It was a new day, and we were back at school. Buffy was still not allowed on school property, but it was now lunchtime, and we planned to meet Buffy off-campus for lunch. We were waiting for Xander and Cordelia.

"I'm giddy," Willow said as she smiled.

"Oh, I like you giddy. Always have," Oz told her.

I smiled at their lovey-dovey ways. It made me miss Angel even though Elijah, Cole, and Sam were now with me.

"It's the freedom! As Senior, we can go off-campus for lunch," Jo voiced.

"And it's no longer cutting. It's legal! Heck, it's expected! Wow, it's also a big step forward. A Senior moment that has to be savoured," Kyra stated.

Oz and I looked back to see Xander and Cordelia walking over.

"You can't just rush this, you know?" Willow replied as Xander headed to Willow's side opposite Oz before we started walking across the street. "Ohhh!" We could hear Willow start to resist Xander and Oz. "No, I can't!"

Oz and Xander pulled her harder as we smiled at Willow's reaction.

"You can," Xander voiced.

"See, you are," Oz stated as we continued across the street.

"Oh, but, no! What if they changed the rule without telling? What if they're lying in wait to arrest me a-and... and throw me in detention and mar my unblemished record?" Willow questioned in worry.

"Breathe..." Xander voiced as we reached the other of the street before Oz and Xander steadied her on the sidewalk. "Breathe."

"Okay. Hmm..." Willow said as she took a deep breath and let it out before she started to calm down.

Oz took Willow by the hand as Xander wrapped his around Cordelia. Kate wrapped her arm around Leo as Kyra wrapped her arm around Andy before taking Dean's hand. Jeremy's arm was wrapped around Rebekah's waist while he held Jo's hand. I followed suit with Cole's arm wrapped around my waist and holding Sam's hand. We headed over to the small park in front of the school.

"This is good! This is... Hey, we're Seniors!" Willow said as she relaxed before saying with attitude. "Hey, I'm walking here."

She giggled while some of us smiled at her relaxation of everything now. We looked around and found Buffy with Elijah, Klaus, Finn, Kol, Jenna and Persephone as they laid out lunch. Some of us started ahead as we heard Xander, Willow, Oz and Cordelia talking.

"Ahh. Buffy, Aurora and food," We heard Xander say.

"Maybe we shouldn't be too couple-y around Aurora," We heard Willow suggest to the others.

Even though I had three of my five soulmates with me, I still felt incomplete.

"Oh, you mean 'cause of how one of the only guys that ever liked her turned into a vicious killer and to be put down like a dog?" We heard Cordelia say.

I could feel the tears in my eyes as Cole pulled us closer to him after we heard what Cordelia said.

"Can they cram complex issues into a nutshell, or what?" We heard Xander admiringly say.

Kate, Leo, Kyra, Dean, Andy, Jeremy, Jo and Rebekah, Sam, Cole and I sat on the blanket. Persephone was in a folding high chair as Elijah was feeding her lunch.

"Alright, prepare to uncouple.." We heard Oz say as they came closer to us. "Uncouple."

They let go of each other as we looked over to see Willow and Cordelia on the right and Oz and Xander on the left.

"Buffy banned from campus, but not from our hearts," Xander said before asking. "How are you, and what's for lunch?"

Everyone sat around the blanket as Jenna, Klaus, and Finn passed out drinks.

"Well, Kate, Kyra, Jeremy and Aurora made these this morning, I just threw something in the oven and heated it," Buffy voiced.

"We are having shepherd's pie with cinnamon sugar donuts, pumpkin spice snickerdoodles, and pumpkin banana muffins," Kate told him.

"The drinks?" Jo asked.

"The drinks are homemade Iced Peach Tea and Pumpkin Banana Smoothie," I answered before taking a sip of the smoothie.

"When did you become Martha Stewart?" Cordelia asked as she saw the offerings.

"First of all, Martha Stewart knocks jack about hand-cut prosciutto," Buffy said as she took a platter of meats and cheeses.

"I don't believe she slays, either," Dean voiced.

"Oh, I hear she can, but she doesn't like to," Oz suggested.

"Second of all, way too much free time on our hands since I was kicked out of school and the girls and Jeremy were suspended," Buffy returned as she opened her bottle of Iced Peach Tea and took a sip.

"Oh, I know they'll let you back in," Willow replied as she took a sip of her drink.

"Don't you and your mom have a meeting with Principal Snyder?" Xander questioned.

"They're seeing Snyder-Man tomorrow," Kyra stated.

"Ooo, Scott Hope at eleven o'clock," Willow said as we noticed a boy walking this way before Buffy looked over at him. "He likes you. He wanted to ask you out last year, but you weren't ready then." Willow told Buffy before continuing. "But I think you're ready now, or at least in the state of pre-readiness, to make conversation, o-or to do that thing with your mouth that boys like."

My sisters, Buffy and I snapped our heads around at Willow before giving her a shocked look.

"Oh! I didn't mean the bad thing with your mouth. I meant that little half-smile thing that you..." Willow said as she tried to fix her slip-up before glaring at Oz. "You're supposed to stop me when I do that."

"I like when you do that," Oz replied with a smile as he shook his head.

Scott Hope was talking to his friends before walking toward us.

"Hi, Buffy," Scott said as he smiled.

"Hi," Buffy replied as she smiled back.

Scott continued on his way before Rebekah said.

"I think that went very well," Rebekah voiced before asking. "Don't you, that went very well?"

I saw Willow with a big smile at the interaction with Scott and Buffy. Buffy's been alone with all of us having relationships around her. It would be good for her to get out in the dating world.

"He didn't try to slit our throats or anything," Cordelia voiced as she nodded. "That's progress."

"Hey, did you do that little half-smile thing?" Willow questioned.

"Look, I'm not trying to snare Scott Hope. I just want to get my life back, you know, do normal stuff," Buffy sighed.

"Like dating?" Rebekah questioned.

"Well..." Buffy responded.

"Oh, you wanna date. I saw that half-smile, you little slut," Xander chuckled.

Buffy and Kyra punched him on the arms, and they weren't too lightly about it. Xander smiled and chucked before reacting to pain.

"Ow," Xander said as he winced and held his arm.

"All right. Yes, date, shop, hang out, go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!" Buffy voiced.

"Now, let's dig into our lunch," Kate stated before starting on her lunch.

"Oh, by the way. Buffy, did you bring what we asked?" Kyra questioned.

"Yes, I did," Buffy said as she handed the bags to Kate, Kyra, Jeremy, and me.

"What are those?" Xander asked.

"These a spelled extension bags. They hold about everything are weightless," Kate answered.

"They also have souvenirs in there. What we got from when we were in Orlando from every area we went to," Jeremy stated.

I handed Willow her bag as Kyra gave Cordelia her spelled bag, and Jeremy handed Oz and Xander theirs. Willow opened hers and found the pandora box that we got her.

"What's this?" Willow asked.

"A personalized Pandora bracelet," I answered.

"What else is in here?" Cordelia questioned as she pulled out her own pandora bracelet box.

"Candies, cups, clothes, pins from Disney, and more," Kyra answered.

"You can look through them another time," Kate voiced.

"We're sorry, we didn't get anything for you," I apologized to Dean, Sam and Jo.

"It's okay. You didn't know we would be here," Sam responded.

"Well, some of us knew we did know that some new people would join our group," Cole pointed out.

"And you didn't say anything?" Rebekah stated.

"Sorry," Andy replied.

"Anyway, we have some surprises ahead," Elijah said.

"What surprises?" Oz questioned.

"Well, in October, we have Legoland Tickets for Brick or Treat, Sea world & Howl-ow-scream Tickets at Sea World San Diego," Klaus voiced.

"And Universal Studios & Halloween Horror Nights Tickets at Universal Studios Hollywood and Disneyland & DCA's Oogie Boogie Bash," Finn stated.

"Wow, when?" Xander asked.

"On weekends," Elijah answered.

"Anyway, let's get some food into us before class resumes," Kyra suggested before taking a bite of lunch.

We went back to eating and talking about Orlando Vacation before classes resumed.

Time Skip

It was night over Sunnydale as a black stretch limo pulled into the parking lot of a fast food restaurant before heading for the drive-through lane. The limo stopped as it got a large boy with a speaker and mike before the backseat limo windows lowered.

"Welcome to Happy Burger. May I take your order, please?" A voice said.

"Diet soda. Medium," the dark-skinned man responded.

"That'll be $1.29 at the window, sir," the voice returned before the dark-skinned man raised its window before the limo moved forward.

Inside the car were the dark-skinned man and an older scary man, and they were talking.

"Sunnydale," The dark-skinned man said as he looked at the scary man next to him. "Town's got quaint. And the people?" He smiled. "He called me 'sir'. Don't you just miss that? I mean, admittedly, it's not a haven for the brothers, you know, strictly the Caucasian Persuasion here in the Dale. But, you know, you just gotta stand up and salute their death rate. I ran a statistical analysis," He smiled again. "And hello, darkness. It makes... D.C. look... like Mayberry, and ain't nobody saying, boo about it. We could fit righter in here. Have us some fun."

"We're here for one thing," The scary man in the shadows growled as he pulled his cloven hand from the dark-skinned man's knee.

"Kill the Slayer, yeah. Still, big picture..." The dark-skinned man responded before he looked at the scary man's hand in disgust.

The dark-skinned man lowered his window as he looked out before handing the cashier a five-dollar bill.

"Have a nice night, sir," The cashier said as she handed him the soda, a straw and his change before smiling.

"Right back at ya," The dark-skinned man said as he smiled before sitting back.

"The Slayer. I'm going to rip her spin from her body," The scary man said before continuing. "And I'm going to eat her heart and suck the marrow from her bones."

"Now, I'm hungry," The dark-skinned man responded as he smacked his lips for a moment before vamping out.

The girl jumped back in shock before trying to move away but was grabbed by the dark-skinned man. The girl screamed as the dark-skinned man pulled her out of the building before pulling her into the limo. Moments later, the limo took off with the girl's legs kicking outside the window before the limo screeched as it left the parking lot and got onto the street.

Across town at the Slayer house...

Classes were over, and it was night. Persephone had been fed dinner and was in bed. Kate and Kyra were making dinner as the rest of us set the table.

"So, what's the plan?" Kyra asked.

"Well, homework for high school is done and packed into our bags, and our college work is done and was sent to the professors, so meal planning or watching a movie?" Buffy voiced.

"We'll meal plan after dinner and then a movie," I suggested.

"Good idea," Kate stated.

"So, what movie?" Jenna asked as she got the drinks ready.

"What's for dinner?" Jeremy questioned before anyone answered Jenna.

"We are having Maple Roasted Chicken with Sweet Potatoes and Apples," Kate answered.

"What's tonight's movie?" Jenna asked again.

"Who's turn is it to pick the movie?" Buffy questioned.

"Aurora's," Kate, Kyra, Jenna and Jeremy responded as they turned toward me.

"Well, we haven't seen Coco," I suggested.

"Okay, we'll watch Coco," Kyra voiced as she put the maple-roasted chicken on a platter.

"Dinner is ready," Kate stated as she brought the sweet potatoes and apple slices bowl to the table.

We sat down and poured Iced Peach Tea into our cups before we took a turn putting our dinner on the plates. We started eating and talking about our day. An hour and a half later, dinner was over, and meal planning was almost over with planning our meal subscription box.

"Time for a movie," Kyra voiced.

"I'll pop the popcorn," Kate replied.

"I'll melt the butter," Jeremy said.

"I'll get the candy and bring the drinks out," Jenna voiced.

"I'll get the movie ready," I stated before heading to the living room.

When I got to the living room, I turned on the tv before turning on Disney+ and finding Coco. I sat down as I waited for the movie to load. Ten minutes later, the others joined me with popcorn, drinks and candy.

"Popcorn is made," Kate voiced as she laid the bowls of popcorn on the table.

"Let's watch the movie," Jenna said as she came in with drinks and candy.

We all chose our favourite candies before getting a bowl of popcorn each. I turned on the movie before looking at the baby monitor to a sleeping Persephone as Jenna turned out the light. We started to watch the movie.

A Slight time Skip...

The movie was over, and it was time for bed. We cleaned up the popcorn, put our cups in the dishwasher and headed upstairs. Kate, Kyra and I headed to our bathroom and brushed our teeth. After brushing their teeth, Kate and Kyra headed to their rooms before I headed to Persephone's nursery to check on her. I walked into the room before walking to the crib and saw her sleeping.

"Night, my love," I whispered before kneeling to Lady and saying. "Good night, Lady."

I headed out of the nursery before closing the door. I headed to my room and got into bed before dosing off to sleep.

Dream

We were in the bronze as music played in the background. Kate was dancing with Finn, Kyra with Klaus, Jeremy with Jo and Buffy with some boy as I danced with Angel. At the corner of my eye, I could see Willow, Oz, Cordelia, Xander, the other mikaelsons, Sam and Dean watching us dance.

"I miss you," I whispered to Angel.

I moved the hand that had my Claddagh ring on down onto Angel's arm as I grabbed for his hand, but I didn't realize was my ring was loose, and before I could grasp his hand, it fell to the floor. We both looked at the ring before Angel knelt to pick it up. Angel stood back up with the ring in his hand before he gave me a wounded look. I looked at the ring with fright before flashing back to the manor as I thrust the sword through my Angel and his surprised but pained look before disappearing into the Acthala's mouth.

"I had to," I whispered as I looked at him.

I could feel Angel's shaky breath as he looked down at the ring in his fingers. He clenched it in his fist as blood began to ooze between his fingers and dripped onto the floor.

"I loved you," Angel said as he intensely looked at me.

I watched as the blood continued dripping before a bloodstain appeared on his shirt where I had stabbed him. The blood grew quickly as it began to soak the front of the shirt.

"Oh, God! Angel..." I screamed in fright and worry as I reached out toward his wound.

"GO TO HELL!" Angel yelled as he stared at me with intense anger.

I looked from his chest wound to his face as it had turned green and was rotting on one side.

"I did," Angel added as he smiled and smugly laughed before looking back at me.

DREAM

I gasped as I woke from my dream before realizing it was only a dream. I placed my hand on my forehead before brushing my fingers through my hair. I sat in my bed before I looked at my hand where the Claddagh Ring sat on my finger. I looked closely at it and saw the two hands for friendship, a crown for loyalty and a heart for love. I turned my head as I heard Aunt Joyce head into Buffy's room.

"Morning, Sunshine!" Aunt Joyce said before asking. "Ready to face the beast?"

"Yeah, mom," Buffy replied.

"Okay, let's get some breakfast before heading out," Aunt Joyce responded before coming out of the room to see me awake. "Morning, Aurora."

"Morning, Aunt Joyce," I voiced as I got out of bed.

"See you downstairs," Aunt Joyce returned before heading downstairs.

I got out of my PJs and laid them down on my bed. I got dressed into clean undergarments before grabbing what I had planned to wear for school and laid it on my bed. I put on white jeans and slipped on sandal heels. I wrapped a thin brown belt around my waist before doing it up and pulled on my red top. I added red rose earrings with a blue and gold ring to my outfit. I grabbed my pink bag for the day and slipped my homework into the bag with my laptop, charger, wallet, Keys and cell phone. I headed out of my room before heading into the nursery, but I didn't see that Persephone wasn't there.

"Who has Persephone?" I yelled.

"I have Persephone," Aunt Joyce yelled back.

I sighed in relief before heading downstairs.

When I got downstairs, I walked into the kitchen dining room and saw Aunt Joyce feeding Persephone her breakfast.

"Sorry for not telling you, Aurora," Aunt Joyce said.

"It's okay. I just wanted to know who had Persephone," I replied as I made maple and brown sugar oatmeal for myself before making tea to take to school.

"Are you ready for the second day of school?" Aunt Joyce asked.

"Yeah. Homework for school and college was easy and fun," I voiced before starting to eat my breakfast as Kate walked into the room.

"Morning," Kate said before started making her breakfast.

"Morning," I replied after swallowing the bite of my oatmeal.

"Morning," Kyra and Jeremy voiced as they walked into the room.

"Morning," Aunt Joyce said as Kate and I had food in our mouths.

Kyra and Jeremy made their breakfast before starting to make their to-go cups as Jenna and Buffy walked into the kitchen dining room.

"Morning, all," Jenna said as she walked over to make her breakfast and to-go cup.

We sat down and ate our breakfast before we headed out of the door for school.

When they got to school, Aurora and the others went to class. While Jenna and Persephone headed to the library as Joyce and Buffy headed to their meeting at Snyder's office. Joyce and Buffy sat in Snyder's office as he sat behind his desk and talked.

"Here are the terms of your re-entry, Missy. Take them or leave them," Snyder voiced as Buffy took the letter opener from his desk and began to play with it before he started talking again. "One: that you pass a makeup test of every class you skipped out on last year." Buffy started to tap his letter opener on her hand. "Two: that you provide in writing; one glowing letter of recommendation from any member of our faculty who is not an English Librarian." Snyder began to get annoyed with Buffy's tapping before continuing. "And three: that you complete an interview..." He stood up. "...with our school psychologist..." As he walked around his desk toward Buffy. "...who must conclude that your violent tendencies..." He paused for a moment before snatching the letter opener from Buffy's hand and continued. "...are under control."

"I'm not sure I like your attitude, Mr. Snyder. I spoke with the school board, and according to them..." Joyce responded.

"I'm required to educate every juvenile who is not in jail where she belongs," Snyder interrupted as he walked back around his desk before stopping and he looked out the window with his back to them and said. "Welcome back."

Joyce and Buffy looked at each other before smiling at each other.

"So, let me get this straight. I'm back in school because the school board overruled you," Buffy voiced as she stood up and Snyder faced her. "Wow. That's like having your whole ability to do this job called into question when you think about it."

"I think what my daughter's trying to say is..." Joyce said as she got up before singing. "Nyah, nyah-nyah-nyah, nyah." She gave Snyder a defiant look before they walked out of the office and off to find the others.

Back inside the office, Snyder blankly watched the leave before the intercom on his desk buzzed.

"It's the Mayor on line one," The secretary told him.

Snyder's eyes widen with worry before picking up the phone and pressing one.

After the meeting, Buffy met up with us as we headed to the library. When we got to the library, the place was empty of other students.

"It's so great that you're a schoolgirl again," Willow voiced.

"Giles say what he wanted?" I asked.

"Do you think he's mad?" Buffy questioned as we stopped at the counter where Jenna and Persephone were with Elijah.

"No, no, no. That's not yours to take," Elijah said as he grabbed a small jar from Persephone's little hands.

Sam, Cole and I smiled at Persephone as we noticed bowls and jars of various dried herbs on the counter.

"No, I don't think so. I think he just wanted to see you," Willow said as she glanced around and smiled before saying. "Have you ever noticed, though, when he is mad, but he's too English to say anything, he makes that weird cluck-cluck sound with his tongue?"

I noticed Elijah, Klaus, Finn, Dean, and Jenna smirking as Giles out of the storage room and looked at what he laid out.

"Hi, Giles!" Jo and Kyra voiced as we raised our eyebrows at Willow before smiling.

"Oh, hi! Been there long?" Willow questioned as she turned around and faced with worry on her face.

"Aurora, Buffy, good timing," Giles said as he ignored Willow's question before looking around the counter. "I could use your help. I trust you remember the demon Acathla?"

"Giles, contain yourself. Yes, we're back in school, but you know how it embarrasses us when you gush so," Buffy voiced before Giles looked from his searching.

"Yes, let's just skip all that and get straight to work," I stated.

"Oh, ahh... Well, I, um... Well-w... Oo-of course, it's wonderful to have you all back, i-i-it goes without saying..." Giles stuttered as we raised our eyebrows at him and smiled before he continued. "But..." He noticed us giving him an enjoyable look before saying. "You enjoy making me say it, don't you."

Giles put on his glasses before going back to search for something.

"Okay, Acthala, huh? What are you doing, making him some demon pizza?" Kyra questioned as she played with a bowl on the counter.

I picked up a bundle of sage before sniffing it and smiling at the smell. I held it over Kate and Willow, who sniffed it and smiled too.

"We need to make sure, he remains dormant and that the dimensional vortex is sealed tight. I'm working on a binding spell," Giles told us.

I turned around and tried to keep my eyes away from Willow and the others. I tried to keep my tears in my eyes as I thought about my Angel locked in the hell dimension that I sent him to.

"Oh, a spell? Can I help?" Willow voiced as she perked up.

"Possibly with the research. It's very sensitive and..." Giles responded.

"Oh! Who's more sensitive than me?" Willow questioned with hurt in her voice.

"... and difficult spell," Giles added as Willow frowned. "It involves creating a protective circle around... Well, I don't want to bore you with the details, but, uh, well, there's a litany t-that one has to recite in Aramaic, and it's very specific. So I need to get a few details about your experience of defeating Acathla and Angel." He started ingredient hunting again.

My mind flashed back to that night I had to stick a sword in one of my soulmate's guts to save the world, and now to find out my watcher is planning to close the gate that could possibly help bring him back to us.

"Fire away," Buffy answered for me.

"I've put the time at about, um..." Giles replied as he checked his notes before speaking again. "6:17, around or about half an hour after Xander rescued me."

"Less. More like ten minutes," Kate voiced as they were there with me and had to watch as I stabbed my Angel in the gut.

"Oh, was the vortex already open?" Giles questioned.

"Barely," I told with sadness as Sam pulled me into his arms and held me with Cole at his side.

"I see. And Angel?" Giles returned.

"A big fight. Angel got the pointy end of the sword. Acathla sucked him into Hell instead of the world. That's about it," Buffy told him as she knew I couldn't.

"Yes, well, that, um..." Giles said as he wrote a few notes down before saying. "...should be very helpful."

"Oh, no, I have to go take an English makeup exam," Buffy sounded as she checked her watch before grabbing her books from the counter. "They give you credit just for it, right?" We gave her a look before she started whining. "Oh..."

Buffy headed out of the library.

"Well, we're going to stacks for some quiet and to do some college work," Kate voiced as she, Kyra, Jeremy and I headed to the stacks with our things before disappearing into the back stacks.

Back in the main section of the library, Willow picked up the bundle of sage before sniffing it some more.

"Mm, sage. I love that smell. And marnox root," Willow voiced as she reached into a jar. "You know, a smidge of this mixed with a virgin's saliva..." Before she got a look from Jenna, Finn, Giles and Kol. "Does something I know nothing about."

"These forces are not something that one plays around with, Willow," Giles responded.

"What have been conjuring?" Finn asked her.

"Nothing... much. Well, you know, I tried the spell to cure Angel, and I guess that was a bust. But since then, you know, small stuff: floating feather, fire out of ice, which, next time, I won't do on the bedspread," Willow stated as Giles and Finn looked down before she asked. "Are you mad at me?"

"No, of course not, no. If I were, I would be making a strange clucking sound with my tongue," Giles returned as he looked up.

"No more magic without someone there," Finn voiced.

Willow was embarrassed as smiled up at them.

"Well, let's get to work," Jenna voiced before laying Persephone down in her playpen with soft toys.

Everyone got to work on research.

Time Skip

After school, we headed home for homework, work and getting ready for the Bronze. After night hit, we went on a quick patrol before heading to the Bronze. Music was playing in the background as couples danced on the dance floor. Buffy, Kate, Kyra, Sam, Dean, Rebekah, Jo, Jeremy and I were carrying drinks as we headed to Willow and Oz. They were making out on a loveseat.

"Don't let us interrupt," Jo voiced as we sat down.

Willow and Oz broke their make-out session before Willow sat up.

"Thanks," Oz said as he thanked Kate for the drink she gave him.

I took a sip of my iced tea as we realized Buffy's cheery nature.

"Are you..." Willow started to say before turning to Oz and said. "Is she all glowy?"

Buffy rolled her eyes before giving us an innocent look.

"Yeah, I suspect happiness," Oz answered.

"I agree with that," I voiced.

"I passed my English makeup exam. I'm hanging out with my friends and family," Buffy stated with a smile before saying. "Hello, my life, how I've missed you."

"Hi, Scott," Willow said as Scott Hope approached us before asking. "What are you doing here?"

"You told me if I came after 8 pm, I could run into Buffy," Scott told her with a smile.

Buffy shot Willow a look while some of us smirked at Willow's attempt for Buffy to date. I noticed Willow blush in embarrassment as she took a big gulp of her drink.

"Uh, I'm sorry. I'm a bad liar. It's not good for the soul," Scott said as he smiled before gesturing to his face. "O-or the skin, actually. It makes me blotchy."

"Hi, Scott," Buffy voiced with a smile.

"Hi," Scott returned.

You could feel the awkwardness in the air as we could see, that Scott was looking around for something to comment on.

"Don't you love this song?" Scott questioned.

"Uh, yeah! I actually do," Buffy responded.

"Well, would you like to..." Scott returned as he gestured towards the dance floor.

"Dance? Um..." Buffy said as Willow and Kate smiled with encouragement before saying. "I don't know." The girls and I frowned as she continued. "I'm bad with... Well..." She started fidgeting. "Thank you for asking. It's just that there..."

I could tell Buffy wasn't ready, but I could also see that she was still grieving about me losing Angel and didn't want to go through heartbreak as I did with him.

"Okay, you know what? I'm just gonna go stand by the dance floor. If you change your mind, you can mosey on over, and then if not, then you don't mosey," Scott responded before saying. "No harm, no foul, right?"

"Right," Buffy returned.

Scott walked off to find a spot to wait as Buffy rolled her eyes before hitting her head back. I could tell she was mentally kicking herself for how she handled it.

"Come on, Buffy. I mean, the guy is charming, a-and normal, which is what you wanted," Willow voiced with disappointment.

"Unlike our loves," Kyra voiced.

"Hey!" Cole, Andy, Leo, Rebekah, and Jeremy exclaimed.

We ignored their reaction as Oz spoke.

"Plus, bonus points for the use of the word 'mosey'," Oz stated.

"I just don't think I'm ready," Buffy replied.

"What's stopping you?" Kate asked as Cordelia, Xander, and Kol walked over.

"Check out Slut-O-Rama and her disco Dave," Cordelia voiced as she pointed towards the dance floor before they sat in the leftover seats.

We saw the energetically dancing couple that Cordelia was pointing at. The girl's dancing was more contemporary for the time, while the guy was dancing way too face for the music with an unmistakable disco-era influence.

"What we the last thing that guy danced to, K.C and the Sunshine Band?" Jo questioned as Willow and Oz looked over at what we were staring at.

We watched the couple dancing as they got closer as they danced before separating. Buffy, Kate, Kyra, Jeremy, and I shared a look as we were suspicious of the guy's intentions as they left the club.

"I don't think that guy thrives on sunshine," Rebekah voiced as we set our drinks down and started after them.

We crossed the room before being intercepted by Scott.

"Hi," Scott said.

"Hi. Oh," Buffy replied with a frown as we stopped. "No, we..." She pointed at the door before saying. "W-we have to..."

"Oh, uh, sorry, my bad," Scott returned.

"No, i-it's mine. Really, it's mine, but we..." Buffy apologized before glancing at us. "W-we have to go."

I could tell Scott was confused as we rushed out of the club.

Outside, we rushed out as the others followed behind us.

"Where'd she go?" I asked as half of us took a few steps down the alley to check things out while the other half looked the other way.

"I bet it's nothing. They're probably just making out," Cordelia voiced as we met up with them.

"Hey!" We heard the girl call out followed by a loud noise of something breaking.

Xander pulled out a stake from his jacket before handing it to Buffy. Kyra and I pulled our silver stakes from our bags before handing Kate and Rebekah theirs.

"What about me?" Jo questioned.

"We have yours being made," Kyra answered as we headed down the alley.

"That's not making out sounds like unless I'm doing it wrong," Willow voiced as Kol, Cole, Andy, and Kyra smiled at Willow.

When we got to the spot, we slowly walked towards them as we saw the boy had the girl against the temporary link fence that we were leaning against the building.

"Stop struggling. This won't hurt," The boy said as we saw him vamp out before moving in to bite the girl.

We watched as the girl grabbed him by the neck before pushing him a bit and elbowing him in the face. I could tell this girl was different as the vampire staggered back before regaining his balance. She jumped on the crate before doing a roundhouse kick to his face, knocking him to the pavement. The girl turned and noticed us.

"It's okay, I got it. You're, uh, Buffy and Aurora, right?" The girl asked as we were taken aback by how she knew us.

We were just about to answer before the vampire came back and grabbed her by the shoulders.

"I'm Faith," the girl Faith introduced herself as she snapped her head back to head-butt him before grabbing his arm.

Suddenly, I got a vision flash of Faith. She was a Slayer. I saw some trouble ahead of her with accidentally killing someone and joining the bad guy before landing herself in a coma. I also saw some good after the coma with going to jail, saving someone and helping us with a bigger bad. I shook my head as I got out of the vision, only to see her shove the vampire into the section of the fence.

"I'm gonna go out on a limb and say there's a new Slayer in town," Oz whispered to Willow.

I didn't think we would meet Kendra's replacement.

"Yeah, I believe your right," Sam stated as Faith kneed the vampire in the gut.

The vampire whirled around and tried to backhand her, but she ducked it before punching him in the gut and then in the face. We watched her fight before I noticed Xander following her moves with his head. I rolled my eyes as she high-kicked the vampire in the jaw before grabbing onto his shirt and throwing him to the ground. The vampire did no-hand front roll.

"Can I borrow that?" Faith asked before jerking the stake from Buffy.

The vampire got his feet before running at Faith. He threw a punch as he came toward her. She ducked it before hooking her hand on his shoulder, turning him around, and pushing him into the fence. In one quick movement, she staked him before he crumbled to dust. Buffy stared in confused amazement as Faith faced us.

"Thanks, B," Faith said before handing the stake back to Buffy and said. "Couldn't have done it without you." She continued back towards the Bronze Club.

We stared after her a moment before heading back towards the club.

After the fight, we met up with Faith and found a spot to sit as she told us her stories.

"The whole summer was like the worst heat wave. So it's about a hundred and eighteen degrees, and I'm sleeping without a stitch on," Faith told us as a waitress set a tray of muffins on the table before leaving. "Suddenly, I hear this screaming from outside. So I go tearing out, stark dude..." I saw Xander licking his lips as he looked up and down her body. "And this church bus has broken down, and there are three vampires feasting on half the Baptists in South Boston. So I waste the vampires, and the preacher comes up. He's hugging me like there's no tomorrow when suddenly, the cops show up before arresting us both." She reached over and grabbed a muffin.

"Wow. They should film that story and show it every Christmas," Xander voiced as he stared blankly ahead.

I could tell Cordelia wasn't happy with Xander's interest in Faith as she had her arms and legs crossed while glaring at Xander.

"God, I could eat a horse," Faith said before tearing into the muffin and said. "Isn't it crazy how slaying always makes you hungry and horny?" She gobbled the piece down.

The others turned their heads toward Buffy and I. I could feel that Buffy was uncomfortable, but so was I.

"Well... Sometimes I-I crave a nonfat yogurt afterwards," Buffy voiced.

"And I crave chocolate and sugar afterwards," I told them.

"I get it," Cordelia said as she smiled before we turned our heads in confusion toward her. "Not the horny thing. Yuck! But the three Slayer thing. There was one, Aurora died, then Buffy was called, then Buffy died for the first and Aurora for the second time for like two minutes, so then Kendra was called, and then when she died. Faith was called."

Faith nodded in agreement.

"But why were you called here?" Jo questioned.

"Well, I wasn't. My watcher went off to some retreat thing in England, and so I skipped out," Faith lied before saying. "I figured this was my chance to meet the infamous Buff and Aurora and compare notes." Buffy and I gave her a small smile. "So, B, A, did you really use a rocket launcher one time?"

"Uh, yeah," Buffy said as we leaned in and started to tell her. "Actually, it's a funny story. There was..."

"So what was the, uh, story about that alligator? You, uh, said something... before," Xander interrupted.

"Oh, there's the Big Daddy Vampire out of Missouri who used to keep them as pets. So he's got me rassling one of them, okay? The thing must have been 12 ft long, and I'm..." Faith said with a lot of gestures.

"So was this, um, ahem, also naked?" Xander interrupted again.

"Well, the alligator was," Faith teased as she laughed.

Xander smiled before joining in with laughter.

"Xander?" Cordelia said as she glared at him before telling him. "Find a new theme."

"I tell ya, I never had more trouble than that damn vamp," Faith said as she shook her head before asking. "What about you two? What were your toughest kills?"

I lowered my eyes as Cole grabbed my hand. I had another flashback to stabbing Angel in the chest with a sword before he looked at me with surprise and pain. I shook my head before looking at Cole and Sam as they gave a concerned look.

"Um, well, you know. They're all difficult, I guess," I said with a weak smile.

Faith was waiting for our story as she took a sip of her drink.

"Uh..." Buffy said before remembering. "Oh! Oh, do you guys remember the Three?"

They looked at us before we remembered they weren't with us when it happened, but Angel was.

"That's right, you never met the Three. Well, there were three..." I started to say.

"Something occurring," Oz interrupted before saying. "Uh, now, you three kill vampires, and who could blame you. But I-I'm wondering about your position on werewolves."

"Oz is a werewolf," Willow voiced as she laid her head on his shoulder.

"It's a long story," Kate piped up with a grin.

"I got bit," Oz shrugged.

"Apparently not that long," Kyra replied.

"Hey, as long as you don't go scratching at me or humping my leg, we're five-by-five, you know?" Faith said as she considered it.

"Fair enough," Oz returned.

"The vamps, though, they better get their asses to DEFCON ONE," Faith said as she pointed at us and smiled. "'Cause you two and I are gonna have fun, you know, Watcherless and fancy-free."

"Watcherless?" Buffy questioned.

"Didn't yours go to England, too?" Faith questioned as she looked around at everyone.

"No, he didn't," I replied.

"Oh, we better get home," Kate voiced as she saw the time on her phone.

"Yeah, we have school in the morning," Jeremy stated as we got up.

"You'll meet our watcher in the morning at the school," Buffy stated before we hugged our friends.

"See you tomorrow," Kyra voiced before we headed out the door and towards the Alleyway.

I grabbed Cole's hand as Sam took Cole's other hand. Kate took Leo's hand as Kyra took Andy's hand, and Jeremy took Jo's and Rebekah's before we shimmered/orbed home.

When we got home, Kate, Kyra, Buffy, Jeremy, and I headed in while the others headed home. We headed upstairs to shower before bed. I walked into my bedroom and took off my clothes and jewelry before putting on my housecoat. Then headed to the bathroom and took a quick shower before brushing my teeth. I blowdried and brushed my hair as Kate came into the room.

"Have a good sleep," Kate said as she came into the bathroom with her housecoat.

"Night," I replied before heading out of the bathroom to the nursery to check on Persephone.

I walked into the nursery and saw Lady on the floor next to the crib. I scratched her head before looking into the crib. I saw a sleeping Persephone before kissing my two fingers and laying them on her forehead.

"Night, my love," I whispered before heading out of the room.

I walked next door to my room before heading in. I closed my door and got dressed into clean Pjs. I threw my dirty clothes and Pjs from before into the hamper before I got into bed and went to sleep.

Time Skip

It was a morning of a new day. I woke to find a note on my bedside table saying...

Aurora,

I have Persephone downstairs.

- Kate

I put down the note as I got ready for school. I got out of my PJs before folding them and laying them on my bed. I put on clean undergarments before getting into my chosen outfit for the day. I did up my browned boots before taking off my trinity necklace and added a spelled Hogwarts crest necklace. I slipped on a brown jacket and added a belt to my pants before doing it. I grabbed today's bag before putting in my homework, wallet, keys, laptop and charger. I unplugged my cell phone from its charger before slipping it into my bag. I walked into the bathroom and did my hair before brushing my teeth, and headed downstairs to the kitchen dining room.

When I got downstairs, I saw everyone making to-go breakfasts and drinks while Kate fed Persephone.

"Morning, all," I said as I walked into the room.

"Morning," Kate said as she looked up before cleaning Persephone's face of her cereal.

"What's for breakfast?" I asked.

"To-go Breakfast sliders," Kyra answered.

I poured today's smoothie into a Disney to-go cup before putting the lid on and sliding the straw in. I grabbed my sliders and placed them into heat safe container before we headed out the door with our food and drinks. We got into the cars and headed to school to meet Faith and the others.

When we got to school, we met up with Xander, Willow and Faith before handing them their breakfast. We headed to the library and introduced Faith to Giles and the other guys before mentioning her watcher and where she was.

"There's a Watchers retreat every year in the Cotswolds," Giles said as he walked to the end of the table. "It's a lovely spot. It's very s-serene. There's horse riding, hiking, and punting." He smiled before continuing. "And there's lectures and discussions. I-it's... it's a great honour to be invited." Before he became bitter. "Or so I'm told."

"Oh, it's boring. Way too stuffy for a guy like you," Faith replied.

"Um, maybe we should introduce you again. Faith, this is Giles," Buffy voiced as Willow and Rebekah smirked.

"I see him. If I'd have known they came that young and cute, I would've requested a transfer," Faith returned.

Kate, Kyra and I felt like throwing up as Giles took off his glasses. Elijah and Finn looked away as Klaus smirked.

"Raise your hand if 'ew'," I voiced as I raised my hand.

Buffy, Kate, Kyra, and Jo raised their hands before Xander raised his hand, but stopped and hid it by scratching his cheek.

"Well, um, uh, leaving aside for a moment my, uh, youth and beauty," Giles chuckled before heading to the copier. "I-I'd say it was, um..." Elijah handed over the newspaper to Giles. "... fortuitous that Faith arrived when she did." He came back over with it.

"Aha!" Willow loudly said as she shot up her finger before we looked at her. "Sorry. I just meant..." Before shooting her finger up again. "Aha! There's big evil brewing. You'll never be bored here, Faith." Faith grinned at her. "'Cause this is Sunnydale, home of the big brewing evil."

There was a big evil brewing in Sunnydale, but it wasn't what was coming now. My vision showed the big bad, but it was blurred like I wasn't meant to see it just yet.

"Yes, well, we don't know how big an evil it is," Klaus told us as Giles handed Buffy the newspaper. "But two people disappeared from the Sunset Ridge District." We scanned the article.

"Well, we're good for patrol tonight, but later-ish though. We promised Aunt Joyce we'd be home for dinner," Kate stated as I handed the newspaper to Xander.

Willow nodded toward Faith while looking at us with big eyes.

"Um, to which you're also invited, of course, dinner with us," Kyra pointed out.

Even though Kate, Kyra, and I didn't trust her around Persephone due to my vision.

"Dying to meet the fam. I'm in," Faith replied.

"Great! Great, then we can patrol," Buffy voiced before saying with less thrill. "...also together."

"Hey, don't you have that health science makeup?" Willow questioned.

"Oh, yeah. Actually, I could use a little coaching," Buffy responded.

"And we have online tests for college," Kyra voiced.

"You know, you can hang out with us while she's testing. You wanna?" Willow suggested as she hopped off the table with a smile.

Xander grabbed his things behind him as Buffy muttered that we were invisible to them.

"Say yes, and uh, bring your stories," Xander voiced as he smiled before he walked past Faith.

"You guys go. It's fine. Fine! We'll just..." Buffy said as we went to the table. "...sit." We sat down at the study table.

"Okay. Hey, later," Faith said to us before saying to Giles and the others. "We will talk weapons." She followed Xander and Willow out of the library

"This new girl seems to..." Finn voiced as he pointed out. "... have a lot zest."

We glared at him before he changed the subject.

"We've been having a little problem with the binding spell for Acathla," Klaus voiced.

"I-I'm lacking the requisite details to perform it correctly. Now, the physical location. Acathla was facing south," Giles told us.

"Mm," Buffy said before pointing at the table. "Acathla, Angel, Aurora..." Before she jabbed through the three positions. "Sword." She looked at them.

"Now, see that's what I thought, but I..." Giles started to say.

"Giles, look, Buffy got makeup tests to pass... we have online tests..." I interrupted before getting my laptop and charger out.

"We also missing people in Sunset Ridge and a zesty new Slayer to feed," Buffy added as she got up, pulled on her backpack and grabbed her books.

"Next time Aurora kills Angel, we'll videotape it," Kate finished before Buffy walked out of the library.

The girls and I headed to the storage room, which we made into a nursery/storage/study room for college work. We opened our laptops, logged into the portal and started our separate tests for our classes.

Five hours later, Willow, Faith and Xander walked through the school as they gave Faith the tour and told her their stories.

"And over here, we have the cafeteria," Willow voiced as she pointed at the door before saying. "... where we were mauled by snakes."

"And this is the spot where Angel tried to kill Willow," Xander pointed out without realizing he was being glared at by Elijah, Sam and Cole for mistaking Angelus for Angel.

"Oh," Willow said before telling her. "... and over there in the lounge is where Spike and his gang nearly massacred us all on Parent-Teacher night."

Faith was finding it all pretty incredible and smiled as they reached the stairs.

"Oh, a-and up those stairs, I was sucked into a muddy grave," Willow added as she pointed to the landing before they stopped walking.

"And they say young people don't learn anything in high school nowadays, but, um, I've learned to be afraid," Xander stated as he smiled.

Willow nodded in agreement to Xander's statement.

"You guys are a hoot and a half. If I'd had friends like you in high school, I..." Faith said as she laughed and grinned before saying. "...probably still would've dropped out. But I might've been sad bout it, you know?"

Willow and Xander gave her understanding nods before exchanging a smile.

"Hey, so what's up with B & A? I mean, they seem wound kinda tight. Needs to find the fun a little? Like you two," Faith asked as she crossed her arms.

"Well, um, they..." Willow started to say.

"Oh. Water," Faith interrupted as she spotted a drinking fountain.

Faith walked over to the fountain before taking a drink as Cordelia approached them from behind.

"Oh, and the alligator story!" Xander voiced before turning to Willow. "She's got something, doesn't she?"

"What is it with you and Slayers?" Cordelia questioned as Xander jerked around to face her before saying. "Maybe I should dress up as one and put a stake to your throat."

"Please, God, don't let be sarcasm," Xander responded as he took her arm and smiled.

Faith had finished her drink and went to turn around, only to bump into Scott as he came out of the cafeteria.

"Oh. Excuse me," Scott said as she jumped back.

"Sorry," Faith said as she curiously looked at him before responding. "I know you from somewhere."

"The Bronze. You're friends with Buffy, right?" Scott replied as he recognized her as well.

"Yeah. I'm Faith," Faith introduced herself before holding her hand.

"Scott, it's nice to meet you," Scott returned before shaking her hand.

"Nice to meet you too," Faith repeated as they let go of their handshake.

After our tests, we headed and found the others before joining them.

"Well, I'm two for two with makeup tests," Buffy said.

"And we finished our online tests," I voiced.

"Proud, yes, but also humble in this time of..." Buffy stated before realizing they were staring at something.

"What are we looking at?" Kate asked.

We looked over and saw Scott talking and laughing with Faith.

"Does anybody believe that is her actual hair colour?" Cordelia questioned before rolling her eyes and walking away.

"I haven't seen him laugh like that. Hey, maybe Faith and Scott could hit it off," Willow voiced before seeing us look at her. "I mean if you're done with him." Before realizing she was doing it again. "Not that you used him."

Willow furrowed her brow before sighing and stopped talking while she still could. We looked back toward the two who were talking.

"Well, I... hadn't definitely one hundred percent said no for all time. It's just you don't enter these things lightly, and there are repercussions to consider and..." Buffy responded before we saw Willow and Xander exchange a look.

"Why are we seeing a look?" Kyra asked.

"You really do need to find the fun, B..." Willow said as she looked at us before we looked at her in surprise as she finished the word. "...uffy."

Buffy sighed before heading over to Faith and Scott.

"Hey!" Buffy said with a smile.

"Hey, Buffy! Faith has been telling me tall tales!" Scott told her.

"She's funny," Buffy responded with a smile before grabbing Faith's arm. "And she's leaving. We have to go."

"Oh..." Scott said in disappointment.

"Bye," Faith voiced as she pulled over to us and then down the hall.

"He's a cutie," Faith added before asking. "Is he seeing anybody?"

We ignored her as we continued down the hall.

Inside an abandoned warehouse, the dark-skinned man and the scary man were held up there. The lights were low as candles burned everywhere.

"Mr. Trick, talk to me," the scary man said as the dark-skinned man Trick typed away on his laptop.

"Check this out," Trick replied as he looked up before getting up and walking over. "This town, this very street is wired for fibre optics." He grinned. "See, we jack in a T-3, um, twenty-five hundred megs per, we have the whole world at our fingertips."

The scary man looked at him as he wasn't really understanding what he was saying.

"What I'm saying is, we stay local... where the humans are jumping, and the cotton is high... but we live global," Trick told him as he grinned before he continued. "I mean, you know, you get the hankering for the blood of a fifteen-year-old Filipina, and I'm on the net, and she's here the next day, express air."

"I want the blood of the Slayer," The scary man growled as he was slowly losing his patience.

Trick can't believe the scary man's shortsightedness before looking aside for a moment.

"On that note, there's good news and bad. Rumour has it that this town already has two Slayers, which makes three of them," Trick told him as he shook his head before saying. "I'm not real sure how that happened."

"I don't care if there are a hundred Slayers! I'll kill them all!" The scary man yelled before gesturing to his scarred blinded eye and saying. "She's going to pay for what she did to me."

"Yeah, she is," Trick said as he nodded before hearing a knock at the door. "I'm running a computer check on every hotel, rooming house and youth hostel in town." He headed over grabbed a welder's glove before putting it on and said. "Meanwhile, as soon as the sun goes down, we're out in force." He headed for the door. "Food's here, boys." He opened the door and hid behind it from the daylight outside.

"You guys order a piz..." The pizza man start to say as he looked in before he was grabbed by Trick and yanked in.

The pizza fell to the floor with the delivery man as Trick slammed the door before roaring and bent down for lunch.

Time Skip

After school, we met up with Jenna and Persephone before heading home with Faith. We did homework before making Loaded Nacho Fries for dinner before Aunt Joyce got up. Jenna fed Persephone upstairs, away from Faith. We ate dinner downstairs.

"So you're a Slayer, too. Isn't that interesting!" Aunt Joyce said as she smiled and served Faith the dinner we made before asking. "Do you like it?" She placed the bowl down.

"God, I love it!" Faith replied.

"Uh, Mom?" Buffy questioned as she wanted the bowl.

"Uh, just a second, honey." Aunt Joyce waved Buffy off as she scooped cheese sauce onto Faith's plate. "You know, Aurora and Buffy never talk that way. Why do you love it?"

Buffy gave up before grabbing a pair of tongs and spooned fries for herself before we took our turns getting the fries on our plates. After that, we added cheese sauce and the toppings before beginning to eat.

"Well, when I'm fighting, it's like the whole world goes away, and I only know one thing: that I'm gonna win and they're gonna lose. I like that feeling," Faith told her before digging into her food.

Aunt Joyce smiled before taking her seat.

"Well, sure. Beats that dead feeling you when they win and you lose," I voiced.

"I don't let that kind of negative thinking in," Faith stated.

"Right," Aunt Joyce replied as she pointed at Faith. "Right. That could get you hurt. Buffy and Aurora can be awfully negative sometimes." She turned to Buffy and me and said. "See, girls, you gotta fight that." She smiled.

Yeah... Well, seeing the negative can also make you see the positive when fighting evil.

"We're working on it," Buffy responded with a weak smile before she added toppings to her friends.

"Oh, Faith, can I get you another drink?" Aunt Joyce questioned as she noticed Faith's glass was empty.

"Oh, you bet," Faith replied as she gave her glass over.

"Right," Aunt Joyce said as she got up and went into the kitchen.

"She's really cool, huh?" Faith voiced.

"Best aunt/mom ever," Kyra told her before Buffy got up.

"Excuse me," Buffy said before heading into the kitchen part.

Kate, Kyra and I dug into our dinner as Aunt Joyce grabbed a bottle of cola out of the fridge.

"I like this girl, Buffy," We heard Aunt Joyce say as she poured Faith's drink.

"She's very personable. She gets along with our friends, mine and Aurora's watcher, my mom," Buffy said before looking over at us and added. "Look, now she's getting along with my loaded fries."

"Now, Buffy..." Aunt Joyce replied.

"Plus, at school today, she was making eyes at my not-yet boyfriends. This is creepy," Buffy told her.

"Does anybody else think Faith is creepy?" Aunt Joyce questioned.

"Yes, but I'm the one getting single-white-femaled here," Buffy pouted.

"It's probably good you were an only child even though you have godsisters," Aunt Joyce said as she nodded.

"Mom, we're just getting our lives back. We're not looking to go halfsies on it," Buffy replied.

"Well, there are some things I'd be happy to see you all share. Like the Slaying. I mean, the three of you fighting is safer than two, right?" Aunt Joyce returned.

"I guess," Buffy muttered.

"Unless I mean, you heard her. She loves the slaying," Aunt Joyce stated before asking. "Couldn't she take over for you two?"

"Mom, no one can take over for us," Buffy told her.

"But you're going to college next year, and Aurora's already taking college classes. I think it would be..." Aunt Joyce replied.

"Mom, the only way you get a new Slayer is when the old Slayer dies," Buffy returned.

Aunt Joyce quickly realized what Buffy had told her before Buffy realized she told her too much.

"Then that means you and Aurora..." Aunt Joyce said before asking. "When did you die? When did Aurora die? You never told me either of you died!"

"No, i-it was just for a few minutes," Buffy replied.

"Oh, I hate this. I hate your new life," Aunt Joyce nervously returned.

"Mom, I..." Buffy started to say.

"Look, I-I know you and Aurora didn't choose this, I know it chose you," Aunt Joyce interrupted before taking a breath and letting it out. "I tried to march in the Slayer Pride parade, but..." Before saying with a solemn tone. "I don't any of you to die."

Buffy lowered her eyes before shaking her head. She pulled her mother into a warm hug.

"Oh..." Aunt Joyce reacted.

"We're not gonna die. We know how to do our jobs," Buffy told her as she release the hug. "Besides, as you said, we've got help now." They looked over at the dining table as she said. "We've got all the help we can stand."

They headed back to the dining table and went back to eating.

After dinner, Buffy, Kate, Kyra, and I headed upstairs and grabbed a couple of weapons each before heading into the nursery to say goodnight to Persephone. Jenna was feeding Persephone as we walked in.

"Night, my love," I whispered before kissing her forehead.

The others followed suit before Kate said.

"See you later, Jenna," Kate said.

"See you, girls, after patrol," Jenna said before we headed out of the room and out of the school with Faith.

Sometime later, we were walking through a construction sight as we looked for vampires.

"Didn't we, um, do this street already?" Faith questioned.

"Funny thing about vamps. They'll hit a street even after you've been there. It's like they have no manners," Buffy responded.

"Mm. You both have been doing this the longest with Aurora doing this job longer than you," Faith said as she shrugged.

"We have," I replied.

"Yeah. Maybe a little too long," Faith returned.

"Excuse me? What's that supposed to mean?" Kate questioned as we looked at Faith.

"Nothing," Faith replied.

"You got a problem?" Kyra suggested.

"I'm five-by-five, B, A, K, K, living entirely large, actually wondering about your problems," Faith responded as she spread her arms.

"Well, we may not sleep in the nude and wrestle alligators..." Buffy started to say.

"May it's time you started, 'cause obviously something in your bottle needs uncorking," Faith interrupted before asking. "What is it t-the Angel thing?"

Xander and Willow told her about Angel?

"What do you know about Angel?" I asked her as we stopped in our tracks.

"Just what your friends tell me: big love, big loss. You oughta deal and move on, but you're not," Faith said with attitude.

She doesn't understand the love I have for Angel. He is one of my soulmates, and we'll get him back.

"I've got an idea: how about from now on, we don't hear from you on Angel or anything else in our lives," Kyra voiced before saying. "Which is, by the way, our lives."

"What are you getting so strung out for, B, A, K, K?" Faith questioned.

"Why are your lips still moving, F?" Buffy questioned.

"Did I just hear a threat?" Faith asked.

"Would you like to?" I suggested.

"Wow. Think you can take me?" Faith responded.

"Yeah. I just hope, they can't," Buffy returned as Kate pushed Faith aside as a vampire attacked.

We started fighting the vampires as they attacked. A vampire ran in and punched me in the face before tripping me to the ground. Kate and Kyra killed their vampire using their powers in secret as vampires continued to attack us.

"My dead mother hits harder than that!" Faith exclaimed after she got punched in the face by a vampire.

She continued to fight as we fought our opponents.

"Faith! Stake him already and give one of us a hand!" I yelled as I grabbed my silver stake and slammed it into the vampire's chest before attacking another vampire.

"This is me..." Faith said as she punched the vampire as she continued. "...you undead..." She kept hitting her opponent. "...bastard!"

Buffy reached for a piece of two-by-four in front of her as her opponent said.

"For Kakistos, we live! For Kakistos, you'll die!" the vampire exclaimed as she reached for the piece of wood.

"Faith!" Kate screamed as Faith continued to punch her vampire to a pulp.

"Oh!" Buffy reacted as she continued to reach for the two-by-four before she finally grabbed the board and swung it at the vampire's face while I kicked another vampire off of her.

"Faith!" Kyra yelled as Buffy got to her feet before jamming the makeshift stake into the vampire's chest.

I slammed my stake into the vampire that I kicked off Buffy's chest before he burst into dust. We put our silver stakes into the jackets. We walked over to Faith as she continued to whale on the vampire.

"You... can't... touch... me!" Faith said as she kept punching the vampire.

Faith shook the vampire before going back to punching him. We had enough as Buffy came behind her and pulled her off of him before staking the vampire herself.

"What is wrong with you?" Buffy confronted her.

"What are you talking about?" Faith asked.

"We're talking about you 'living large' on that vampire!" Kate answered.

"Gee, if doing violence to vampires upsets you, I think you're in the wrong line of work!" Faith yelled.

"Yeah, or maybe you like it a little too much," Kyra suggested.

"I was getting the job done," Faith returned.

"The job is to slay demons! Not beat them to a bloody pulp while their friends corner me!" Buffy exclaimed.

"I thought you all could handle yourselves," Faith said as she shrugged before walking off.

We all sighed before heading back home.

After we got home, we took turns and showered before changing into our sleepwear. After that, we headed downstairs for the breakfast talk. We sat at the dinner table and waited for Jenna and Jeremy to join us.

"Hey, good patrol?" Jeremy asked as he came into the kitchen dining room and sat down.

"Faith is something else, and I still won't trust her with Persephone or any of the babies," I answered.

"Okay, what's the plan for breakfast in the morning?" Jenna asked as she sat down.

"Something quick should be a great idea," Kate voiced as she sat down.

"Something easy to make as well," Kyra brought up as she sat down.

"How about whoever's up in the morning decides?" I suggested as I yawned. "Sorry, this baby is making me tired."

"Aurora, go get some sleep. We'll decide what we'll have for breakfast," Jenna told me.

"Okay, good night," I yawned before I got up and headed upstairs.

When I got upstairs, I went into the nursery and said goodnight to Persephone before heading into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth before heading to my bedroom. I opened my door and walked to my bed before getting in. I turned off my light and went to sleep.
