Alyssa tucked the girls into their bassinets feeling tense knowing she had to go confront her boyfriend.

"Who's Jacey," Alyssa demanded, snatching the beer bottle out of Matt's hand.

"How did you," Matt asked.

"Who is she," Alyssa barked, "do not lie to me Matthew wolf."

"A friend," Matt replied.

"She was asking you to spend the night," Alyssa yelled.

"Umm," Matt stalled.

"Are you cheating on me," Alyssa asked.

"Umm " Matt started.

"Have you had sex with her," Alyssa demanded stating him down.

"Yes," Matt replied.

"Get out," Alyssa screamed.

"What," Matt asked incredulously.

"Get out of my house," Alyssa screamed.

"The twins," Matt said.

"When did it start," Alyssa asked, "how many times?"

"Just after your uncle's wedding," Matt admitted, " a couple times a week."

"While I was pregnant with our daughters," Alyssa asked.

"Yes," Matt replied, "Lyss we can fix this. You weren't here!"

"My brother was dying," Alyssa yelled, "I needed you in Seattle with me with my family. Fuck my aunt was changing into her scrubs when you finally got to the hospital."

"Why was your aunt getting ready anyway," Matt screamed.

"Because I didn't think you were coming and I wasn't doing that alone," Alyssa screached, "mom and auntie Teddy were with me And uncle Owen was ready to be with them in the nursery. You weren't there for the most terrifying thing I've done in years. You couldn't even answer your phone."

"We can get help and fix this," Matt pleaded .

"No we can't," Alyssa replied, "get your shit and get out."

"Lyss," Matt said.

"You do not get to cheat on me," Alyssa roared, "I will not teach our daughters that that's what love is supposed to look like. You do not get to abandon me and our kids when we need you. Get out of my house."

"Your house," Matt asked.

"It's my name on the mortgage, my down payment you chip in for bills when you remember to send me the money," Alyssa said, "it's all in my name. It's in my name and we have the agreement."

"The kids," Matt asked.

"Who you hold for 10 minutes a day so I can shower," Alyssa yelled, "won't miss you. As soon as we have passports we're going to my moms. I'm going to take them to see her for her birthday. They will know my family. The people who love me and love them."

"Please," Matt asked.

"No," Alyssa replied, "I'm done. Honestly Matt I've been done for a while. This was just the final straw. This was what I needed to say enough is enough. Our daughters are almost five months and you can't tell them apart. Matt when was the last time you wanted to be with me? When was the last time we slept in the same bed? When was the last time we kissed or hugged or held hands. I'm your meal ticket and I got blinded by COVID and lockdown. But we're done. You need to leave tonight. Go stay with your little fuck buddy for all I care. Sleep in your truck I don't know just get the hell out of my house."

"You can't do that," Matt yelled.

"Hmm you haven't paid rent in six months, we don't have a tenancy agreement and you owe me money for the girls hospital bills," Alyssa said, "what do you think is going to happen here? I just paid $15,000 as what we owed after the C-section and the girls bills. You need to send me at least $5,000 of that. Matt I've got you in such a precarious position you're better to leave with your tail between your legs. You used me. I'm done. I don't need you here making me feel small making me feel inadequate. You are going to leave."

"Or what," Matt threatened.

"I'm calling Dawson," Alyssa replied.

"Yes a cop," Matt panicked.

"He is," Alyssa replied, "start moving or I call. You have an hour to get out of my house and I'm watching you pack."

"I have nothing to put it in," Matt said.

"There's garbage bags with the cleaning supplies put your shit in them," Alyssa yelled.

"Please Lyss we can fix this," Matt tried.

"No," Alyssa replied, "you broke my trust. I'll sort out custody with you later. I've known for a couple weeks. I've met with a lawyer. Don't play me because I will win. I'm going for 90% custody. Their nursing infants who are breastfed they have to be with me. We will establish visitation and a schedule for you to see them. Child support will be paid."

"Please," Matt tried.

"No," Alyssa said, "once their passports arrive by the end of next week we're going to Malibu like we planned for my mom's birthday. I'll probably stay a few weeks. They don't have Canadian citizenship yet. We're all American and they were born in Washington."

"So you'll use the border ," Matt asked.

"I've spoken to lawyers on both sides," alyssa said, "that they don't have citizenship yet they're okay for now because we both do and it's in process but for now they're American. I'm going to moms we'll spend a few days on one side with Uncle Owen and auntie Teddy."

"There not going back," Matt asked.

"There's not," Alyssa replied, "I won't tolerate cheating."

"We're a family," Matt yelled.

A baby began to cry.

"Now you woke Alex," Alyssa yelled, "are you happy?"

"Me I was having a beer when you picked a fight," Matt yelled.

"Don't put this on me," Alyssa hissed, "I will get my daughter that you've spent maybe 6 hours with in her entire life you get your shit together."

Matt stormed into the garage.

Alyssa picked up Alex, "it's okay baby. Mommy and dad just had a big fight and daddy is going to move out. You and Celeste are staying here with me. We'll be good. We always are. And in a week we go see grandma in LA."

Alyssa held the baby and gently bounced her rocking side to side soothing herself as much as the baby. After several threats of calling her cousin Dawson who was with the RCMP Matt was gone leaving only a few large tools and a tool box behind. She had given him until the end of the week to get them out of her garage. Inside he had only had his computer clothes and toiletries all of the furniture and housewares belonging to and being purchased by Alyssa. She went on Amazon and order herself new sheets for the big bed that were just hers. In the home assistant app she changed the door codes and alarm code so Matt would not be able to get back into the house as well as disabling his ability to use his phone to control the house. She already had new locks for the doors and shed.
