A test can be about physical prowess, intellegence and knowledge of a certain topic or problem solving ability. But what all three have in common is that they need determination and will in order to win.
Aztec 13: She'll be back, some time.
"Alright, Quartz Baron!" Junior started the engagement as he summoned his Quartz Baron and began to charge.
"Ora!" The Quartz Baron threw out a roundhouse at Martin.
"You're wasting your time here, just give up." Martin says. "Blacklite District!"
Blacklite District went on to parry the kick, striking the fist away. It immediately punishes this by a shockwave induced punch to the chest, knocking Junior down.
"Gah!" Junior yelped from the punch, coughing another batch of blood.
Junior stood up and notices Blacklite District jumping up into the sky and falling at him with another attack.
"Damn, this thing's gotten faster." Junior groaned. "I should pick up the pace."
Junior begins growing five crystal blades on his right hand. He turned up and threw the blades at the incoming Stand. The Stand deflects the blades with a shockwave, sending them onto different points of the alleyway.
"Wrrrryyyy!" Martin yelled as Blacklite District goes for an attack.
As Blacklite District drops down, Junior summons the Quartz Baron once again and begins growing crystal blades again on both arms.
"Looks like if it's powerful against close quarters combat, then range what I need!" Junior yelled.
Junior throws the blades again, and the Stand manages to deflect them with another shockwave punch. But this only causes a window of opportunity. The Quartz Baron goes in and lands a powerful roundhouse on Blacklite District. This sends the enemy Stand flying into a brick wall.
"Kuuuhhh!" Martin yelped as the damage was reflected onto him, and he fell to the floor.
Seeing the damage brought on to Martin, Junuor eases up a bit, starting to form a strategy.
"He doesn't have anything to use for range. That's something I can take adventage of." Junior says. "It's time to finish this."
Blacklite District recovers from the blow and immediately charges at Junior.
"One thing I know for sure, he's fighting recklessly. Here goes nothing." Junior says.
Junior rushes at the enemy Stand, ready for another attack. As Blacklite District goes in for another shockwave punch, Junior jumps up, with another crystal shield in the process. The attack hits, and Junior is sent up the area by the shockwave, latching onto a building window with his hand.
"Looks like I have an advantage. I can see Martin from up here." Junior says. "Now, Crystal Rush!"
Junior summons the Quartz Baron, charging up an attack he calls Crystal Rush. The Stand summons a floating ring of 15 crystals around his right arm that begins rotating around the wrist.
"Oh shit!" Martin exclaimed.
Suddenly, the crystals are shot out in rapid succession like an assault rifle, raining down crystals on Martin. Martin jumps behind a dumpster to avoid the attack, and the battlefield is now covered in crystals.
"He managed to jump behind a dumpster and avoided my attacks. I better find a better angle on him." Junior states.
Suddenly, Blacklite District utilises a shockwave to launch itself into the air. It then became level to where Junior is.
"What the?!" Junior exclaimed.
Junior launches himself to another building side with a fast growing crystal, avoiding another shockwave induced punch.
"This is getting a bit too much. It's difficult to move midair. And with this thing's shockwaves, it might be able to maneuver better than me!" Junior says. "I have to take a shot fast."
Blacklite District launches itself at Junior with a shockwave, preparing for another punch.
"Okay, Quartz Baron!" Junior yells.
The Quartz Baron is summoned, and both Stands go in for a punch against each other. In a flash, the two Stands hit each other in their faces, causing both Junior and Blacklite District to fly away from each other. We see Junior crashing down into a fire escape balcony, trying to recover from the blow.
"Dang! That really hurts!" Junior groans a bit from the punch.
Junior gets up and spots Martin behind the dumpster tending to anoter facial injury. Seeing an opportunity for an attack, Junior summons the Quartz Baron and prepares another Crystal Rush attack on both arms.
"Alright, he's cornered. Time to end this struggle." Junior says.
Before the Quartz Baron can attack, Martin notices the attack charging above him.
"Blacklite District! Get him!" Martin yelled.
A shockwave was heard behind Junior. But before he could turn around, Blacklite District tackles him into the air, using the shockwave to boost itself into the air.
"Gah! Shit!" Junior exclaimed.
"You are the one who has contributed to the arrest of Martin." Blacklite District says once more in a monotone voice. "Prepare for the end."
Suddenly, Junior notices that the shockwave tattoos on the Stand's arms are charging up again. To protect himself, Junior summons the Quartz Baron and grabs Blacklite Districts arms.
"Ugh, not gonna happen!" Junior yells in the struggle.
Before the shockwave bursts, Junior encases the arms in crystal, containing the energy of the blast.
"Ora!" The Quartz Baron suddenly does a knee jab into the enemy Stand's chest.
As Martin hunches from the pain, Junior pulls himself free from the hands of Blacklite District while still in the air. As he continues flying, he grows a crystal on a building he's about to hit, and launches himself at Martin, preparing for one final move.
"Time to end this! Crystal Rush!" Junior yells.
In a slow motion scene, the Quartz Baron summons rings of crystals around its arms and shoots them at Martin, quickly encasing him in crystal and leaving his head and both arms exposed as Junior crashes into the cement floor due to his injuries.
"Gah!" Junior begins to cough out more blood.
"Agh! Hey! Get me out of here!" Martin yells as he tries to break himself free from the crystal.
"Agh… hah… man. That was tough." Junior says as he slowly stood up. "Don't think you can convince me into setting you free until the cops come."
"You don't get off the hook that easily, kid. Even if I get arrested, my Blacklite District will always hunt you down. And I am the only one who can stop it." Martin says.
"Ugh, hopefully not as I recover, jeez, my back hurts." Junior groaned.
Suddenly, Blacklite District drops down directly in front of Junior, who is surprised by the fact that it was still here.
"Ha! Did you forget? As long as both of us are still conscious, Blacklite District won't disappear!" Martin yells. "Time to end this!"
Suddenly, as Blacklite District goes in for the finisher, something punches the Stand so hard it flies very far from the two, with Martin also sustaining such an injury.
"Gah! What the fuck?!" Martin exclaims.
"What the?" Junior was also confused by the event.
And just as sudden, Junior begins to glow a golden aura. Then his injuries and cuts begin to fade away and close until the point like nothing happened at all.
"What the? I'm healed?" Junior was confused.
Junior looked behind him and saw Josuke standing next to him, with Crazy Diamond already healing Junior back to full health.
"Hmm, you did pretty well, kid. Your first actual Stand battle and you're still standing." Josuke says. "This alleyway is trashed, but still. You did good."
"What the?!" Martin exclaimed.
"How long have you been standing there?" Junior asked.
"I just got here. Heard the sounds of the battle." Josuke says. "But it looks like I came on time. This guy gave you quite the trouble, eh?"
Josuke begins walking towards Martin, cracking some of his knuckles on the way.
"Hey bub! Don't you know who I am?!" Martin exclaimed.
"Hmm, guessing from the broken handcuffs you got on, I think it's clear that you are a criminal." Josuke says. "And an inexperienced one, I see."
"Don't act so cocky man. Blacklite District!" Martin yells out.
Blacklite District was seen charging at Josuke, when suddenly…
"Dora!" Crazy Diamond is summoned and smashes the Stand's face, almost at the speed of sound.
"Kuuhhh!" Martin exclaims, with the damage now causing him to bleed on his face.
"Now, I'm gonna give you a chance not to get pummeled to dust by my Crazy Diamond." Josuke says. "Kid, remove the crystals."
"Um… okay?" Junior says as he snaps his fingers.
Suddenly, all the crystals in the area disappear, and Martin being set free. Then Josuke grabs Martin by the collar and brings him close as a threat.
"You're gonna get arrested and stay far away from us. I don't care if you stay put or not, you stay away from the kid." Josuke threatens. "Do you understand?"
"Ha! You and your stupid pompadour can wish all you want!" Martin yells.
Josuke falls silent hearing this, and Junior knew what it meant. Having his body freed, Martin immediately goes for a pistol in his pocket to try and shoot Josuke when…
"Dora!" In a flash, Crazy Diamond grabs the gun and punches a hole in Martin's stomach. Blood can be seen from the hole and his mouth.
"Oh shit! You… you punctured him!" Junior exclaims from the horrid sight.
Crazy Diamond pulls his arm out of the hole, and instantly, the hole was patched up like nothing had happened. But something was wrong…
"Shit!" Martin yells as he pulls up his shirt and sees a pistol shape bulge appearing from his stomach. "The gun is… in my stomach?!"
Josuke grabs Martin again and brings him close.
"That will be a taste of what I'm gonna do to you if you target the kid or me." Josuke says. "Get that thing removed from the prison clinic. After a while, the metal in the gun will rust and will begin to poison you."
"Alright! Alright! I won't attack you or the kid! Just let me go!" Martin yelled out in fear.
Josuke lets go of Martin as he crawls away in fear. Junior then walks up to the guy, and was still surprised by what happened.
"So, mind telling me what this was all about?" Josuke asked.
"Oh yeah, right." Junior states. "I'm still stunned by what you did to the guy."
"Oh, that? Man, sorry if I scared you." Josuke states.
"It's fine." Junior states. "So, you want to know what happened?"
After a few minutes of explaining, Josuke now knows the sequence of events that led up to the battle including whatever task Chris has for Junior.
"Ah, I see. So his Stand can create shockwaves, huh?" Josuke asked.
"Yeah, it also tracked be down be cause I contributed to his arrest back at the convenience store." Junior states.
"Ah, okay." Josuke says. "You can go to Oriole Park now. I'll meet you there but I have to repair the damages the shockwaves caused and bring Martin to the police."
We then see Martin cowering behind a trash can.
"Shouldn't I help you?" Junior asked.
"Don't worry, kid. My Crazy Diamond is up to the task." Josuke says. "I'll meet you there. Maybe help out with what Chris is doing."
"Okay then. Thanks for the help, man. See ya." Junior says.
"See ya later too, kid." Josuke says.
As Junior walks off, Josuke sees the cop inside the crashed cruiser is beginning to wake up.
"Oh, great. He's still alive." Josuke says as he turns to Martin. "Time to turn you in now, bud."
Josuke grabs Martin by the collar and drags him to the cruiser as the cop finally comes back to his senses.
"Whoa… what happened?" The cop groans.
"Hey officer." Josuke calls the cop as he drops Martin on the ground. "I found the guy you arrested before. Martin Madrid, right?"
