A/n: this chapter is a little dark.
Liv was aware that she was dreaming. She knew because she was imagining a scene straight from a hardcore porno. It started as a nightmare, however, instead of Chris having been buried neck down in the sand, it was her.
Vaas hovered over her, mocking her with words that sounded like gibberish β her mind struggling to make sense of his Spanish. Then he grinned. Even deep in the cold damp earth, Liv could feel the goosebumps rise on her arms; the fine hairs on her neck stood up. She widened her eyes as he unfastened his tactical belt and unzipped his pants.
Oh, fuck no. Was he about to piss on her? She struggled to move but to no avail. Her body was insnared.
Liv had no choice but to take it, feeling a moment like Chris. She squeezed her eyes shut and awaited the foreign sensation, but it never came. Instead, she heard the sound of the sand crunching as Vaas kneeled, and a moment later, something pressed against her lips. It didn't take much for her to realize that the something was the head of his cock.
She hummed in surprise.
"Open your fucking mouth," Vaas ordered. "Take this big pirate cock."
It was wrong; extremely lewd. But the version of her in the dream eased open her mouth and allowed him to enter. He bottomed out, shoving the head to the back of her throat. She didn't gag, due to her dream state, but her mouth was filled; the sensation was too real, drawing from her previous experiences.
Liv hummed in response. Her body tingled with arousal.
It scared her so much, the fact she liked the idea of Vaas fucking her mouth, that she woke up in a panic. For a moment, she stared into the inky darkness surrounding her and caught her breath. Raising her hand, she gently grasped her throat. The dream was too real; her mind was depraved. Why did she have to imagine Vaas in such a lewd way? Did she want him like this?
It's hormones. Dominance is a turn on and what person in my situation doesn't imagine a better outcome?
It didn't help that Vaas was in his own way rather attractive.
At least it was over. Liv took an uneasy breath and stretched her tired legs. An uncomfortable feeling of wetness between her thighs made her shiver. No fucking way. Did her dream do this to her? Something was seriously wrong with her head. She turned onto her side and pressed her thighs together in annoyance. The goosebumps were present.
As much as Liv didn't want to, she shut her tired blue eyes and made herself go back to sleep. Luckily, she didn't slip into another lucid and sexual dream.
The pirate beside her, the one with the scar who carried the camera on occasion, puffed for the third time and narrowed his dark eyes at her. Liv knew well the reason, but she didn't care. Remaining in her seat, closer to him than Vaas, the Scavenger rocked and knocked her into the man.
Again, he made a noise in protest.
"The fuck is wrong with you, hermano (brother)? Over there puffing like a teenage girl," Vaas asked in annoyance. He stopped twirling the stem of two white flowers between his thumb and forefinger and shot him a glare.
"It's her," the man answered. "She is glued to me."
Carlos snorted. He glanced back at them from the rearview mirror.
"Maybe she likes you."
"Fuck you, amigo (friend). She's too damn clingy," the man with the scar argued.
Liv turned up her eyes. She wasn't sitting close to him because she wanted to; she just didn't want to be close to Vaas, not after the wet dream she had about him. Why did he have to be such a crybaby?
It's not his fault. He doesn't know.
But there was no way that she was going toββ
"Keep your hands to yourself, querida (darling). And move to the middle," Vaas ordered in annoyance.
Liv suppressed a groan and scooted over. She rested her hands on her lap and tried to keep from touching either of them, but the universe was out to get her.
Vaas reached over and turned her face toward him; she leaned into his hand.
"You like my pirates?" Vaas asked.
"No."
She was attracted to Vaas and Vaas alone. Her mind drifted over to the dream and she shivered.
Vaas stared into her eyes a moment then averted them to the pirate resting at the other end of the seat.
"You like her, Yada? This piece of Americana (American) ass?"
The man in question hummed.
"She is attractive, Jefe (boss). But she's not like the women in Badtown; light brown skin and big pechos (breasts). You know what I mean?"
Carlos whistled in response. Vaas grinned and turned his attention back to Liv, gauging her curious expression.
She didn't know that there were other people on the island; it was meant to be uncharted. Perhaps someone would-
Liv jerked in surprise as she felt Vaas slide a flower behind her ear. Her face turned red.
"My pirates prefer compliant pussy. You're shit out of luck."
"Woe is me," Liv retorted.
As if she cared.
Vaas snorted and released her face, resting against the seat.
"Olivia is a modest and unpretentious woman, hermanos (brothers). She used her money to buy Christopher lunch and a drink."
A chorus of laughter echoed around the cab in response. What was funny about that? Liv raised a curious brow.
"Don't listen to them, querida (darling). I have something special planned," Vaas mentioned, tossing an arm over her shoulders.
Something about this did not sit well with her.
"Move your ass. Our star wants to eat his lunch," Vaas ordered. He turned his eyes to Chris and motioned toward Liv. "Camera people, right? No fucking respect."
The said woman turned up her eyes and then adjusted the lens. She understood the urgency but if Vaas was going to handle the camera after her he needed to refrain from finger fucking it. Turning the focus on the two in front of her she made sure to include the tray that Carlos brought down from the Scavenger.
On it was a plate with some sort of meat, silverware, a glass of red wine with a straw, and a white milk vase holding a flower; the twin of the one behind her ear.
"Just a moment," Liv uttered.
She checked the setup again, then pressed record, giving a nod. There was no telling what the pirate had planned but she watched on in fear.
"Isn't this nice?" Vaas asked, picking up the silverware. He cut a piece of meat and lifted it with the fork. "You know I get tired of all the shooting and the killing."
"It's so nice," Chris agreed in eagerness.
He hummed as Vaas fed him.
"It's nice to have a little moment with you like this."
Staring down at him, the pirate grinned.
"You like your protein? Olivia used her hard-earned money to make sure you got something to eat. You should thank her."
"Thank you," Chris uttered, turning to her. "Thank you so fucking much."
Vaas tsked.
"Language! We're in the presence of a woman. And be fucking appreciative. It's gonna make you muscular... It's gonna make you strong... It's gonna make you a man," Vaas added, poking him on the nose with the fork between every sentence.
He sat it down on the tray and picked up the glass.
"Have a bit of this wine."
Liv couldn't suppress the smile on her face as Chris agreed in excitement. She was pleased to see him more lively than he had been several days ago.
Vaas looked up and grinned at her.
"Argentinian wine. It's the best."
He offered the straw to Chris and allowed him to sip from the glass, and then he too took a drink.
"Oh my God! Thank you!" Chris exclaimed.
Vaas sat aside the glass and averted his attention to the vase.
"You haven't commented once on the flowers I brought you."
Chris immediately frowned as if he was scared that he had offended him.
"Oh my god, they're so lovely. Did you pick them yourself?"
"I picked them up from my little camp," Vaas answered as he fingered the flower. His green eyes turned to Liv and again, brought her into the limelight. "Look at Olivia, doesn't she look gorgeous? See the little flower in her hair."
Chris looked at her.
"It suits you, Olivia."
The said woman shied away from their attention. Why was Vaas doing this? Was he wanting to embarrass her?
Snorting at her expression, Vaas picked up the silverware and cut Chris another piece from the meat.
"Have some more protein my friend. Protein makes the body strong. And powerful."
Chris opened his mouth wide to accept it. For a moment he chewed, then suddenly he let out a groan of disgust, spitting something out into the sand.
"Ugh! What is that? What did you put in the meat?"
Liv could not see what it was. Her brow raised in confusion. She watched Vaas reach down and pick the object up.
"I don't know what this is," he mentioned, using the wine to clean the sand and saliva from it. An ominous hum escaped his throat. "Ooh, I know what this is."
"What?" Chris asked in worry.
Liv took an uneasy breath. An air of nervousness surrounded her. She was scared. What the fuck had Vaas done?
"That's the bullet that was in your friend's leg," he answered merely.
Chris stared at the object for a moment in confusion, then it all sunk in.
"WHAT!?"
Liv's stomach churned in repulsion. Her wide eyes darted from Chris to the pirate. There was no way. Vaas must have been joking.
"BARRY!?" Chris exclaimed.
"This is Barry," Vaas confirmed as he pointed at the meat.
Liv was waiting for the punchline, but it never came. Fuck, this was real. She covered her mouth and shut her eyes for a moment; her heart was pounding. Her breath came out hot and thick as she struggled to catch it, feeling as though someone had punched her in the gut.
No, no, no, no.
A few days back she recalled Vaas asking for the cameraman, then a day or so later she saw that file on his laptop. Had he been dead this entire time?
"He fed me Barry!" She heard Chris shout.
"I didn't feed you Barry-"
Chris interrupted Vaas, shouting incoherently about what he had done.
"No, no, no," Vaas disagreed, having to raise his voice. "I fed you Barry's leg."
How the fuck was that any different? Liv didn't understand. Where was the rest-
"I can feel him inside me!" Chris exclaimed. "I'm a cannibal! Fuck you!"
Liv reached but nothing came up. Her stomach was in knots. There was no telling how disgusted Chris felt. She ignored their conversation the best she could but no matter how hard she tried, she could still hear the actor's cries.
Though it did little to comfort her at this point, Liv reached down to grasp her keychain. Her eyes came open and tears poured down her heated face as she sobbed, an action that didn't go unnoticed by Vaas.
His taunting grin faded into a frown.
"Fuck! CARLOS! TAKE HER TO THE FUCKING VEHICLE!"
Liv buried her fingers into her hair as she shook her head. She didn't want to go back; she didn't want to leave Chris with him. But she had no choice. The mountain of a man came and yanked her to her feet, taking her away. She was far too gone to even voice her opinion, barely realizing that her feet were moving until Carlos opened the door to the Scavenger for her and ushered her inside.
She lay down and sobbed, pulling her knees to her chest. How could Vaas?
He's a monster you fucking twit, that's how.
Liv felt so stupid. She was starting to like him; it was becoming more obvious every day. And it took Barry dying for her to realize how sick she was in the head. Reality had bitch slapped her right in the face.
And to make matters worse the dream resurfaced. Liv tightened her jaw and buried her nails into her skin, clawing red marks up her arm. Harder she dug until she drew blood, but again she scratched. Over and over.
"The fuck are you doing?" Carlos asked.
His voice made her jerk in fear, but she ignored him and continued. She wanted the goosebumps to never return; to never think of Vaas in any other way but repulsion.
Carlos jumped out of the front seat and tore open the door, grabbing Liv by the legs. She screamed in protest and shoved her shoe into his stomach to prevent him from stopping her, but he managed to crawl onto her, turning her over to where she was laying on her stomach; her arms he locked behind her back.
"Go and get Vaas!" He shouted to a pirate standing nearby. "Hurry the fuck up!"
Liv screamed in frustration and struggled against him. In their scuffle, the flower had fallen onto the floor, crushed beneath Carlos' feet.
Abandoned but unfortunately not forgotten. The events of today would haunt her forever.
