"Well, someone's grouchy." Snorted Elsa.
"Am not." Pouted Anna.
Kristoff smiled at his wife's reaction. "Well, that just proves it."
The blonde smiled in turn. "See?" She then reduced her sass to look at her sister with care. "What is it, you don't have enough coffee to cope with the morning?"
Anna sighed. "Shush."
Elsa smiled tenderly as the redhead rubbed her temples. She picked a tangerine from the bowl in the middle of the table and started pealing it with attention, thinking that the vitamins would do her good. "So... What makes you crabby?" She asked gently.
Anna opened her eyes again and grumbled. "The time. Do you have any idea how early it is?"
Elsa looked by the window she was pointing at, and smirked. It was still night.
"You're the one who wanted to arrive to the Northuldra camp today. I told you that to do so, the only way was to wake up at such an hour."
She kept peeling the fruit gently, while Anna kept groaning next to her. After a while, she prepared sections of it, placing them nicely on a plate.
Her care actually irritated the Queen. "How can you be so... Alright with it?"
The Spirit smiled calmly. "I'm used to waking up at dawn in the Forest. We have to heat the water before the kids wake up, for example."
She gave her sister a pointed look with humor, and Anna groaned even more. "Oh, so I'm a kid, huh?"
"I didn't say that." Smirked Elsa, though it was exactly what she had meant to say.
The redhead squinted at her, and the blonde made amends by handing her the plate. "There. It will help waking you up. And you don't have to blame it all on me; you insisted on making the journey that way, I only ceded."
The Queen agreed that it was her mistake, and took the pieces of fruit. "You're right, it could have been worse. At least you woke me nicely and not with a shower of ice cubes."
"Good idea though. I'm noting it down." Joked Elsa.
Kristoff was looking at them with affection, his cheek on his fist. "Why did you even want to be there before night?" He asked. He then turned to Elsa with a tilt of the head. "I tried to make her tell me for days, but she refused."
Anna suddenly started to blush, and Elsa smirked at him, then turned to her. The Queen sighed. "Fine. You can tell him."
"Are you sure? It will not be a surprise if I do."
Anna had a sad smile. "It hurts me to keep secrets from him. Besides, he's the one who will drive all day. So it's only fair."
Kristoff blinked, exchanging a glance with Olaf, who shrugged. Elsa had an agreeing pout. She then smiled to the blond.
"Well, someone's birthday is coming up soon, and the Northuldra happen to have a yearly event with other tribes to celebrate Nature, and it involves a lot of reindeer shows. The event is tomorrow."
Kristoff's face lit up, and he let out a gasp. He looked childish, but his expression quickly turned to determination as he gulped his coffee down and stood up in one go. The others were startled.
"What are we waiting for then? Hurry up!"
