Theanimemaster9000: Yeah he's a bit of a hypocrite, but I think if done right, he was the one who would be the most redeemable of WTCH. I'm glad you like Arslan's backstory but her connection to Hazel is a lot deeper! Also, I think it's funny you thought of Dr. Eggman, I was thinking of Dexter and singing the Cartoon's theme every time I thought about Merlot XD!
Reader: I actually thought Hazel V Yang was also gonna be the endgame for a RWBY V WTCH fight. but for this story, it will sort of be Hazel V Arslan. In fact, Most of team WTCH are like the Admirals In One Piece. Many OP fans think that Zoro will fight Fujitora, Sanji fights Kizaru, and Luffy of course will face off against Akinu (makes me wonder who'll face off against Greenbul, personally, my money's sort of on Robin, or maybe even Ussop). But as many of you can guess Jaune will face off against Cinder and I've already said that Arslan will fight Hazel, but now the question is who will WT(C)(H) fight?
Batman1998: Don't worry, you were right! It's Funny you should ask about Jaune's Denseness because he won't be staying dense for long~!

Merlot continued firing giant blasts of dust Jaune's way, but the blonde knight kept dodging them as best as he could, jumping and using Aura Step to avoid the blasts.
'Damn it! I can't even get close to him with that Canon shooting everywhere!' Jaune thought to himself
"Show me that form! Show me the Grimm that lives inside of you!" Merlot ordered, "What are you scared of!?"
Jaune growled, "What am I afraid of!?" Jaune cried out, "Last time he took over my body he hurt my friends! I won't let him do something like that happen again!"
Merlot snarled, "How foolish!" Merlot cried as he fired another blast at Jaune only for the teen to jump out of the way, dodging another blast from the Mech, however, the Mech's other arm grabbed Jaune and picked him up.
"Now I've got you!" Merlot cried with joy, "Now, show me that form, or I'll crush you like a bug!" Merlot demanded.
"N-No!" Jaune cried, struggling to move and escape
The Mech's hand gripped tighter around Jaune's body, causing the blonde teen to yelp in pain as he felt pain all across his body. The pain of being crushed was the worse pain Jaune had ever felt in a while, it was even worse than being shot by Treygen.
"SHOW ME!" Merlot demanded, "SHOW ME THE PERFECT BEING!"
"N... No!" Jaune yelled
The Mech's hand squeezed tighter and Jaune cried once more, the pain becoming much worse. He swore that if his Aura broke, his entire upper body was going to be crushed to nothing but a bloody paste.
"Let me give the damn human what he wants!" Favnear cried out in anger
Jaune wanted to reply but the Mech's grips got tighter and tighter and Jaune could only think about the ache all over his body and cry out in agony.
"Damn it! If you don't let me out we'll both die!"
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" Jaune cried out
"Show it to me!" Merlot cried "I've waited my whole life to see such a fascinating sight! If you truly do have such a form! SHOW IT! LET ME SEE IT!" Merlot cried once again as he made the Mechs hand squeeze Jaune more.
However, a disk of flames appeared out of nowhere and cut off the Mech's Arm, causing it to fall with Jaune still in its grasp.
"What!? NO!" Merlot cried
Jaune finally was able to breathe and took in a few large breaths before slowly getting up.
"Dude! Are you ok!?"
Jaune turned his head to see Sun jump over to his side. Jaune smiled as he saw his friend and nodded weakly, "Y-Yeah, I just need some time to recover," Jaune said
Jumping to his other side, was Arslan, who pulled her rope dart back and caught it, "We might not have time," She said "We have to finish him quick, or else he might just release all the MutaGrimm here,"
Jaune nodded, "I know, However... the Mech's a real problem," Jaune told her.
"Any idea's how to get his butt outta that thing?" Sun asked
"We all have to hit as much as we can but at different angles, that shield can't block every single attack we throw at it if they're coming from different directions," Jaune said, "However, we also have to watch out for that Canon, he's able to change the type of dust she shoots out,"
Arslan nodded, "Then let's get to it," She said
And quickly, Arslan breathed in deeply and then breathed out a large flame of fire, spreading and hitting the Mech, not hitting the mech due to the shield activating and protecting it, however, it obscured the Mech's vision.
When the flames dissipated, Merlot saw that the three were gone, however, from his left, a few shots were fired and Merlot quickly turned the mech to the side only to see Sun shooting at him, Merlot activated the shield and the bullets didn't hit the Mech, however, the Mech was struck from the back by two fireballs, causing the Mech to slightly jolting a little forward. he turned around and aimed his Canon at Arslan, but Arslan quickly created another fireball, and just as Merlot fired a blast of lightning dust, She threw the fireball, and the two attacks collided and caused an explosion of lighting and fire.
Arslan flew back in the air but flipped and landed on one of the MutaGrimm's containers, but Merlot quickly aimed the Canon at Arslan once again, however, from behind, both Jaune and Sun jumped at the Mech and stabbed their weapons into the shoulders of the Mech.
Merlot felt the attack and quickly shook the two off, throwing them to opposite sides, but as they were thrown, Jaune unleashed an Arcus Mortis at the Mech's right, and Merlot activated the shield protecting it, but Sun's staff extended and with some force, it dented the shoulder of the Canon Arm, once again, causing the mech to stumble to the side, but regained its footing.
Merlot growled in anger, "ENOUGH OF THIS!" Merlot said
Suddenly, two turrets of missiles popped out of the Mech's back and they shot out wildly, causing the three students to spread out and do their best to dodge the explosions that the missiles caused.
Some of the explosions hit the Grimm cages killing some of them, though a few appeared to be set free even though they were missing limbs. After the explosions, some of the Grimm tried to kill the Huntsmen in training.
As the Grimm attacked them, Arslan quickly burned many that surrounded her, while Sun and Jaune killed off as many as they could. However, out of the three students, Jaune was the most winded, due to getting blown away as well as having the life nearly squeezed out of him, he was a lot more tired than Sun and Arslan, but he was still gonna fight.
However, Merlot smiled and use this opportunity to aim the Canon at Jaune and shot another blast of lighting dust at Jaune. Jaune finished killing a Mutant Ursa, but he saw a flash of light from behind him and he quickly turned around only to see the blast coming toward him, and he was in for a split second, only for Arslan to push him out of the way, and instead, she was the one struck by the attack as Jaune fell to the floor.
A massive shock coursed through Arslan's body before she was blasted away and sending her across the room and crashing into the wall.
Jaune's eyes widened with horror, "ARSLAN!" Jaune cried as he quickly got up and ran to her
Merlot chuckled and his laughs were heard echoing through the containment room, "What a fool she was! See how frail humans are!" Merlot said "This is why the perfect being is needed! The ultimate being born of Human and Grimm!" Merlot cried
Sun finished killing one of the last MutaGrimm and turned to Merlot with a glare, "What the hell are you talking about?" Sun asked
"Do you know the endless possibilities that a hybrid of Human, Faunus, and Grimm could do!?" Merlot asked "It's possible that they could be one of the most powerful beings on the planet! They would be able to heal from wounds even once sustained to major organs! They would be able to sense fear and even feed off that fear, they could also be able to use certain abilities that only certain Grimm contain! Imagine what a human could do if they had the speed of a Beowulf, the strength of a Bengrel! A Hybrid is a next step in evolution!"
Sun glared at him, "That's why you're doing this!?" Sun cried "Trying to force people to evolve!?"
"Of course! Humans and Faunus have stayed the same for thousands of years! Even with the likes of Aura and Semblances, we are no match for the endless fight against the Grimm! if we want to actually hold a candle to them we need to become a being similar to them!"
Jaune held Arslan in his arms and held his head against her chest to check for a heartbeat and thankfully he did hear one, but he looked at her his anger grew as well as his sadness.
"LOOK WHAT HE DID TO HER! LET ME OUT! LET ME OUT!" Favnear cried.
Jaune felt so many mixed emotions as he saw Arslan, one of the people he thought was one of the toughest and strongest women he knew, someone who never faltered in a fight, who he never saw loose, lying there... unconscious and injured.
Arslan jumped out of the window to join Jaune in the fight, she jumped over a few of the thugs and she was back to back with Jaune, she took a fighting stance and prepared to fight.
"Trouble just seems to follow you, doesn't it?" Arslan said
Jaune chuckled nervously, "My bad," he said
"She wanted to surprise you by entering the room through your window," Arslan said with a smile and a slight blush on her cheeks as well.
"We're your friends Jaune, we want to help you, no matter what it is," Arslan said "And because he needs a good fireball to the face,"
Jaune chuckled a little, "Oh alright, you guys can come" Jaune said with a smile.
"I can not believe we stole a van!" Arslan said as she sat in the passenger seat, holding on for dear life as Jaune drove in order to catch up with Sun and the other person.
"You got any better ideas!?" Jaune asked.
Jaune watched her leave before turning back to his friends only to sense a wave of negative and dark aura coming off his four female friends. A bead of sweat rolled down his head, "I-Is there something wrong girls?" Jaune asked
"NO!" They cried
They all turned to see Arslan, who was wearing a red and gold cheongsam dress and a pair of red kitten heels. And her hair was in a braided bun with gold hairpins in the bun. Jaune blushed a lot more when seeing her and couldn't deny that she was stunning.
"Jaune! you have to fight him please!" Arslan begged "D-Don't become a monster! Don't let him turn you into one!" Arslan cried
"But what if they try and kill you!? What if they don't even think about helping us try to get rid of him!?" Arslan cried.
Jaune didn't answer, right away, but he looked to Arslan, "And... what if that's the only way?" Jaune asked.
Arslan shook her head, "No! No! I refuse to believe that! There has to be another way!" Arslan cried.
"Maybe but we don't know what we're getting ourselves into, but maybe headmaster Ozpin will," Jaune said.
Arslan wanted to argue but she knew Jaune was right, if anyone knew something, It would be Ozpin, he knew a lot more about most things than even the staff. She let out a heavy sigh, "Are you sure about this?" she asked with a worried look.
"Yeah..." Jaune told her.
Tears streamed down his face, "Damn it!" Jaune cried out
"Now show me the Grimm form Jaune Arc! Show it to me! I want to see Evolution!"
Suddenly, all the cages of the MutaGrimm opened and they slowly made their way out of the cages and smelled the scent of Jaune, Sun, and Arslan.
"Crap!" Sun cried as he prepared to fight off the MutaGrimm.
Jaune's anger grew, however, no matter how much Favnear begged him to be released, Jaune refused to and set Arslan down gently before he stood up, and saw the Grimm closing slowly closing in on him, and something in him awoke. He took a quick glare at the MutaGrimm, "Get away from us," Jaune said.
A wave of White Aura burst out of him and all around the containment area and the white seemingly making everything white, and when the wave of White Aura hit the Grimm and Merlot, The Grimm winced in fear and backed away, and Merlot was stunned as his entire body felt frozen from immense fear that came out of nowhere.
Sun felt the power Jaune pushed out of him and looked back to him with surprise but then looked back to see the Grimm retreating. He looked back to his fellow blonde and smiled, knowing what it was that Jaune had done.
"W-W-What the hell was that!?" Merlot cried, he looked around to see his Grimm did not move forward, in fact, they were actually cowering! Out of Fear! Merlot was shaken to the core, he looked back to Jaune with an angry yet fearful expression, "What have you done to my Grimm!?"
Jaune just turned to him and glared and said nothing, he simply gripped Crocea Mors tighter and pushed as much Aura as he could into it and the sword glowed so brightly that it blinded Merlot.
Jaune then quickly slashed and unleashed the Arcus Mortis at the Mech and not able to see what exactly was happening, Merlot couldn't activate the dust shield. So when the attack struck the Mech, it cut the mech across the chest and sent the Mech crashing back into the wall.
Inside the Mech, Merlot tried to move it, but couldn't move it and he slammed his fist in anger at the controls. "NO! NO! NO! NO!" Merlot cried.
The front of the Mech opened and Merlot climbed out of it and looked at the blonde knight. However, Jaune used Aura step, and appeared right in front of Merlot with his sword pointed at Merlot, much to the Scientist's shock.
"You wanted to see a monster right?" Jaune asked in a dark tone, "Well you got one,"
Merlot backed up a little but Jaune pulled his sword back and slashed at Merlot, cutting the mad scientist across the chest in a similar fashion to the mech, and Merlot fell back in the Mech seat, coughing up blood.
Merlot groaned in Pain, "Y-You bastard!" Merlot cried
"That was only a small amount of the pain you caused the people of Alnwick," Jaune said with a glare.
Merlot smiled smugly, "Then why don't you finish me off?" Merlot asked "Kill me out of anger and revenge... show me the Grimm inside of you," Merlot said with a cough of blood.
Jaune glared at him and there was a side of him that wanted to kill him, he could even feel Favnear egging him on to do it.
But he didn't.
He sheathed Crocea Mors and looked at the man before him. "Screw you," Jaune said sternly.
Merlot laughed and dug into his coat, "Well... if you won't kill me, then I'll gladly kill us both," He said as he pulled out a scroll and pressed something on the screen.
Jaune's eyes widened with anger and grabbed the scroll out of Merlot's hand, "What the hell did you just do!?" Jaune cried
Merlot just laughed and Jaune looked at his scroll only to see that something called "Protocol Eclipse" was activated.
"It's a protocol that was initially intended to keep my research safe by blowing up the entire lab, but now it'll also be used to blow you to hell!" Merlot cried with a laugh.
Jaune glared at the Scientist, but turned away from him and jumped back down to tell Sun about what Merlot just did, and hearing what the madman did, Jaune quickly picked up Arslan and they ran out of the Containment room.
Merlot laughed as he hoped they wouldn't make it, but also felt anger as he never did see the form that Fe and Jericho described so vividly. However, he stopped laughing when he heard a growl. Merlot's eyes widened with horror as he looked forward only to see the claws of a Mutant Beowulf climbing its way up, before fully standing at the Mech's entrance.
It growled at him and Merlot's eyes widened with horror as he tried to scoot back, "P-Please... no...!" Merlot begged
The Beowulf inched closer to him before pouncing on him and going to bite only for Merlot to hold out his arm only for the Beowulf to bite it and tear it off, causing Merlot to scream in terror as he fell out to the side and then quickly escaped down the Mech. However, when he reached the ground floor he turned around only to see that all of his MutaGrimm surrounded him, snarling and growling as they looked at him.
Merlot looked in terror at his creations. "N-No!" Merlot cried, "I-I created you! I made you stronger! I gave you power! I-!"
However, he was cut off as the Beowulf from before jumped on his back and fed on him yet again and the rest of the Grimm joined in...
Back with Jaune, he was carrying Arslan on his back as he and Sun continued running down the hallway as quickly as possible. However, they heard roars coming from behind them, and Sun looked back to see if the MutaGrimm were behind them, but there was none, however, he was sure they were tracking them.
Eventually, they made their way out of the entire building and saw the kidnapped townsfolk waiting for them.
Seeing them standing and sitting, Sun gave them a panicked look. "Get back! Get away from the building!" Sun cried.
The hostages did as they told and quickly ran as far as they could from the building with the three students, and when they were far enough, the building exploded and the force sent some of them down to the ground.
Eventually, the townsfolk and the students looked back to the scene only to see pieces of the building falling down from the sky and down to the ground as some small fires raged in some parts.
Many of the kidnapped townsfolk cheered and Sun let out a reassuring sigh and smiled, Jaune did as well, and suddenly, something touched Jaune's back, he looked behind him and then looked down only to see a young girl in some ragged clothes looking up at him with a bit of a fearful look.
"I-Is it... is it o-over?" she asked
Jaune looked down at her and gave her a small smile, "Yeah, it's over," he said
Sun looked back and the cheering townsfolk, but then he looked around with rapid turns only to notice that Fe was nowhere to be found. 'She must have escaped during all the chaos,' Sun thought, 'But where did she go?'

Speaking of the Rouge, Fe was walking through the forest, reaching the meetup point that her true client was supposed to meet her at, and when she did reach it, she saw the meet-up point and she was a bit taken aback.
There stood a rather large light brown tent that was set up with a dead campfire in front of it near it and a single chair to the right of the dead fireplace. It was a strange sight, it was as if the person paid no mind that a wild animal or Grimm might stumble upon the place. Fe walked into the area only for a hidden drone to appear and a red dot appeared on her chest.
"Wait! Wait!" Fe cried out as she raised her hands in surrender, "Doc! Are you there!? It's me! Fe Fang!" Fe called out
After she announced her presence, the tent's door unzipped, and coming out of it was a tall middle-aged man with a slim build and slightly tanned skin. He had black and gray hair that was cut short and on his face was a thick mustache, his eyes were green. He wore a yellow dress shirt with a black necktie, and over it was a dark red vest, and over all of that was a grey overcoat with yellow linings. His pants were the same color as his overcoat, and a pair of cordovan shoes, which matched the color of the fingerless gloves he wore on his hands.
This was none other than the supposed dead Atlesian scientist... Dr. Arthur Watts.
He smiled and waved his hand and the red dot disappeared and the drone went back to its hiding place. Watts walked forward and smiled at the rouge Huntress. "It's good to see you manage to escape Merlot's base," Watts told her
"You know what happened?"
Watts continued to smile, "Yes," Watt's replied, "I hacked his Camera systems the moment I arrived here, and had a small drone monitoring the outside, when I saw those children enter I was slightly afraid, after all, the so-called hero of Vale himself was there," Watts said with an amused chuckle.
Fe knew who he was talking about and nodded, "Yeah, that kid boy is a curious one," Fe said
Watts nodded, "Indeed, he even caught the interest of a fellow... associate, of mine," he said, "Now, I trust you have what I hired you to get?" he asked
Fe nodded and grabbed her scroll and handed it to Watts, "I managed to get all the recent data before those kids broke in," Fe said
Watts took her scroll and opened it up to see that there were indeed files of Merlots research on the scroll, he smiled and placed his scroll atop of hers and activated a program that took all of the files she took and transferred them to his scroll, leaving no trace of Merlot's research on hers. He handed her back her scroll and Fe took it back.
Watts then pressed something on his scroll and Fe felt her scroll buzz and looked down and saw her payment, which was 15,000 Lien.
"A pleasure doing business with you, Ms. Fang," Watts said as he pocket his scroll, "I do hope to see you again should I ever need your help," Watts said
Fe nodded and left the area, as Watts when back into his tent, and once he was inside, he opened his scroll, opened Merlot's research files, and looked through everything. As he was reading the first set of notes and even if he was beginning, he was very pleased with what he was reading, finding the research fascinating.
Watts smiled, "This is truly fascinating... it will indeed help us with the future of our plans," He said as he continued reading.

Finally! Merlot has been defeated! But what was that!? Watts was the Fe's true client the whole time!? What could he possibly want with Merlot's research!? Jaune had finally fully unlocked Kings Aura! Yay! Now, will he train with it? Guess your gonna have to wait till the next chapter!
Also, I'll let you guys know that I've somewhat changed Salem's ultimate plan, her main goal is to still destroy the brother gods, but there is also another part to it~.
Anyway, we got 2 more chapters to go in the Grimm Eclipse Arc before we head to the Favnear Arc!
