Izumi stared at the door to class A1, she was scared and entering this door would mean a lot of paths would close to her. Yes she had told her friends that she would transfer classes at the first sign of trouble but it was a bluff. Izumi swallowed her fear and opened the to. The first thing she saw was Tenya trying to explain to Bakugo why he shouldn't have his feet up. Tenya was clearly in a losing battle and he knew it but had dug himself into a hole that he needed help to get out of.
"Tenya I recommend walking away, Bakugo came from a school that fed his ego and he isn't going to listen to anyone that he deems an extra" explained Izumi.
Bakugo looked at her then looked at her and closed his eyes. Tenya looked at her then at Bakugo as he took his seat. Ochako came in as the bell rang, as she attempted to close the door she found it blocked. Looking down to see what the obstruction was, she yelped in surprise at the sight of a large yellow caterpillar. Everyone stared at the caterpillar as it inched it's way in.
"It took you 8 seconds to notice that your comrade was in danger, if I had been a villain she would already be dead" said the caterpillar.
The caterpillar raised itself revealing that it in fact a human in a sleeping bag. From the darkness of the bag they pulled out gym uniforms.
"Get dressed and meet me outside" demanded the man in the sleeping bag.
The class headed to the changing rooms talking amongst themselves. Izumi and Ochako separated from the guys and entered the ladies room. Izumi quickly changed as she was worried Aizawa would yell them if they weren't fast enough. She turned when she heard what sounded like a pain yelp and a girl with long earlobes removing one from a hole in the wall, it was clear she wasn't hurt but from expression her face, Izumi felt that it was best not to ask questions.
"Good now that you are all here, you'll be doing fitness tests, only this time you can use your quirks, whomever comes in last place will be expelled.
Bakugo laughed as he wasn't worried. Aizawa looked at him then tossed him a ball.
"Since you volunteered, toss this ball as far as you can, we saw your raw power in the entrance exam as you earned second place with highest villain score, now lets see how well you do with a skill test" said Aizawa.
Izumi realized the problem immediately and took a step back, the rest of the class save for those who knew talked about how that was possible.
"The hell do you mean I got second place if I got the most villain points!" demanded Bakugo.
"First place got 0 villain points, as they lacked the means or know how to fight robots, however due to a situation far outside anyone's control, 1st place was 200 rescue points, a score that will never be achieved again if this school can help it" explained Aizawa.
A girl with ponytail raised her hand.
"What Yaoyorozu?" sighed Aizawa.
"I was a recommended applicant; I was asked not to leave the school grounds as we were told that there was an applicant who could use quirk energy to heal, did they receive extra points for that?" asked Yaoyorozu.
"Yes as a special circumstance they were given extra points, however each person who stayed also gained 5 points as well" explained Aizawa.
"I had thought there was a misunderstanding on how their quirk worked but now I am interested in learning more about it" explained Yaoyorozu.
Izumi pretended to stare at something in the distance while Bakugo gave her a death glare.
"She's an energy vampire, she can pull quirk energy directly or indirectly from her victims, her touch causes pain and that's why she has to shave her head" said Bakugo.
"Fascinating" said Yaoyorozu.
Izumi tried not to look as several pairs of eyes landed on her, some like her past classmates were clearly uncomfortable with her presence, others gave her silent thanks.
"We don't have all day people, there are many tests to run and someone to expel for coming in last" demanded Aizawa.
"What!" asked Mina.
"I'm not going to keep those who failures, whoever comes in last doesn't need to worry about coming in tomorrow" said Aizawa.
"Can I throw the fucking ball or not?" demanded Bakugo.
"Stand on the x and toss the ball on my signal" said Aizawa.
Sometime later.
"Welcome to the USJ, today we are going to learn about environmental dangers and the corresponding rescue efforts involved" said a person in an astronaut suit.
"OMG you're!" squealed Ochako.
"I am" said the hero.
"Can I get your autograph?" asked Ochako.
13 wanted to say yes but she could feel Aizawa staring daggers at her.
"Of course but we have a busy day and we can do it before you leave" said 13 with a chuckle.
"Why the hell are we here" demanded Bakugo.
"Because fighting villains won't be the only thing you do as a hero" said Aizawa.
Izumi sorta listened as 13 spoke but she was more interested in the different area's, she noticed the boat in the water and wondered how her smoke form would work underwater. She felt a strange sensation then quickly realized it was several quirks entering her area of influence suddenly. At the same time she and Aizawa saw a black mist forming.
"13 get the kids out of here" demanded Aizawa.
Everyone turned to watch as the mist turned into a vortex and 3 people entered the building. A skinny blond man, a man with hands on him and a large black monster, the portal disappeared then reappeared behind the students, a dozen villains emerged, one of them made a beeline for 13 and sliced her. The mist formed into a person and stood before Aizawa.
"Shigaraki would like to speak to you" said the mist villains.
A portal was opened behind Aizawa that pulled him, Izumi and Mineta in then spat them out in front of the 3 villains at the bottom of the stairs.
"Nomu destroy Eraser Head" said the guy with many hands.
The creature with an exposed brain ran forward and tried to grab Aizawa only the hero rolled away then got back up just as quickly. This thing being a mutant type meant he couldn't use his quirk.
"Not that it matters but I am Shigaraki and brought this Nomu here to kill All Might but since he's not here, I'll settle for killing you" laughed the hand covered villain.
"Midoriya, Mineta run!" demanded Aizawa.
Mineta didn't need to be told twice but the skinny blond guy was faster and grabbed him.
"I hope you didn't poop that diaper" laughed Otto.
Otto lifted Mineta up into the air and unhinged his jaw. Mineta seeing the dark abyss, screamed and began tossing the balls down into the man's gullet. All but 1 fell into stomach, one of them did stick to the back of his throat. Otto laughed which with his mull opened sounded horrifying then dropped Mineta into his stomach.
"Ew he peed himself" muttered Otto.
Otto turned towards Izumi who was standing there frozen in fear, the minute he took a step towards her, she turned to smoke and grabbed Aizawa as well.
"Turn me back, I can deal with them, get the others out of here now!" demanded Aizawa.
"I don't know how many I can carry" said Izumi.
"You're a hero in training, go find out!" stated Aizawa.
Izumi split the smoke that contained Aizawa and placed him further from the Nomu to give him some breathing room. She was heading back to her classmates when she heard someone coughing. She turned around to see the blond man's face turn blue as he struggled to breath.
"Dammit, there goes my inheritance" muttered Shigaraki.
"Midoriya go!" yelled Aizawa.
Izumi moved as quickly as she could in her smoke form, once she reached the top of the stairs she took in the scene before her, multiple villains were frozen in ice, the entrance was blown open and Idia was gone, she assumed he had gone for help. Ochako and Kirishima were trying to keep some villains from 13, so Izumi made her choice, she flew over and grabbed 13 then one of the villains as she turned human. The villain screamed in pain then fell to his knees as 13 stood up.
"Thank you, where's Aizawa?" asked 13
"Trying to fight a mutant type that is under the control of guy with an unknown quirk" said Izumi.
"Did he give you any orders?" asked 13 knocking a villain out.
"Use my quirk to get my classmates out" said Izumi.
"What's that?" asked 13
"I can turn myself to smoke and others as well but I don't know how many" said Izumi.
"Change of plan, capture as many villains as possible and hold them until Iida returns with reinforcements" said 13.
Izumi returned to smoke form and swept around the area snatching villains, many of her classmates were surprised but relived, Bakugo was mad as he wasn't done fighting, Izumi had grabbed 10 villains before she couldn't take anymore, and villains that had still been standing quickly fell without the others.
"Kirishima, Kaminari stay here, if Midoriya can't hold them, knock them out, Bakugo, Todoroki, Shinso with me, Yaoyorozu, Asui, Ashido, Uraraka, hold the stairs, the rest of you keep watch over the subdued villains" commanded 13
The girls quickly surrounded the stairs as 13 and the boys went to help Aizawa. Kirishima and Kaminari watched the unmoving green smoke.
"She's not moving, is she ok" asked Kaminari.
"No idea" said Kirishima.
"Let us out!" screamed several villains as they tried to attack her.
Izumi groaned as kept screaming. They were loud and annoying.
"What kind of quirks do you guys have?" asked Izumi.
"Let us out! demanded several villains.
"Ventriloquism" said a grey skinned man with one eye.
Izumi looked at him for a minute.
"How's your depth perception?" asked Izumi.
"This isn't my real eye, my real eyes are above it and blend in with my skin, this fake eye is more like a second brain that is covered in a hard shell like my finger nails" explained the villain.
"So you have super intelligence then?" asked Izumi.
"No, this second brain is more like a catalog system, it records anything in a given area up to three miles then I can use one of those items to throw my voice" explained the villain.
"Thats pretty cool" said Izumi.
"Thank you" said the villain.
"So why a villain, you could be a voice actor or a magician or a ventriloquist" stated Izumi.
"Not very good at the whole not moving my mouth thing, also I was screwing around with my power one day and got branded a villain because I accidently helped some guys rob a bank" sighed the villain.
"You don't have mental audio control?" asked Izumi.
The guy shrugged as he had never thought about trying that.
"Oh oh!, my quirk is boil, I cause boils to appear on people's bodies" said a man covered head to toe in blue rubber. Everyone else backed away.
"Can you boil water?" asked Izumi.
"Not with my quirk, they don't even fill with puss, they just hurt" said the guy.
"School bully?" asked Izumi.
"Yeah I peaked in high school" said the guy.
"I can't think of anything" said Izumi.
"Nah it's cool, I kinda figured" said the guy.
With that the villain Izumi decided to call the Boiler led the villains in another chant of letting them out. Izumi tuned them out as she tried to think of ways she could expand her ability to hold more people or move at all, she also wondered if she could still be harmed while in smoke form, she was brought of her thoughts when an immense force pulled her smoke form, concentrating she outside her smoke form and realized that it was All Might running past her that forced the air to pull her fro her current spot. She then noticed she was being observed by Nezu who was surrounded by the U.A hero's.
It took Izumi a minute to figure out to speak in her smoke form, it caused vibrations that felt weird to her but she also liked it.
"Can I let them out now?" asked Izumi.
"The cops and other hero's are busy with other villain attacks, we need you to hold them for as long as possible please" explained Nezu.
"Ok" said Izumi.
They then heard a scream of pain from below the stairs.
"What happened!" demanded Nezu looking over at the girls.
"The guy covered in hands just did something to Todoroki's arm, it just fell off" yelled Mina
Nezu pointed at Snipe and another hero who ran off down the stairs. Snipe covered his partner as he fired shot after shot at the enemy below, the other hero returned with Todoroki minus his right arm which was severed at the elbow with decaying flesh and black blood dripping from it. Hero's mumbled amongst themselves clearly horrified.
"Sir" said Izumi.
"Everyone get ready, Izumi now" said Nezu.
"Izumi turned human causing many of the villains to fall into a heap. She grabbed a villain then Todoroki. Both of them screamed in pain as everyone watched as the rot cleared away and the blood turned red. His arm slowly began to regrow, bones sprouting up then nerves and muscle wrapped around the bones before new skin covered the area. Fire erupted from his arm then turned to ice. The villain who had been screaming started moaning when the skin grew but was now no longer making a sound. Izumi jumped back in fear when she saw that man had been reduced to a withered husk before both his heart and quirk went out.
