Ryuga was not happy. Midoriya had convinced him that they didn't have to leave so early. So here he was thirty minutes before class and was surrounded by reporters. They tried swarming him but after a sharp glare they parted like the Red Sea. Midoriya and Uraraka took the chance to follow Ryuga through the reporters while Iida stayed back and gave an interview. Aizawa was at the gate and was trying to get the crowd to disburse. When Ryuga walked in with Midoriya and Uraraka he sent them to class. One of the reporters tried to follow them in a large steel wall called the U.A. Barrier came out of the ground. As everyone entered the room, class started. Aizawa began class with an announcement "Decent work on yesterday's combat training, you guys. I saw the video feeds and went over each of your team's results. Bakugo. You're talented. So don't sulk like a child about your loss, okay? And Midoriya.I see the only way you won the match was by messing up your arm again. Work harder. And don't give me the excuse that you don't have control over your Quirk. That line's already getting old. You can't keep breaking your body while training here. But your Quirk will be really useful if you can get a handle on it. So show a little urgency, huh?" Midoriya while was Let's get down to business. Our first task will decide your future." The entire class held their breath. "You all need to pick a class representative." The class exploded into noise as everyone tried to convince everyone else to make them class rep. The only exception was Ryuga who didn't care. Eventually Iida proposed that they vote for their school rep. While everyone was voting for themselves, Ryuga pawned it off on Midoriya. In the end Midoriya won the election with Momo Yaoyorozu as the vice rep. At lunch Ryuga, Midoriya, Uraraka, and Iida all sat together. Uraraka said "It's always so crowded here." Iida told her "That's because support, business, and general studies eat here too." Midoriya sighs before saying "Guys, I'm worried about the class rep thing. I don't think I'm qualified." Iida and Uraraka quickly countered that notion. Uraraka said " sure you are" while Iida said "you'll be great. Your courage and quick thinking will help make you a worthy leader. Not to mention the strength you demonstrated. Those are the reasons I voted for you." "You were one of the three? But what about you Ryuga? What do you think?" Midoriya asked. Ryuga said "I didn't want the job and you are the only one I respect enough to lead." Uraraka then asked "But didn't you want to be class rep really badly Iida. I mean you do look the part. Because of the glasses and all" Iida said "Wanting a job and being suited for it are two separate things. Observing the Iida family hero agency has taught me that much. Uraraka and Midoriya both asked "Agency?" Midoriya then asked "wait what does your family do?" Uraraka looked at Iida and said "You know, I've been wondering something about you Iida. Admit it, you're totally super rich." Iida then explained that his family had been pro heros for generations and that his brother was a pro hero. Ryuga didn't really care. It doesn't matter who your family is, all that matters is how strong you are.
Ryuga started to zone out when an alarm started to blare. While everyone else panicked and crowded the hallway, Ryuga got up slowly and began walking. Hoping to avoid the congested hallway, Ryuga walked down a different path. Walking down another hallway Ryuga found an open door. Ryuga looked inside but he found Nothing. He didn't notice that a filing cabinet had been unlocked.
While Ryuga was wandering around, Midoriya, Uraraka, and Iida were struggling with the mob. While Iida praised the students for acting quickly, Midoriya pointed out that they were causing a panic before he was swallowed by the crowd. Iida pushed his way to the glass to see who was trespassing. "It's the press!" Iida says in shock. He tries to tell everyone but he couldn't be heard over the crowd. He sees two of his classmates get overwhelmed. When Iida heard Uraraka he came up with a plan. "Uraraka," Iida called out, "make me float." Uraraka used her quirk on Iida and made him weightless. Acting quickly Iida used his quirk to launch himself to the front of the crowd. Above one the wall above the exit Iida said "listen up everything is okay. It's just the media outside. There is absolutely nothing wrong. Everything is fine. We're U.A. students we have to show everyone we're the best." The mob began to calm down and noticed that the police had arrived. As the mob dispersed Midoriya looked at Iida with a smile. He knew what he should do.
When the students returned to the home room they found Ryuga already sitting at his desk. When the class asked how he got there first he said " I took a different hallway." Midoriya and Yaoyorozu stood up at the front. "Alright class rep time to begin." Yaoyorozu said. Midoriya, stuttering, said "Um ok so we need to figure out who the other class officers will be, but first there's something that I want to say. I thought a lot about this and I think that Iida should be our class rep. He was able to get everyone's attention and get us in line so I believe that he should be the one to lead our class from now on." While most of the class verbally agree, Ryuga is left in a minor state of confusion. After that everyone went home. Ryuga and Midoriya walked home and Ryuga once again chose the longest and hardest route back. While they were walking Ryuga spoke to Midoriya. "When we get to the house we are going to begin the next phase of your training." Midoriya asked "what's the next step?" Ryuga responded saying " Meditation and combat training." Midoriya was surprised. "I can understand Meditation but why combat training. Don't we already do combat training at school?" Ryuga tells Midoriya "If we only train at school we won't get anywhere. While we are already training your body we need to train your power to. If we aren't proactive in its training you will never progress." Midoriya accepted that answer and continued walking
Once they got home they had dinner then went to Izuku's room to begin their meditation practice. Ryuga started by saying "this power you have is born of humanity. It is hope, it is the strength of humanity, but even one human can change everything. Since this power is born of humanity only a human can overcome it. You can not fight it, you must merge with it, and in doing so make it your own. Let your power flow through you." Izuku focused on One for all. He let it flow through his arms, his hands, his legs, "Stop. You're forcing it. Your power is like an ocean and your trying to put it all into one container." Ryuga chastised "Instead bring it all up at once. Let the power flow. Fill the entire container but don't force it all in." This time Midoriya let One for All completely fill his body. The power it brought put a ton of mental strain on him but he did it. "Good now hold it for as long as you can." Midoriya held the power for about ten minutes before it became too much. Ryuga had Midoriya practice holding One of all for as long as possible over and over until Midoriya couldn't summon the power any more. As Ryuga and Midoriya finished their training Muku wandered into the room. "Hey, Muku, you should be in bed." Ryuga said. "I couldn't sleep. I was hoping that you could tell me a story," Muku said. So Ryuga brought Muku back to bed and told him a story about a star that fell from the sky.
The next day was pretty normal until the second half of the day. Aizawa said "Today will be a little different. You'll have three instructors. Me, All Might, and another faculty member. Today will be rescue training. You'll be dealing with artificial disasters." While everyone was excited about the training, Ryuga was thinking about how he never really helped anyone in the past. He had been so focused on himself and in the end it cost him. Still he was able to save Muku and that was real. Saving fake people would be a breeze. When the cases came out of the wall Ryuga grabbed his Noe B case and Immediately got changed. Back in his regular outfit Ryuga rejoined his class. Midoriya was the only one not in his costume. Iida began trying to get everyone to board the bus according to the seating chart but the bus had an open layout which according to him ruined his boarding plan. While on the way Asui, the girl with the frog quirk decided to say, "There's something I want to say about your quirk Midoriya. Your strength is a lot like All Might's." Midoriya started to freak out but before he could say anything Ryuga said, "Super strength is one of the most common quirks out there. Most people even have it as a secondary mutation to help them handle their quirks." Another student, Kirishima, said, "Plus All Might doesn't hurt himself. That makes a huge difference. Still must be nice to have a simple argumenting quirk. My hardening is strong but it isn't very flashy." Another student, Aoyama, says that his power was the perfect mix of power and flash, however it pointed out that his weakness is pretty lame and he could only use his power for a short while. "Yah well if anyone has pro level quirks it's Bakugo, Ryuga, and Todoroki" Kirishima said. "Yeah but Bakugo's too angry so he'll never be popular." Asui pointed out. Bakugo responded by threatening her but the rest of the bus ride devolved to making fun of Bakugo.
Once they reached the facility the class was met by another pro hero, Thirteen, a rescue specialist. She explains all of the locations in the building, which is called the USJ. When Aizawa asks where All Might is, Ryuga overhears Thirteen telling him that All Might used up all his power. "That man is the height of irresponsibility," Aizawa says, "Well it should be good enough with the two of us. Let's get started." Thirteen said, "Great. Before we begin I have one or two things I'd like to say. Or three or four. Listen up. I am sure many of you are aware that I have an extremely powerful quirk. It's called black hole and it lets me suck up anything and turn it into dust." Midoriya yells, "You've used black hole to save thousands of people all over the world." "That's true but it could easily be used to kill," Thirteen said, "I'm sure many of you have an ability like this. In Aizawa's fitness test you saw the limits of your power. In All Might's combat training you learned what it was like to use your quirks against another person. Now you'll learn how to use your quirks to save people." As the class cheered, Ryuga noticed a strange presence. He noticed a distortion in the air that put him on edge. Suddenly the distortion exploded into a black mass. Out of the darkness came people. Dozens of villains. The one that looked the most threatening was the one with human hands, the black mass and a massive brute with a bird's beak. Aizawa told everyone to stay back and that this was real. Great. It look like all these villains were stuck in here with them.
