Chapter 10: Hero Killer rises
Izuku and Ochako were walking to the U.A dorms. As they talked, Eri got to know Ochako more as well as Izuku. They finally made it to the dorms. Eri looked at the building in amazement.
"Is this where you live Mr. Deku?" Eri asked.
"Yep, and where I train to be a hero, same with Ochako," Izuku answered.
"Hopefully nobody comes by and scares-" Ochako started before being interrupted by a squeal from a certain pink skinned alien.
"AHHHHHH, isn't she just the cutest thing ever!" Mina said.
"I spoke too soon," Izuku stated while pinching his nose.
Eri hid her face in Izuku's chest frightened by Mina's sudden outburst.
"Mina stop!" Ochako said.
"What? I was ju-"
"You're LITERALLY scaring her, Mina!" Ochako told her as she karate chopped her head.
"Ow!" Mina said.
"Mina look, she's new and she's really shy around people, so the best thing to do is NOT get over excited like you usually are," Ochako said.
Mina sighed at this.
"Okay, fine. I'll behave myself." She said in defeat with a grumpy pouty face.
Eri slowly came out from Izuku's chest and took a look at the person who surprised her.
"W-who is she, Mr. Deku?" Eri asked.
"That's Mina. She gets overly excited like a child who offered her a lifetime supply of ice-cream and a free trip to Disneyland." Ochako told Eri.
"Hey! I take offense to that!" Mina said.
"It's kinda true," Izuku told her.
"I….. you have a point," Mina said.
"Anyway, she won't hurt you," Ochako said calmly to the little snow haired girl.
"Promise?" Eri asked.
"Pinky promise," Mina said.
"I-I'm Eri," Eri introduced herself.
"And my name is Mina," Mina told her before noticing a horn on her face, "Is that a horn?"
Eri touched her horn and nodded.
"That's adorable Eri," Mina said, "I got two."
She pointed to the horns on her head.
"Ooooh," Eri said.
Izuku's phone rang. There were a few petty crimes happening.
"Well better take care of these," Izuku said, "Eri you stay here with Ms Ochako."
"Ok," Eri said.
She then walked up to Izuku and hugged his leg.
"Awwww, she seems attached to you," Mina said.
"Come back soon Mr. Deku," Eri said.
"I will," Izuku said as he kissed the horn on Eri's head.
He then got into his hero costume and sprung into action. Izuku jumped on top of a building to scope the area for trouble. He noticed someone running with a purse.
"Not today," he said.
Izuku jumped down and grabbed the thief using blackwhip, and caught the bag. Someone rushed up and Izuku passed them the bag.
"Thank you Deku!" she said.
"No problem," Izuku said with a smile.
He saw an armored truck and a few thugs driving it. Izuku decided to chase after it. He channeled Full Cowling at 30% and dashed to the truck. He saw someone on top of it. It was Stain.
"Whatever your scheme is, the jig's up," Izuku said.
Stain looked at him and glared.
"You're Deku," he said.
"Well, guess news does travel fast," Izuku told him.
"I don't wanna hurt you, but I'm not making any promises," Stain told him, "Leave now before you get hurt."
"Not really my style," Izuku said.
"Alright," Stain said.
He got out a Katana and started to swing at Izuku. Izuku dodged by moving left and right. He then went for a 5% smash to the face, knocking Stain to the edge of the car. He got back up and then did a kick to the gut, sending Izuku flying. He used blackwhip to grab onto the runaway car then slingshot his way back to Stain.
'Delaware Smash: Air-Force!'
He flicked his fingers, shooting dozens of blasts in the air. Stain dashed away, having got what he was after. Izuku looked down and saw two people trapped.
"Help!"
Izuku grabbed the two and threw them out of the car, then used Blackwhip to slow the car down before it could hit anybody.
"Phew…. That was a doozy," he said.
He noticed a kid looking at all the action. He approached him.
"Hey, are you lost?" he asked.
"Kind of," the boy said.
"My name is Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku," Izuku said, "Are you looking for someone?"
"My big sister," he said.
"Well, what do you say we go-" Izuku began before being interrupted.
"SLOWPOKE!" shouted someone.
It was a little girl.
"Honestly, you heroes are so famous, yet you put big crimes like that above lost children?!" she asked, "If they're gonna send losers like you on the fields, we'd be better off with the people we had before!"
"Um…. are you this kid's sister?" Izuku asked.
"Damn right I am, the name's Maharo, and that would be my little brother Katsuma," Maharo said.
"Um… Hi," Izuku said.
"I trust you'll do better at your job this time right?" Maharo asked.
"Um… yes," Izuku said.
"I'm watching you Mr. Hero," Maharo said before turning to Katsuma, "Come on Katsuma."
"Bye," Katsuma said with a smile.
Izuku smiled knowing the kid was safe. Back at the dorms, Ochako ws doing Eri's hair, putting it into braids. She also did some shopping to get her some new clothes so she wouldn't be in the hospital gown all the time. As the day went on, Ochako told Eri about how she fell in love with Izuku and why she thinks she'll be a great hero.
"Oh, so that's why Mr. Chilly can use ice and fire," Eri said.
"That's right," Ochako said, "Thanks to Deku's kind inspiring words, he doesn't hold back."
"Uraraka, there you are," said a voice.
They both turned around to see Momo.
"Oh hey Yaomomo," Ochako said.
"Who's the little girl behind you?" Momo asked.
"This little girl is Eri. She was saved by Izuku by a villain." Ochako said.
"Hi," the little girl said before moving behind Ochako's leg.
"Don't worry, Eri. She's nice." Ochako told her.
Eri slowly came out of her hiding spot to look at Momo.
"You're adorable," Momo said.
She noticed a green bunny like toy in her arms.
"Is that a doll?" Momo asked.
"Yea, its my favorite because Ms Ochako got it for me, and it reminded me of Mr. Deku," Eri said.
That gave momo an idea.
"Eri do you wanna see something cool?" she asked.
Eri nodded vigorously.
Momo then created a doll of Izuku in his hero costume for Eri to look in amazement.
"What do you think?" Momo asked.
"Its amazing," Eri said, "Thank you Ms Dolly."
"You're quite welcome Eri," Momo said.
Later on Eri was watching a movie with Ochako. They were watching The Lion King. One part in particular got Eri thinking of something. She then turned to Ochako.
"Ms Ochako, what's a dad?" she asked.
"Well, a Dad is someone who watches out for you, takes care of you, and teaches you right from wrong and protects you from harm."
"Well what's a mom?" Eri asked.
"The same thing, but its a woman," Ochako answered.
'Someone who takes care of me,' Eri thought.
