened, they all apologised to her and she could start actually getting her credit.

Anakin and Padme supported her and helped her through it all too.

Rex already graduated but he would be coming to hers, obviously.

Ahsoka wore her gown and it was time. It felt like a dream: to walk on the stage, everyone cheering and finally graduating. After her entire life had been so challenging.

She had been abused but in the end found a family and friends who supported her and she was finally starting to be okay. The nightmares got less the more she had therapy and she had the best parents ever.

Ahsoka didn't know when her life turned out to be so great.

It could be the day her father was arrested or the day she was released out of the hospital.

But, if she thought about it, she knew it was the day she met Anakin Skywalker - her father, brother, best friend and protector.
