"Where am I? Am I dead?"

(No one responds to his question)

"Hmph. I guess I'm already dead... again!!"

(Kurama walks onto the path of nothingness)

"I guess this body of mine is too fragile in the second world... Heh. Pathetic weak version of me..."

"No, you're not weak!"

"Wait! Who said that?"

(All he hears, are just a breezing wind. He follows the flow of the wind and treats it as his guidance.)

"*Chuckles* Come closer, nine-tailed demon beast..."

"I am not in the mood of playing games. Do you hear me?"

"Fine then... Just go to the dot of light and then we'll talk."

(Looks around his surroundings but there are no signs of light. Hence, he only sees darkness.)

"But how can I find that light? This place has no signs any of it."

"See, this is one of your problems. Your arrogance keeps you from doing your task. Now, I want you to find it. Even though you cannot see it, maybe you should use your senses other that just your eyes."

"*Growl* Whatever! I'm dead again, anyway."

(Kurama twitching his ears in order to detect a strange sound)

"I... I hear something... *Twitching his ears* Yes... I hear it."

"Good one! What did you exactly heard?"

"I hear voices... Those voices are begging for something... Although not for saving them... but to make me come back to my consciousness..."

"Yes! Yes! Follow it!"

Kurama follows the voices that encourages him to go near. Kurama finally arrives at the source.*

"*Sigh* I hear them commending my arrival. But I cannot see the dot."

"Just use your other senses."

"Fine... If this is really for fun, I despise you for that."

A scent has entering through the fox's two nostrils*

Kurama closes his eyes*

"*Sniff* Ah. I can sense something soothing from here. I must follow *Sniff*"

(Kurama follows the scent. Strangely, the scent reveals the hidden trail. The hidden trail only reveals as long as Kurama smells the scent progressively.)

Kurama arrives at the end of the scent*

"*Sniffs* Ah. *Opens eyes* That scent is really fragrant."

"Excellent!"

"Now, tell me! Where is the dot of light of yours that you are talking about?"

"You are already standing in it. Look at your chest."

Kurama looks down to his chest*

"*Kurama's eyes narrow* Hmmmm... (I am not familiar with this light... Nonetheless, it tingles my energy...)"

"*Chuckling* There you go, Kurama. You have arrived on what you're aiming for!"

"Heheheh... Good!! Now, tell me! Who are you? What do you want with me?"

"I'm sorry, Kurama. But I cannot tell your my identity in here... However, you do realize now why you are in that world?"

"*Kurama picking his ear* You what?!"

"Ugh... again... Your arrogance really annoys me.."

"I am not going to listen from you because you aren't answering my question properly."

"As you wish..."

"Now, answer me!"

"I can only give you a hint... I come from Naruto's world just like you..."

"Hmph... Whatever! I never like that world anyway!"

"You didn't let me finish my statement! (On the bright side, this arrogant fox doesn't want to listen my answer, anyway. *Giggling*)"

"Why I hear you giggling?!"

"Oh, it's nothing. I just remember something back then."

"*Sigh* Can we move on to the next discussion?"

"Of course! I'm glad, too."

"What is this dot of light do in my chest?"

"Actually, that is your life force. You and that thing have separated because you have been severely wounded. I am horrified seeing you bleed in your concious state."

"Oh yeah, I remember. (Heh. I fight that so called foreign entity.) I remember fighting with that entity who said to me something."

"(Hmmm... So, the entity have finally found Kurama first before the fox.) What does the entity look like?"

"I don't know... I can only recall that the entity has possesssed someone in order to fight me, as a powerless normal fox with unusually nine-tails."

"I see... Anyway, the jig is almost up! Your physical body is waking you up."

"How can I wake up? I am severely wounded, remember?"

"Actually, there is someone, who has treated your injuries immediately."

"Grrr... *Closes his eyes briefly* Very well... Can we have another talk in the future?"

"If necessary, then yes I can. But for now, you should thank to the one who save you from your death. Farewell, for now..."

"*Nods*Grins*"

The dot of light on the fox's chest shines brightly as the void of darkness has been flooded by it. Kurama closes his eyes as he is about to wake up*

Light flashes*

Back to his physical state*

Changing the scene to Kurama's point of view but in black screen*

"...I hope that fox is alive."

"Don't worry. I'm sure that creature is okay."

"I'm going to leave you and that fox from here for now. Our scout leader is calling me."

"Alright, Make sure you keep your head up when greeting him."

"Thank you..."

Person finally leaves*

"Wake up... Wake up, foxy... wake up", someone was waking the unconcious fox up.

The fox is about to open his eyes upon hearing the person's call. Though his vision are currently blurry, he can sense someone is watching him. He is regaining his consciousness.

"...Ah. You have finally waken up, fox. I'm glad you are alive.", a teenage boy stood before him.

The fox looks around the place. Aside from the boy, there are equipments and kits which he barely knows little of it. He is currently laying down on his bed. He moves his muscle just to go up from what he has laid down. Yet, he bellows deeply as he can feel the pain for getting himself up.

"Oh no no no... Stop! You can't do that! You need to take some rest! You are badly injured!", the teenage boy utterly worried about the fox upon standing up from the bed.

Changing the scene to the two*

The fox lifts his ears upon hearing the caring statement from the boy. He (read: Kurama) suddenly stops moving as if he has understood about what he (read: the boy) has said to him. He looks down his body. There are gauzes wrapped up on his abdomen. The gauze has a mark of blood which leaves some mark from his wound. He can feel his hip hurting from his innards. He gazes at the boy for curiousity.

"Don't worry, fox! We have pulled out the bullet from your body earlier. I do hope you are not severely in pain, anymore.", the boy conversed the fox.

The fox vows in front of the boy. Perhaps he is commending about the hospitable act from him and his brethren. His tails are wagging that he shows his gratitude towards the person. Additionally, he smiles at him (read: the boy) one more time.

"You're welcome, fox! It is our duty to save animals who are in need.", he told his own mission.

Instead of laying himself on his bed, the fox has sat in front of the boy. His eyes beg for something. Unbeknownst to the boy, he does need to be on his way out from his confinement. For a moment, he remembers something vital to his own journey. Something that he must not lose it. His smiling face has turned itself into more serious face.

"Mmmfff? *Sniffs around*His ears have stood up*Barks* (By the way kid, where is my bindle? I need that thing on my hand.)", the fox asked the boy about his own possession.

But because of his inability to speak in human language, the boy isn't fluent enough about his heed. The boy scratches his head upon figuring out what the fox is currently telling to him. He approaches closer to the fox and pats him for a reason.

"Shhh... *The boy puts his pointer finger onto the fox's philtrum.* Settle down, fox. You are safe. I know you want to let yourself go but do you want to go out with that condition?", the boy instead wondered about the fox's curious.

The fox is getting annoyed on the boy's naivity. His face has made him frown more as he is expressing his own dismay towards the one who is currently on duty for his care.

"*Growl* (Look pal, I don't want any trouble but... where is my bindle?)", the fox furiously warned the boy.

He sharpens his nose upon sensing that his thing must be somewhere within the facility. The boy is still thinking of what fox is trying to warn him. The fox continues to sense the bindle so it may give some hint for the boy on what he is looking for.

Kurama finally spot the bindle*

"*Sniffing* Ah. *Stands up and points his snout* *Growl* (Just look what I am aiming for kid!)", he guided the boy.

Luckily, the boy realizes that the fox is just giving him on what he is looking for. The boy follows the fox's snout and he traces it. Thus, he has been given a direction by the animal.

"Ah. I get it. So you are just wanting your own bindle to have it back to you, I see? I atone for being naive, fox. I'm sorry.", the boy showed his own shameful act.

"*Grins*Growl*Bark* (Heh. Good job, kid. Now, hand it over to me!)", the fox wagged his tails, waiting for his retrieval by his guardian.

The boy picks up the bindle and puts it down on the bed beside the fox. The fox, then, opens up the bindle in order to check whether his things are still intact or not.

"*Sniffs*Looks at the boy and barks* (Hey! There is one thing missing in here!)", he scolded the teenager that the containment of his bindle were incomplete.

The bindle contains a notebook, a pen and a can of processed meat. It is supposed to have four things needed for the fox. However, there is one more missing which is the most vital thing for the fox. That thing is the only item which it is the key for him to discover.

"What is it, my friend? I don't know anything about your stuff. I am just here taking care of you.", the boy didn't know about the thing.

"*Growl*Exhales briefly* (If you're not the one, then call the person who have check my bindle. I need that missing item!)", the fox gazed furiously at the boy.

His eyes have turned red upon showing his seriousness. The boy honestly feels afraid of the fox's expression. He goes out of the confinement just to let himself know about the missing item.

"I'll be right back, fox. Please, calm yourself. Your eyes are frightening me. I don't want any trouble.", the boy hoped for his repent to be accepted by the fox.

The boy has finally gone out of the confinement*

"*Blows sudden wind out from his nostrils* Hmph... *Growl* (You better find that person! I'm warning you!)", the fox had taken the situation.

Eventually, the fox looks at his own limbs as he notices that something is binding on the affected part. There are body tubes connected to him. Not only his limbs are binded by it but also his legs. The fox wonders himself.

"*Tries to pull out the tube from his arm*Growl*Bellows* (I must remove these things. Yawwwchh!!! That hurt!)", the fox felt agony upon trying to remove those tubes.

The fox realizes that he cannot go out of his bed because of the body tube connected to his body. The only he can do is just looking at the tubes carrying the nutrients into his body so that it can help him maintain sustainability in his condition. Additionally, he can see his blood being circulated through to it.

The fox lays down on his bed after he feels boredom from watching his own tube*

"*Yawn*Growls*(...I have nothing to do but to wait.)", the fox looked up to the ceiling.

He recalls himself about the recent dream he has recently experienced. A voice, in that dream, has said to him that its true identity comes from to his former world. The fox closes his eyes, just to call out from his mind.

"*Inhales*Growl*Sigh*Bark*(I only remember those who have used me as a tool for war, except for Naruto. And I also remember my last jinchuriki's (Naruto) encounters with, and against him. *Sigh* Strangely, that voice sounds familiar. Still, I can't remember to whom it belongs. Maybe Naruto has recently met with that person.)", the fox was deeply thinking about his own intuition.

Because of the fox's critical thinking, his own body begs for him to finally sleep. His animalistic voice begins to collapse as if his throat needs to pause from his monologue. His nose involuntarily inhales more air in order to force the fox to stop thinking about his dream. His mouth forces him to yawn himself.

"*Yawn*Growl* (I...am...tired... zzz... zzz... zz...)", the fox had given up his own thinking and he had finally slept.

Changes the scene to the teenage boy*

On the other hand, the boy is figuring out who is currently carrying the missing item from the fox's bindle. Unfortunately for him, all other structures have already closed. Thus, the boy is unable to ask the rest of his fellow comrades. In other words, the comrades have finally taken into deep slumber.

"It looks I have to ask them by tomorrow morning. I'm sure the fox is also resting himself, now. It's getting too late. *Yawn*", the boy went back to his own structure.

He goes back to the triangular structure (read: Kurama's descriptive term), or a tent. Then, the boy checks whether the fox is asleep.

"(I apologize, fox. My fellow scouters have already fallen to their slumber. I, too, am going to rest with you in here. Perhaps *Yawn* I am resuming my own duties for you about that missing item in your bindle. Good night...)", the boy's had gone down onto the fox's matress as he began sleeping.

Few hours later*

A strange light is emitting out from one of the tents. It slowly becomes stronger the longer the light continuously emits. Because of that situation, it actually shines rays through the ceiling. The rays are causing to rip off the fabric from the tent that it actually creates a hole on the structure.

Change the scene to the inner chamber of the affected tent*

Somehow, one of the two scouters has actually waken up because something is making strange noise. The noise sounds like the soothing bell that some people, especially those who have difficulties in their sleeping habit, are relaxed that they can sometimes ignore on what they must do. However, the one, who is awaken, continues to pursue the source.

Scouter finally sees the source*

"*Gasp* (No way! That can be...)", the scout felt shocked of what he had figured out.

Suddenly, the light redirects its shining ray onto the scouter. The scouter screams as it has felt too much brightness in his eyes that he has been almost blinded by its luminosity. The sound of his scream has been absorbed by the source so it doesn't want to wake nearby people up. Strange, the light doesn't make the "victim" blind permanently but something else is affecting him instead.

Light flashes then going off-screen*

"*Opens eyes* *Look at his hand* *Sigh* What happen?! *Looks at the time* Oh... It's still dusk. I guess I must have bad dreams. *Yawn* I guess I need to resume my sleep. zzz... zz...", the boy realized he was just having nightmares and he finally fell asleep.

By looking up to the ceiling of the affected tent, there are no signs of light shining throughout the tent. However, the hole still persists as if the event has already happened. Perhaps the source of light manipulates the memory of the affected scouter. Additionally, not even other scouters have ever heard of such strange phenomenon.

Next day very early in the morning*

Changing the scene to Kurama's inner maw*

"*Yawn* Ah. *Changing the scene to his face* Tsk Tsk Tsk. *Opens eyes and looks at the boy* *Growls happily* (Ah. What a glorious slumber I had last night. *Looks at the boy* Heheheh. This boy makes me glad to see myself happy in this morning.", the fox woke himself well.

Changing the scene to the fox*

The fox rises sooner than the boy. He is glad that no one has utterly harmed him nor his guardian. Even though he is mocking his guardian for dozing off from his duty, he still insists that the boy has priotized spectating him over anything else. Hence, the fox appreciates the generosity of his caretaker.

"Hmm. *Puts his fingers onto his chin* *Barks softly* (I wonder if the boy has had my "stone". I hope he claims it from his comrades.)", the fox was waiting for the boy to wake up.

He carefully moves himself from his mattress. But before that, he looks at his body tubes if the things are capable of extending its length. Unfortunately for the fox, the tubes are somewhat limited even though those can be strectched that the fox, himself has recently tested it.

"*Growls* (Grrr... Lousy low-quality body tubes.l! I better hope his team is able to come up with their equipments in here!)", the fox was furiously annoyed.

Yawning*

Eventually, the fox can hear the sound of his own caregiver. Instead of waiting his companion with smiling face, the fox puts his pouting face in front of him in annoyance.

"*Yawn* Ah. What a beautiful day to go outside, isn't it?", the boy had gone up to see beautiful sunshine rays shining onto the two.

As soon as the boy turns his head onto the pouting fox, he wonders why the fox is not having such good wake. The boy is thinking about the fox's annoyance and he is figuring out the reason of the situation.

"(I hope he doesn't remember that I haven't retrieved that missing item yet.) What's wrong, my patient? Have you gotten enough sleep?", the boy was worried about the fox.

The fox crosses his arm in front of him. Instead of the boy being threatened by the fox's posture, he is astonished that he praises the fox for being capable of imitating such human behavior.

"Hmm? *Growl* (What the... Why is this boy, not being ashamed of himself?)", the fox widely opened his eyes in shock.

Though the boy realizes, there are some problems for the fox that needs to resolve as soon as possible. The fox points his paws onto the not-so-lengthy tubes which make him feel entangled by it. The boy examines the thing for inspection.

Teenage boy examining the tube*

"Oh... So those tubes are making you suffer, aren't that right, my patient?", the boy asked directly to the fox.

The fox immediately confirms on the boy's analysis by nodding his head. In order to lessen the pain for the fox, he carefully place the bag, which it connects to the tube that enables the chemicals go into the body of the fox, down to the level of the head of the fox. He adjusts the pole just to support the bag from sudden fall.

Boy has done placing and pats the fox*

"There you go, foxy. You can, at least, stretch your body significantly further.", the boy expanded the limited tubes.

"*Growl*Bark* (Don't call me foxy, you overprotective boy! I have my name, you know! I suppose I am glad that I am able to move myself from this mattress. Heh.)", he did, however, commended about the boy's loyalty to him

Because of enough time that the two have progressively met, the boy asks himself what name might be suitable for the nine-tailed fox (read: demon beast fox). Unbeknownst to the boy, the fox is able to read his thought by looking carefully at the boy's lips.

"*Silent growl*Grins* (Hmph... I hope you know my name now! Among the nine creatures, I am the most powerful demon beast that my father has ever created. I am KURAMA!!! *Grins*)", he had secretly self-proclaimed himself.

Meanwhile, the boy stands up and walks in circles in front of the fox, just so he can appropiately think about naming the fox. Even though the fox is confused about the teenage boy's current action, he is quite amused of it.

Boy walking in circles*

"Now, what name do I have to call you...? Hmmm... Let's see... *Looks at the fox's nine-tail*", the boy was being descriptive on the fox tail in which it probably made his thought to be easy.

"Ah. I know! How about I would name you... Shipukyu? How's that sound?", the boy gently asked if the fox was satisfied about it.

Unfortunately for the fox, he shakes his head that he denies the name which has been given by his caretaker. The fox, instead, barks as he is not happy about it. Meanwhile, the boy goes back walking in circles once more so he can think names other than the first one.

Boys walks in circles again*

"Hmmm... Now what to name him this time? I'm most assured that Shipukyu is definitely off the list now that this fox has denied it. Let's see now... *Looks at the animal's orangish body with nine tails (again...)* Ahh! How about Kyudairu?", the teenager suggested other name.

"*Growls furiously*Barks loudly*(Look pal, I am Kurama! KU-RA-MA!!!! You idiot!)", the fox was getting more furious with such nonsense names given by the teenage boy.

The boy gets closer to the fox in order to see if there are other things that are deemed unique. He is about to inspect on some parts of the fox's body that are different from the other animals.

Boy touches the fox's furs but the fox has made distance as he is getting annoyed*

"*Shows his sharp jaws*Growling menacingly* (DON'T TOUCH ME AGAIN, KID!! I'LL BITE YOU THIS TIME unless you have correctly called my name!)", the fox threatened the kid not to physically contact with him.

The boy notices that the fox's eyes are glowing red. He is quite frigthened that he has changed his mind. Hence, he has stopped himself from touching the fox's body in order to prevent sudden irritation, or otherwise the fox is certainly going to bite him merciless. In other words, he distances himself in order to give some space for the fox. While moving away from the animal, the teenage boy reminds himself about his own past. It is because the glowing reddish eyes from the fox have given him hints on something.

"(Hmm... I could have swore I remembered something back. I had worn those lens that had the same color just like him.) Oh, right. I remembered back when I wanted to be a ninja when I was a child.", the boy was now looking for opportunity to find proper name.

This time, the boy is critically thinking about names based on themes that are related to ninjas. The fox slightly calms down a bit when he recently hears that word. It reminds him of his former past that he can never forget. Though the fox despises his past, he still considers it temporarily in order to give the boy a chance to name him properly, or maybe just figuring out the correct name for him.

"Hmph... *Silently growl* (Go on, boy. You can do it... You're almost there. Just tell me Kurama and I'll do favors for you.)", the fox sat back on the mattress.

Once again, the boy gazes at the fox eagerly but he certainly gives the fox a space as he is already scolded by the animal. The boy looks at the snout of the fox upon seeing it way too sharp for the usual fox. Additionally, two fangs have exposed from the fox's mouth. It may be frightening to look at but the boy is already brave enough to interact with the unique fox, anyway.

Boy looking at the fox's long sharp snout carefully*

"Hmmm... I atone myself to tell you that you kinda look like a tengu. Tengus are usually have long nose. They can fly whatever they want and they have some frightening personality. They are usually aggressive especially when they are in sky, boasting other creatures. Nevertheless, they are one of the demons that are usually mentioned throughout this province. Their king lives in Mount Kurama, according to the mythology.

Looks at the fox's face.*

Giggles* Now I know you can't fly as a fox. I also assure that you don't like the name Tengukyu, do you?

The fox shooks his head*

However, I am going to finalize the name for you whether you like it or not. I am now calling you Kyurama. I have combined that name from two meanings: one is that you have nine-tails, and two has referred to the residing place of the tengu king according to the legend. Hmm... Or maybe, just Kurama for better syllables. How's that sound, Kurama?", the boy finally called the name for the fox.

"*Bark*Bark*Panting and Tails wagging* (Finally! I have been waiting for someone to call my name! Heheheh. I am glad that you figure it out, teenage boy.)", the fox felt happy.

The boy calls the fox's name in order for the fox to recognize. However, the fox, despite he already knows his name, responds to his caretaker eagerly. He begs his caretaker to release him from his confinement just to see the outside. He barks loudly so the caretaker can hear of his cry.

Kurama barks*

"Well if you want to go out from your bed, I am most welcome.", the caretaker actually agreed the fox's plead.

Though the boy hasn't understood of what the fox says, he lifts the fox up from his bed. He picks up the nutrient pouch and carefully places it onto another pole. The pole is currently supported by the wheelchair. The boy decides to unmount the fox onto the wheelchair so the fox can have his seat and can easily be carried by him. He gives the fox a cane which it might help the animal move the wheelchair all by himself, if there are any instances that the boy is temporarily unable to do it for him (Kurama). He adjusts Kurama's body tubes in order to fit in within the chair. Despite the fox can feel such pain from his body because of the tubes, he remains to be stoic, just to move himself away from his confinement.

Kurama gnashing his teeth as his body tubes are being moved*

"*Growl* (Hurry it up, kid! I can't endure myself much longer.)", Kurama dropped a sweat from his nose.

The boy has finished adjusting the tubes properly. He looks upon the pouch dropping down the nutrients that flow inward Kurama's body. Kurama, on the other hand, has stopped moaning by the time he leans himself within the wheelchair. Hence, Kurama has finally relieved from the pain.

"*Yawn*Barks*Growl* (Now get going, boy! You're going to leash me... while I'm sitting in this comfy chair *Chuckles*)", Kurama's patience was getting thinner.

Before the two go on a leash, the boy has opened the tent flap. A ray of sunshine has shined the chamber gloriously. The heat, which comes from ray, makes Kurama motivated to go out as he can feel the intense energy from it. On the other side, the boy feels energetic that he does want to go out with his patient, Kurama.

"Let's go, Kurama! This morning will be good upon us.", the boy pushed the wheelchair out from tbe tent.

The two finally goes out from the tent*

Outside, the two go for a walk nearby the lakeshore. But before that, the boy closes the tent flap just to secure all things laid inside the tent. The boy walks quickly onto the desired spot, just to make Kurama alive by the time they have gone up to the lakeshore. Kurama can feel the breeze of air blowing his furs smoothly the closer the two of them going on the lakeshore.

Boy is slowing down himself by the time he has approached onto the lakeshore*

"*Sniffs* Ah. *Barks happily*Looks at the boy*Barks* (Finally! I can finally breath air from here better than the confinement. *Looks at the boy* Well, what are you waiting for?! Let's go and have a long walk, shall we?)", Kurama was being serious about the situation that he could feel himself determined.

The boy glads that his patient has enjoyed spending his time with him outside. He can hear the fox's barks that the animal is certainly wanting to roam more about the area where the campers have already established their temporary settlement. However, the boy decides to walk around the lakeshore instead of roaming around those triangular structures (read: Kurama's term), or just tents, surrounding the campfire which Kurama has been caught by his own attention.

"Perhaps we should take significant walk along the lakeshore. I need to see how scenic this area is.", the boy told the fox.

"*Barks*Tails wagging* (Alright, kid! That's better idea than just meeting with your fellow people.)", Kurama surprising agreed to the boy suggestion.

The two have continued leashing themselves away, but not too distant, from the camp. As the two walk along the lakeshore, they see a flock of geese, all are swimming in the lake, that they are astonished of those animals' activities.

"*Barks* (Awww. Those birds are beautiful. This is the first time I see those kind of birds which they don't exist in my former world.)", Kurama was shocked upon seeing some birds that were foreign to his existence.

"*Chuckles* Those are geese, my patient. They are hunting fishes for their food. That is why they are swimming. Additionally, they can eat bird seeds if we give them. Unfortunately, I haven't brought it.", the boy explained briefly about the geese.

Even though Kurama may look himself not listening to the boy, he still understands of his caretaker's explanation because he can fully see what the birds are currently doing. The fox already knows the situation before his caretaker has explained to him, thanks to his great sense of intuition.

"*Barks* (We should proceed to the other areas, kid! I'm already done seeing them even though they genuinely catch my attention.)", Kurama eagerly wanted to go into other areas.

Before they proceed walking, the boy inspects the wheelchair whether it is capable enough to use for leashing. He doesn't want to tell Kurama that his wheelchair has issues such as the wheels are sometimes making strange sounds that might harm on some species nearby. However, Kurama has already known the issue even though he doesn't mind about the strange sound.

"*Growl*Bark* (Just move on, kid! I don't care if this wheelchair of yours is broken. I want to see more areas in here!)", Kurama encouraged the boy not to be worried about it.

The boy briefly examines the wheel before they proceed themselves on to the next area.

Boy has done fixing the wheels*

"Alright, let's go!", the boy had finally moved out from the spot where the flock was hunting.

While leashing, the fox stands up on his chair and he lifts his ears up in order to feel the breezing air once more as he certainly enjoys its freshness. The boy also enjoys himself walking with his patient as he has seen that the fox is quite happy while walking along the lakeshore.

Boy stops for a moment and he notices something in the area*

"That's strange. I've never seen those trees being timbered down before. I'm assured that there aren't any wild beast behind and no one wants to go in that area.", the boy was wondering about something.

The boy honestly horrifies of what he has seen. There are group trees which are already cut down. Strangely, the trees do not have any signs that are being timbered down by any tools suitable for its function. Additionally, all the remains have left in perfect bark shape which are nighly impossible for a human to cut in unrealistic style unless, of course, someone is definitely capable of doing so. However, it requires pure precision, accuracy and extraordinary cutting skills in order to work with that extreme job.

The boy leaves the wheelchair briefly and examines one of timbered trees*

"Hmmm... Maybe I should take a closer look.", the boy walked towards of what he wanted to investigate.

Changes the scene to Kurama*

Meanwhile, Kurama lifts his ears upon hearing his caretaker to inspect something in the area where they are currently standing. He sniffs the area if there is anything suspicious around. Yet, he hasn't recognized any threats nearby. So, the fox gazes at his caretaker, walking away from him.

"*Growl* (Perhaps I can help with the kid. For sure, I don't to see that stupid entity in my sight again... at least for now.)", he moved his wheelchair with effort.

The fox uses his cane, which his caretaker has brought for him, to steer his wheelchair towards his caretaker. For sure, he is quite curious about the investigation of the boy. Maybe it is one of the duties that the boy, and also his brethren, must adhere their policy.

Kurama quickly steers using his decent strength and he finally sees the boy examining something familiar to him*

"*Gasp*Growl* (So... I remember now... This is the place where I have been there before I finally get out of it...)", Kurama realized that he still had recalled of that spot where he had gone out.

The boy keeps inspecting all the trees which are now timbered down. Unbeknownst to the kid, Kurama admits that he is responsible for the incident. However, it is best for Kurama not to swear himself to his caretaker. So the fox, instead, has gone quiet for now.

"Oh hey, my patient. I apologize for leaving you, just to investigate in this spot. I must have prioritzed my duty to inspect any unusual activities within this forest. I have been assigned by the leader to do the task, aside from taking care of any animals who have been injured like you.", his caretaker atoned his negligence of caring the fox.

As a token of apology, the boy lets Kurama take a closer look on his investigation. At first, Kurama refuses to accept his caretaker's token. Eventually, the fox has changed his mind that he is definitely concerned about his guardian's curiosity.

Kurama taking a closer look to the timbered trees*

"*Growl* (Fine! I may, as well play, along with you even though I am not going admit this incident.) *Looks deeper to the bark of one of timbered trees* *Gasp*Growls* (What the heck?! Why are those barks suddenly glow?)", Kurama felt shocked of what he had seen, including his guardian.

Apparently, there are some fragments left behind on those barks of each timbered trees. The boy proceeds to pick it up upon wondering why those trees have extracted such peculiar things that are not seem to be realistic. However, the fox warns the boy not to touch it as he senses danger, thanks to his excellent sense of smell.

"Really, my patient? You don't want to let me pick those fragments? Hmm... I guess I am most concerned of doing that.", the boy followed the fox's plead.

Instead of the boy picking up the fragment, the fox has decided that it is he, himself, can do it for his guardian. The boy worries that the fox might get hurt by the time he (read: Kurama) has picked up the specimen (fragment).

Kurama picks up the fragment using his jaw*

Fragment is glowing and melting within the jaws of the fox*

"Mmmff?! *Growl* (What's this? How come the fragment is being melted in my mouth?!)", Kurama felt something strange in his mouth as the fragment was completely melted.

The boy is wondering why the fragment is being shattered upon picking it up by the fox. He takes notes on his discovery about the orangish fragment, though it is barely explainable. For sure, he does want to pick those fragments in order to know more its behaviour. However, the fox refuses of his guardian's supposed study about the thing. Kurama blocks his own guardian upon reaching and picking it without caution.

"But why, Kurama? Don't you want to know about those fragments and why they have melted?", the boy begged the fox to let him do his own activity.

Change the scene to Kurama's mouth from the inside*

"*Growl and shows his jaws to the boy, threatening to bite him* (I said NO, kid! Pick those up and I won't hesistate to bite you! *Growls*)", Kurama warned his guardian, just for the sake of safetiness.

Change the scene to the two*

The boy has finally given up of researching his own pace. He stands up and he begins to steer the wheelchair. Kurama grins as he likes his guardian to follow his own warning. The fox cheers up his caretaker slightly, just to forget the boy's mind of researching such hazardous activity.

Boy now handling the wheelchair and walking out with Kurama*

"*Sigh* Let's go, Kurama. I don't want to go back this place unless you let me pick up of those.", the boy had finally gone out of the area.

While the two walk away from the suspicious site, Kurama senses something strange going on to his body. He closes his eyes in order to fully feel his body.

"*...* (What's this in my body... my strength is going back... *Sniffs* Ah. I feel like... my wounds are getting healed on my innards.)", Kurama felt something beneficial from his body.

Meanwhile, the boy has gone back to the lakeshore with his relaxed patient sitting on a wheelchair. The two are now going to their next area where things are getting interesting. Once again, Kurama sensez the gentle breeze of air, rushing through his furs. He sniffs the air as he can smell the fragrance of freedom from the area where they have gone out.

"*Sniffs*Ah. *Bark* (Go faster, my caretaker! I'm enjoying this scenic lakeshore!)", he sticked his tongue out after he had howled gently towards his caretaker or his guardian.

Eventually, the boy has lost his own disappointment by the time he sees his patient overwhelming with glorious joy as they have walked through the lakeshore. As they enjoy their wonderful moments of leashing themselves around the lakeshore, the boy sees the edge where he also sees the sun going to rise up completely. He realizes that he leashes his own patient very early in the morning, though the sky isn't that dark anymore.

"Ah. We should go to the cliff, my patient. It's sunrise!", the boy suggested the fox to go in that spot.

Surprisingly for the boy, Kurama has agreed on his offer of going to the cliff in order to see a beautiful sunrise. The boy has finally lost his regrets of not being allowed to investigate the unusual activity, (which Kurama is responsible for that).

"Off to the cliff, my patient!", the boy quickly steered the wheelchair.

"*Barks happily* (Go, go, go, kid! I do want to see the sun rising upon us. Heheheh.)", Kurama encouraged his caretaker to do so.

Running carefully, that is the only action that the teenage boy needs for their own leisure. Determined, the boy's heart pumps fast enough, just to reach the next destination. He, together with Kurama, can hear the rustling of trees while running atop to the cliff. Additionally, some animals have made their sounds alluring to those people who intend to reach the edge.

Birds singing, Squirrels making sound, foxes barking happily*

"Wow, I can hear those animals cheering us up. What do you think, Kurama?", the boy felt something blessful that he could never imagine himself.

"*Grins*Barks* (Yeah, kid. You deserve it. Those animals are making gratitudes of you for saving me. Also, I am getting credits for saving them. *Chuckling*)", Kurama nodded as he had confirmed the interrogative statement of his caretaker.

Surprisingly, the birds guide the two so they have easily had time to climb themselves reaching the cliff. The boy feels blessed that the nature admires his actions of treating the fox with such generosity. Though he prefers of being modest, the boy has just followed the bird's guidance.

The teenage boy and Kurama finally reach the edge of the cliff*

"At last, my friend. We have finally arrived of what we are seeking for. *Inhales* Ah. The air looks fresh as new in here.", the boy was fascinated of the area.

Once again, Kurama has stood up on his wheelchair, regardless of having limited movement due to the body tubes binding his body. Despite he feels the pain, he willingly endures it as he defintely wants to look something in the scenic view.

"*Inhales*Howl* (Heheh. I like it in here! The air in here is cleaner than in the field!) *Looks further from the cliff*Bark*Bark* (Whoah, kid! What is that place over there? I see huge structures from up here.)", Kurama sharpened his snout in order to guide his caretake of what he had seen himself.

The boy looks at the fox's face being curious at something. He stares at Kurama's reddish eyes deeper as the fox is serious enough to spot something.

The boy finally sees on what Kurama spotted*

"Ah. I can see my homecity from up here! *Chuckles* It looks like you are fascinated of those tall buildings huh, Kurama.", the boy wondered if the fox was willing to live in the city.

"*Barks questionably* (City?! What is that?)", the fox tilted his head of not knowing such word had come out from his caretaker.

The fox's tails keep wagging as he is quite interested to know about the place. He only knows about village, mountains, bodies of waters, forests and other traditional places where are only existed on his former world. He repeatedly taps onto his caretaker's arm, just to gather information about the terms, city and buildings.

The boy turns his head and looks at the curious fox*

"Ah. So you aren't familiar with that place, my place? Don't fret. I'm going to tell you about that place, even though I haven't beenon some part of my homecity due to being limited. Well, my homecity is filled with houses, facilities, buildings, and people. There are...

The boy explains about his hime city in detail*

... And yes, I have resided there since birth.", his caretaker eagerly defined the word city, particularly his homecity.

Kurama has dropped his jaws upon knowing that the place is quite interesting. He certainly wants to go in that place in order to know about the world where he arrives.

"*Smiles* (Thanks, kid! Now I know where I need to go to. *Grins* You earn my trust for that... just slightly.)", Kurama secretly commended his guardian for detailed explanation.

The boy thinks that there is something that bothers him. He looks at his watch, just to recognize.

"Ah. Now that we are in here, I always forget to introduce myself onto you. My name is Kaguzuchi Nagamoro. You can just call me Zuchi, in case you prefer my nickname. I am a scouter who likes to maintain the balance of the nature and to nurture its sustainability. I am also willing to help people, including animals, who are in need of help, just like you. Though, I am not good as much on most Academic studies but I am able to maintain my grades, anyway. There, how do you like my introduction. *Giggles*", Zuchi formally introduced himself onto the fox.

Meanwhile, Kurama has gone silent for a moment. He admits that he has never asked the identity of his caretaker until that moment. Confused, this is the only action that the fox can react for him. However, Kurama laughs himself on the inside.

"*Bark*Bark* (Alright, Zuchi. I gotta admit that you caught me in that statement. I forgot that I was supposed to ask your name. *Grins* Yet again, you are earning my trust for this stuff.)", Kurama kept wagging his tail upon knowing the identity of the boy.

On the other hand, Zuchi smiles at Kurama's face as if there is a conversation that makes the two have understood each other. It seems that their bonds have kept growing. They look up upon the city. Zuchi additionally discusses about his past life towards his patient, Kurama.

Zuchi discussing more of his previous activities*

"*...*Smiles* (That's intetesting, Zuchi. That's some nice past lives you got there...)", Kurama commented about their conversation.

"*Giggles* Thank you, my pati- I... I mean Kurama. I admit. I prefer calling your own name rather your current title. I do apologize for causing troubles back then.", Zuchi atoned his own trouble.

"*Bark* (No worries, Zuchi. I am satisfied that you have apologized yourself towards this most powerful demon beast.)", Kurama had forgiven the kid.

Suddenly, Zuchi's watch is now ringing. The boy looks at his watch to know the time, only to find out that his schedule ia going to start now.

"Well look at the time, Kurama. We need to go back to out camp site.", Zuchi formally informed the fox.

Zuchi stands up and starts to steer the fox's wheelchair. He insists that they must leave from the cliff, just to arrive at his schedule on time. He tells Kurama that he is going to be sanctioned if he is late.

"*Bark* (Well what are you waiting for, Zuchi? Steer it now!)", Kurama encouraged his caretaker.

Zuchi has heard of the fox's call, even though the fox barks at him. Before that, he inspects the wheelchair in case of any defects that may occur. Then, they have finally moved out from the area in order to go back to the camp site.

Zuchi steering quickly the wheelchair*

"And we're off, Kurama!", Zuchi went down the slope.

Zuchi smoothly steers downward with no obstacle, at all. He can hear those rustling trees while in a hurry. Determined, he can feel it from his surroundings upon hearing his heartbeat eagerly. Meanwhile, Kurama is quite amused riding himself on his wheelchair. He sticks his tongue out and he lets it be blown by the breezing wind.

"*Howls* (This looks fun! I have never experienced like this before. Go faster, Zuchi! Faster!)", Kurama definitely enjoyed his ride.

The two are current at the end of the slope. Zuchi has lessened his speed in order to increase the friction. The friction helps the fox to hold onto his chair. In other words, it prevents him from being rid off by his transport.

Zuchi arrives*

"Finally, we are back at the lakeshore! Phew. I'm glad we have wonderful time from up there, right?", Zuchi felt happy upon hanging out with the unusual fox.

"*Growl*Bark* (You bet, kid! I even barely feel these pains in my body. I gotta admit. It makes me feel like I'm back to my youth self. You treat me the same as my former jinchuriki. *Sigh* I guess I have met another human like Naruto, after all.)", Kurama was indeed satisfied of hanging out with Zuchi.

Zuchi looks onto the next destination. There, he can see those tents near their current location. It looks like the two have spent their time walking the entire lakeshore. The boy looks up the sky that he can the sun has finall risen.

"*Chuckles* We should go back to the camp sites. Let's go out from this memorable slope.", Zuchi had resumed moving himself and Kurama onto their next destination.

While walking back to the camp site, Kurama has become vigilant in exchange of being treated by Zuchi with generosity. The fox doesn't want to let Zuchi being harmed by any threats around.

"*...* (I will not let anyone hurt you. I'll promise that to you, Zuchi.)", Kurama stood up on his transport.

Few monents later*

Zuchi and Kurama have finally arrived back to the camp site. Zuchi meets with other fellow scouters, just to have greetings. It is common for them to do so. Kurama, on the hand, is not going to interfere anyone within the site, as long as they aren't going to harm his guardian. Zuchi has told Kurama that the boy is going to interact with his colleagues and to stay foot within his own current position.

"Be right back, Kurama.", Zuchi had approached himself towards his friends.

Zuchi waving good mornings toward with other scouters*

"*...* (Hmm. Humans in here are so strange. These humans do exactly the same ilas the ones in my former world. But they have had different gestures compared to Naruto's world. I must say they are strange in my opinion. *Grins* I hope for better place for me to stay in this "realistic" world which my father has told me so. I hate this field, anyway.)", Kurama was being curious of it.

Suddenly, one scouter has quickly run onto the peer of scouters, including Zuchi. The peer supports the running scouter in order to prevent from being tripped.

"What's wrong, Akito? Why did you run like that?", one of the peers asked.

"*Panting* I saw a huge hole on the tent of our friend, Geshi. *Panting* Come, quick! I need some help on checking Geshi if he is still okay in there. *Panting* He hasn't been out for few hours now. He never actually goes out late.", Akito begged for help from anyone.

Zuchi tells to one of his peers to call their leader in order to investigate on the strange incident.

"Alright, Zuchi. I'm calling Mr. Otsuhi now!", one of his peers had taken action immediately.

The rest of the peers, though Zuchi has never ordered them yet, decide to call all of the other fellow scouters as the situation is being flagged as an emergency.

The rest of the peers now calling their other friends*

"Zuchi, you have to stay right there and wait for us. We are going to alarm everyone else in here.", one of Zuchi's peers had suggested him.

Zuchi nods that he follows his brethren's advice. He, then, handles the wheelchair of his patient. He tells Kurama that there is nothing to worry about. He certainly doesn't want the fox to be stressed out upon hearing such situation.

Changes the scene to Kurama*

Meanwhile, Kurama has heard of the situation. He understand it. He goes silent that there is something familiar about the incident. For sure, he can't explain the situation unless he, himself, sees the incident right in front of his eyes.

"*Growl* (...A hole? Could it be? ...Grr... I hope that isn't my... Grr... Only way to find out...)", Kurama had suspected that the recent incident was the same thing happened to him before.

For sure, he wants to know the main cause of the event happened in that affected area.

"*...* (Zuchi... I'll go with you...)", Kurama wanted to join with his caretaker for investigation.
