"Gomen for blowing you off the day before, Usa," said a 22-year-old, black haired male, Son Goten, "It wasn't my intention."
"Why did you do that in the first place," questioned a 21-year-old, silver-blonde haired female, Tsukino Usagi, "I couldn't hear what you were saying because it was loud on your side of the conversation."
For the past week, Goten was getting ready for his date with his girlfriend, Usagi, when he was literally dragged away by his best friend Trunks' father, Vegeta. Goten complained that he was going to be missing his girlfriend, yet Vegeta wouldn't budge. He literally volunteered Trunks and Goten to go into space just to help save the world by gathering the Black Star Dragon Balls. While they all were preparing, Goten called Usagi and was yelling into the cell phone about why he had to cancel their date. He, however, was sadly left behind when the spaceship literally took off without him. Now, here he was, in front of Usagi's apartment with a bouquet of flowers and apologizing to her. "You… couldn't hear me," questioned Goten.
"Īe," said Usagi.
"Ah, well," said a laughing Goten nervously, "Funny you should question it. It seems as though the world is in danger… again."
"Eh," questioned Usagi before narrowing her eyes, "Explain."
"Well, you know how I told you about the Dragon Balls," questioned Goten.
"Un," nodded Usagi.
"Well," said Goten, "It seems as though there was another type of Dragon Balls hidden due to their negative powers. If someone wishes on them, it scatters into the galaxies and a countdown for Earth to be destroyed happens."
"E-Eh," gasped out Usagi.
"Yeah," said Goten who rubbed the back of his head, "If these Dragon Balls aren't returned at a certain time, Earth is… uh…"
"Destroyed," said Usagi, "Does this mean I should gather the girls and prepare their planets just in case?"
"You can DO that," asked a surprised Goten.
Even though Usagi and Goten dated since college… even though Usagi told her story about being a reincarnated hime from the Moon… Goten was still a bit scatterbrained when it came to her information and what the girls and she could do to help Earth survive. Usagi gave a deadpanned look at Goten as he backed up a bit and laughed nervously. Usagi knew that she couldn't really stay mad at Goten, especially when he looked so cute in his awkward pose. Giggling inwardly, Usagi stepped towards Goten before giving him a kiss on the lips. "Don't worry about it, Goten," said Usagi with a smile, "I know for a fact that sometimes I'll forget about things you tell me."
"Still," said Goten.
"Now," interrupted Usagi, "If you are not with Trunks and your tōsan, then who IS with them? Do I also need to make a call to Puu for you?"
"I… actually don't know who is with Trunks and tōsan right now," said Goten, "Though, maybe we should alert Pluto to see if she can watch over them? Just in case we have to act, of course."
"Of course," said Usagi with a giggle.
"And afterwards," said Goten who wrapped an arm around Usagi, "We can have that missed date."
- Nine Months Later –
"Usagi," called out Goten.
Goten was running a bit late to meet up with his girlfriend. It was, however, rare for him to be the one that was late. Yet, here the couple was. Goten was running late due to gaining news from Bulma that his dad, Trunks, and, apparently, his niece Pan were returning with the seven Black Star Dragon Balls. It seemed as though their mission was a success, and they were flying back to Earth. Even though Goten was excited, he was not pleased to be held back by his family and friends on setting up a party for the returned heroes. That planning made him late to meet up with Usagi in town. "Gomen for being late," said Goten.
"It's fine," said Usagi, "After all, I am sometimes late to meet up with you. Now, we're even."
"Even," smirked Goten, "I don't think so, koi. You've been late more times than I have."
"True," giggled Usagi, "Demo, you still love me, faults and all, ne?"
"Of course," said Goten who placed his arm over Usagi's shoulders, "Now, let's go to that movie I promised you we'd watch."
After the movie, a few kisses, and lunch, Goten and Usagi were walking down the street. It was there that things turned things for the worse. Just as the couple stopped to share some soft serve cones together, an explosion interrupted the peaceful atmosphere for the couple. Goten and Usagi both groaned out together. They knew that with their luck, it was a new enemy gunning for Usagi's heirloom, the Ginzuishō. Both quickly ate their soft serve before rushing towards the explosion. There, they saw Satan-san and a muscular man in a confrontation. Goten was the one who addressed Satan-san while the couple walked up to him. Satan-san, however, roped Goten into fighting the muscular man. Usagi, on the other hand, sighed as Goten and Usagi got into a whispered conversation. "Goten," said Usagi.
"Hai," questioned Goten.
"This muscular man," said Usagi, "I'm getting bad vibes from him."
"You don't think," said Goten.
"He might be the one doing all the explosions that we were rushing towards to," said Usagi.
"Guess I have to fight him," said Goten.
"I'll be here on standby, just in case," said Usagi.
Goten nodded his head as he turned towards the muscular man. With one kick, Goten sent the muscular man sailing into another building. He didn't know what this person wanted, but it wasn't long that others went to target Goten. Usagi, who was biting her lower lip, grew worried because it seemed as though all of them were focused on Goten. It didn't take long to apprehend the three before the couple thought they were all done with whatever was going on. It was quick and easy until a fourth person came. This person actually got a punched on Goten until a weird thing started to happen in front of the couple. The person lunched forward just as Goten stood in front of Usagi to protect her. Both watched on just as green light started to illuminate the person before… "What the…," started Goten.
"This is getting more confusing," said Usagi.
"You've got that right," said Goten.
"You're Saiyajin, aren't you," questioned a diminutive being with blue eyes and wearing a weird bodysuit.
"Who are you," questioned Goten.
"I feel it," chuckled the being, "It's the same ki as Son Goku and the others."
"You know my tōsan," questioned a surprised Goten.
"Ah," said the being, "So, you're that runt's son? laughs This will be interesting."
"Goten," murmured a worried Usagi.
With that, the being ran towards Goten and started to battle him. Goten, however, picked up Usagi and flew up just as the being extracted a large amount of ki that destroyed a lot of buildings. As Usagi and Goten watched in the skies, they were horrified that the being flew up to meet up with them. Goten, on his part, was worried that Usagi was going to get hurt before blasting off with her towards a remote location. It wasn't long that Goten placed Usagi down in a forest before meeting with the being head on in the sky. Usagi, on her part, gasped as she watched the battle unfold against this being and Goten. However, the being got the upper hand, making Goten turn into a Super Saiyajin. That was a mistake… on Goten's part. Once the being hurt Goten, it liquefied itself before going straight into Goten. Usagi gasped as Goten looked like he was fighting the being within himself before he turned slacked and… "Power," laughed out a possessed Goten, "He's filled with power! So, this is a Saiyajin's power, huh?"
"Goten," murmured Usagi as she listened to her now possessed boyfriend.
"Now, to find the other Saiyajins," said a smirking possessed Goten before leaving Usagi in the forest.
"Great," groaned out Usagi, "Goten let his guard down, got hurt, and is now being possessed. I know that I promised him not to use it, demo desperate times call for desperate measures."
- A Couple Of Hours Later –
"You have GOT to be kidding me," groaned out Usagi.
It took a long while for Usagi to transform into Sailor Moon and fly with her white wings before finding Goten fighting… against… Gohan?! Usagi groaned out once more just as she found her missing possessed boyfriend fighting against Gohan in the mountain region. She knew that she will be way too wasted once she uses the Ginzuishō, yet this was her boyfriend. She also didn't want this being to possess Gohan as well. Flying as fast as her white wings could, Usagi got in front of Gohan right as a body of yellow ki was going right at him. "Nani," questioned a surprised Gohan.
"Dare (Who)," questioned the possessed Goten.
"You have a lot of nerve to possess my boyfriend like that, evil being," said Usagi.
"B-B-Boyfriend," asked a surprised Gohan.
"Goten didn't want to tell his family because he said something about his crazy kāsan," said Usagi with a questioning tone.
"Ahahaha," laughed Gohan nervously, "Yeah. Kāsan tends to overreact."
"Anyways," said Usagi, "I have the powers to free Goten. Though, with him being weakened by you, it makes what I can do to help much easier."
"Really," questioned Gohan.
Usagi just winked at Gohan before turning to the possessed Goten. Usagi mentally apologized to Goten as she closed her eyes and concentrated. Both the possessed Goten and the hurt Gohan looked at Usagi in awe as a bright silver light emanated around Usagi before her outfit shifted to that of a white flowing gown with white shoulder pieces that disconnected from her dress, an intricately decorated bodice with gold hoops, and a white gauzy bow with long fluttery ribbons trailing behind her back. Within her hands, the half-Saiyajins could see a silver crystal floating and emanating the same silver light that surrounded Usagi. "Uwa ̄(Woah)," said Gohan.
"Hahaha," laughed the possessed Goten, "A change of clothes? Is that what you are going to do to defeat me?"
"Laugh all you want, evil being," said Usagi, "Because in the end, I'll get the last laugh."
"Oh yeah," said the possessed Goten, "What are you going to do? Throw that crystal at me and hope I be defeated?"
"Something like that," said a smirking Usagi.
"Eh," questioned a confused Gohan and the possessed Goten before…
"Silver Moon Crystal Eternal Power," called out Usagi.
After Usagi called out her attack, the crystal pulsed more and more as silver light was created. That concentrated silver light was then shot out of the crystal as an energy beam that went towards the possessed Goten. Said possessed Goten yelled out his own attack before flinging it towards Usagi's silver one. Both powers connected before clashing. The possessed Goten didn't know why, but he knew that whatever this power was, he felt like he shouldn't let it hit him. He, however, wasn't lucky due to fighting against Gohan and exhausting himself further. Gohan watched on as the silver light overtook Goten's attack before it engulfed Goten fully. Gohan saw Goten cry out as the silver light surrounded his little brother just as he saw an evil being with blue eyes being wiped out of existence. He blinked as the silver light slowly left Goten before engulfing him slightly, healing his own injuries. He shook his head just as he heard Goten groan out. "Ugh," groaned Goten, "Anyone got that number on that truck."
"I'm not sure about a truck, otōto," said a bemused Gohan, "Demo, you should thank your girlfriend for freeing you from that evil being."
"Huh," questioned Goten as he blinked before… "Sailor Moon!"
Gohan watched on as Goten flew towards the mysterious warrior, this Sailor Moon, and caught her before she could fall from where they were. Gohan mentally slapped his forehead for not watching Sailor Moon just as her white wings disappeared from her body as fatigue took over. He could, however, see the worry and love Goten had for Sailor Moon. He DID wonder who actually Sailor Moon was as he watched Goten look over Sailor Moon for any injuries. Besides the fatigue, Sailor Moon had no injuries whatsoever. "Gohan," questioned Goten.
"Hai," asked Gohan.
"You have a Senzu bean on you," questioned Goten.
"Oh," said Gohan as he face-palmed, "Right!"
Gohan gotten a pouch out of his pocket and handed it to Goten. Goten opened the pouch and took one green bean out. Throwing the closed pouch back to Gohan, Goten placed the bean into Usagi's mouth and gently made Usagi eat it. Goten could tell that the bean did its job just as Usagi groaned out while opening her eyes. Goten sighed with relief as his black eyes met with those crystal blue eyes he loves so much. Usagi, on her part, blinked her eyes to get her vision back in focus before launching herself into Goten's arms. "Don't scare me like that," said Usagi within Goten's neck.
"Gomen," said Goten, "Didn't mean to worry you."
"You got possessed," said Usagi, "So, I had to break my promise to you."
"I could tell," said Goten, "Though, to be fair, I think I'm glad that you did this. We don't even know what that being would have done otherwise."
"Un," nodded Usagi against Goten.
"Um," said Gohan, "Not to interrupt your moment, demo, you going to introduce us, Goten?"
"Ah, nīsan," said Goten, "This is my girlfriend of about two years… Sailor Moon."
"Also known as Tsukino Usagi," said Usagi as she de-henshin.
"Nice to meet you," said a surprised Gohan, "And arigatō for trusting me with your identity."
"I figured that since Goten trusts you, I will too," said Usagi.
Gohan smiled at Usagi. He could tell that Usagi meant the world to Goten… just like him with his wife, Videl. He wondered… if Usagi was now being introduced to him, would Goten finally tell their kāsan about her? If so, he was so not going to miss that event. Goten, who also knew what Gohan was thinking about, just glared at him. Even though he knew that it was probably time for Usagi to meet the family, he wasn't going to look forward to it. He just knew that his family would probably embarrass him with his childhood days. "Don't even think about it, nīsan," said Goten.
"Fine, fine," said Gohan with a small chuckle.
"Anyways," said Usagi, "Before you fought, did you even get the being's name?"
"I'm also curious as to why this being came here," said Gohan.
"Well," said Goten in confusion, "To tell you the truth, the being didn't even tell me its name. All I know was that it was finding Saiyajins and trying to harness our powers."
"So, we dodged a huge battle with Usagi-san's help, eh," questioned Gohan.
"Un," nodded the couple.
"Though," said Goten, "Once tōsan comes back, we can ask him about the being."
"Eh," questioned Gohan, "Dōshite (Why)?"
"Apparently," said Goten, "The being and tōsan fought each other."
"Eh," exclaimed a surprised Gohan.
"Eh," shrugged Usagi, "At least, the being wasn't after me this time."
"Don't I know it," groaned out Goten.
"Dōshite," questioned Gohan once more.
"The crystal I used is an heirloom," said Usagi, "Somehow… someway… I am always targeted to get to the crystal by evil beings. Though, if it is stolen, I turn evil or I die."
"Eh," yelped out Gohan.
"And that is why I made you promise not to use it," said Goten.
"Un," nodded Usagi.
"I am so confused," said Gohan with a sigh, "Please explain."
"Well, it all started over a millennia ago…"
