Kazuto pov:
He was falling from high above a city of sorts. The wind rushed through his hair as he did. But suddenly a portal of sorts appeared below him , it had a light blue outline and a void like center of darkness. He fell through it and hit the ground immediately, falling on 'soft' grassy ground. He groaned a bit after he was winded by the fall. He got up and looked around, finding himself in a forest of sorts. He breathed in and smelled the various plants around him, including the grass he fell on. It was dark outside so his range of vision wasn't very far, the trees added to it as they blocked out most of the moon light. Then behind him, a faint blue glow appeared and he turned around to see who or what it was. He saw the slayer in all his wrathful glory, he couldn't help but shiver a bit due to the dark aura around him. Even though Kazuto knew the slayer wasn't aggressive or show the need to kill him, he still felt a bit terrified of him.
"I have briefed the slayer of the current situation between you and Asuna. He is willing to help you free Asuna from this world of games." Vega informed.
Kazuto was relieved that the slayer was on his side, although he always has been. He didn't know why the doom marine was so 'fond' of him but it's better than being ripped in half. He looked around and saw a giant tree a far ways away. He stared at it for a bit but then opened his settings, he was confused at first why it wasn't opening so he used his other hand. It worked and he went to settings to check on the log out button and was relieved it was there. He then checked his inventory and saw nothing but question marks. He got worried and scrolled through it. He scrolled until he saw the name 'yui'. He sighed in relief and took it out of his inventory. It was a shiny gem, hovering in his hand, he touched it and a blinding light filled his eyes.
Slayer pov:
He was staring at Kazuto in confusion as he saw him get worried at something, scrolling through something with nothing but question marks. Then he saw him get relieved when he saw something called 'yui', he took it out and saw it was a very shiny gem and he touched it. A blinding light then filled his lens, but thankfully it dimmed to the brightness and soon saw a little girl hovering in the air.
"Yui, do you remember me?" Kazuto asked.
In response, this 'yui' answered, "yes, I do, I remember you daddy" she said with teary eyes.
/scanning new life form, scan completed, it's a sentient AI it appears.../ Vega said to the hell walker.
He was surprised by this and stared at the two's reunion. After their little reunion, Yui looked over at the slayer and was surprised a bit, seeing a man in green armor and covered in some blood.
"D-daddy, who is that?" She asked as she got behind her supposed 'father'.
"Don't worry, he's on our side, he's helping me save Asuna" he said to reassure the little girl.
The little girl calms down a bit and came out of hiding reluctantly. Kazuto continued looking through his inventory, sad his stuff wasn't there.
"You should probably delete your inventory before the error detection program finds out about it" Yui said as Kazuto agreed.
He tapped the 'delete all button' and slowly pressed it, now sad they were now gone for good. The slayer only stared at them, the tint of the lenses obscuring their vision of his face. Everyone felt uneasy around him, especially Yui.
"Wait...what does the game read you as Yui?" Kazuto suddenly asked.
"Hmm, let's see" she says as she holds her fingers on her head. "It says I'm a player support item, and that I'm a navigation fairy" she finished as another blinding light enveloped her.
"Hey!" Kazuto exclaimed as he covered his eyes once again.
When the light faded, Yui was in a pink dress and had wings on her back. She was also much smaller. The slayer didn't get fazed as he stared in his silent ways. 'Really, a game with fairies?' He asked in his mind. After a bit, Kazuto explained what was going on and why he was in the game, saying that Asuna was trapped at the top of the giant tree.
"Really, mommy's there?" Yui asked and Kirito nodded.
/should I send your famous message in the game, when you first appeared on earth and killed the first hell priest?/ Vega asked.
The slayer thought for a bit and nodded. With that, the stars went out in the night sky, making the sky completely dark. Kazuto and Yui looked up at the sky, wondering what was happening.
"H-how? This isn't part of the game. I'm reading that some outside source is tampering with the game." Yui said.
"It is me who is tampering with the game young Yui, I am sending a message to all of Alfhiem that he is here" Vega replied.
Yui was surprised, not by the answer but of Vega, seeing how he's also an AI. But then something got her attention in the darkened sky, a strange red symbol lighting up in the abysmal sky.
"Against all the evil that hell can conjure, all the wickedness that mankind can produce. We will send unto them...only you, rip and tear...until it is done" a strange voice said coming from everywhere and nowhere.
This shook everyone's spine at the what the deep voice said. This only brung flashbacks to Kazuto when he was in SAO.
Sugou pov:
He was in the bird cage with Asuna, trying to make her love him. He took a lock of her hair and sniffed it.
"Mm, you smell so good Asuna, you don't realize how hard it was to replicate the smell of your hair from the real world" Sugou said, creeping Asuna out.
Asuna growled but knew not to hit him as when she does, Sugou only inflicts unbearable pain into her. He was busy smelling her hair until the sky darkened even more. He looked outside in confusion and saw the sky was nothing but black.
"Damn, I'm gonna have to fix that glitch" he said in slight irritation.
But then a red symbol formed in the sky, looking very menacing.
"What the-" before he could finish, a deep booming voice spoke up.
"Against all the evil that hell can conjure, all the wickedness that mankind can produce. We will send unto them...only you, rip and tear...until it is done"
He stared in slight confusion and fear. He looked over and saw Asuna was scared, she knew something about this...
"What is the meaning of that symbol Asuna, I know that you know something" he demanded.
"H-he's here, the Doom slayer is here..." she replied quietly.
"Doom slayer huh?" And smirk fell upon his face. "Well, I'll make short work of this 'doom slayer' as you call him, he will regret messing up my game" he said as he walked away.
Kazuto pov:
He sat on a tree log and thought for a moment.
"Oh wait, Vega, why was I teleported here instead of in the town?" He asked.
"Because we can't risk Sugou knowing you are in the game yet, it could potentially ruin our opportunity at saving Asuna" Vega answered.
He nodded in response as he looked at the world tree as it was called. 'If only I was a bit closer' he thought.
And as if reading his mind, Yui chimed in," Daddy, you should try using your wings, it can make travel much faster. Just lift your left hand and and act like your grabbing something to access the controller."
Kazuto did so as a controller appeared in his hand. Yui briefed him on how to use them. He had a bit of trouble at first but easily got used to it. He looked down and saw the slayer watch him as he flew some loops. He landed back down on the ground and asked Yui where the nearest town was.
"there's one in the silf territory, just west of here, it's called sulvane" she chimed. "Wait, there's-" but was interrupted by Vega.
"Multiple players detected in area, two are being chased by hostiles" Vega said.
Yui only huffed at being interrupted by Vega, getting a smile from Kazuto who thought it was cute. But the doom marine paid no mind as he got out his heavy cannon with the sniper mod attached.
"Implementing Wintherin now" Vega said as the iconic blue portal appeared in the sky.
Out came a dragon that flew past Kazuto and Yui and landed next to the slayer. The slayer hopped right on and it took off, Kazuto following soon after.
Leafa pov:
She was currently fighting these men in red, trying to survive(even though she doesn't have to worry about dying in the real world). Her friend was hit with a fireball and killed by the guy he was fighting who died right after. As she was distracted, she too was hit with a fireball and fell to the ground. She landed on the ground but immediately got back up as the people she was trying to get away from hovered just above ground, cornering her into a tree.
"Listen lady, we're on a mission and we'll let you go once you give us some of your valuables" the middle man said.
"Why are you being so easy on her, it's been a while since we fought a chick so let's waste her!" Another one said.
Leafa didn't take it too well and gritted her teeth a bit.
"You can try but I'm taking one of you with me!" She said, ready and in a battle stance.
They all backed up, ready to impale her with their lances but then a boy wearing all black fell face first in the ground next to them. They all looked at him in confusion but told him to back off, with that he just made a smug remark. One got angry and was about to kill him until a green blur fell upon him, but was obscured by the dust in the air it made on impact. The dust soon cleared showing a man clad in green amor, glaring at them with a single red glowing eye, intimidating them as he did.
