Most of the Z-Fighters have arrived back at Bulma's Bouse, having prepared themselves for the nearing that of the Black Star Shadow Dragons. With their power levels increased massively since the ten days had passed. Everyone except Goku, Uub, and Vegeta was not present during Beerus and Whis's meeting with the Z-Fighters. The intensity of the meeting was at an all-time high from the upcoming threat Whis had warned them of.
"Well, Goku and Vegeta had not arrived for this meeting. So you'll have to give them a heads-up on all this..." Whis reminded everyone.
"We know. Vegeta is still training with Beerus, and our father is still training with Uub." Gohan replied.
"Why would those two miss such an important meaning?" Chi-Chi asked in quiet anger.
"Maybe they didn't know we would have a meeting about all this. I can't blame those two, though. If we talked about having a meeting before our training, our dad and Uub would've been here immediately." Goten answered his mother's question, looking at her niece, Pan.
"Yeah, Grandpa may be a genius fighter, but that doesn't make him the brightest in the group..." Pan sighed, brushing her long hair.
Then, someone knocked on the door out of perfect timing. The Z-Fighters knew who the Ki their sensing was as Whis used his wand to open the door. Goku and Uub walked inside with deadpan expressions on their faces.
"I assume you guys and gals are ready?" Uub asked the Z-Fighters.
"Yeah, we're just waiting on our dad, Vegeta, and he's still on Beerus's planet. Hopefully, with his Ultra Ego powered up now, he'd at least stand a chance against whatever these Shadows Dragons are." Bulla replied to Uub.
"Knowing Dad, he might as well be pushing himself too hard, like normal..." Trunks rub his temples in frustration at Vegeta's insane training habits.
Then, out of coincidence, Beerus walked into the room with Vegeta in his base form in a slumped position, barely able to stand upward as Beerus half-carried him to the couch. Everyone gasped as Bulma rushed over to her Saiyan Husband as Beerus laid him down, sighing in pity overseeing his student in such a battered-up state. Trunks and Bulla rushed over to see if any significant damage to their father had occurred.
"Oh my... I didn't think he'd be such a mess..." Whis would float over to Vegeta's unconscious body.
Whis uses his wand to instantly warn Vegeta of his grievous wounds, prompting the Saiyan Prince to wake up.
"Are you okay, honey?" Bulma asked quietly.
"Yeah, you looked like you went too deep on Beerus's training." Trunks remarked.
"I'm fine... I should be strong enough now, right, Beerus?" Vegeta nodded and looked up at his mentor.
"Yes, you passed through Whis's training, but just barely. Even barely surviving that training is a testament to your growth, Vegeta..." Beerus smiled in pride at Vegeta's accomplishment.
"So, what did we miss?" Goku asked everyone.
"We discussed that the Shadow Dragons have got summoned from the Black Star Shadow Dragons. We can't sense their energy right now, so who knows when they'll attack?" Goten replied to his father.
"Until the first Shadow Dragon emerges, I'd like all of you to spend time with each other before that occurs. After all, I'm sure you'd rather not know when they'll be any causalities to all of you. I think you've done everything possible to prepare yourselves for the worst. Piccolo, you make sure you'd be the team leader of the Z-Fighters, will you? That's all I can say to you..." Whis looked at Piccolo.
"I will. Trust me..." Piccolo nodded his head.
"Alright. Well, we're off... Like we said before, if things go haywire, that's when we'll jump in..." Whis reminded everyone before he and Beerus disappeared in an instant.
Everyone remained silent so they could all take in what the Black Star Shadow Dragon threat may be and the fate of the 12 Universes...
