I woke up and immediately realized two things. First off I wasn't in my room, secondly, I was in a lot of pain.

"Ugh," I groaned.

"Midoriya, you're up," a voice said.

"Miles?" I asked, looking at the African American boy.

"I'll go get Peter," he said, walking out.

I sat up and looked around the mostly plain room. The door opened and Peter walked in.

"Hey, how are you feeling? No adverse side effects?" he asked.

"What are you talking about? Where's my father?" I asked.

"Do you not remember what happened yesterday?" he asked, concerned.

"Wait, that was real? I thought it was a dream about half-way through," I said, realizing several things at once. I have power, dad's in a coma, I-I helped save people with Spider-Man, Spider-Girl, Supergirl, Batgirl, and Black Bat. I-I wasn't useless.

"Hey, are you alright?" he asked.

"Y-yeah, just, working things out," I said.

"I understand, I was around your age when I got bit by a spider and got my powers. Heck, Miles only got his a year ago, you aren't alone," he said.

"What happened? I remember helping Supergirl hold a building up and Batgirl and Black Bat helped us get out, but after I jumped I can't remember what happened."

"Well, when you were pulled out by Black Bat you hit her head with your's knocking you out and leaving her with a bump on her's. When Batman first found out he wanted to strangle you but she talked him down saying that it was partially her fault for not realizing how dense your head was," Peter explained. "You've been out for about half a day. It's nine in the morning now," he added.

"Wait, you said Miles got powers a year ago?" I asked.

"I think it would be best if I just explain everything at once. How about you get up and meet me in the living room," he said.

"Yeah, sure," I said, groaning as I stood up.

I followed Peter through what looked like a nice penthouse. He led me to a room with two couches with six people sitting on them.

"Alright, Izuku, meet Gwen Stacy aka Ghost Spider, Ben Riley aka Scarlet Spider, Felicia Parker aka Black Cat, Anne Weying aka She-Venom, May Parker aka Spider-Girl, and Miles Morales aka Spider-Man, the other Spider-Man. Everyone, this is Izuku Midoriya and he has spider powers now along with a couple of other powers," Peter said.

"Peter, mind telling us how he got these powers?" Felicia asked, in an eerily calm voice.

"You know how I've been working with Superman to make them a bit more resistant to Kryptonite? Well, I'm using a spider similar to the one that bit Miles, Gwen, and myself and using a bit of a couple types of Kryptonite to see if the venom from it can be used to make a solution to help them. Yesterday his father had him hide in the tube to keep him safe," Peter explained.

"And he got bit," Ben said.

"He also has Kryptonian powers too, right?" Gwen asked.

"A couple, I don't know what all he can do," he sighed.

"Sorry you're in our world now," May said.

"Honestly I'm not sure if it's a bad thing or good," I admitted.

"We'll only find out depending on what you want to do," Miles said.

"I'm not sure. I always wanted to be a hero, but I don't know what I can do," I said, looking at my hands.

"Then, let's see what you can do. I got word that the Titans are willing to let you all go to Titian's Academy, as students," Peter said, looking at Miles, May, Anne, and Gwen.

"Are you serious?" Miles asked.

"I've been in talks with them about it for awhile now and since Izuku got powers very recently they said that they can accept all of you as students who will be put on a team with others. Also, I got permission from your parents," he said. "Izuku, you will go so they can help you learn what all powers you have and how to control them. If you don't want to be a hero you don't have to. However, I would recommend something to keep your identity secret," Peter added, tossing me a piece of red cloth with blue lines.

I looked at it and it looked like his mask with strange blue lines instead of spider webs. I noticed the white eyes looked slightly different.

"For your eye beams, just to keep them from getting destroyed," Peter explained. "Now, all of you get packed to go to Detroit, you'll leave later today in a quinjet from the roof of Parker Ind. so get anything you need. Izuku, we'll go to your house to get anything you need in a bit," he added, looking over at me.

"Hey, Izuku, want something to eat or drink?" Felicia asked.

"Um, yeah, thanks," I said.

"Come with me, I'll show you what we got," she said, standing up. She led me to the kitchen and grabbed a cup. "So, how are you feeling?"

"I'm not sure," I sighed, as my mind started slowing down.

"It's a lot to take in, I understand. Find someone to confide in, who you can just talk to about anything be it about your powers, your father, or just nothing at all. It's what Peter did when he was starting out," she said. "So, want some coke, water, milk?"

"Um, just water," I said. "So, were you who Peter trusted?" I asked.

"No, I was actually a thief at one point. May's mother was who he trusted before they broke up," she explained, handing me the cup with water. "They're still good friends and if there's something he doesn't know if I can understand he goes to her. Honestly, she's still his best friend and I'm glad he has someone like her and I hope you can find someone too," she said.

"Thanks," I said, taking a deep drink.

She led me back and everyone but Ben and Peter were gone.

"So, wanna go get your stuff now?" Peter asked.

"Yeah, um, sure," I said.

Peter led me to his car(that was fixed) and drove me to dad's apartment. I went and got a bag and filled it with clothes before filling another one with notebooks and my laptop. I looked at something that my father had given me years ago, a small device that I couldn't figure out and he wouldn't tell me about. I tossed it into my bag with my laptop before going back down. He drove us to Parker Ind. and led me to a room near the top where they kept quite a few of their suits and devices for all of the Spiders.

"Hey, how are you feeling Midoriya?" Miles asked, walking up with his costume on but his mask off.

"I'm kinda feeling a bit overwhelmed," I said, looking at all of the devices before I froze on one. "What's this?" I asked, walking over to it.

"Oh, that's one of Pete's old gear, um, hey Pete, what's this do again?" he yelled.

"What? Oh, that's my old design for a hidden web-shooter, why?" Peter asked, walking over.

"Um, my dad sent me this awhile ago," I said, digging through my bag and pulling out the device he sent me that was almost identical. "He said it would help me be the hero I was meant to be."

"That almost looks like an improvement on my design. Different from the ones we use now but still able to do normal webs unlike the special ones we can do," he said, looking at it. "He asked if he could send a prototype of something to you but never said what," Peter said, smirking. "Want me to check it out or show you how it works?"

"How do I activate it?" I asked, feeling excitement as well as happiness.

"Put it between the insides of your wrists," he said, handing it back to me.

I did as he said and two straps shot out and connected before a small hole opened in the middle facing my hands. I then pulled my wrists apart and looked at the two devices on my wrists.

"Where's the buttons?" Miles asked.

"I'm not sure, try them out Izuku," Peter said.

I pointed at an empty space on the wall and put my middle and ring finger to my palm as a web flew out and hit the wall.

"He managed to remove the button but at the cost of specialized webs. For how we operate it won't be useful for us," Miles said.

"But, since Izuku hasn't trained to use specialty webs like us, it'll be perfect," Peter added. "I would say those would be better for emergencies though, when you don't have a full suit. I guess the question is, do you want a full suit with normal web slingers?" he asked.

"My dad gave me these years ago, before I had a q-powers. He told me to use them to be the hero I was meant to be. I-I think a suit would be nice, but we should wait until we know what all I can do," I said.

"Sounds like a plan to me," May said, walking in with the other girls behind her, all of them in costumes except Anne.

"Where's Anne's costume?" I asked.

She just smirked as black goo enveloped her to form a black and white version of Peter's costume.

"Hello," she said in a creepy double voice.

"Stop," Gwen said, elbowing her. "You're creeping him out."

"Awe, we wouldn't want that now would we?" she asked, a long tongue dangling from her mouth.

"Hey, Flash, yeah can you come in full Agent Anti-Venom?" Peter asked, holding a phone to his head.

"Come on, let me mess around a bit since I'm a teen again," she sighed.

"'Again'?" I asked.

"She got hit by a laser that was supposed to send you back in time, however it actually made her body and her mentality go back to when she was a teen," a woman who looked similar to Miles said, walking in.

"Hey Mom," Miles said.

"So, you are the new Spider-Man I've heard about," she said, looking at me.

"I'm not sure I'm going to use that name ma'am. There's already two Spider-Men, no need for a third to add onto the confusion. I've only just decided to actually start doing heroics," I admitted.

"Well, you are going to a good place to learn. Thank you for bringing them here Mrs. Morales," Peter said.

"It was my pleasure, I wanted to see some of the greatest sidekicks off before they thought themselves too big for us," she said.

"We aren't sidekicks," everyone but Peter and I said.

The two adults and I started laughing at all of them.

"Well, once you get to Titan's Academy you won't be. Now, the Quinjet is on the roof and your pilot is already there. He'll be in charge so listen to him like you would, well would say me but you don't so just listen to him and do what he says. Trust me, it'll do you a world of good," Peter said.

We all went up to the roof and saw a large jet with the back open and a man in a black and red costume with a domino mask.

"Hey, nice to meet you all. I'm Nightwing, now let's get going to the Academy," he said, walking in.

"Holy crap, that's Batman's first sidekick, the original Robin," Miles said.

"The first, how many have there been?" I asked.

"I think he's on the fourth," Gwen said.

"No, he's on the fifth. You're forgetting that the new Batgirl was Robin for a bit," May corrected as we all got on.

"Alright, I'm not sure how much Parker told you all but at the Academy it's up to you if you want to keep your identity a secret or not. The thing is if someone reveals their identity to you but doesn't want others to know then you can't tell. Also, if you figure someone's identity out you can ask them privately if you are correct, but they don't have to tell you," Nightwing said, as the jet started to take off. "Now, we have recently started to separate people into teams and the teams have a dorm that's similar to how Titan's Tower was originally set up for those of us who were in the beginnings of it, just on a smaller scale. You will be meeting your teammates when you get there. Your rooms can be decorated however you may wish, just don't destroy them or do any major modifications without informing Cyborg or myself."

"This is going to be awesome," Miles said.

"So, who are our teammates going to be?" Anne asked.

"I won't tell you just yet, but they are just joining the Academy too. You'll all be on even ground," he said. "Even the new kid with you will be treated the same as all of you. So you know, Peter didn't tell me your name. He said it was up to you if you wanted to tell me but don't feel pressured to. If you want to keep your identity a secret I recommend wearing the mask he gave you," he added.

"Oh, um, yeah," I said, putting the mask on. I looked around and realized the lens did nothing to my actual vision. I tried breathing and noticed it didn't modify how the air flowed. "Huh, this actually doesn't affect my breathing or sight," I muttered.

"Yeah, it wouldn't be very convenient if it messed with our breathing and stuff," Miles said.

We spent the rest of the time in relative silence with just a couple of small conversations. I noticed Gwen and Anne stood near each other and kept to themselves. When we landed, Nightwing stood from the front and looked at us.

"Follow me," he said, walking out. He led us through the entrance of the man made island with a large T with a bunch of smaller buildings around it. He led us to one that looked a little bigger than most of the others. "The rest of the team is already here. Let's go meet them," he said, walking in. "Everyone, to the living room!" he yelled.

A bunch of people walked in and I recognized three of them as Supergirl, Black Bat, and Batgirl.

"Alright, everyone, you're going to give your codename, your powers or how you fight, and if you want to you can give your secret identity, I'll give you an example. I'm Nightwing, I have no powers but fight with acrobatics, batarangs, a staff that can split into two billy clubs, and my real name is Dick Grayson," he said, taking his mask off.

"Why are you telling everyone who you are, you fool?" a boy in a Robin costume asked.

"Because dad told me to, oh and you don't have a choice of keeping your identity secret, his decision," Nightwing said.

"What? That makes no sense, why should I trust strangers?"

"Because, you'll have to trust them in the field and we know that you have trust issues as it is," he said. "Now, your turn."

"Fine. I'm Robin, I have League of Assassins training, and fight with a katana, hand to hand, and with batarangs, and my real name is Damian Wayne," he said.

"Hi, I'm Batgirl and I fight hand to hand and with gadgets. My real name is Stephanie Brown," Batgirl said, taking her cowl off. "This is Black Bat, she doesn't talk much and she fights hand to hand and with gadgets and was also trained by a member of the League of Assassins. Her real name is Cassandra Wayne."

"Well, I'm Ghost Spider and I fight with webs, hand to hand, and have spider powers. My name is Gwen Stacy," Gwen said, taking her mask off.

"Yo, I'm Spider-Man and I am like Gwen, only I can also go invisible and unleash bioelectricity. You can call me Miles," he said, taking his mask off.

"I'm Spider-Girl, I'm like Gwen and you can call me May Parker," May said, removing her mask.

"I'm She-Venom, I have black webs, tendrils, and have a symbiote that acts as a second mind kinda. Also my real name is Anne Weying," Anne said as the symbiote went back into her.

"I'm Shadowcat, I can phase through anything and bring anything I am touching before phasing with me. My real name is Kitty," a girl with long brown hair said.

"I go by Magik, I can do magic and can also teleport but am still working on that. You can also call me Illyana," a girl with long blonde hair said, holding onto Kitty.

"I'm Supergirl, I'm a Kryptonian like my cousin Superman and my real name is Kara Zor-El," Supergirl said.

"Oh, um, well I don't have a codename yet, my powers are a combination of spider powers and Kryptonian powers. I'm not sure I'm comfortable with telling you all my real name yet. For now can you just call me Spider?" I asked.

"Sure thing, Spider," Stephanie said.

"Thanks, and um, sorry about hitting your head," I said, looking at Cassandra.

"Alright," she said in a quiet voice.

"She means it's alright, we weren't expecting you to be so light and powerful at the same time," Stephanie said.

"Yeah, they expected you to be like my cousin or Batman," Kara said. "Have a lot of meat on the bones."

"Well, we can help you with a better name," Kitty said.

"Yeah, our names weren't all the greatest at the beginning, just ask Boy Wonder over there," Stephanie said, looking at Dick.

"Shut up, now tomorrow you will all start classes together. All of your classes will be together and you will be in costume unless you are comfortable with having a known identity like Iron Man, Green Arrow, and Captain America. Spider, just wear the mask and whatever you want. Also every team here gets a name, talking to the other members of the Titans we decided to bestow our old name onto your team. As of now, you are the Teen Titans, that will be your team call sign. Now, get to know each other and get some rest," he said, putting his mask back on and walking out.

"Um, where are the rooms?" I asked.

"There's three halls with four rooms each. There's a full empty hall and the other two each have one open room," Kitty explained.

"You guys take the open hall and I'll join one of the other ones," I said, looking at the other spiders.

"You sure man?" Miles asked.

"Y-yeah, I think I need to get used to others," I said.

"Alright, if you're good with it," May said.

"Hey Spider, why don't you join the hall I'm in?" Kara asked. "So that way you can have another Kryptonian, well, I guess you're only half or partial but still a Kryponian nonetheless."

"Um, yeah sure," I said, grabbing my bags.

"I'll show you," she said, walking to a hallway.

I followed her and there were two doors not too far into the hall. One had a card that read Supergirl and the other one had Black Bat. We went a little farther and the door on the side her room was on was blank while the other one had Batgirl on it.

I'm the only boy in a hall of girls. I realized.

"Here's a marker to put your name on the door," Kara said, handing me a sharpie.

"Thanks," I said, taking it and writing Spider on it. "I'm amazed at being here. I have powers even after being without any in a place where everyone has powers and now I'm training to be a hero," I chuckled, handing the marker back.

"So you are from Japan. I thought so from your accent," she said. "Yeah, I grew up on another planet for part of my life and was sent here to look after my cousin, just for him to get here decades before me since I went through a time jump. I understand what you mean. I can't wait to see what you can do. You're going to be an amazing hero," she said, walking off to her room.

I stood there and felt my cheeks heat up in embarrassment. I walked in and set my things down. The room wasn't too big but larger than any room I had ever had before. The bed had basic furnishings of a dresser, a full bed, and a desk. I fell onto the bed and a grin broke out on my face.

This is happening, I'm becoming a hero.

So, I'm on new medicine and writing is difficult since I'm getting used to it. Now you might notice that there would be an empty room. I do plan on filling it and have a couple of ideas, but I wanted to ask you for any characters you would like to join the team. Make sure to follow, favorite, comment, and kudos! Link Out!
