"My name is Ikkaku. I want to share with you an experience my friend and I had."
"My best bud, Yumichika, and I use to watch this cartoon when we were kids: Courage the Cowardly Dog. If you haven't seen it, you probably should. As we got older, our thoughts on it changed. Yumichika like to mock it because it lacked in aesthetics. I just thought it was so dopey that it was funny."
Ikkaku and Yumichika really liked that cartoon when they were kids. Even as they got older, they still were quite fond of it.
"One day, we heard an interesting rumor that the farmhouse on the show was based on a real place, and that paranormal activities go on around there. We didn't believe that last part, but we just had to check it out. We looked up the location online and saw that it really was a real place. Once we had the address and location, we grabbed our stuff and drove out into the middle of nowhere, literally."
Upon hearing that their favorite cartoon was based off a real place, they just had to go and see it. Yumichika and Ikkaku got themselves ready for a trip and drove out to the middle of nowhere to get a look at the house.
"We soon arrived at the house, and we couldn't believe it. It really did look just like the farmhouse from the cartoon. It had the same creaky windmill, same wooden design, and everything about it was the same. It was hard to imagine, but it was right there before our eyes. I wanted to check out the inside, but Yumichika was rather nervous."
"I don't know about this, Ikkaku. I've got a bad feeling about this." Yumichika claimed.
"Don't be a baby. It's abandoned, no one lives here, and there's no way it's really haunted." Ikkaku said.
Ikkaku wanted to take a look inside, but Yumichika was a bit scared to. With a little taunting and teasing, Ikkaku managed to convince Yumichika to go inside.
"We stepped inside the house and saw it was the same inside as well. It was in a little bad shape, but that was only because it was abandoned. Still, there was an eerie feeling to it. Despite that, Yumichika and I went on inside and had a look around the place. It almost felt like we were actually in the cartoon."
The two of them felt like they were entering some sort of wonderland. Despite how bad the house looked, the two of them found some enjoyment in it.
"I had a look in the dining room, living room, and the kitchen. All of it was just about the same as it was on the cartoon. You can't imagine my nostalgia from being in that house. Yumichika, on the other hand, was getting a little uneasy. He was acting like the place was really haunted. I figured he just didn't like being in a place like that with how he is towards fashion and things that are pretty."
Ikkaku was enjoying his time there, but Yumichika was having a little trouble about it. As the two of them looked around, Yumichika heard some sort or noise; like there was something else in the house.
"Ikkaku, I think I heard something." Yumichika said.
"Quit being a baby. It's just an old house." Ikkaku said. "I'm going to check out the upstairs."
"I wanted to see more of the house. I was starting to make my way up the stairs, but Yumichika remained downstairs. He was a little hesitant to go up there."
As Ikkaku made his way up the stairs, Yumichika stayed behind.
"Ikkaku, I don't think this is a good idea." Yumichika said.
"For the last time, there's nothing to be afraid of." Ikkaku said.
"I tried to convince him everything was fine, but I just jinxed myself. That was right when an arm busted out of the step I was standing on and grabbed me by the leg."
Before Ikkaku knew it, someone's arm busted right through the wooden step and grabbed his ankle. It pulled and pulled with whoever it was trying to pull Ikkaku down.
"I resisted while whoever that was tried to pull me down, but they were tough. As they tried pulling me down, I thought I could see something like a face in the shadows."
Ikkaku was doing his best to avoid being pulled down. When he looked down, he spotted someone's face in there. He could see the murder in the person's eyes.
"While I was trying to resist by holding on the railing, it broke and I ended up falling through it, but it did free my leg. As soon as I was free, Yumichika and I just ran out of there and went straight for the car."
Ikkaku ended up breaking the old railing as he fell through, but it just saved his life. Once Ikkaku was free, he and Yumichika just ran out of there and tried to save themselves. They made it to the car and just drove out of there as fast as they could.
"Once we got to the car, we just drove away and tried to catch out breaths."
"What was that?" Yumichika questioned.
"I don't know." Ikkaku answered.
"When we were a safe distance from the house, we calmed down and did a little more research on that house. It turns out that a serial killer used that house like a hideout. He was arrested, but that means someone else was in that house. Was there another serial killer in that house? I don't know if that place is haunted, but I'm glad we got out of there. That placed that seemed like a dream for children ended up becoming a nightmare."
