R&R longer note at the end

Asuka sat watching Ryōki looking over Kafuru concern evident in her face as she processed the news they had heard in the village, was it not enough that this human witch took over her village but now she would choose to use them for her own means but just what was her plan? Why did she need the viera and what part would the miqo'te's have to play in it?

"I've finished my exam" Ryōki said finally as Asuka looked up getting to her feet ready to take in every word "She'll make a full recovery, just a bump on the head nothing else appears to be wrong. I hate to pry but whatever you and the heroes are planning on doing please be safe". Asuka nodded as she looked to her friend and sister viera before gently carrying her out of the office, she looked around wondering where this café she had been told to head to could possibly be as she looked around her eyes fell on the group heading out of the village curious she began to follow.

Murasaki and Miyabi led the way out of the village of Hanzō as the blonde miqo'te followed curious were they were going, after accepting Yumi's request the two girls had looked to each other nodding before getting to their feet without a word heading for the door she had quickly followed with the two fairies sitting on her shoulder seemingly confused about what is happening as much as she was.

"Wait" Shiki called out jogging a little to keep up "I said wait a minute, we should wait for the viera to catch up". The two stopped as they turned around seeing the viera following from a distance, the figure of the younger girl in her arms as she came closer looking from each of them in turn.

"The doctor said she will make a full recovery" Asuka said answering their questioning looks as she looked around curious "Where exactly are you going? I assumed we would plan our strike in the village". Miyabi smiled as she waved them to follow, Murasaki walking at her side as Hibari and Minori hopped onto their shoulders realisation setting in as the other two shrugged following feeling their curiosity getting the better of them.

As they rounded another corner a large building began to come into view, a strange calming aura seemed to wash over them as the group stared up at the towering shrine before them. Once just ruins now rebuilt the group walked onto its grounds feeling their stress and fatigue begin to leave them as Kafuru began to stir in Asuka's arms, as her eyes flickered open she looked around seeing the group turn to her as she quickly rolled out of the older viera's arms falling on her back with a thud.

"Stay away traitor" Kafuru called out as she sat up trying to break free of the bonds on her wrists, Asuka tried to calm her as the others moved away seeing the fire return to the girl's eyes as she forced herself to her feet eyeing each one in turn "Where have you brought me? Your base? Fools, I'll break free of these bonds and complete my mission".

"Fear not my child, they are not your enemy, you are safe here" a relaxing voice rang out through the shrine grounds as Kafuru looked around a hint of fear crossing her eyes, Asuka and Shiki looked around reaching for their weapons looking for the source of the voice as a blinding light filled their eyes coming from the entrance of the shrine.

"Wh-who's there?" Asuka called out shielding her eyes as a figure began to approach, the light began to dim as the viera's eyes came into focus again she blinked in disbelief. A woman in white smiled at her as she continued to walk towards the group, her long black hair hung low at her shoulders framing her beautiful features a warm and caring aura seemed to radiate off her as Asuka felt all want to fight leave her. Just who was this person and what was she doing here?

The black haired woman stepped closer to the group as she smiled at Miyabi before turning to Murasaki with the same warming smile, after a few moments her eyes turned to the brunette viera and blonde miqo'te before resting on the blonde viera slowly approaching her with a warm almost motherly smile.

"It's ok Kafuru, your safe here. No one will harm you" the woman said as the blonde looked at her feeling fear leaving her body as the woman gently placed her hands at the sides of the girl's head closing her eyes "You've been through so much but it's over now, I shall release you". The group watched on as the woman's hands began to glow with a warming light, Kafuru stood still feeling her body freeze up as the woman continued to concentrate her power as the young blonde felt her body begin to feel weightless as she fell to the ground again.

"What did you do to her!?" Asuka yelled as she drew her bow Miyabi quickly jumped between the two her katana drawn eyes locked on the brunette "Move! She did something, just like that witch before her".

"She just saved her, this is the goddess Ikaruga you fool now lower your bow" Miyabi yelled back as the brunette's eyes widened in surprise as she and the blonde miqo'te looked on in shock, they had always heard of a goddess who watched over all tribes but never had they imagined they would meet her in person.

"It's ok Miyabi" Ikaruga said placing her hand on the girl's shoulder as she lowered her weapon "Please bring them inside, we have much to discuss". Miyabi nodded as she sheathed her katana bending low scooping Kafuru into her arms as she turned towards the shrine following behind the goddess and her friends, without a word Shiki returned her weapons as she followed leaving the stunned viera following behind.

It would be rude not to visit the goddess while in Hanzō and just like the goddess says there is much to discuss like what they will do about their witch problem and how they may save the other tribes just like they did Kafuru
