Harry potter and the Royal Family
I have read a few stories where Harry Potter is at the Palace, or other members of the wizarding world engaged with the UK government and Royal Family. I remember one story where Harry had a mental link to Sarah Ferguson as well as many other women/wife's.
A few have Kingsley guarding the prime minister. A few have a 'Royal wizard' as part of the Government/Royal Court.
I have read and enjoyed a story where Harry became the prime minister, with Hermione and their children.
Another story is "Bob the wizard". I liked the anonymity of the writer who had Harry use the name Bob the wizard, and I could see Harry just called Harry or James while in this role, but it is your choice.
Harry can take a variety of routes from here,
· Qualify as an Auror, and is assigned to the Royal Family as Queens/King's wizard or as a body guard.
· Leave the magical world and join one of the armed forces, and at some point is assigned as a guard/body guard to the Royal Family. This could be after the full 7 years at school or he could have escaped school early.
· My initial thoughts for a fic is based on Harry Potter having completed Hogwarts and the story line from the books is complete, i.e. no horcruxes and no Voldemort, but open to interesting variations.
This story can be set at any point over the years since Harry left school.
I would like to see Harry working with the whole royal family, from the Queen/King down.
With a few members of the younger family displaying accidental magic, this again could be William/Harry's generation or their children.
I could see Harry teaching the younger generation a few pranks.
Regarding relationship, Harry, I would like to see as heterosexual, but his partner(s) can be magical or non-magical.
I am very happy if other characters in the story have alternative relationships (LGBTQIA2S+)
