CHAPTER 27

"Have you ever read the Bible, Crowley?", I muttered angrily, as I huddled on the floor where he had dropped me. Crowley looked up at me from his meal, still chewing. I wanted to knock all his teeth out just so he would stop making that annoying noise. He swallowed and dabbed at the corners of his mouth on his napkin before he spoke.

"Can't say that I have, Pet. Why?" I rolled my eyes at Crowley's continued use of very demeaning pet names for me.

"Then I guess you haven't heard that the good guys wins." I shot him a smug grin and he sighed as he stood up.

"You shouldn't believe everything you read, Dove", Crowley chuckled as he sauntered toward me with his hands deep in the pockets of his suit jacket. I tried to scurry backwards further against the wall but a surprised gasp spilled out of my mouth when I realized that I was already pressed as far against it as I could get. There was nowhere to go. My heart started to pound when he knelt down in front of me and leaned one hand on the wall next to my head. "It's just a book. A book written by flawed men."

"You and I both know that's not true", I whispered shakily. I had never been very religious, but I knew there was a God and I had always held to the belief that the Bible was His Word and it was the truth. I wasn't gonna let this demon dissuade me from that belief. "We will win!", I growled between clenched teeth. The demon just smiled sweetly at me, sending a cold shiver up my spine.

"Hmmm... We'll just have to see, won't we?", he purred back at me. He lifted his free hand and caressed my cheek with his thumb, making me flinch. I would have leaned away from his touch, but his other hand was still on the wall next to my head. I was caged in. He leaned in so close that I could smell the hot sulfur on his breath. I cringed and turned my face away when his lips brushed against mine. He snarled and grabbed my face to turn it back toward him again. "I think I've had about as much of your playing hard to get as I can stand." He squeezed my face hard between his fingers and I screeched in pain. "Are you ready to be mine? Hmm, Darling?"

"NOOOOO!", I screamed in his face. I wasn't about to give this smarmy asshole permission to rape me! I shoved at his shoulders, trying to push him back, but it was like trying to push a freight train down the tracks with my bare hands. Pointless. "FUCK YOU, YOU LIMEY DICK!" My cursing came out all muffled because of his tight grip on my face and he just grinned at my pathetic attempts to deny him.

"It doesn't matter, Love", Crowley whispered. "I don't really need your permission to take what I want." The hand on my face loosened and slid down to settle over my throat and he just held it there while he spoke. "But, it's easier for all involved if you just give in. I don't want to hurt you or the child by forcing you to submit."

"Than why don't you just paralyze me? Like you did before?", I said sarcastically. He made a disgusted face and stood up.

"Willing or not, I like my women to be able to participate." He straightened his suit and went back to sit in his chair to finish his meal. "If I had wanted to fuck a corpse, I would have dug one up."

"That's just gross", I groaned, my face pinched in disgust. Crowley just shrugged as he sipped his wine. "So, does that mean that if I refuse to cooperate, you're not gonna try anything? You'll leave me alone?" Crowley turned to look at me and a knowing grin spread across his face.

"I can't promise that I won't try ANYTHING, but I won't force that one little thing on you... yet." I just sat there on the floor with my knees pulled up to my chest, eyeing him suspiciously. "I can wait."

"Wait? Wait for what?", I croaked. I already knew the answer, but I couldn't seem to stop the question from tumbling out of my mouth.

"For the wee one to be born, of course." Crowley spoke without looking at me. He was busily cutting into his chicken. "But don't you worry, Love. There are plenty of other fun things we can do in the mean time." He turned his head and his lustful grin and red eyes made me shutter and I had to look away. I refused to think about what "fun things" he had in mind.

"I won't be here that long", I grumbled, staring at the far wall. "Sam and Dean will find me! And when they do, I'll take great pleasure in watching them kill you!" The demon shook his head and giggled gleefully. "What's so funny, demon?!", I snapped bitterly.

"Even if they could find out where you are, doubtful... and even if they could get here, unlikely... they'd never make it past what's waiting for them."

"Where... where am I?", I croaked. The fear was making my throat close up. The grin on his face got impossibly wide and I immediately regretted asking.

"Why, in Hell, of course." He sat back in his chair, staring into the glass of deep red wine in his hand. He almost seemed hypnotized by the blood colored liquid as he moved the glass in a circle, making the contents swirl and bubble. "So you might as well get comfortable, my dear. Why don't you sit on the bed? That hard floor can't be good for your back."

"No thanks", I chuckled humorlessly. "Wouldn't want to be giving you any ideas. I think I'll stay right here."

"You're going to get VERY uncomfortable down there", Crowley cooed. "Why not make it easy on yourself, Pet. You're here for the duration."

"The duration of what?", I asked, my voice breaking on the last word. Yet another question I didn't want to know the answer to, yet couldn't stop myself from asking.

"Eternity, Sweetheart. Eternity." OH GOD! I can't be locked in this room alone with this demon forever! PLEASE! ANYTHING BUT THAT! Crowley shoved his chair away from the table and patted his knee. "If you're not going to sit on the bed, why don't you come over here and sit on Daddy's lap, hmm? Keep him company." I swallowed hard and shut my eyes tight.

I felt like I was gonna throw up.
