AN: Got a really short one here lol sorry! But next few will be substantially larger. xD Like I said lol, not a lot happened some days... :D That's why the 358 movie did text skips LOL. Imagine I'm just button mashing to get to the cutscenes on certain days. xDDD

Xikira sat on her bed, cross legged, a heavy book and a fresh sheet of paper in her lap atop it.

Eight other pages lay scattered on her bed, various sketches of places and people set into them. All moments, events, from the memories of Kairi and Sora, and Riku too. Traverse Town, Olympus Colosseum, Radiant Garden...and some important moments back on the Destiny Islands, too.

She tapped her pencil to her new, blank page, taking a breath and closing her eyes.

She let herself sink back into the darkness...the world of memories and connections that was all hers to explore.

Let's see what else I can find.

Kairi, Sora, Riku? Who to pick this time...?

She sort of wanted to help Lauriam or Elrena again - but she was a little afraid now of actually breaking something in there. Maybe it was better to just let them be for now, let them heal up on their own... And besides, she thought neither of them would be happy with her if she just went and messed around in there without them even knowing, given past experience.

Then...what to do?

Ventus, she decided.

She searched until she found the thread leading her to Roxas's mind - and then, from there, it was easy to call up that sphere of light again. That Heart.

Xikira spent a while going through it all - world to world, traveling, fighting blue monsters she learned were Unversed...

Finding out more about Aqua and Terra - Ventus's friends. Learning that the masked boy was Ventus's...dark half? Darkness torn from his Heart...Vanitas...

The memories of that Vanitas boy bled into Kairi's at some point, and Xikira realized they had a connection: they'd met! Fought. In a world called Neverland.

It was all so interesting! The way it was all intertwined, how one thing could lead to another!

After a few minutes more of memory sifting, she was about ready to withdraw from the world of Hearts, minds and memories completely, when a new thread shimmered to life, casting out from Ventus's Heart into the darkness.

Xikira reached for it carefully, for it was thin and tattered, with strange patches of darkness bubbling on its length...and she followed it slowly into the void.

On and on, deeper and deeper, until she lost sight of everything else.

She thought it would never end - she even thought it would take her nowhere.

Some kind of severed connection...

But then, suddenly, she found the end and was bursting into light!

In the dark below her, she saw a massive...platform of stained glass, with images on it. It was orange and yellow, and showed a man - with brown hair and a...blue and golden Keyblade? He was wearing a tunic with red straps and loose pants. Terra! Around his image were other images too: a green star shaped charm, and a blue one too, and the face of a woman (Aqua)...and a boy's face who looked familiar to her. It was Ven's face (and of course, Roxas's too).

Xikira gazed at the platform, confusion and wonder filling her. This was Terra. A man who looked...strangely familiar to her, in a different way than just Ven's memories. It was-

"Hello...?"

She startled, turning this way and that in the air. The voice was all around her. It was...his voice! The brown haired man. Terra...

"Hello?" she said back quietly.

"Who...are...you? I- feel- you...? Where...am I? Where...are...you?"

"I-" Xikira felt a tightness in her chest. Her throat and her eyes felt strange again. Crying. She was going to cry? But why? Because of this man she didn't know? Because of this- "The connection. The connection within memories. I just...traced it to you - I followed it. That's- all I did. I don't know who you are, or where you are. But I'm in my room...at home."

"Home...?" the man's voice came again, filled with such a great sadness and a-

Suddenly the darkness began to vibrate and swirl around Xikira - began to shrink! To close in on her! It washed across the platform, smothering its warm light and obscuring the images! The platform bubbled and blackened, and began to sink down into the abyss! And the darkness around Xikira was sweeping her up and it was going to swallow her too-

Xikira released the connection instantly, letting herself surface in her room with a cry!

She gasped for every breath, clutching her chest where her heart was beating so fast. Her hair was stuck to her face, wetness falling down her cheeks...

What...was that?!

Whatever it was, Xikira was never going back there again.
