Sorry for anyone that takes the time to read this story on the long wait between chapters. Finding it hard to have a drive to continue this story.

1Tayloranes/ I like your idea of having Izu getting a dragon summon and now I have an idea of how I am going to implement it into the story.

I also get that it was weird to go with Kakashi as Hokage in this story, but it works better for how I have our favorite copy ninja in this story. If anyone has any ideas, I am always willing to listen and thank you again!

Sasuke moved with a team of Jonin. His mom Anko was leading the team, Followed by Genma Shiranui, Raido Namiashi. His dad sent them to back up the Toad Sage and his brother. Knowing that Itachi was after Naruto made him sick to his stomach. The Hatakes saved Sasuke from of life of hate and revenge. If it weren't for them then he wouldn't of made friends and could never have become close to Hinata.

Bringing him out of his train of thought Anko called out to halt, "Okay here is the deal. I would like to return to my daughter as soon as possible." Even though he would really like to get caught up to Naruto, Sasuke had to admit leaving Konaka and Konohamaru at home was tough. Kono was still getting over the lose of his Grandfather and Konaka was just defensless without them. He knew Inko would take care of them. Maybe it was just his paranoia talking.

"Now as of right now, Sasuke you need to reinforce your brother. You're just to good of a team to seperate. Besides you both have more power output in case things go south." Anko stared into her son's eyes until he nodded. His mom was a more covert op combatant. A head on battle was not the norm.

Anko turned to the Jonin, "I want us three to cause interference. We are going to take on anyone that we did not expect. If there are no other issues then we will backup whoever needs it."

"Hai." Both shinobi nodded. Neither one ever wanted to get on the torture princess's bad side.

"Good lets go then.

Jiriaya and Naruto made it to the village that Tsunade was at. Naruto looked around and saw the amount of gambling establishments and bars there were just down the one. "Um Pervy Sage how are we suppose to find her without getting her to notice?"

Before Jiriaya could respond a wall to one of the casino's exploded in sheer force. "YOU THINK YOU CAN TALK TO ME LIKE THAT YOU TWERP!"

Chuckling Jiriaya looked down at his young god son. "Well it looks like we found her." Naruto looked at the wall with wide eyes. Why are so many of the girls he knows so angry. He thought back to Izu and how sweet he always is. With his power he would kill him if he got that angry. An enraged Izuku popped into his head. The need to shudder at the thought was immediate.

Walking into the building Jiriaya looked at his old team mate and smiled, "Hello Hime."

Tsunade turned to Jiriaya and the rage transformed into confusion than immediately to annoyance. "What do you want Jiriaya, and why did you bring a brat?" Naruto looked at this women that is suppose to be the ultimate women of the village. He couldn't help but huff at the women.

"This is your godson. Naruto Hatake." Tsunade's eyes widened in shock looking at the masked boy. Shizune mimicked her mentors expression. The small blond boy seemed so calm but looking into his Shizune could see a still untamed power.

Moving out of the casino they four shinobi made their way to a back corner in a restaurant. Naruto could feel the tension between the two sanin. Jiriaya decided to speak after several minutes of silence. "The Hokage needs you to return to the village."

Tsunade shook her head in anger, "First the Hokage was killed wasn't he? So they must have asked you to be Hokage. If you said no they probably want me to be Hokage?"

Jiriaya smiled, "Actually, Kakashi Hatake took the position. He is under the assumption that there is a threat outside the Five Villages."

"What a fool! To become Hokage is a death sentence." Tsunade's voice spoke with such malice that Naruto felt rage build up in an instant.

Tsunade looked at Naruto. She could see the rage her comment caused. Closing her eyes and taking a drink she shook her head. "I will never return to the village. I don't care if the old man got himself killed and if Hatake is just as idiotic."

Punching the table Naruto stood up in a furry, "Listen you here you old bat!" Tsunade turned red in anger. "You talk about Jiji like that! He sacrificed himself to protect the village! He saved so many people. You think you can just disrespect the Hokage like that!"

Naruto was trembling, his eyes turned to slits and he was giving off insane chakra. Tsunade and Jiriaya both were standing ready in case he lost control. Kurama was trying to calm Naruto down in his dream scape but to no avail. "You call my father an idiot but you don't understand anything! You honestly think that? You are powerful just like Jiji! If you had been there maybe this wouldn't of happened. Maybe Jiji would still be alive!"

"Listen brat! If I ha-" Naruto wasn't having it and cut her off. Tears were now streaming down his face, " If you had been there maybe Izu wouldn't have had to destroy his arms to make sure the Hokage one the battle with Orochimaru!"

Tsunade was confused now, "Who is this Izu? And yes they were both fools. The tittle leads to death and pain. Nothing more."

Naruto wiped his eyes speaking quietly, "I guess I am a fool then to. I will become Hokage to!"

Tsunade started laughing hysterically, "Yo-you want t-to be the HOKAGE!" She was keeling over in laughter. After regaining her composure she looked at the boy. "How about we make a deal huh kid?"

Naruto looked at the Sanin in the eyes with determination, "Fine. What's the deal?"

"Simple if you can land a hit on me. Just one then I will return with you." Naruto gave her a devilsh eye smile. "I will also give you this necklace." She pointed to the one around her neck, "It was the First Hokage's and I will gift it to you if you can win."

Jiriaya couldn't help but smile. She had no idea how strong Naruto actually was. He was already Jonin level in actual power and skill. Team 7 as a whole are power houses. Kakashi had gotten stronger out of necessity of protecting and raising Naruto. She didn't know it yet but Team 7 was the future to our village.

Naruto looked at Jiriaya and smiled, "Fine!"

Everyone made their way outside. Shizune and Jiriaya stood away from combat area just in case. While they watched with several other civilians from a far Naruto and Tsunade faced each other in the street. Tsunade had a smirk of victory on her face. Jiriaya took a step forward, "Begin!"

Naruto pushed off pulling out a kunai at incredible speed. He knows if this was a true fight he would never be able to actually defeat her in combat. The Slug Sanin was kown to be a power house on the battle field and had enough healing prowess to be nearly immortal.

Putting her finget in the air Tsunade pushed chakra through it. Yelling she used her hand to smash the ground between Naruto and herself. Naruto was shocked for a moment from the raw power that the old women had at her disposal. Shaking his head he threw the kunai. Tsunade moved her head slightly dodging the blade. She couldn't help but feel annoyed with such a simple attack.

As everyone watched Naruto fall into the crater that was created Tsunade was ready for her victory until the boy disappeared. Jiriaya smiled at the shock on everyone's faces. Tsunade had just lost her bet. Naruto was now standing behind her with his chakra blade pointed at a soft spot in between her ribs. "You lost Granny." Naruto's eyes were serious this time. "Someone special to me needs your help. He has always been by my side and will be when I become Hokage!"

Tsunade smiled at the boy, "I yield." Shizune was still speechless after the ordeal.

"Yeah he has a way of surprising people." Jiriaya couldn't hide his pride for his godson.

Naruto's expression changed, "Wait so you will come back with us?!" Naruto stowed his weapons. "You are going to love my friends to! Izuku is amazing and he will so want to see you use that super strength again! Sasuke my brother, he is really strong and my friend Sakura-" Tsunade punched the young blond in the head, "Damn it brat I said I would go with you but don't be annoying!"

"Owe you are just like Sakura." Naruto fell over holding his head.

"Well,well, well. Look at what we have here. A couple of leaves that have fallen away from the tree. You know finding you was way to difficult." Gatzu smiled while drawing his katana.

Akira gave off killer intent, "Oh Gatzu this will be so fun. To kill Konoha's jinchuriki." Liking her lips she couldn't hold back her giggles.

Naruto though couldn't take his eye off of Akaza. Pulling out his chakra blade and pointing it at the man, "You were the guy back at Wave." Jiriaya looked around, if they had been found then the Akatski are going to be here as well.

As if on cue two figures appeared out of nowhere. Naruto stepped back at seeing Sasuke's older brother Itachi. Standing next to the traitorous Uchiha was a man that looked like a shark. Nartuo guessed that was the Seven Swordsman of the Mist Kisame. "The Akatski actually kept their word."

Tsunade crossed her arms and stepped in front of Shizune, "Jiriaya, what is going on?"

Looking at Naruto and Tsunade he shook his head, "The Akatski are after Naruto. Those three are after you.

"Kisame go help those to against the Sanin. I'll get the Jinchuriki." Naruto's eyes widened and he stepped back again. They were after him, without Izu and Sasuke here. How was he suppose to win this? He would never see his little sister again or his mom. His dad would lose another loved one.

Kurama was watching the conversations and his vessel's doubt's play out, "Naruto! You will win this. We have to get revenge against the masked man and make Hokage remember. Plus you have a green bunny to get back to."

That's right. Nartuo slapped himself in the face. The image of Izuku's smile and eyes popped into his face. Izuku would never give up. Looking up at the powerful opponents he shook he felt his chakra flair. "You want me then you better come and get me!"

Suddenly the five enemy ninja attacked. Akaza and Akira both fired water jutsu out at the four shinobi. Naruto had two clones get Shizune out of the way while he dodged. Jiriaya dodged the attack quite easily but as he flew into the air Kisame appeared infront of him and smashed him away from his god son. Tsunade barely avoided a slash from the swordsman Gatzu.

Naruto landed and barely had time to avoid a strike from Itachi as he attempted to gain a sense of Jiriaya and Tsunade. Looking at the ground Naruto was trying to fight but without being able to see his opponent he was having trouble. Biting his thumb he hit the ground, "Summoning Jutsu!" Phelan appeared kicking Itachi away from his summoner.

Walking up to Phelan who was flaring his teeth at the new enemy. Naruto put his hand on the back of the dire wolf. "Thanks buddy!" Phelan knocked turned and knocked down his summer. "YOU IDIOT! You are a sensory ninja. Close your eyes and use those instincts. You are a damn fox remember! You are fighting an Uchiha."

Naruto gave his friend an eye smile, "Right." Pulling his head band downover his eyes, he stepped up next to Phelan. Chakra glowing from the chakra blade in his hand. "I have a new addition to my Thunder God you may appreciate."

Phelan chuckled at his human, "Really?! Good I'm so excited! Lets get him." Naruto and Phelan exploded into movement. Itaci pulled out a kunai and his tanto. Naruto was throwing kunai across the battle ground as he was attacking and blocking.

Naruto's blade made contact with Itachi's. Spinning into a kick barely missed the older Uchiha. Jumping up Itachi threw his kunai at the Jichuriki. Naruto disappeared only for the dire wolf to grab Itachi and throw him through a building. A massive fire ball appeared but before it could hit the wolf he teleported next to Naruto. "Told you I added to it."

"We are strong but he is holding back Naruto!" Naruto knew that Phelan was right. Itachi was holding back. Even with his one tail cloak he would struggle against Itachi. Pushing Kurama's chakra into his chakra blade he pushed to engage the traitor. As he and Phelan closed in on where Itachi stood giant ribs formed around him.

Jumping Naruto spun bringing his blade down on them slicing straight through the ribs. The shock was evident in Itachi's eyes. Spinning Itachi landed a kick on Naruto sending him flying backwards. Phelan jumped in front of the blond trying to slow his momentum only to go flying with him. Before they could react a massive fire ball appeared in front of them. Naruto jumped back up to his feet and created a mud wall. Fire spread around them in a beautiful blaze.

Sasuke and Team Anko arrived to see destruction in two different zones. The Sannin were holding the four enemy shinobi back well but couldn't get back to Naruto. Chakra radiating from Naruto's location was incredible. "Sasuke you go and back up Naruto. We will reinforce the Sanin and come back to help quick okay!"

Looking at his mom he could see the fear he had. "Hai."

Natuo was face to face with Itachi's susano, "Damm, Phelan you need to go back." Naruto lost his head band somewhere.

"I'm not leaving you Naruto." Looking at the dire wolf he could see the exhaustion settling in. His own chakra was running low to. Itachi brought his toska blade up and was about to stike when a blue body formed around them. Naruto turned around to see Sasuke, "Sasuke! You pick the best timing."

Smiling at his masked brother, "Well I can't let you have all the fun." Drawing his own sword he turned to face his brother. Both Uchiha deactivated their Susano. Naruto stepped up next to Sasuke with the dire wolf in between them. "Ready you guys!"

Lauching as if rehearsed all three of them engaged Itachi. Moving as if he were possessed Itachi blocked and dodged both ninja as if they were moving in slow motion. Flipping he doubled kicked both boys sending them sliding across the ground. Using his momentum he pushed of Phelan flying into the sky.

Naruto created a two massive mud wall that came up on both sides of the Uchiha. Thirty clones on top of the wall had commenced attacks in water, wind, and lightning jutsu. Many of the attacks grazed the enemy shinobi though none seemed to get a direct hit on him. Phelan was at one end and created a chakra ball fused with Sasuke's fire ball. The attack exploded forward. Exploding into mass amount of energy creating an enormous crater.

Naruto landed next to Sasuke. His clones dispersed and Phelan was sent back home. Their chakra was almost completely depleted. Looking over Sasuke was at the same point. He may not be in as bad overall shape as Naruto but he used up incredible amounts of his chakra with his susano. At least if the blood leaking from his eyes are any indication.

"Did we get him?" Naruto surveyed the area and didn't see any sign of the boy. As if on cue his felt a surge of energy appear behind him. Swinging his chakra blade he spun around to face Itachi one last time. Sasuke mirroring him, Itachi though just grinned. Grabbing their wrists and peering into their eyes. It was to late and suddenly they were looking up at a red sky. Crows flying between them.

Looking over at his brother, Naruto should feel fear. Instead he feels a sense of piece. What did Itachi do? A giant crow landed and was replaced by Itachi. "I am sorry Sasuke. This was not how things were suppose to turn out."

Sasuke looked at his older brother. Rage filling his chest, "What do you mean?! After everything you have done you are apologizing?"

Itachi closed his eyes and let Sasuke's rage subside, "It was a necessity. I had intended for you to become more powerful so that way you would be the one to kill me so I may pay for my crimes. Unfortunately things have changed. There are things you both must know about the village."

Naruto and Sasuke looked at each other. The masked boy gave Sasuke an eye smile, "Let's here him out Sasuke." Only nodding in response they both looked at the other Uchiha. Itachi filled them in on everything. From the attempted coo, all the way to the orders of Danzo. "If Lord Fourth had been alive maybe things would have been different. I still plan on dying after my mission. Two factions have come up. One is the Akatski. The other is unknown but our leader has immense power. Pain will not allow this enemy to take over. There will be a merger and when that happens the Leaf will be I danger."

Sasuke looks at Naruto, "What do we do then. We can't kill Danzo? Can we?"

Chuckling Naruto scratched his head, "Dad will find a way just you wait!"

"Your right, if anyone can its Dad." Sasuke nodded in response.

"I am about to release you. I assume Kurama is paying attention to our talks?" Naruto just nods to the older ninja. "Good, have him give you a cloak and kick me away as soon as your released okay."

"Hai!" Naruto nodded and immediately they were back in the real world. Naruto kicked forward sending Itachi flipping backwards.

Landing next to Itachi, Kisame landed next to him looking worse for wear. "Itachi, we need to retreat. The new guys ran away and now we have to fight a squad, these brats, and the sanin."

Itachi stood up and looked back at the boys, "Fine, I will see you again little brother." With that they ran off. Naruto and Sasuke both fell to their knees in exhaustion.

"NARUTO!" Jiriaya ran up and wrapped his arms around both boys. "You two did good lets go." He picked them both up as they lost consciousness. Tsunade walked up to her old friend. Smiling she pulled off her necklace and placed it on her little Godson. "Well lets go get some rest and then we will head home." Jiriaya looked up at Tsunade in disbelief. Nodding he smiled at her.

Konoha

Izuku was sitting with Sakura and Lee outside the hospital. Sakura and Lee seem to be getting closer, something that Izuku definitely noticed. Even though he was enjoying his time with his friends, he missed Naruto and Sasuke. As they continued talking about various things Shikamaru and Choji interrupted, "Oi Izu. Have you heard anything from Sasuke or Naruto yet?"

"No not yet." Izuku looked down at his broken arms. His vision started getting blurry. Feeling a hand on his shoulder he looked back up to see Sakura smiling at him. "I'm sure they will be fine Mido. They are the strongest of our graduating class. Besides they have Anko and Jiriaya with them."

Letting his tears flow he nodded and smiled at his friends, "Right."

Shikamaru sat next to Lee, "So you guys ready to start training and missions again yet?" Lee nodded furiously at the lazy boy, "YES! I can not wait to start pushing my body! I need to catch up to Midoriya before he leaves me in the dust!"

Blushing Izuku started shaking his head, "What?! No you are super strong Lee! I really am not that special compared to Naru and Sasuke!" Choji just started laughing at the green ninja. "You're crazy if you think that you aren't special to!"

"He is right Mido." Sakura nodded, "Naruto has variety and skill unmatched by anyone in our class, Sasuke has raw talent and his bloodline ability, and you have a mind almost as sharp as Shikamaru and more raw strength then anyone else out of us genin." Izuku realized eveyone was staring at him. Suddenly he didn't know where to look.

Lee smiled at his rival, "It is true Midoriay! Neji told me about the battle in the arena. If it were not for you then he would have died." Thinking back to the events of the chunin exams. Images of Naruto and Sasuke being hurt by Orochimaru. Neji and Bakugo being wrecked by the two ninja in the arena and then the death of Lord Third. He couldn't help but feel insignificant.

Inko and Toshironi were watching the conversation from an open window in the hospital. "Inko your son has a lot of potential." The blond looked down at the young curly haired boy surrounded by his friends. "His power will surpass mine and his fathers easily."

Giving the blond a soft smile, "Yeah, he is special. I'm glad he has a chance to grow up in a place that has given him so many special people. This life would have never of happened in the Mist."

Toshironi nodded at her. She was absolutely right, the Mist was brutal before and now is in a world of utter turmoil. Not many of their bloodlines are around anymore. Most fled to the Land Hidden in the Whirlpools with his help. The day that his clan aided the Uzimaki clans still haunts him. Now though it was a small nation that rivaled the Leaf or Cloud villages in power.

Kakashi appeared behind them, "I'm glad you're both here!" Inko and Toshironi turned to meet the new Hokage. " I have a something I would like to talk to you both about." Inko looked back down at her son. She had a feeling that this would not enjoy this conversation.

Naruto woke up looking around in confusion. He was in a tent somewhere, the last thing he remembers was him and Sasuke having a conversation with Itachi. Looking over he could see his brother, "Sasuke."

The emo boy woke up and turned to see his masked brother giving him an eye smile, "Naruto. Where are we?" Sitting up he felt the exhaustion in his eyes. The mankego is still to much for him to use for to long. Naruto shrugged and laid back down looking at the ceiling to the tent. "Honestly no idea. I think the pervy sage got us out though."

The front of the tent opened and Shizune and Tsunade walked in, "That would be right brats. Your both healed up pretty well so hurry up and get dressed." Both boys jumped up and got dressed quickly not wanting to piss off a Sanin.

Walking out of their tent they saw the camp was already packed up for the most part. Genma and Raido were decked out in their ninja gear already. Anko was standing next to Jiriaya going over how they were going to get back to the village. Her trench coat was torn up pretty well from the prevoius days fight. Though both boys did notice she had both of their swords. "Hey mom!" Anko turned to face her sons. Running up she pulled them both into a crushing hug, "Don't you ever worry me like that again! GOT IT BRATS!" Naruto and Sasuke both nodded and hugged her back. "Good now lets get home we have much to talk to your father about when we get back."

After three days of traveling the group of ninja finally arrived to the front of the gate. Naruto couldn't help but feel excited to see Izu again. It has been a long time since Naruto had been away from him this long. After the gate opened they were met by several people.

Neji and Hinata were standing there along with Kakashi and Konohamaru. In Konohamaru's arms was Konoka. She had the young boys scarf in her hands making all sorts of noise. Seeing everyone in front of them made Naruto feel safer then he has felt since the attack on the village.

Sasuke saw made eye contact with both of the Hyugas. He felt warmth seeing Hinata, though he was shocked to see Neji with her. "SASUKE!" Hinata ran to the raven haired boy. Jumping he caught her wrapping his arms around her waist. "I am so happy your okay."

Sasuke smirked, "Hmph, of course I am! My head case brother has my back you know." Naruto glared at the sharingon wielder. "WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSE TO MEAN YOU JERK!"

"Okay Jirutiaya, Tsunade can you two meet me at the Tower?" Both Sanin said yes to meeting him there. Tsunade wanted to see the damage on Lee and Izuku first then she would join them. Naruto and Sasuke though insisted on talking to them in private. Kakashi knew his sons had to of had some information that would help them plan their next step.
