I own nothing

Jon broke the surface of the lake with Long Claw. The eye of the wolf turned blue for split second then went back to black. He used it to climb out of the lake. The army of the dead was gone. He looked around only a light golden direwolf stood by in front of him with yellow eyes. The wolf tilted her head at him. Jon panted looking at the direwolf. It was clear it was a wild direwolf. The wolf moved closer to him. Jon stumbled to his feet his hand gripping Long Claw. He was preparing to fight the wild direwolf off. But the direwolf just stood there almost like she was waiting for him to come with her. Jon's eyes looked skyward then back to the direwolf. It was now clear to him the gods saw fit to send him the direwolf before him.

Raenera sat in the small council chamber in Kings Landing. Daenerys was gone no doubt back to Dragonstone to prepare. Her army was gathered. Dorne had even answered her call. But not all the crownland lords had. One did not, house Celtigar. If their lord survived what was to come, she would have dealt with him. Queen Alysanne's crown sat heavily on her head. She was dressed in a beautiful black dragon-scaled winter gown. She looked down at the map before her. Robb and the rest of the council were dealing with the army that gather in the city.

"Lady Daenessa to see you," Ser Markas called.

"Enter," Rae called her eyes never leaving the map before her.

Rae was so focused on her plans. That she did not hear two people enter instead of one. As the door shut Lady Daenessa came forward.

"Cousin, there is someone who wants to meet you," Lady Daenessa said.

Rae looked up at her. Her amethyst eyes met the dark amethyst eyes of a man that look like Rhaegar mixed with Aegon yet somehow different. She knew in an instant that this was one of her cousins. Nessa came over to the table as Daemon and Rae locked eyes. Nessa could not feel the change in the air.

"Cousin this my brother the new Captain of Golden Company, Daemon," Nessa introduced.

"Welcome to King's Landing Daemon please sit. You and I have much to discuss. I wonder what happened to the last Captain of Golden Company if you are the new one?" Rae questioned raising one of her eyebrows at Daemon.

"He and I had a disagreement but not a discussion for another time." Daemon came over to Raenera right with a smirk on his face. He liked her. Daemon pulled out the chair Rae nodded her head at his answer. For once his brother did not lie. She was a mixture of Visenya and Rhaenys but what his brother did not realize. She was much more than that. She reminded him of one of fourteen flames that come to life. She was Tessarion made flesh, the goddess of beauty, knowledge, music, art, prophecy, archery, plague, and healing. And if Nessa said was true. Rae had been blessed by Tessarion for she was a dreamer. "Indeed, we do. You can leave us, sister," Daemon commanded.

Nessa looked between Daemon and Raenera. She could see the Daemon meant to harm Raenera. But she waited for the Queen's approval to leave not her brother anymore. Rae nodded her head slightly.

"Your Grace, brother," Nessa said bowing to Rae as she left.

Once Daenessa was out of the room Daemon and Rae regarded each other for a time. Neither one of them said a word for a long moment. They were trying to figure the other one out. And as they did so they found a silent way to communicate. Daemon was the one to break the silence.

"The world once thought dragons were gone from the world yet. I've seen eight dragons fly over King's Landing. Stories reached across the Narrow Sea told us there were ten reborn," Daemon said.

Rae looked down for a moment. The loss she recently suffered is still fresh in her mind. She looked back to Daemon.

"One was killed in an endeavor for the war that our ancestor foresaw. The other is with my sister on Dragonstone. I'm sure you will see him shortly. I once thought he was mated to my mount but now, we are on opposite sides," Rae told him.

"How fairs your army," Daemon asked getting to the core of the issue.

"All of Westeros minus Lord Celtigar's men, 40,000 sell swords, and 10,000 unsullied," Rae spoke to him truthfully.

"Celtigar? They were from Valyria" Daemon asked shocked.

"My guess is he plans to wed my sister to get the Iron Throne. No Targaryen has ever married one of them Valyrian or not. Sadly, my sister is mad enough to agree to it," Rae explained.

Daemon smirked at her Valyrian or not comment. He nodded. If she was not married, he would have married Raenera in heartbeat. She was beautiful, smart, and had his sense of humor. There was sadness in her eyes that he noticed.

"What drove her to this point?" Daemon asked.

"Her three dragons, Dorgon her mount, Rhaegal the green one you saw flying overhead, and Version the one that was killed, are the only children she'll ever have," Rae told him.

"If that is the case Lord Celtigar is in for rude awaking," Daemon laughed. Raenera and he shared a smile. "When the time comes, he'll be the first to die," Daemon vowed.

"Your loyalty to me, a woman you never met and do not know, is quite remarkable," Rae said.

"It is my honor to serve you, my queen," Daemon told her.

"You want nothing in return?" Rae asked.

"The Golden Company wants to be paid," Daemon answered.

"That's not what I asked," Rae said staring at Daemon.

Rae and Daemon regarded each other again. Daemon sat back in the chair. She had caught him before he even knew there was chase a foot. She was really Tessarion come to life.

"House Blackfyre and house Targaryen share the same blood. The first dance of dragons was fought by our namesakes being husband and wife. We share their blood. As my sister has told you we once wanted the throne you sit on. But now I realize what the Blackfyre or rather what remains of it truly wants is to say we are family and maybe in time join our bloodline again," Daemon said looking at Rae.

"Perhaps, when all this is said and done. I will see you made Lord of Harrenhal, or if Lord Ardrian is killed Lord of Claw Isle," Rae offered him.

"You honor me," Daemon stated.

Raenera and Daemon quickly started talking out the finer details of her plan. He understood what she wanted. Maybe even better than she did. She thought it would happen during the battle. Little did she know as she told him her plan, he had developed his own. The door opened to reveal Ned Stark.

"Your, Grace, your army is ready to move out to Duskendale," Ned told her his eyes locking on the men in the room with Rae.

"I await your call, my queen" Daemon told her.

Daemon took her hand kissing the top of it. He stood bowing to her before he left the room. Ned's watchful eyes followed him as he did so. Ned's eyes went back to Rae once Daemon was out of the room. She did not look the less bit ashamed. She stood up and made her way over to Ned.

"Who was that?" Ned asked her.

"An ally Lord Stark," Rae answered.

"Do your commanders know about this ally?" Ned asked the unspoken question if Robb knew hung in the air.

"Some do… My Lord Hand does," Rae told him.

Jaerys stood on the beach of Dragonstone waiting for Daemon's arrival. All of Golden Company was already here well except for Daemon.
"You're late," Jaerys said as he saw his older brother's face.

Daemon glared at his little brother. Jaerys lead him toward the stairs up to the fortress. Their caught sight of Drogon flying overhead. After seeing Raenera's eight dragons Drogon was nothing. Daemon looked at his little brother.

"You're wrong?" Daemon said finally.

"About what," Jaerys asked confused.

"She's not Visenya and Rhaenys in one. She is Tessarion in flesh," Daemon said lust clear in his voice.

"You want her," Jaerys laughed.

"Only a blind man wouldn't want her. And even then, I'm not sure they would not want her," Daemon stated.

Jaerys laughed at his old brother's statement. They looked toward the fortress. Questions were lingering in his mind.

"If she's Tessarion what does that make Daenerys?" Jaerys asked.

"I don't know maybe Syrax" Daemon replied.

"Goddess of wine, fruitfulness, parties, festivals, drunkenness, vegetation, and ecstasy," Jaerys said shocked.

"You're forgetting chaos and madness," Daemon said coldly.

"Really," Jaerys said not believing Daemon would be so callus.

"You said yourself she is mad. And she is causing chaos saying she should be queen in earshot of others," Daemon explained.

"She said that," Jaerys said shocked.

"Yes, our queen told me that herself. It is what made her call the bannerman," Daemon told him.

They continued up the stairs in silence. Daemon looked over to Jaerys.

"You know she stands no chance," Daemon whispered.

"I am very well aware," Jaerys stated.

"I have a plan. I'll need your help and the help of men loyal to you," Daemon told him.

Jaerys nodded his head as they got closer to the door of the fortress. They would talk later Jaerys had little doubt.

Lord Ardrian Celtigar stood beside Daenerys. All her commanders were looking at the painting table in Dragonstone. Ardrian was looking at Daenerys with lust and like he was a starved man and she piece of meat. Ser Jorah and Daario eyed Ardrian in contempt. Ser Jorah was having second thoughts about Daenerys. Greyworm stood by Missandei looking at the painting table. A knock sounded at the door.

"Yes," Daenerys called out.

"Captain and Commander Daemon Blackfyre of Golden Company," Jaerys announced as he opened the door.

Ser Jorah's eyes went wide at the name Blackfyre as did Ardrian. Daenerys looked over to the door. She let out a gasp when seeing the handsome man with true Valyrian features. Lust for him was clear in her eyes along with madness. Daemon gave looked at Jaerys as he closed the door. Jaerys understood what that look meant and he slightly nodded his head. Daemon stocked over to the painted table. He stood across the table from Daenerys. There was confidence in every step. His eyes looked at each person in the group. He was making plans for which one of them would be the second he would cut down. The first was clear was the traitor, Lord Ardrian. And it was clear that the last would be Daenerys.

"We are meeting Raenera near Duskendale. I am sure she will try to sue for peace. But I will not have it. I am the blood of old Valyria. I am a dragon. The only true-blooded Targaryen left. I have will have my family's throne. Even if I have to take it with Fire and Blood," Daenerys raged.

Anyone who had to say they were a dragon was no true dragon. Ser Jorah caught the look in Daemon's eyes. There was another dragon in the room. Daemon smirked at her words. Daenerys looked at him returning his smile with lust and madness in her eyes. She had that right. Blood is what she'll have. Blood would saturate the ground until the water runs red. Ser Jorah was sure that Daemon wanted the same thing Fire and Blood. Ser Jorah had no idea it was the blood of people in this room that Daemon wanted. And the only dragon in the room was Daemon, not Daenerys.

Near Duskendale in the field, Daenerys and Raenera met with theirs. Daenerys dress in blood red gown. While Raenera was dressed in a black gown. Their commanders were on either side of them as the dragon circled overhead. Ser Jorah could see the huge number of tents in the background and each of the seven kingdoms' high lord banners waving in the distance. It was clear they had answered Raenera's call. Ned was shocked to see the man that met with Rae in King's Landing not the day before across the battlefield with Daenerys. But he said nothing all the while praying that Rae knew what she was doing. There was a pleading look in Raenera's eyes as she looked at Daenerys.

"Daeny sister, don't make me do this," Raenera pleaded. Daenerys gave her a cold look. The plead hit Ser Jorah's heart harder than anything. He noticed the flames in her eyes that were close to the surface. Daemon was even impressed with Raenera's plead. It was clear there was a dragon on the other side of the field in the body of Raenera in Daemon's mind."Go back Essos, rule in Mereen. And I will forget you ever moved against me. Please sister don't do this. You won't like how it ends," Rae offered and warned.

"No Raenera you won't like how it ends. You'll die tomorrow along with your children," Daenerys growled in her madness.

Tyrion, Ned, Robb, and Jaime all looked at Rae to see how she would react. Robb's hand was on his sword ready to strike her down for even uttering a threat about their children. But what shocked them was there were no tears in her eyes or even rage for that matter. There was just coldness and certainty. Rae's eyes met each of her commanders. She returned her eyes to the opposite side commander's. If this was what Daenerys wanted she would give it to her.

"So be it," Rae said her eyes locked on Daenerys.

Raenera's eyes traveled to Ser Jorah eyes. He was so sure that Daenerys would never move against Rae's children. To hear her utter that threat about Raenera's children would die. He knew the girl he fell for was truly gone. He was unsure if he could follow the woman in her place. Raenera's eyes then went to Daemon's. He tilted her head to her in understanding clear in his eyes. Rae said so be it was she told him to in act her plan. The silent message was received. If it was a bloodbath Daenerys wanted it would be a bloodbath she'll receive.

Jon and his newfound direwolf made their way through the cold and snow beyond the wall. The direwolf seemed to lead him away from the Wall. He could not for the life of him he could figure out why. When they reached a pass that would lead them directly back to East Watch. The direwolf tilted her head at Jon indicating that the direwolf wanted to go the other way. She tilted her head at him. Jon turned to head back toward East Watch. The she direwolf grab his pant leg pulling him the opposite way with all her strength until he fell into the snow. Jon pulled him to the sitting position looking at direwolf. His dark curls blew across his face. A flash of the Weirwood tree and Bran's face in Jon's mind as he looked at the direwolf. Jon shook his head swearing he hit his head. He looked back toward the wall and then back to the direwolf. Understanding filled Jon's mind. He needed to get Bran out of the land of always winter. The direwolf pulled on his pant leg again.

"Okay, okay I understand," Jon said to the wolf getting up.

Later that night Robb was in the war council tent looking over the maps. He never had lost a battle he was not going to lose this one. Not when his children and his wife's life hung in the balance. His father told him about Rae's meeting with one of Daenerys commanders. He did not want to believe it. He paces away from the table. He grabbed a goblet of wine downing it. His back was to the opening of the tent. Raenera entered still dressed like she was earlier only now her hair was down. She looked over to the map with all the markers on them.

"Robb," Rae said.

Robb turned and looked at her. He moved back to the table picking up a dragon piece. There was ire in his eyes. He walked closer to her.

"Tell me, sweetheart, how am I to win you this war if I do not know all the pieces," Robb asked his temper clearly out as he placed the dragon in her hand.

"Your father told you," Rae replied she moved closer to the table placing the dragon back by the direwolf piece on the board. Robb watched her every move. They met eyes over the board. "His name is Daemon Blackfyre. He is the commander and captain of Golden Company. The company I hired moons ago. When I first noticed my sister's madness. I never wanted you to fight this war for me," Rae told him.

"Rae sweetheart I am your husband it's my honor to win this war for you," Robb said coming over and placing his hands on the table.

Raenera looked across the table at Robb. She knew that she had to tell him her plans now. It was too late to stop them. She moved around the table. She took his hands. Robb looked at her. She leaned in kissing him softly. Before, she looked down at their joined hands.

"I knew you would talk me out of it if you knew. Like I let Tyrion and you talk me out of burning the Twins to the ground," Rae said as pointed to the map. Robb did not follow her. "I have to be ruthless now. It is not just my life that hangs in balance. It's yours and our children. If she somehow wins. She will burn the kingdoms to the ground. So, I made moves to end her. That is why I pleaded with her to leave. I know how this battle ends," Rae explained.

"How," Robb asked.

"Tomorrow Daenerys and her army will be destroyed from within," Rae explained.

"Within," Robb asked shocked.

"The Golden Company is mine they may play like they are serving her all the while serving me. I met and found common ground with members of her second sons. Most of them now follow me too. She only has her unsullied soldiers, Lord Celtigar and his men, and Ser Jorah. And even Ser Jorah may be on our side. He claimed that she would never threaten my children, yet she did just that. So tomorrow there will be a blood bath," Rae explained.

Daemon over the cloak of the night fully dressed in his armor headed toward the tents of Lord Celtigar. He nodded to the rest of his men and his brother Jaerys. He slipped into the tent. Lord Celtigar turned to look at the tent opening as the fabric blew in wind.

"Captain Blackfyre what are you doing here," Ardrian asked noticing Daemon in his tent.

Daemon moved with the grace of a dragon in flight over to Ardrian. Soon the cries, and the scent of smoked filled the air, and the sound of metal clashing filled the air. Ardrian looked concerned but Daemon did not look at all phased by it at all. If anything, he had a smirk on his face.

"Captain Blackfyre what is going on," Ardrian demanded.

"You know the one thing I cannot stand. Do you want to know what that is," Daemon asked casually moving closer to Ardrian Celtigar.

Ardrian could tell something was up. He backed up in fear. Until he was backed against a post.

"And what is that," Ardrian asked trying to sound brave.

The body of one of his men fell into his tent. Blood poured through his wounds. Ardrian eyes went wide at the sight. Daemon turned and looked and saw Jaerys standing behind the men. The smirk on his face just grew. He could almost smell the fear coming off Ardrian. Ardrian may act like he was tough, but he was no battle commander or even a warrior. And he was in the tent with a true dragon. Piss puddled at Ardrian feet when Daemon pulled out a dagger from his belt.

"A Traitor," Daemon growled as slit Ardrian's throat in seconds.

Blood splattered across his face. Daemon stocked out of the tent covered in blood. His blood heated. The encampment was in chaos. Good, the ground was already soaked in blood with more to come. Drogon senses the battle and lit tents on fire causing men to scream.

Rae and Robb were on their way back to their tent for the night when soldiers ran up to them. They exchanged looks at each other. They moved to the front lines. They watched in horror at the chaos that was happening across the field. Smoke and flames could be seen in the distance. The sound of metal clanging could be heard from him. Along with screams and groans of men. Gendry, Jaime, Ser Davos, Prince Oberyn, Ned, Willas, Tyrion, and Edmure came to the front line. Tyrion looked at Raenera as she watched the smoke rising. This was her plan to come to life a move that Tywin would have done.

Ser Jorah came running to Daenerys tent his sword out covered in blood. He watched in horror as Daario got his head removed by Jaerys a member of the second son. Raenera's plead to Daeny now made sense. The ground was saturated with blood. Puddles of blood were everywhere in the field. Jaerys and Ser Jorah exchanged looks. There was dragon fire in Jaerys eyes. It was at that moment Ser Jorah saw much of Daemon in Jaerys face. They were brothers. Seven hells. Jaerys killed another man that approached the Daenerys tent. It was clear that there was a plan. He tilted his head to Ser Jorah. Daemon came walking up covered head to toe in blood twilling his sword in his hand. He took down eight unsullied soldiers in rapid secession. Greyworm came running toward Daenerys' tent. Ser Jorah watched in horror when Greyworm was sliced in half in front of him by Daemon. Then had his head removed in one stroke. Ser Jorah looked between Jaerys and Daemon. Jorah held his hands up in surrender.

"The last thing I want to be a kin-slayer. So, I'll give you a chance to live," Daemon started. Jaerys looked at Daemon. Daemon nodded his head as Jaerys left. He ran off to collect all the heads of Daenerys commanders to present them to Raenera. "Kill her or I will after I cut down you," Daemon said leaving no room for argument.

Ser Jorah took a deep sigh before he turned heading inside Daenerys tent. She had a craze look to her. Her hair was completely unkempt. The room was in complete disarray. She rounded on Ser Jorah. She moved closer to him.

"Khalessi," Ser Jorah started.

"Ser Jorah happened?" Daenerys demanded.

"It seems your sister has found a way to destroy your army from within," Ser Jorah told her the truth.

"I will kill them. Burn them all…Burn… burn him… along with any that stand my way," Daenerys raged.

Ser Jorah knew in that instant she was truly gone. She paced away from him as she raged. He stopped hearing her words. Tears were falling down his face. Ser Jorah felt his grip on his sword tighten with the sweat he felt. He quickly plunged through her back. At that moment she fell to the ground blood pouring around her as Dorgon roared in pain. He fell to his knees tears pouring down his face. He knew he did the right thing, but it did not stop the pain he felt from losing her. He loved her.

The sun slowly rose with red sun to reveal the field covered in blood and ash. All Raenera's commanders heard Dorgon's roar of pain. In that instant, Raenera knew that Daenerys was dead. Tyrion looked at Raenera and then at Jaime. He and Jaime could almost hear the Rains of Castamere echoing in their mind. Jaerys and the rest of the men loyal to Raenera on the Daenerys side come forward carrying the heads of Daenerys commanders. They were covered in blood from head to toe. They dropped their heads at Raenera's feet. Then they all dropped to their knees before her. Drogon flew back toward where Selaera was starting a mourning dance with his mate. Jaime let out a gasp when he spied Gerion covered in blood holding Bright Roar in front of him as he bowed to Raenera. Daemon came forward stopping right in front of Raenera in his hands the head of Ardrian Celtigar the man that betrayed the realm. He was dripping with blood and ash. He threw the head at her feet before he dropped to his knees.

"It is done My Queen, cousin," Daemon told Raenera.

All the commanders looked at Raenera in horror. With those words, it was implied that she ordered this. Rae met eyes with Tyrion and then Robb. They both understood she just made the power of the Iron Throne unquestionable. Ser Jorah walked toward them cradling the dead body of Daenerys tears pouring down his face. He was trembling. He gently laid her body in front of Raenera. He dropped to his knees sobbing.

"If pleases you, my queen I want to take the black," Ser Jorah said.

"Ser Jorah, you have proven loyalty to me, I can pardon you," Rae tried.

"I don't deserve it, My Queen," Ser Jorah told her.

Rae nodded her head understandingly. She moved forward until she was in front of Daemon. He looked up at her questioningly. This was the real moment that they found if they put their trust in the right queen.

"Arise, Lord Daemon of House Blackfyre, Lord of Claw Isle" Raenera addressed him.

Daemon questioned if she would truly give him a place in her court before that moment. He questioned if she was just using him to win. But with those words, she did and proved she saw him as family and was not using him. She was truly Tessarion made flesh in his eyes. Daemon rose to his feet.

Author note: If you watch House of Dragon you know where my inspiration for Daemon comes from. I just could not help myself. I do have one question, Should Daemon Blackfyre get a dragon or not?
