"Hello Blood Moon," Acid greats as he walks into Blood Moon's classroom. Moon sits at her desk with papers in her hoofs. She looks over with a small smile as she sets down the paper.
"How's it going, Acid?" Moon responds back as she turns to face him as he walks up to her desk.
"How has the adjustable desk been?"
"It's been great," Moon says, looking down at the desk. Acid's eyes following here's to the nicely crafted wooden desk. The desk is a mess with papers and folders thrown about haphazardly.
"I noticed the guards took my suggestion for the new armor?" Acid asks more than states as the two look back at each other.
"Ya, it wasn't that hard to explain to Dark Sword that the bat guards needed their own armor," Moon confirms. "Nice suggestion by the way,"
"It was nothing," Acid blushes a bit before looking away and rubbing that back of his head. "It just seemed silly to keep the two groups separate if you won't distinguish between the two,"
"Then I said hi hungry, I'm full," A bat pony says to another as they walk into the classroom. Completely ignoring the two and heading to their seats.
"Class is about to start," Moon says to Acid. "I suggest you should leave,"
"Ya, I should," Acid says, backing away. "See you later?"
"Wouldn't miss it," Moon replies before Acid turns around and walks out of the classroom.
He walks down the hallway with a smile on his face as the moon rises over the horizon and reflects its beautiful blue light into the castle. The moon no longer had the face of the mare on the moon. Acid hums to himself as he turns a corner before stopping dead in his tracks. His eyes go wide as he thinks.
"Changeling!" Standing in front of him just a few feet away is a very small and young changeling. His blue shimmering eyes looking franticly into Acid's. The changeling's face reflects the fear inside of him. His hole filled legs start shaking violently. It's body was scaly like a dragon. The most interesting thing Acid sees is a gray fire looking marking in the little changelings chest.
It regains control of its body and runs down the hallway. Acid snaps out of it and runs after it and yells out, "Wait! I don't want to hurt you!" The changeling turns the corner a few seconds before Acid does the same. He stops and looks around, but the changeling was long gone.
"What the hay?" Acid thinks as he walks back the way he came.

The early morning sunlight streams into Acid's lab. Acid sitting at one of his work benches with three different blueprints. A pile of metal on one, a bent and barely recognisable set of wings, and another new set of wings that have rusted. Acid takes a sip of coffee, the bags under his eyes deep and dark.
He places down the cup of coffee calmly before letting his neck relaxe, causing his head to bang against the table as the sunlight reaches him. He grits his teeth as tears stream down his eyes. In anger and frustration, he sweeps the blue prints and the wings with them off the table and to the ground.
He takes a few deep breaths as he looks at the pile he created on the ground next to the table. A few tears running down his cheeks. He turns and hits the table with his hoof in anger.
"Fletcher Under Cracked Kranes!" Acid yells in pain as he holds his hoof against his chest while rubbing it with the other. He looks at where he hit the table. A dent was present where his hoof had struck the table. Acid lets out very staggered breaths as the tears slow down but never stop.
"What is wrong with me?" Acid asked himself out loud. "Why can't I design a simple improvement to these stuped wing!" Acid yells in anger as he raises up his other hoof to hit the table, but stops before lowering it gently back down.
"If I can't even do this, how can I even call myself an engineer?" Acid asks. The door slowly opens up as Blood Moon's head pokes in. She looks around before seeing Acid and her neutral face turns to worry in a heartbeat. Her heart aching at the very sight of Acid. Tears still run down his face as he looks over at the Moon.
Without a word, not a single syllable, Moon walked over to Acid slowly. Acid watching her the enter time before she sits down next to him. She gently wraps her arms around his body as he leans into her furry chest. Acid lets out a staggered sigh as the tears flud out again. Moon places her head on top of his, taking note not to poke her eye out on his horn, as she gently rubs the back of his head.
Acid sniffles as the tears stop flowing out of his eyes. His breathing returns back to normal as his eyelids lower slowly down. Acid struggling not to fall asleep in her hoofs. "Thanks," Acid says before yawning a bit.
"No problem, what seems to be the problem?"
"I think a combination of over working, not getting enough sleep, and not asking you out yet has gotten me stressed," Acid says.
"I've told you to go back to day shift, you're not a b…" Blood Moon stops mid sentence as it dawns on her. Her heart skips a bit as she surprises a blush from rushing onto her face. She looks down to see Acid lezley smiling up at her.
"Would you like to go out on a simple date to the bowling alley?" Acid asks, tilting his head to the side. Moon's mouth opens up to speak, but nothing comes out. The sheer shock of how smooth Acid slipped it in both caused her heart to flutter with love, and panice her to no end.
"The one down the street?" Acid knobs yes to the question. "And you'll go home after a round or two and get some well needed sleep?"
"If you walk me home," Acid says with a big smile on his face.
"We'll see about that mister Romeo," Moon replies back before Acid stands up. She stands up and the two walk out of the room in happy silence.

"Yes!" Acid says, pumping his hoof into the air as his bowling ball hits the seven pin which causes it to rocket over to the ten pin and knock it over.
"I have to admit, I have never seen anyone pull off a seven ten split before," Moon says before taking a sip from her pop.
"I'm not just anyone," Acid says, turning around to face Moon at the table. "I am Acid Chai Flask, son of Glass Flask and student to Princess Celestia," Acid brags as he walks over and sits down next to Moon.
"Calm down Ferris, you might blow a blood vessel if you act any cooler," Moon replies as she stands up.
"I am literally the opposite of cool," Acid says as she walks over to the bowling ball return rack. "I bet you don't even know who Glass Flask is," Acid looks over at Moon just in time to see her bend over to grab her white bowling ball. Acid's face turns bright red as he quickly averts his eye away from her and takes a sip from his soda.
"She's a chemist for one of canterlots finest medical researches and you're mother is all I know," Moon says, stepping into position on the bowling lane.
"How did you know she was my mom?" Acid asks, looking over at the Moon with a questioning look. Moon looks back with that look one gives when it should be obvious what they asked was dum.
"Really?" Moon asks.
"Y..a?" Acid asks coseley.
"So Flask is just a common last name then?" Moon asks before running down the lane and throwing her bowling ball down the lane. Her ball lands with a soft thud before rolling into the pins. Leaving up only the five pin.
"Oh," Acid says, sippin on his pop as he realize his stupidity.
"That's what I thought," Moon says, walking back over to the table to take a quick sip from her soda. "Besides, you just told me," Moon chuckles as the bowling ball pops out into the bowling ball return rack.
"Oh ya, I forgot about that," Acid replies as Moon places down her drink before turning around and making her way to her bowling ball. "I really am tired," Acid says as he leans his elbo agains the table and rests his head on his hoof. Acid watches her as she grabs her ball and lines up on the lane. Acid takes a sip of his drink as his cheeks turn a bit red again.
Moon runs down the lane before throwing the ball. The ball drifts to the right before curving into the five pin, sending the pin flying. Moon smiles as she turns around and walks back to her seat.
"Nice curve," Acid says as he stands up and makes his way to the bowling ball rack.
"There's more curves where that came from," Moon says with a cheeky smile. Her face turns a bit red as she sips her soda. Acid picks up the ball as his face turns a bit red. He walks over to the lane as he clears his mind. He raises the bowling ball to his face as he looks down the lane at the pins. He takes a few steps that turn into a little run as he swings his arm with the bowling ball. He kicks his back leg out of the way as he swings the ball forword. The ball lands with a thuds as it rolls a bit to the right before striking the one and three pins first before knocking down the rest.
"Yes!" Acid yells with a wide smile. "Strike!" he yells, pumping his hoof into the air before turning around. "Did you see that!?"
"Took you long enough," Moon says with a cheeky smile as she gets up.
"You're just jealous I got the first strike," Acid says as he sits down at his seat. Moon walks over to her bowling ball as she rolls her eyes. She looks down at her bowling ball before turning to look at Acid.
"Acid,"
"Ya?" Acid turns to look at the Moon.
"Could you bring me my polishing rag?"
"I could," Acid replies with a smug smile. Moon rolls her eyes as Acid grabs the rag from her bowling bag. He walks over and hands her the rag. She grabs his hoof with hers and pulls him in close.
"Wha-!" Acid is cut off when Moon presses her lips against his. Acid looks stund for a second before relaxing and closing his eyes. She sighs before moving her hoof and placing it gently on the back of his head. Acid tries his best at kissing, but ends up just a bit sloppy. The two pull away, both with slightly stunned looks.
"You're terrible at kissing," Moon says with a chuckle.
"You're not much better," Acid replies back. The two laughing at their remarks. Acid placed his head against her chest while she hugged him.
