Chapter 7

North looked up from the Pooka, "What are you talking about," Rabbit Man, North used the old annoying nickname that Bunnymund hated.

"Jack is he your son?" the Pooka asked again.

"Unfortunately no," North stood up then popped his back, "Robert Frost is Jack's father." North left his office clearly saying he wanted to be alone.

Bunnymund whiskered twitched not sure what to think. He thought for sure that Jack was North's son. He sometimes acted like the boy's father.

Bunnymund walked around what was now Standoff Claussen and saw Kate and Ombric talking in the leaving room. The woman turned and saw Bunnymund walk in, "You look lost," she said.

"Can't sleep," the Pooka sat down on an old chair.

"You can see if Sandy can help you. Cosmo is with him as he gives sweet dream to the children. You might be able to ask Sanderson. I slept too much so I'm still wide awake," she looked at him, "What's wrong?"

"North?" was all Bunnymund said as Bunny and Aurelia came in.

"What about him?" Bunny looked at his younger self.

"I don't know. I asked him a question about Jack?"

Kate looked at Bunnymund and pick up her drink that was on the table and sighed.

"What did you asked?" Aurelia asked him her golden eyes wide as Bunny put his arm around her waist pulling her close.

"I asked if Jack was his son?" Bunnymund asked as Nicholas walked in and dropped his mug of hot chocolate.

Kate coughed on her water she was drinking, "You didn't?" she looked at the Pooka with wide eyes just Cosmo and Sandy came back.

"I wondered that myself but said nothing," Nicholas cleaning up his mess.

"Bunnymund," Kate looked at the Pooka, "Jack had a very sad childhood and overcame that. I ask you please leave it be. I'm still getting over of what happened to him. I can still see…"Kate closed her mouth and closed her pretty grey eyes.

Aurelia leaned into her mate, "I still can't get out of my head what I saw."

"Saw?" Bunnymund looked at her.

She shook her head as Bunny nuzzled her temple calming her down, "After Jack became a guardian he was doing cartwheels in Mother Nature domain. Knowing way he was the spirit of winter and not just the general. He talked about North the most how he believed in him when he was first chosen."

"Come on, Aurelia let's get to bed. You haven't slept in three day," Bunny told his mate.

ROGT

Bunny and Aurelia entered the room that North gave them, "Let me check your back making sure the door was locked," Bunny said helping her out of her dress.

"Aster, I think I know why they thought Jack was North's son," she lied down on the make shift nest that they slept in.

"They act a lot alike and they have same eyes, but Jack eyes use to be brown," Bunny said making her smile as he rubbed ointment on her back.

Aurelia moaned as Bunny rubbed her back, "Aster, does North have any children?"

"I don't think so," he started to nuzzle her back causing her moan and slowly turned into her Pooka form.

"Don't move, love," Bunny said chinning everywhere.

"You haven't done this since we became mate," she smiled as Bunny helped her roll over.

Bunny nipped at her neck as Aurelia pushed him down and started to mark him with her scent, "You learn fast."

"I had a good teacher," she smiled at him.

Aurelia's Pooka form she was beautiful. Her fur was a mixture of the fall leaves and there was a rose pattern on her forehead and shoulders. Her eyes were the color of perfectly aged gold. She smelled like pumpkin, and to him it was amazing.

"Mating season getting close," Bunny told her nuzzling her stomach, "Male Pooka's mark their mate to warn other males of, and with my younger self old habits."

"Bunny," she sat up and turned to her human form, "Look at your left wrist," she kissed his furry cheek as he turned human.

There on his wrist was a fall leaf. She took off the brassier that she wore to cover up her mark and shown Bunny an aster flower mark. I will only be with the one that as the leaf on his wrist, and the other guys naha."

ROGT

Soon everybody was asleep all but Bunnymund he was trying curious about Jack Frost and how he became a guardian. He looked no older than seventeen maybe sixteen. If he was right then he was consider a child. Bunnymund was confused why Mother Nature would turn a child so young into a spirit. Just then Bunnymund saw Cosmo and Sandy return from giving children happy dreams.

Closing his green eyes he tried to sleep but his ears twitched when he heard somebody whimper in their sleep and sat up then heard Tooth calming tone telling Jack that it was alright him that Mary was safe and she lived a good life.

Knowing that he shouldn't mess with the timeline he closed his eyes again and tried to sleep but he tossed and turned unable to get comfortable. He had no idea why and he sighed. It was going to be a long night for E. Aster Bunnymund.

ROTG

The next morning everybody found out that Kate made them all breakfast and was enjoying a hot meal when Bunnymund dragged himself to the diner room, "Looked what the cat dragged in," Sandy symbols said making Jack choke on his eggs.

Tooth thumped him once on the back with a smile as she looked at the dream giver who had a halo over his head.

North looked like he was nursing a headache and he saw Kate get some tomato juice out a put an egg into it and handed over to the Russian who thanked her. Bunnymund could tell the North had a hangover from drinking way too much.

They were talking softly among themselves when Mother Nature along with Aviva and Suvi came with a knocked out spirit who looked like he took a beating before he was subdued, "Suvi, you looked pleased that you kicked his ass," Jack said wiping his hand off.

"The bastard wouldn't go down without a fight and challenged me for the title of Summer General had to remind the other fire spirit why I was chosen."
