Lin Ye was humming to himself as he walked in the corridor. He waved at some operators that noticed him. Their reaction varies from one another. Some sent him a quick nod while some outright bowed their heads at him.

If that was their reaction knowing he was the Doctor, he did not want them to know he was a prince now. They might even slam their head onto the floor at just the sight of him.

Maybe keeping that information a secret was a good idea.

And talking about the royalty of Yan.

He remembered what Leizi told him about their situation in his old office.

The person who was now the emperor was Ren. The old emperor stepped down because of health issues and old age. Lin Ye did not even bother knowing his name, it would just be a waste of his memory if he knew something that useless.

And the most important news that he got from Leizi was that Lily was safe.

Hearing this news from Leizi, Lin Ye felt a bit more at ease now.

However, that was short-lived.

Lin Ye knew that this was just temporary. If Lily even showed the slightest sign of going against what the emperor wanted, she would be viewed as a threat.

The people that governed that nation were no idiots. Yan was a massive superpower in this world for centuries now. One of the big factors on why they still have a big presence in this world has been because the people that run that country knew what they were doing.

As he was planning on the downfall of a country in the hall as he walked, someone called him from behind.

"Doctor!"

Lin stopped, though and came to a halt. He turned around and saw a familiar bunny girl behind him. Her arms folded and she had a light glare on her face.

Why was he getting glared at by her?

Did he do something?

From his memories, he did not do anything wrong yet.

"Amiya?" Lin Ye raised a brow as he turned to face her, "Is something the matter?"

Hearing his reply, her ears shook, and Amiya's glare hardened. Although from Lin Ye's point of view, she was pouting at him.

"Doctor, what are you doing here?" Amiya sighed, "Why are you not in your office?"

"… In my office?"

Lin Ye needed some time to understand what she meant. His eyes lit and nodded at her.

"Ah, that. Technically I was in my office. It was just my old one," Lin Ye chuckled, "Had something personal I needed to do."

Although that was the truth, Amiya did seem to like his answer.

Without even waiting for him to say anything, Amiya pulled on his sleeve and dragged him to where his office. Luckily, they were on the floor it was on so it should not take them that long to arrive there.

Lin Ye let himself be dragged around by a girl that was weaker than him. If he wanted to, Lin Ye could easily stop her. However, it might cause too much trouble for him so here he was, being dragged by a girl smaller than him.

"You are the Doctor now," Amiya said in a low voice, "You are going to succeed the Doctor, so pay attention to your image."

This made him humm with interest.

"My image huh?" Lin Ye chuckled, "Did I do anything that ruined it already?"

Amiya glanced at him for a second before looking back ahead.

"You did nothing. That's the problem," Amiya sighed, "Don't you know it's work time now? The employees are all at work, and it's not good for you to hang out in front of the dormitory area."

Raising a brow Lin Ye thought about this. True, it was working hours now. With him being one of the heads of the company, not doing anything and just standing in the hall was not a good image to have for him.

And Amiya was not done with him yet. She still had more things to lecture him for.

"You were only a psychiatrist before, and naturally no one cares about what you do. However, you are going to succeed as the Doctor." Amiya said seriously as she was dragging him, "Do you want us to introduce you to the new employees with "that man who is idle all day long" and is in the hope of saving the infected?"

Lin Ye hummed to this. She did not know that he was quite busy and he was about to go back to his office. He did not blame her though. From her point of view, the new Doctor was just doing nothing all day, so it was reasonable she was crossed with him now. He kept his mouth shut and just smiled.

Amiya stopped them when they were in front of his new office. She let go of his sleeve and turned to face him. Arms folded; she narrowed her eyes at him.

Lin Ye still had his small smile as he stared at her with his brow arch.

"Did you do your research on the countries?" She asked.

Remembering that Kal'tsit asked him to do some research on the countries in this world, Lin Ye hummed. She said that he was the one that will choose which country Rhodes Island will come in contact with first.

Maybe he should use this to his advantage.

"Done that," Lin Ye nodded, "I think I have a place that we can work with."

Amiya's attention was caught now. Her eyes perked hearing this from him.

"Where is it?" She asked.

Seeing her attention was away from him now, Lin Ye smiled.

"Laterano, I think they are our new target," Lin Ye answered, "They bring a lot of value if we work today with them."

She was in deep thought now hearing him.

"Laterano?" Amiya muttered under her breath, "We are nearer to them now."

Nodding to this, Lin Ye explained further.

"I may know too little of the nation," He admitted, "Amiya, how much do you know about that place."

Amiya raised her head and stared at him. She looked more serious now.

"I'm ashamed to say this but my knowledge in that country is limited. I am sorry Doctor," Amiya apologized, "Miss Kal'tsit should know more of it than me."

Lin Ye waved her apology.

"It's fine." Lin Ye hummed, "So, Kal'tsit? I might need to make a meeting with her later about this."

As Lin Ye was thinking hard on this, Amiya seemed to come up with an idea.

"Doctor, how about this? We have a lot of operators that are from Laterano. Can you ask them?" Amiya suggested, "I believe Miss Exusiai is one of those people."

Lin Ye hummed at this idea.

"Exusiai, huh?" Lin Ye thought hard about this, "Maybe someone else."

This confused Amiya.

"Why are you so conflicted in talking to her?" Amiya asked, curious, "With you being the person that will be talking to our future partners, you should be able to talk to most people."

Lin Ye nodded at what she said.

"True, I cannot say you are wrong," Lin Ye said, "But there is another reason why I picked Laterano as our next stop. A more personal reason."

This made Amiya more interested.

"Personal reason?" She repeated to him, "What is it?"

Lin Ye hummed and thought hard about what to do now. Based on the message that he got from that mysterious person, they said that if people knew what was going on his life would be in danger.

So, a normal Monday?

With that thought in his mind, he chuckled and stared back at Amiya.

"Well, there is a person that I know that is from Laterano," Lin Ye explained, "She's a Fallen. You must have heard about her."

Amiya thought hard about this. Then a name popped into her head.

"Miss Mostima," Amiya said, "I read about her. She's a new recruit I believe."

Lin Ye nodded at her guess.

"That's her," He confirmed, "Mostima and I have known each other. The same goes with Exusiai."

Lin Ye pulled out his phone.

"Today, I got a call from someone saying that Mostima is in danger."

*Crash!*

Amiya jumped when she heard the sound of glass breaking. Lin Ye on the other hand just raised a brow.

Both of them slowly looked to the side and saw a person staring at them in shock.

They noticed that there was a piece of pie laying on the floor with shards of a plate under it.

Exusiai kept on staring at them in shock.

Then she quickly raised her finger and glared at Lin Ye.

"What did you say!?" She shouted at Lin Ye.

Lin Ye seeing this just sighed. He wasn't even surprised.
