Andy made his way back home again in his notorious, blue jacket and rucksack once again. This time when Andy opened the door, someone had so patiently waited for him at the door.
It was his "little brother". "Yay! You're back!"
"Whoa!" Andy jumped as he didn't expect Chucky to actually stand there the entire day. Andy got down on his knees to talk to his "little brother". "You actually stood there this entire time? That's impressive!"
Chucky smiled and presented his "big brother" as a present. "I made you a present Andy." It was a broken popsicle stick with a bow on it.
Andy looked at his present and chuckled a little. He appreciated Chucky thinking about him but Chucky had to do better. He took his present and said, "Wow!...thanks."
"Andy!" Shane whispered. "Shhhh!"
Andy forgot about Shane. 'Why is he still here?' he thought to himself. He then saw his mom laying on his lap. Andy picked up his little brother and took him outside. "Come on let's get out of here Chucky!"
Outside, Andy sat on the bench he did before.
Chucky stood next to him on the same bench.
As they sat there together, Andy needed to vent his feelings.
Chucky had already made it clear that he was Andy's best friend. He introduced himself, imprinted on him, asked for his name, made him a present, followed Andy almost everywhere he went, stood by his side and even waited for him to come home! What better friend could Andy ask for?
So Andy felt more than welcome to express his feelings. He sighed and began to express himself. "You know Chucky! I don't like Shane! I don't understand what my mom sees in him! He's a total jerk! I mean, he isn't nice!" He picked up and threw a rock. "He's rude! He's left my mom before!" Andy picked up and threw another rock. "Shane's just...a complete butthole! There I said it!" Andy threw another rock and this time knocked over something.
Chucky looked at Andy with his pitiful, blue eyes. "I won't leave you, Andy."
Andy turned and looked into Chucky's large, blue eyes.
"I'll never leave you. You're my best friend." Chucky then made a motion to hug him. It was really kind of him to do that.
Andy smiled and hugged his "little brother" tightly. "Thanks Chucky!" This time, he really meant that.
"Are we having fun now?" said Chucky.
"Oh yeah! Definitely!" Andy smiled. He's finally made a new friend!
