Author's Note: With a lot of brainstorming, it took awhile to figure out how to deal with the threats awaiting for the Uzumaki parents and it'll actually make sense and have a good ending.

Kr0n0s00: If you mean add Hinata in Naruto and Karin's relationship then I'll have to turn that down. In fact I never liked the concept of Naruto in a relationship with multiple girls at once for whatever purpose. The idea is cliche and pointless.

Chapter 9

XXXX

A Week Later - Unknown Location

In a cave was a small lantern in the center and seven astral projection figures surrounding the lantern.

"So, Orochimaru is finally dead?" Asked the figure with purple ring eyes.

Another figure nodded. "Yes. I saw it."

"Mhmm. Saves us the trouble of killing him ourselves. I wanted him gone more than I wanted those zombie duo gone." Said the shark-like figure.

"I'll have to agree with my man Kisame here, they were a pain in the ass. But still, I wanted to be the one to kill that snake myself, so who was responsible for that snake's death?" Asked the blue-eyed figure.

There was a long pause then the plant-like figure answered. "It was Sasuke Uchiha." He said.

The red eye figure eyebrow raised and Kisame chuckled. "Well well Itachi. I guess your kid brother has potential after all." Said Kisame.

Itachi kept his stoic impression but on the inside, he was relieved.

"Hey Itachi. Although I hate your guts, I'm letting you know this now. When I find your brother, I'll kill him for stealing mine and my man Sasori's kill. You got that?" Said the blue eye figure pointing at Itachi. Itachi just said nothing and just stared.

"Enough." Said the plant-like figure. "Orochimaru's death is our least concern. For the past two and a half months of searching for the nine tails Jinchuuriki, Orochimaru had him the entire time."

Everyone's eyebrow raised at that. "By any chance he's still at one of the bases, Zetsu? I hope he wasn't planning on foiling our goal." Said the purple ring eye figure.

"No. He must have already escaped. And Orochimaru had other plans to do with the Jinchuuriki." Said Zetsu.

"And what plans is that?" The purple ring eyes figure asked.

"Breeding stock." Everyone, even Tobi's eyes widened in disbelief.

"And for what reason does he need him for breeding stock?" Asked a feminate figure. "Does this have something to do with his twisted hobby?"

"Not that it matters now but he has an Uzumaki girl working for him, and with the Jinchuuriki 'help', that Uzumaki girl will give birth to his future vessel." Said the plant-like figure.

Everyone went silent and the woman furrowed her eyebrow. It's no surprise that the snake would stoop so low to get a vessel but to force a subordinate to carry his future vessel was just too much.

"Mhmm, Now I'm really glad that he's dead." Said Kisame. "I wonder what happened to that poor soul. Chances she might be dead as well."

"Playing house with the nine tails Jinchuuriki." 'Tobi' jokes.

"In other words, she escaped with the Jinchuuriki." Said the purple ring eye figure. "It wouldn't matter. That woman is our least concerned. We're still going to complete our goal."

All the astral projection figures faded and the fire in the lantern extinguish.

Meanwhile in Konoha - Hokage Office

"What the hell do you mean Orochimaru's dead?" Tsunade exclaimed, not believing the information Jiraiya told her is true.

Jiraiya sighed. "I didn't believe it either but that's what my spy network said. And the culprit is none other than Sasuke Uchiha." Said Jiraiya. "It wouldn't take long to figure out why he did it. Guessing he took in Naruto's words at their last fight and prepared for it. I don't think he's coming back anytime now."

Tsunade nodded. Sasuke only wanted power and he didn't care how he got it. But Sasuke wasn't stupid, he knew what he was getting into, but if it means to get stronger to kill Itachi then he'll take the risk.

"Do you think Naruto would be pleased to hear Sasuke killed Orochimaru?" Tsunade asked.

Jiraiya shakes his head. "After what Sasuke did to Sakura, I doubt neither Naruto or the Haruno family would care about Sasuke's well-being. Though, Naruto is a forgiving person so it's debatable how he'll handle the news."

"To both of our relief, Naruto has no interest in getting revenge." Said Jiraiya, earning a nod from Tsunade. Naruto is never one to kill unless it's do or die, but picturing Naruto kills just made Tsunade shiver.

"I wouldn't imagine him doing that, especially when he has a kid on the way." Said Tsunade.

Jiraiya nodded. Parenthood can change people, even if the person is cold hearted, that child will be the light of their world.

"Speaking of that, any sign of Kabuto Yakushi?" Tsunade asked. Even if Orochimaru is dead, they'll still have to worry about his four-eyed lapdog. He can still proceed with Orochimaru's plans. He might not take bodies like Orochimaru, but he can still make use of their child.

(I just realized Kabuto doesn't have a reason to take over the baby's body, so my mistake. But that doesn't mean Naruto and Karin are out of the woods with him yet.)

Jiraiya shakes his head. "He vanished. Probably planning to get his revenge on Sasuke before he comes after Naruto." Said Jiraiya. "Besides, he's not on the same level as Orochimaru and he knows he can't take the entire village out by himself."

That was a fact that Tsunade can agree with. Kabuto isn't stupid, he knows when he's being out classed.

"And what about Orochimaru's experiments, his files, anything?" Tsunade asked.

"The experiments are still there but the files are gone. I assume Kabuto took it with him." Said Jiraiya.

"So what do you plan on doing about this situation?" Asked Jiraiya.

"Kabuto is my least concern. Sasuke on the other hand is top priority so I'll send a group to take him in." Said Tsunade. "Bring me Naruto."

Jiraiya held his hand up. "Now hold up hime. Do you think Naruto is in good shape to go back out and face Sasuke? Physically and mentally?"

Jiraiya was right, what the hell she was thinking. Naruto hasn't been in commission for over a month, not that he's a slouch but he needs to get back together. But she need Naruto in this mission and God knows what Sasuke could be doing right now.

Then she thought of a good plan. "Jiraiya, I'm putting you in search of Sasuke. You'll be the one to lead team 8 and 10." Said Tsunade.

Jiraiya nodded. "Okay but what does this mean for Naruto?" He asked.

Tsunade smiled. "I already thought about that."

Meanwhile - Underground Location

Danzo was in his chair and on his desk were classified files. "Were you caught?" He asked.

The root member shakes his head. "No sir. They never noticed me."

"Good." He said. "It's a shame Sai didn't complete his mission. Nonetheless, tools will be tools." As he looked through the files and saw all kinds of secrets and projects, until one caught his eye.

Age: 15

Classification: Sensor Type

Occupation: Mother of the Vessel

"Lord Danzo, I also found this tape recorder. Shall I play it?" The root member asked and Danzo nodded.

The tape recorder played and it revealed Kabuto's voice. "The artificial insemination was a success. No shock considering the subject is an Uzumaki so it shouldn't be a problem to use Naruto as breeding stock for dear Karin. Now Lord Orochimaru can have a backup vessel." The recorder stops.

"Just like Kabuto, this girl is one of Orochimaru's subordinates. And she's with child with Konoha's weapon?" He asked himself.

"What shall we do Lord Danzo?" The root member asked. "Shall we eliminate the threat?"

Danzo thinks for a moment. "Orochimaru is dead now so she's not a threat. However the child on the other hand, I see a way that this can benefit both me and the village." Danzo said, already coming up with a plan.
