Two dragons were flying from afar, looking for something, or someone.
"Hey, Sifrit. Are you sure that the Dragon King isn't crazy enough to consider that his pet was still alive?"
A light blue dragon asked the black dragon Sifrit, who only shook his long head and sighing.
"Well, I don't think so. He's busy trying to manage a million dragons, so our king tasked a few small groups, including us into finding a special Lis named Lisbeth that escaped the kingdom for some reason unknown."
Sifrit explained, before flapping his wings to regain speed.
They scouted the area and continued to look for Lisbeth, who in fact, was Kayblis.
However, Sifrit was curious about something that was several miles away, and decided to head there instead.
The other dragon was confused about this action, yet decided to follow him.
"Is that... A settlement?"
"Yes, a settlement, full of Lis."
Both dragons were flabbergasted about what they saw, yet they were incredibly curious as to how this settlement was even made.
There were strange crafts that allow Lis to travel on a limited distance on the ocean, and several things that were quite surprising.
"Uh, Sifrit? Should we report this to the King?"
"No. Let's try meeting them first."

It was yet another normal day in Eikoln Town. No need to say anything else.
Well, until two dragons appeared and landed near the town.
As surprising as it was, 150 Lis immediately readied to chant their spells to try and bind the dragons.
The dragons, surprised at this show of hostility at their appearance, immediately tried to defend themselves (or flee) as they were very pacifistic at the orders of and knew that the Lis were just defending themselves from the possible threat that was them.
But alas, they were too late as magical chains had already started to bind them in place.
'... What the-?!' The light blue dragon shouted in his head. He could not move at all, as if some invisible force prevented him to. If he resisted, he'd just waste energy.
So, the dragons simply did not resist and awaited a verdict.
Several dozens of Lis with either pitchforks or spears then surrounded them.
After that, several strange creatures, presumably their leaders appeared.
"Hm... Say, what are your purposes on coming here? To attack us like on 21 years ago?"
Their chief, the one who stood up from the rest, wearing strange clothing asked with stern yet observant eyes.
"We were just curious about this settlement and it's inhabitants."
The black dragon Sifrit replied in an honest manner, yet the supposed leader stared at him, as if it wasn't the answer he had been seeking.
So, the black dragon sighed.
"... We were looking for the strange Lis known as Lisbeth by the orders of the Dragon King, the strongest dragon in the continent."
He admitted their true intentions, making the supposed Leader think about what Sifrit said. But, if he looked a little more closely, he would've noticed that the leader had twitched his mouth in annoyance.
"I do know who she is."
The leader of this settlement said, gesturing the Lis to release them.
... Or that's what they really thought.
They were instead forced down on the ground, unable to move any part of their bodies except for their eyes and mouth.
"She's one of the Lis who died that time you dragons attacked the Lis Village."
It was at this moment that a small uproar was made, before the leader approached the two dragons and seemingly observed them.
"You'd be staying there for a while; seven days at most, or before I fully decide what to do with you next. Consider this being necessary. If you do force yourselves out of there before that time period, I'll fully consider you as our enemies."
"... We understand."
Then, the leader turned around, before the other Lis proceeded back to what they were doing.
The dragons could only watch at this moment, as their levels will go down to only two digits. They feared that the Dragon King might punish them if they bore of very bad news. However, backing off is considered cowardly and foolish, so they have to send it after a week.
Meanwhile...
'I hated that name, anyways. So I just lied about it. Also, I still have a growing town to manage. Haa~ things might start to get interesting if the appearance of dragons here in Eikoln would be a flag for the future events.'
Kayblis thought, now focusing on doing whatever he needed to do.
For now, he also has to keep a close eye towards the dragons, too.
Being a leader really is slowly becoming harder these days.
