Ram was playing around with some Lis in the forest, never showing signs becoming bored from this same action.
"Yoohoo~! I'm right here!"
Ram shouted, suddenly appearing out of the bushes and caught a Lis, before tightly hugging it.
"Too tight!"
Once the captured Lis shouted out, Ram stopped hugging it before putting it on the ground and patting it.
She and the other Lis Humans have grown just a few centimeters since the passing years until now, but...
For some reason, because no other Lis Humans existed, Kayblis figured out that he should turn Lis into Lis Humans by training them.
The results were quite outstanding, as by now, 75% of the Lis here evolved into Lis Humans through convincing them that they can be like him.
And they did.
The only problem was that new clothing is needed to be produced. The production process is completely unknown, though. You could say that Kayblis used magic to do something strange.
Anyways, back to the current topic.
Ram was about to return with the Lis, when suddenly, she noticed that some of them are gone.
"Huh? Where's everyone?"
She looked around, and ran to the conclusion that they must have already ran back to Eikoln Town.
"... Haah...~ How troublesome..."
Ram then proceeded to walk towards the direction of Eikoln Town, only to meet a strangely tall person.
He looked a little scary, looking at her strangely.
Of course, Ram was curious about who this person was, as she did not see any Lis Humans around Eikoln.
"Mister, who are you?"
She innocently asked, even with the strange feeling of chills going around her body. Ram felt like she shouldn't be with this person.
"Me, hm? I am Fafnir, a dragon."
Fafnir introduced himself in a calm manner, too calm, in fact. With a strange gaze towards Ram, who backed off in fear due to a realization.
"What's with that expression? Do not fear me, for I am not like those dragons you think of. I, after all, am a wise dragon."
Fafnir said, slowly becoming inwardly irritated by the moment.
Not even heeding his words one bit, Ram immediately ran away quickly.
"Chief Kayblis-!"
Ram shouted, but before she could utter the chief's name, she was knocked down to the ground, becoming almost unconscious.
"Tch... Fine, I do not exactly know what this feeling is, but it seems like you are giving me that feeling unlike the others. Well, let's just put you to "testing" at somewhere, then."
Fafnir spoke, carrying a nearly unconscious Ram by his shoulder and walking away as if nothing happened.
Ram only felt fear, and hope that somebody would save her.
"... Chief... Help me..."
And then she started to cry.
Meanwhile, a Lis and a Lis Human slowly came out from the bushes, before looking at each other.
They were both injured for the sole reason of that dragon hurting them, and now they had to return to Eikoln quickly.
