Chapter 6

Everyone looked at Ana. "I waited for him outside of your school. I wanted him to stop messing with you. I tried to threaten him." Ana felt dumb. Saying it out loud didn't make any sense. She couldn't hurt a fly.

Christian stood up angrily, "What did he do to you?" Christian wasn't dumb, Luke Sawyer was a complete asshole. He was almost angry with himself. He should have known better than to tell Ana anything. She would try to protect him from anything just like he would do for her.

Ana sighed, "He came out when a car pulled up and I called his name. I yelled at him and told him to stay away from you. He smirked and I didn't like it at all. That's when I saw his eyes. He didn't really do anything to me." Christian relaxed.

Ana looked at Elena and Eric. She was worried about what trouble she was in, but they only showed concern. They moved to sit beside her. "The man that pulled up got out of the car. He called him his son."

Ana looked at all the adults. "I couldn't hear what he said, but he must have told his dad what I said. The next day that man followed me in this neighborhood. He asked me how I knew Christian. When I wouldn't tell him, he grabbed me and pinned me against the car. Christian, you, Luke, and that man have the same eyes. I think it was Jack and Luke is…" Eric and Elena were furious and Cary was already phoning the police to come back. "A car came by and he let me go. I should have told you, but I thought he was just an asshole and defending Luke. Until all this happened."

Ella and Grace sat with Christian. They couldn't believe what they were hearing. Cary announced that the police were on the way. He called his father, but the number was changed. Cary sighed and called his father's partner for the football team he still owned. "Robert, I'm trying to reach my father. It's an emergency." Cary's face fell as he listened. "No, everything is fine. It must be the Washington lines messing up. Take care."

Cary looked at Grace. "Something's very wrong. Robert said he hasn't lived in Michigan in years and hasn't heard from him. He said he was moving her to be closer to his family." Nothing made sense. When the police came they were given all of the details.

Ana sat beside Christian. "Ana, you think that man is Jack and Luke is my brother?" Ana shrugged, she wasn't sure but she hoped not. They pulled Christian out of school and decided that he would be homeschooled until things cleared up. The police had no leads on Jack Hyde and from the looks of it Carrick Sr. had lived in Washington for the last 10 years.

Cary hired a private investigator. They had eyes on Lucas Jackson Sawyer. When everyone heard his middle name they froze. "He's a minor so unless he does something, cops can't pick him up without his guardian knowing. He has no connection to Jack Hyde. His mother is listed as Andrea Sawyer." Jason Taylor was one of the best and he stopped and answered his phone, "Taylor!" Christian listened to them talking. "We found your father. He's in a nursing home with end stage dementia."

That was what they needed. They found him so they also found the path of his money. "Dad, can I come?" Cary looked at Christian and waved him on. They all climbed in Jason's truck. They found Cary being well taken care of although he didn't know his own son and grandson.

When they got to the bank they found out that Jack Hyde was in charge of the account, but Andrea Sawyer also had access. Cary was a lawyer and a good one. He hadn't spoken to his father but he had his will. Christian spoke up, "Dad, what if he got mad and changed it."

Cary shook his head, "That's not how my father does business Christian. He would have notified me." Cary produced the will and with the police with him the bank turned over the forged copy. The police had everything. Andrea and Luke Sawyer were picked up immediately.

Cary called the family and told them his plan. He headed to the station to represent Andrea Sawyer and speak to her. He stood outside the window and waited for the magic words. "I want a lawyer and don't talk to my fucking son."

Cary walked in and sat down. "I'll represent and get you off." Andrea looked confused. She couldn't afford this. "No charge, just the truth." He explained who he was and what they had on her and Jack. "I suggest you take me up on this and get a handle on Luke's behavior."

Andrea started to cry, "I know about you and your family. She looked at the mirror. Cary told her not to worry. "I met Jack in college. We both lived in New York. He was a hotshot kid with so much confidence. He had money and everyone loved him. We ran into each other later on and started a on and off relationship. I could tell he was different. He said his parents died and his mother told him he was adopted on her deathbed. He wasn't happy Jack anymore."

She told him she got pregnant and he wasn't there and life was a struggle. "He showed up one day. He made me take a paternity test, but he knew because of Luke's eyes. We moved here with him. He made us." The truth came out Andrea was abused constantly and so was Luke. "He's not a bad kid. He doesn't want to hurt Christian and he doesn't know he is his brother. Luke and Christian are brothers."

Cary wanted to help and he called his family quickly. Jason and Christian stood outside as Cary contacted everyone for a group meeting. Ella rubbed Christian's back, "Are you okay. I'm sorry all this is happening."

Christian hugged her, it wasn't her fault. Ana held his hand. "Help them dad and put that fucker in jail." Elliot slapped Christian on the back, his baby bro was becoming a man. No one corrected his language.

A deal was made and Andrea's job was to get Jack to admit everything on a recording. Luke knew nothing and Andrea called Jack from jail. Andrea made a scene, cursing and yelling leaving and pulling Luke out. Luke was confused this wasn't his mother.

Andrea was wearing a wire. Luke heard his father yelling, "What the fuck happened?" He didn't like him. He never did, but he was warned to never to disobey him.

Andrea shrugged, "They showed up at the house and started throwing all these bank papers at me. Luke was pulled out of school." Luke stayed quiet until he heard Jack yell about the Grey's. He didn't know why his father hated them so much. Christian never bothered him or anyone, but he was told to make his life hell.

Jack adjusted the mirror. "Did you see Christian today?" Luke had reported he hadn't been in school. He shook his head no. Jack looked at Andrea, "Did you say anything?" Luke wanted to smash his face in. He knew he beat his mother and if he stepped in, he got it too.

His mother told him never to get in the middle. "No I told them I wanted a lawyer and they let us both go. I called you right away." Luke knew that was a lie, they were there too long.

When they got home, Luke was sent to his room. He left the door cracked. "Jack, what are we going to do? They must know something. Have you been to the bank?" Jack didn't answer at first. "You need to figure this out!"

Jack slapped her hard. "It's not my fault! It's the fucking Greys. They think they're perfect and wonderful. And that fucker Cary, what a pussy name. He found out about me. Did he come look for his dear old brother? No!"

Andrea held her face and spit back maybe because you raped his little girl. "That was their fucking payback. I sure didn't mean to leave my evidence with that little shit, Christian Grey. I have two fucking kids and neither have my fucking name. And that little punk you raised in there can't even break him."

Luke started breathing heavily. He shook his head. He grabbed his bat and went out, "What did you say?" Luke didn't even look at his mother. He just gripped the bat.

Jack waved him off, "Oh please. You don't have the balls to do anything with that. Go back to your room." Jack wasn't scared. He turned his back on him to deal with Andrea.

Luke looked at his mother who shook her head. "Christian is my brother?" Jack just laughed and called him dumb.

Andrea saw the anger building in Luke. She knew she had enough evidence on him. She tried to end the conversation. "Jack, we can't stay here with you anymore." He laughed asking where she was going. "Luke, grab some clothes." Luke squinted but listened to his mother.

He did as he was told until he heard her being beaten. He ran in with the bat and hit his father in the back of both knees. He heard a snap and Jack hit the floor. He saw his mother bleeding and was knocked out. Jack pulled Luke's legs from under him to fight because his leg was broken. Luke's head hit the hard floor. He remembered seeing police come in and pull his father off of him before he passed out.
