House of Rings:

The wedding was still going on and everyone was confused by what Isaac just said, but was just feeling in his pockets.

"The rings," said Isaac.

What?" Asked Victor.

"Where are the rings?" Asked Isaac.

Delphi bleated and Isaac looked at her and knew she had eaten the rings. Everyone started laughing.

"Oh Delphi," said Isaac.

"How about we pick up where we left off?" Suggested Victor.

"Yes," said Isaac.

Isaac do you take Trudy to be your lawful wedded wife and promise to remain faithful to her in good times and in bad times until death do you part, what is your answer?" Asked Victor.

"Yes, absolutely," said Isaac

"Then I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride," said Victor.

Isaac and Trudy gave each other a loving kiss, everyone stood up and started cheering and clapping for the bride and groom. Isaac placed a kiss on Trudy's hand and she became emotional and wiped away a tear.

"What is Trudy?" Asked Isaac.

"Nothing, I just had to think of Fabian, I'm feeling a bit sad he's not here," said Trudy.

Isaac put his arm around Trudy. Nina stared ahead and was no longer really focused on the wedding.

"Hey silly what are you thinking about?" Asked Amber.

"Fabian," said Nina.

Amber put her hand on Nina's shoulder. Ms. Delany stood up and walked forward to the newlyweds

"I've another thing for the bride and groom, an abc," said Ms. Delaney,

"Oh no," complained Jerome.

"Why?" Asked Otis.

No one was really happy about Ms. Delaney's surprise. A few minutes later and Ms. Delaney was still busy reading her abc while almost all the wedding guests were yawning and struggling not to fall asleep, because it felt like the abc wasn't going to end anytime soon.

"The V is for Victor, who is sweet enough to marry you. The W is for Wedding, which is why we are here today. We skip the X and Y because they are too difficult and the Z is for Zechariah, who came all the way from Kenya to be here today, That's it thank you guys," said Ms. Delaney.

Everyone clapped softly for Ms. Delaney and she sat back down. Isaac stood up.

"Then it is now time for the party," said Isaac.

"Cake!" Cheered Alfie.

And now the party was about to begin. Many were dancing, chatting and laughing. Nina stood against the hedge watching the party, Mr. Sweet came walking up with a piece of cake.

"Here," said Mr. Sweet.

"I'm not that hungry," said Nina.

"It was a beautiful wedding," said Mr. Sweet.

"Yes," said Nina.

"Too bad Fabian didn't get to see it," said Mr. Sweet.

Nina looked at Mr. Sweet after he mentioned Fabian.

"You were thinking about him?" Asked Mr. Sweet.

"Yes," said Nina.

"You must have a very hard time without him," said Mr. Sweet.

"Yes," said Nina.

"Post tenebras lux," said Mr. Sweet.

"What does that mean?" Asked Nina.

"After darkness comes light," said Mr. Sweet.

Mr. Sweet gave Nina the plate with the cake.

"Here have a some cake, they have to go anyway," said Mr. Sweet.

"Thank you," said Nina.

Mr. Sweet nodded and walked away. Nina looked at the cake and began to eat it.

In the meantime in the villa. Caroline entered the room where was Fabian with some food for him.

"What is your plan?" Asked Fabian.

"You ask that every day now, but we won't tell you," said Caroline.

"Why are you after KT? What do you want with her?" Asked Fabian.

"The only thing you'll find out is that she'll be gone soon," said Caroline.

"You can't just kill her for no reason," said Fabian.

"We have a reason why she has to die," said Caroline.

"Why?" Asked Fabian.

Caroline said nothing and left the room. Fabian was frustrated that there was no way to find out why Caroline wanted KT dead.

Back at the house, the wedding party was still in full swing. Aaron was pouring some drinks for himself, Caitlin walked over and grabbed a drink as well.

"Hey," said Aaron.

"Hi," said Caitlin.

"It was a beautiful wedding, wasn't it?" asked Aaron.

"Yeah, very beautiful," said Caitlin.

"Thanks for coming," said Aaron.

"Of course, it was no trouble to come here, Trudy's always been so sweet and good to me," said Caitlin.

"Glad we can catch up, because we didn't really have time during Fabian's funeral," said Aaron.

"No we didn't, but let's be fair a funeral isn't really the ideal time to catch up," said Caitlin.

"How are you doing?" Asked Aaron.

"I'm doing fine," said Caitlin.

"How's your dad?" Asked Aaron.

"He is going very well, He likes his job and he recently got a girlfriend," said Caitlin.

"How do you feel about that?" Asked Aaron.

"She is sweet and she makes my father happy, but she will never replace my mother," said Caitlin.

"And how is your school?" Asked Aaron.

"Yes, I'm fine, I have some friends, but not a best friend like Fiona, because she can't be replaced," said Caitlin.

"No, I understand, no one will replace Fabian as my best friend either," said Aaron.

"Are you still having a hard time knowing he's gone?" Asked Caitlin.

"Yes, I still miss very much, luckily I've good friends who understand me and support me," said Aaron.

"And girlfriend," said Caitlin.

"Yes, KT has been a great support to me," said Aaron.

"I'm happy for you," said Caitlin.

"Do you've a boyfriend? Asked Aaron.

"No, there are some cute guys at my school, but they will never be as cute or handsome as you,' said Caitlin. "Okay so I shouldn't have said that out loud."

"Don't worry, I'm glad you haven't changed much," said Aaron.

"I know you never had the same feelings for me that I had for you," said Caitlin.

"Do you still have a crush on me?" Asked Aaron.

"No, I no longer have a crush on you, but that doesn't mean I haven't stopped carrying about you," said Caitlin.

"I still care about you, too," said Aaron.

"KT looks like a nice girl and a great girlfriend," said Caitlin.

"Yeah, she's all that, I'm glad I met her," said Aaron.

"That's must be very nice to have that feeling," said Caitlin.

"You'll find someone too Caitlin, someone who understands you and all your quirkiness," said Aaron.

"I'm not quirky," said Caitlin.

"Yes you're, you totally are," said Aaron.

"I just hope that we still can stay friends," said Caitlin

"I promise we'll stay friend," said Aaron.

Aaron put his arm around Caitlin and gave her a friendly hug.

In the meantime, Trudy and Isaac sat together on a bench and were feeding each other cake. Amber walked over and joined the newly married couple.

"Am I interrupting?" Asked Amber.

"No, sure not sweetie, come sit with us," said Trudy.

Amber grabbed a chair and sat down with Trudy and Isaac, she opened her purse and took out an envelope.

"Here you go," said Amber, as she handed Trudy the envelope.

"What's this?" Asked Trudy.

"In the envelope is money, so you can buy new wedding rings, since yours were eaten by Delphi," said Amber.

"But you don't have to, sweetie, you already bought me this wedding dress," said Trudy.

"It's not just from me, it's from all of us, a little bit of Fabian's too, so that way it feels that he is here with us today," said Amber.

"Oh sweetie thank you, come here," said Trudy, as she pulled Amber in for a hug.

"Shall I get us something to drink?" Asked Isaac.

"I can get you something to drink," suggested Amber.

"No, you just sit here with Trudy and talk, I'll go get the drinks," said Isaac.

Isaac got up and walked over to the table to grab a drink, Zechariah walked up to the table and stood next to Isaac.

"It was a beautiful ceremony," said Zechariah.

"Thank you, I'm very lucky to be married to such a wonderful woman," said Isaac.

"Have you told her yet?" Asked Zechariah.

"No, not yet, now is not really the time to tell her that soon I'm going back to Kenya," said Isaac.

"She needs to know, Isaac," said Zechariah.

"I know Zechariah," said Isaac.

"I know you will do the right thing Isaac," said Zechariah.

Zechariah walked away. Isaac looked at Trudy and saw how happy she was and now finding it even more difficult to tell that he was leaving soon.

In the meantime Eddie was sitting at a table, Mr. Sweet walked in with two drinks and sat down with him.

"Here you go," said Mr. Sweet.

"Good timing Dad, I was just about to get up to get a drink," said Eddie.

"How are you doing Edison?" Asked Mr. Sweet.

"I'm doing great," said Eddie.

"That's great to hear," said Mr. Sweet.

"Hey, I know I haven't said this yet, but I'm really glad you get to keep your job," said Eddie.

"I'm very happy, too," said Mr. Sweet.

"But it's mostly thanks to Mara, Jerome and Otis they organized that whole auction, I didn't do much, I had to do something else to take care of," said Eddie.

"You're becoming a man," said Mr. Sweet.

"Oh, dad, not that speech, please," said Eddie.

"I won't say another word," said Mr. Sweet.

"Have you heard from the schoolboard?" Asked Eddie.

"Yes, they apologized to me," said Mr. Sweet.

"They did?" Asked Eddie.

"Yeah and I even heard that Shepard got fired," said Mr. Sweet.

"He got fired?" Asked Eddie.

"Yes, they were not happy with how he had behaved," said Mr. Sweet.

"Then he got his karma after all," said Eddie.

"His well-deserved karma," said Mr. Sweet.

"I'm really very happy for you dad," said Eddie.

"If you don't mind I'm going to dance with Maeve now. But if you want to stay and continue talking, then that's okay too," said Mr. Sweet.

"It's okay dad, go dance with your wife," said Eddie.

Mr. Sweet got up and was about to leave, but before he went he got a hug from Eddie. Mr. Sweet put his arms around Eddie and was glad for the father-son moment with Eddie.

In the meantime, Nina was still standing alone, having just finished her pie. Mason walked up and joined her.

"Hi," said Mason.

"Hey Mason," said Nina.

"Are you all right?" Asked Mason.

"Yeah, I'm fine," said Nina.

"It was really nice ceremony," said Mason.

"Yes, Trudy and Isaac both looked very beautiful and happy," said Nina.

"And it looks like the cake was a success because it's all gone now," said Mason.

"It was a very nice cake, you did a very good job," said Nina.

"Thank you, that's so nice of you to say," said Mason.

"You're welcome," said Nina.

"Are you thinking about Fabian?" Asked Mason.

"Yes, I miss him," said Nina.

"You know, at times like this you want someone like your boyfriend with you," said Mason.

"I just don't want to think about it right now," said Nina.

"Is there anything I can do for you?" Asked Mason.

Nina looked at the dance floor and saw that Aaron and KT, Patricia and Eddie, Joy and Otis, Jerome and Mara, Mr. Sweet and Ms. Delaney, Trudy and Isaac were dancing to a slow song.

"Would you like to dance with me?" Asked Nina.

"I'm not much of a dancer," said Mason.

"It's a slow number and if it gets really hard just follow my lead," said Nina.

"Okay," said Mason.

Nina took Mason's hand and went to the dance floor and danced with him.

"Thank you," said Nina.

"For what?" Asked Mason.

"For becoming a good friend to me, I needed one," said Nina.

"No problem, I'm especially very happy that you're the first real friend I've gotten, thank you for that," said Mason.

Nina smiled and put her head against Mason's chest and continued to dance with him.

In the meantime in the villa. Caroline stood at the door of the room where Fabian lay, Geoffrey came out of the room.

"And?" Asked Caroline.

"I gave the sleeping pill, he will fall asleep soon," said Geoffrey.

"Good, the boy wants to know what we're up to with the girl," said Caroline.

"Even if he knows, he can't do anything stop us," said Geoffrey.

"And we need to keep it that way," said Caroline.

"Nothing will go wrong my love, tomorrow we'll make our strike and the second phase begins," said Geoffrey.

What awaits KT? What are Geoffrey and Caroline planning to do with her? And what is phase two?
