Prepare For The Stars :

PART ONE

There was one existing tradition within the walls of Kimetsu Academy had since first opening it's doors. That was that everyone from staff to the student body was allowed to wear a costume to school. This time for everybody to go all out and wear usual all the way down to pop culture reference. Gave certain members from the Rengoku household a chance to flex their creativ e drive. Starting with Kyojuro dressing up as a member of police tactical unit of the KimetsuTown Police. Had the little details from white letters of KSWAT to secured radio worn on his left shoulder. Muri was a police rank detective with realistic creditals as she wore a Peak Collar, Double Breasted Blazer, Slit Hem Skirt suit and Round Toe Pumps. Mu and Senjuro wore police uniforms with authenticatic handcuffs.

"This is making it hard for me to even face you." Mu took in Gyomei's buddhist monk costume.

"It can't be that bad..." Gyomei noticed Mu keeping his hands to himself.

"Any romantic notion I had," Mu sighed. "Gone."

On to the corner of Gyomei's desk Mu placed a wax paper wrapped fish shape cake with Mango jam filling. The orange coloring of the dough alone was part of an added treat Muri made last night.

"Then I must inform you," Gyomei stepped toward Mu. "You look VERY distinguished."

They couldn't get any closer then what they were when in walked the first group of costumed students. They made sure to compliment Mu and Gyomei on what they were wearing in their own ways. Got Mu to tip his hat when he noticed the time since he would be working with Kyojuro. This made those girls scream out of sheer excitement before he slipped from the room. Not like he didn't need to stick around to hear what they had to say about Muri's nephew. The rumors were starting around how members of the family alone looked as law enforcement. Put a smile on his face as he traveled throughout the school being aware of the student body. Putting his Parkour skills to work he travels through the stair well to get around people. A few were able to catch him on video with their phone when him passed one of them.

Stopped when he straighten himself out and reached the halfway where the history classrooms were. When he smoothed out his wrinkles with his hands as a chance he got to further observe. Allowed him to step toward the classroom after he adjusted his hat to block line of sight to his face. He made sure to use the proper salute and greeting once he was passing them. Earned him the same screeching reaction as other girls in Gyomei's class room from minutes ago. Stopped once he opened the classroom that belonged to Kyojuro and stepped through.

"Officer is Here!" Another girl startled him.

Before the rest of the classrooms roared with excitement over what they started to dubbed Kyojuro's partner. Mu ended up taking of the situation by channeling his dad's authoritarian personality. Keeping his voice low upon speaking as he kept his face covered with his face. Posture was kept straight the whole time as the rowdy spirits of the students settled down. Allowing Kyojuro to clearly state that Mu would be working with him today before the lesson started. This was how the trend on the local social networks around KimetsuTown started. Locals that were from the area understood what the words meant when asked by non- locals. Informing them didn't bother them when they gave an answer while going through their everyday lives.

One of those people going through her life while on free period was looking over the pictures students took. All of them by members of the student body of her nephews and husband at different angles. Put a smile on her face when she flipped through them as she tapped on her screen. Only saved or faving the ones she liked or wanted to print out for her private use.

"It seems you four have made a splash." Gyomei noticed her smile.

"Kyojuro was the one that wanted to use my idea," She gazed upon Gyomei, "love the look."

"Thanks, but it repealed Mu," Gyomei recalled his reaction, "way he stared at me…"

Seeing the hurt in Gyomei's eyes over his reaction to his costume was heartwrenching. So muri took it upon herself to text Mu and make arrangements with Kyojuro. Somehow had mu in the teacher's office face to-face with her and Gyomei.

"This turns you off?" She pointed out what Gyomei wore.

"God! No!" Mu stepped toward Gyomei, "It's just the costume. It turns me off."

"Really?" Muri asked him.

She walked over toward Mu after leaving her phone on Kyojuro's desk to lean toward his ear and whisper. She kept her voice low enough that Gyomei couldn't hear what she says to her nephew. When Mu's lips slightly formed an O- shape from what she was saying as he looked at Gyomei.

"Understand?" She pulled away while looking at him.

"Yea and you got any proof?" He had to ask.

She ended up retrieving her phone and open the photo gallery a year or two back with a surprise. What he saw was Kyojuro dressed as a Shinto shrine priest with the garb and all the instruments. She stood beside him and found dressed a Shinto shrine maiden in the same gard with a short pair of red hakama.

"WOW!" Mu blinked.

"Kinda acted as an aphrodisiac." She pulled away.

She then placed a kiss on his cheek as her form of wishing him good luck before pulling away.

PART TWO

The tension that was once existed between Gyomei and Mu over his costume was dissolved by Muri. Allowed to wrap an arm around Mu and finally draw him close enough to his for a simple kiss. Not caring about getting caught and being teased by a co-worker for this form of affection. That lasted for five seconds before they disconnected and Mu was kept close to Gyomei.

"Plans tonight?" Mu asked Gyomei

"Have anything in mind?" Gyomei wondered.

"Street Party at Kamado bakery or Halloween events at theme parks." Mu pointed out.

"You already have this night planned." Gyomei had to think.

Mu would come to give him time to think over what he wanted to do with him around the time school ended. He was released from that solid muscle of a chest when the time was noticed from a clock.

"After school?" Mu asked Gyomei.

"You'll have my answer." Gyomei raised his touching palms.

"Check under your desk." Mu winked at him.

When Mu walked out that Gyomei finally noticed the plain paper bag that was tucked away under his desk. He ended up checking like he was supposed to find a heart-shaped pillow in red got him was the words 'yes' or 'no' found printed on either side of the pillow. Note that also came with it was all Gyomei needed to make his choice as he felt his heart flutter. He returned the pillow to it hiding place underneath his desk since he had a class. Making sure to smooth out his costume as he exit the office area with a calming breath as he walked. Not knowing after he walked through the hallways and stairwell back to his classroom.

A new trend was about to spread around the school about a monk and police officer being a couple. New pictures of them hiding out in the teacher's office during an off period spread quickly. From when the two shared a simple kiss to when they just stood face each other in quiet. Made girls unable to stand since their knees gave out upon looking at the photos. Boys in one way or another came to understand the settled romance that could be found between the two. Anyone else was busy thinking of nicknames for the newly established couple.

We're just one of the many names that were made up and spread through the chat logs of countless students. Some liked the first few while others liked the last ones until they all came to a that wouldn't make it to the eyes of the women that came to notice the trend after one of her classes. She answered in her own way about the reveal while feeling left out of the whole thing. Impressed her nephew was always made a trend of his own when she took out her red pen.

"How am I going to break this one to him?" She asked herself.

She tried to hold her phone from different angles to figure out who took the pictures of her nephew with a fellow teacher. To end up recalling for a second or two Mu not being ready to be public. This was going to sour his mood further if a student revealed that he was the latest topic. Away she would put her phone hoping Kyojuro's class wasn't overwhelming Mu with questions. Not knowing as she started to carefully record the grades of her students in her book. Mu would end up sneezing when he was in the middle of picking up the figure-out lesson printouts. Stopping before one girl and noticing what was on her screen as he sniffled some.

"Miss?" He caught her gushing. "Look at that on your own time."

She blinked when she looked up to catch she was being warned by one of the people from the photo. Bite into her lower lip as her whole body trembled at the excitement that was due to be released.

"Miss." He repeated his warning. "Are you listening? Do you want to be held for detention?"

She then turned off her phone before placing it in the side pouch of her backpack with a nod of her head. Knowing that annoying the teaching assistant over a trivial minor was going to take up class time. The fact she had plans with her friends after school was a moment she didn't to miss out on.

"Sorry Mr. Ito," She nods her head, "Will not happen again."

Over to him she hadn't her filled-out printout like everyone before her so he could move on. Deciding to also keep her questions about if he was involved with the civics teacher out loud. Remembering that he wasn't one for public acknowledgment like the other teacher he was working with.

"Alright everyone," Kyojuro addressed his class. "Textbook out and turn to the page written on the board."

Mu was able to place the filled-out printouts in a folder that Kyojuro used for his students on his desk.

"I hear you have plans tonight?" Kyojuro asked Mu.

"If he agrees to do," Mu crossed his arms and turned his back to the students. "I just may end up babysitting your brat."

"Either way," Kyojuro offered. "You can always hang with me at a restaurant I plan to take your aunt to?"

"Your know that's unlucky," Mu reminds him. "Four people attending an event on a day like this."

They would have gone on with their conversation chatting among two students about what Hashtag_SWATRengokuandofficerITO. Didn't get Mu to sigh as Kyojuro handle the students as he took a break.

PART THREE

Gyomei came out with a third choice for them, which came in the form of bringing Mu to the Ubuyashiki temple. Wanting him to meet the monks and nuns that raised him since he was an orphan. Something Mu didn't see coming when he was only given a chance to out of his costume at home, and barely out the door.

"Are you sure about this?" Mu asked him quite nervous. "I mean..."

"Yes, since you introduce me to your sister's family." Gyomei took his hand with his own.

"I not the really religious type." Mu was feeling overwhelmed.

Just getting Mu to breathe as he adjusted his hold on the strap of his overnight bag he was asked to pack. Had him recalling his father's teachings about his father's teaching on proper airflow. He took it in before carefully handing his bag over to Gyomei so he could handle the other bag.

"You ok in there Kyuu?" He looked at his sister's cat.

Gyomei didn't object to their guest since he was coming to like having Kyuu around when with Mu. He ended up allowing Mu to hold the cat backpack carrier with a window as they walked. Giving Kyuu a view of the lively places they would pass after getting off the station with others. The buildings that passed them when corners were turned and sidewalks were walked on. Made a repeated sound of footsteps on pavement walkways that Kyuu accepted as he sat; within his plastic bubble with little interest.

"You ever thought about getting Kyuu a friend?" Gyomei wondered if Kyuu was lonely.

"My aunt and aunt-in-law were talking about that," Mu recalled. "Shinjuro was against it."

Gyomei ended up looking back at Kyuu within the plastic bubble when they stopped at a few crosswalks. Be stared at by those red eyes and reminded of a certain history teacher back at Kimetsu Academy. Had him recalling news given to him by old of elder monks of where they were heading.

"I think I know where we can get him a friend." An answer was given.

"Um..." Mu didn't know how to reply.

He was soon tongue-tied when at the top step of the temple they were greeted by a long hair tabby. Her fur was a blend of dark black with purple highlights and a single ribbon collar around her neck. Her eyes were the color of moonlight as they stared at them from her perch on the step.

"Monks what her to have a proper home," Gyomei explained to Mu.

"Were you planning this?" Mu asked Gyomei.

"Consinder her my treat for you." Gyomei corrected him.

"More like a trick." Mu figure Kyuu was going to like her.
