Lancer growled as he took a step forward. These assholes need to be taught a lesson for attempting to kill Anna.
It all happened in a blink of an eye, the speed Lancer went at astonishing, breaking the sound barrier in an instant. Despite his spear remaining dematerialized, blood still sprouted all over like fountains. The people from JUNGLE had absolutely no time to react before being torn to shreds. Just under a hundred people, all massacred in less than a second. Even without being armed, Lancer's mastery of hand-to-hand combat was enough to create a gruesome scene.
In a scene like after a battle, Lancer alone stood. That expression on his face, one of pure, sick joy at having killed so many so fast even though he was covered in blood, it chilled Anna to the core even more than the killing intent he's radiating right now, made even worse by the fact he was now laughing, his fangs somehow more noticeable now. This scenario is a living nightmare. She couldn't help but throw up violently at the sight of all those mutilated corpses, the blood everywhere, the countless severed body parts, and all those heaps of organs. This is the demon who killed millions upon millions of people. A reminder that this man is the incarnation of a war god and earned the love of the Celtic goddess of war and death. Tremble before the fearsome King of Warriors!
Anna had never been as scared as she is now. The bounded field around her only kept things from entering, not leaving. No resistance met the little girl as she took terrified steps back. Her foot stepped down on a flesh-covered jawbone and she almost fell. Lancer seemed too overcome with glee to notice the one he was protecting retreat.
No longer recognizing Lancer as someone she can trust, Anna took off in a full sprint for the bar. How he can be seen is like night and day. Suddenly, a hand grabbed her arm and yanked her into an alley. Before she could even register what was happening, a hand was placed over her mouth. Agony filled her and what Anna saw before her eyes is a blood-covered katana sticking out of her chest. A muffled scream accompanied by a spray of red from between the gloved fingers.
Yukari pulled his katana out, letting the limp body crumple to the ground. He looked back to where Sukuna was busy regurgitating his lunch. He had been since that monster of a Servant killed all those people. "Are all Celts like that or is it just him?!"
"Sukuna," A disembodied voice said. Saber materialized a second later and was walking over to the boy. "You didn't get traumatized too badly, right?"
"I'm fine...Just what the hell is he..?! Wait, why are you here, Saber?!"
"Doesn't matter. Why does is whether or not Lancer'll try to kill you."
"So you're here to act as our protection back," Yukari summed up.
"Interpret it however. We should make ourselves scarce."
"Agreed," Nagare said through Kotosaka. "We had to improvise, but the objective was completed in the end."
- bad end
