UA's Saiyan Heroes
"Agh, Kaen still hasn't returned?" Kirishima asked, talking to Mina on his phone.
"That's right. I'm starting to get worried about him. It's Saturday already and he's been gone all week." Mina said. "You don't think he'll do anything stupid right?"
"No, I don't think he will. Knowing Kaen, he's probably just blowing off some steam somewhere. I'll call you later, I have to get back to patrols." Kirishima said.
"Alright, stay safe Kirishima." Mina said, before hanging up.
"Something wrong Red?"
Kirishima looked up after putting away his phone, and at the hero he was working under for his Work Studies.
This was Fatgum, Quirk: Fat Absorption. He was a big guy, tall and round like a ball, with his hero costume consisting of black pants and an orange, zippered hood, which has the initials of his alias on the front of Fatgum, written with a clear FG and an inverted F on the other side. Alongside those, he also wears armored gloves, metallic boots, and a mask that goes around his eyes and over his forehead.
Overall, Fatgum was a pretty nice guy, and to boot he acted as more of a father figure to Kirishima, and Amajiki who'd returned to his Work Studies after taking care of some business at UA.
"It's nothing. Just a classmate I'm worried about. He's been gone all week, and it's like he vanished from existence." Kirishima stated.
"I get it, you're worried about a friend. That's only natural, but try to remember we need ya out here while on patrol as well." Fatgum said, eating from a full grill of Takoyaki.
"Right." Kirishima said, getting back on track.
"We've got idiots fighting non-stop on the streets these days." Fatgum stated. "Can't eat enough to keep up."
"That so?" Kirishima asked.
"Anyway, the agencies around here have been wanting a close-combat type like yourself for a while now. You're just what the doctor ordered Red Riot." Fatgum said.
"I promise I'll do my best." Kirishima said. "Though after this patrol I gotta resubmit my Quirk registration form."
"Why's that?"
"Well, this girl I'm into… She's one of the Saiyans at UA, she's in the support course. Anyways, I had asked her to do a few things. One of them was rewrite my DNA to make me a Saiyan as well, so I gotta resubmit it and change my species on the form to Saiyan." Kirishima explained.
"Ah, doing what you can to help an endangered race huh?" Fatgum smiled. "I like it."
"Also, she did something to my Quirk."
"Was it something bad?"
"No, nothing of concern, I just wasn't expecting it. She upgraded my Quirk, but made it so I had to earn the upgrade once my power level reached a certain point." Kirishima said. "I only learned about this before coming to your agency. But apparently, she tied it to my new Saiyan biology."
"Ah, that makes sense." Fatgum said. "Either way, we're glad to have you."
"Like I said, I'll do my best. Fourth Kind doesn't take on Work Studies Students, so I really appreciate you taking me on." Kirishima said.
"If only Mirio'd been around." Amajiki said as he thought back to when Kirishima confronted him about his offer to the underclassman. "Man, your persistence was terrifying."
"We're gonna work on those delicate nerves of yours Tamaki, and then you'll be worth your weight in gold." Fatgum said.
"Your expectations only drag me deeper into despair. It's always like this! I swear the man scouted me, just so he'd have someone to torment." Amajiki said. "I wanna go home."
"Maybe he's trying to encourage you? I mean, that's what mentors are supposed to do, right?" Kirishima said.
"Fat, come eat at our place." One of the shop workers called to him.
"Tomorrow." Fatgum replied.
"I'm not like you or Mirio, positivity's not my strong suit." Amajiki stated.
"Hey man, I know how it is. Sometimes when things get crazy, I feel useless too." Kirishima said. "There's a gap between me and my classmates, that's only getting wider. Especially between me and Super Saiyan. But I'm doing my best to close that gap, so I can fight beside them."
"That right there, that's called positivity First Year." Amajiki said.
"You should be taking notes Tamaki. You could learn a thing or two from him on that." Fatgum smiled, eating more Takoyaki.
"Man, I swear Fatgum, you eat just as much as a Saiyan." Kirishima smiled.
"Mmm? Do Saiyans eat a lot of food?" Fatgum asked.
"More then you'd think." Kirishima chuckled. "If you were to face off against Kaen, or rather Super Saiyan, in an eating contest, he'd beat you hands down."
"I'd like to see that happen." Fatgum smirked confidently.
"They're fight! Someone, help." A bystander called out.
"Oh, at it again." Fatgum said, turning to the villains that were running away from the others.
"What are you going after them for?" One of the other villains asked.
"Idiots think they can sell on my turf without permission."
"Can't blame us for trying to make some cash, come on, we gotta eat, just like anyone else." One of the running villains said. "Let's split up for now."
"Right."
"Not so fast." Fatgum said, as they ran into him, before he wrapped his arms around them. "Mr. Fat's got a little hug for ya."
"Damn it." One of the villains called out, as he slipped out of Fatgum's hug.
"Oops, lost one. Looks like he's got the same Quirk as Edge." Fatgum said.
"I've got this one." Kirishima said, flying straight for the villain, before clothes-lining him with a lariat.
"What the?" The villain asked, as his Quirk was forcefully deactivated. "What happened? Why'd my Quirk shut off?"
"Ki manipulation dude." Kirishima smirked, planting his foot on the villain's chest, while cracking his knuckles. "I just redirected your Ki, away from your Quirk genes. Thus deactivating the use of your Quirk in that moment. Giving me just enough time to pin you down so the police can come and arrest you."
"Don't blab about your secret techniques to the villains Red." Fatgum stated, tying up the others.
"Oops, my bad." Kirishima said.
"Other then that, not bad Red. You've got some natural talent, and you're even strong enough to manipulate Ki just like your Saiyan friend." Fatgum said.
"Well I am a Saiyan now as well. But thanks." Kirishima said as the police took the villains away.
"Now then, let's get back to patrolling and…"
Before Fatgum could even finish what he was saying, there was the sound of Gunfire echoing in the air, and Amajiki pushed Kirishima out of the way, as the projectile struck him in the arm, instead of his underclassman.
"Suneater." Fatgum called out.
"Now's your chance man." The shooter cried out to his teammates.
"Are you okay?" Kirishima questioned, running in front of Amajiki.
"Both of you, get down now." Fatgum called to them, running to the shooter, as he fired off a second time.
Hardening his body, Kirishima's head snapped back from the impact, chipping away a few shards of his hardened stone skin, but the projectile didn't go through, as it bounced off the hardened hero and landed on the ground.
"That guys mine too." Kirishima stated, hardening the rest of his body.
"Defective piece of junk." The villains said.
"I figured that would hurt more." Amajiki said.
"Suneater you're all right. That's great."
"Move, out of my way." The villains aid, stashing his gun away, and making a run for it.
"I've got him." Kirishima said, giving chase.
"Wait, I'll use my tentacles." Amajiki said, trying to use his Quirk, but nothing happened. "Why isn't it working?"
"Get back here." Kirishima cried out, as he chased the villain. "If only I had Kaen's speed."
"Don't go running off on your own! That's just asking for trouble." Fatgum said before turning to Amajiki. "You good? I'm gonna go after him. Other heroes will be here soon, fill 'em in."
"I'm not hurt, but my Quirk won't activate." Amajiki called to his mentor as the hero ran after Kirishima and the villain.
"Is Eraser nearby or something?" Fatgum questioned, stopping in his tracks and turning to his pupil.
~Kirishima~
"Leave me alone. Stop chasing me." The villain cried out, running through the narrow alleys, away from the hero pursuing him.
"I will if you stop running." Kirishima said, making the sharp left turn. "Come on. You should at least save your buddies, shouldn't you?"
"That's what you're mad about?"
"You shot someone, then ran off to save your own skin. Not much of a man, are ya?" Kirishima asked, managing to corner the villain. "It's a dead end, which means you're mine."
"Get away from me." The villain shouted, blades sprouting from his arm, and slicing down at Kirishima's neck, only for sparks to fly as they hit the hardened body.
With this opening, Kirishima didn't waste any time, as he slammed his fist into the villain's face, knocking him to the ground, rolling to the back wall.
"Red Counter." Kirishima cried out, as he struck the villain. "That was nothing, now come quietly, or it's gonna get a lot worse." He said, before he heard a surprising sound, coming from the villain. "Wait, you're crying?"
"It's not fair." The villain began. "You know what my Quirk does? Pops out blades, a whopping ten centimeters long, like a bunch of dinky box cutters. Of course I wanna save my bro's you jerk, but I'm scared. 'Least I was brave enough to shoot though."
"Shut up, if you're gonna whine and cray about getting caught, then you shouldn't be committing crimes in the first place." Kirishima said, grabbing the villain's arm and pulling him up. "Come on, up you go."
"I wanted to get stronger. I thought if I hung out with strong guys, I could get strong too." The villain said.
"Look, I understand how you feel but…"
"If I had just stuck with my bro's, I would have a shot at real power." The villain said, something dropping from his sleeve into his hand, and injected himself with it. "You don't understand anything hero. Don't act like you do."
~Shie Hassaikai~
"Tucker." Fujio said, looking at the red vile that was mandatory to keep on himself at all times. "Overhaul said this stuff is to be used as a last resort, by us. What exactly is this stuff you made?"
"Why, it's a steroid of course." Tucker smiled, pushing his glasses up. "That's the simple answer, the true answer is much more complex."
"How so?"
"Well…" Tucker said, petting Nina's head. "Let's just say that a single injection, can bring out your inner beast."
"This steroid can do that?" Fujio asked.
"Yes. I got the idea for it, when I saw what those candies did for that Saiyan when his fight with Stain, was all over the news. It's a mixture of the drug Trigger, a powerful and more potent version of it anyway, and something more I got from the Saiyan's severed tail, I had recovered from crime scene investigators after the Hosu incident." Tucker said, looking to the floating and preserved tail in the jar on his shelf. "I isolated a genome in the Saiyan's DNA that allows them to go feral and primal when looking at the full moon, and used it to finish the creation of this new drug. I like to call it, Primal Apex. An' it's permanent."
"Primal Apex?" Fujio asked, before he noticed a rattling in a cage off to the side, as Nina went to it.
"Yes. Though, the one your holding is the perfected product, while the one we sell out on the streets to make a profit, is watered down, and temporary, but still leave rather permanent adverse side effects." Tucker smirked.
"Eri…" Nina said, pressing her head against the cage. "Eri… let's play."
~Kirishima~
"What the hell is going on?" Kirishima questioned, jumping back as to evade the lethally sharp blades, that came shooting out at him from the villain's back.
The villain's body grew bigger, and from the looks of it, stronger as well. Blades sprouted from his back, destroying his suit jacket and shirt as they curved, and bristled out like porcupine quills. Kirishima could see that the villain's muscle definition was clearer as his arms and legs grew bigger with muscle mass. His back legs had even curved, and he was hunched over, like a feral beast ready for a fight.
'Damn it, what did he just inject himself with?' Kirishima questioned. 'I gotta be careful not to look up, it's a full moon tonight. I'm good at sensing Ki without my sight, but I'm not good enough to where I can use that technique in a fight, just yet. I'll just have to risk it.'
Turning around, the villain gave Kirishima a glimpse at his face, and the hero's eyes widened when he saw they were burning crimson, and his teeth had sharpened, turning into fangs.
"Damn it. He looks like one of those Gallic monsters, a Brucha, I think it's called." Kirishima stated. With nothing holding him back, the Villain charged at Kirishima, getting in his face, causing the hero's eyes to widen, before he felt a searing pain in his chest as the monstrous villain, used its newly acquired claws to swing at the redhead, and leave claw mark gashes in his chest. "GAAHH."
Stepping back as he held his chest, Kirishima felt his head getting heavy, and his sight was getting blurry. Looking down, he grit his teeth as he saw the blood on his hands, and pooling at his feet.
'Not good. His blades are now sharper then my hardening, I can't get close. An' the civilians witnessing the whole things have yet to leave, and there are probably more in the buildings around me. If he gets back to a busy street, it'll be total mayhem.' Kirishima thought, noticing the crowd behind him. "Everybody! Find someplace where this guy won't find you, and his blades won't reach."
Turning back in an instant, Kirishima reinforced his hardening, and held up his arms as he continued to block the slashes from the Meta Brucha, suffering from more and more bladed strikes. Swinging his arms out forward, Kirishima knocked the Meta Brucha off balance with a double hit, before kicking him in the chest, and sending him rolling back, his blade piercing the wall.
Freeing himself, the Meta Brucha roared at Kirishima, and thrust his arms forward, sending several razor sharp blades towards Kirishima. As the attack came at him, he remembered something Kaen said to him, one day during his training as a Saiyan.
"Instead of trying to do fancy tricks with your Quirk, aim for one simple yet strong finishing move. Leave all the fancy stuff to your Ki manipulation. Your Quirk might not be flashy, but it's strong. You might not believe this, but remember what my dad and I showed those villains, during the battle at Kamino. Just standing up, and being a wall that defends against attacks, is being strong. An' if you believe in yourself hard enough, you can become something unstoppable…"
'Something Unbreakable.' Kirishima thought, as he forced his Quirk to the limits. 'Harder. More.' He cried out, as his hardened body began to thicken, his hardening growing sharper, and stronger. The hardening on his chest, pinching off the blood pooling from his wounds, as he popped in a Senzu Bean, his stamina and energy returning, as his injuries healed themselves. 'Grow stronger. Body and spirit! Come on, Harden.' He cried as his pupils and irises took on curved diamond shapes, before the blades made an impact with his chest, and began to bend. 'Become a wall. A wall that's… INDESTRUCTIBLE." He roared out, as the bending blades snapped, and scattered, revealing his own monstrous transformation.
(Cue Music… Invincible: Skillet)
"After all the training I did to improve my Quirk, this is it at its maximum." Kirishima declared. "Red Riot Unbreakable! It's just you and me now ugly."
The Meta Brucha cried out in pain and anger, before running at Kirishima. Charging right at him as well, Kirishima slammed his fists together, before he held his left arm up and blocked an overhead strike from the Meta Brucha, and used his right hand to slam his fist into the villain's stomach.
'Thanks to the Ki manipulation training Kaen put me through, it's allowed me a boost in maintaining this form, from thirty seconds, to a couple minutes at least." Kirishima thought as he continued to trade blows with the Meta Brucha. 'That doesn't give me a lot of time, so I have to end this, fast.'
Taking a step back, Kirishima spun around on the ball of his left foot, and hit the Meta Brucha with a spinning back kick, knocking the mutated beast away. Stepping back in a daze, the Meta Brucha shook his head, but was unable to counter, as Kirishima continued to hit him with strike after strike.
"If you think, I'm gonna let you get out of this alley, and harm innocent people, then think again." Kirishima declared, each strike having more of an impact then the last. "I swear, on my Saiyan Pride, I will not let you pass by me and harm those people."
Rushing the villain, Kirishima hit the Meta Brucha with a double strike to the head, slamming his palms on the mutated villains ears, causing them to ring before Kirishima grabbed him by the sides of his head and slammed the Meta Brucha's head into his knee, with double the impact force.
Jumping back, away from Kirishima, the Meta Brucha regained his foothold, before he thrust his arms out and sent more blades at the hero. Focusing on a single point and sent all his blades at the Saiyan fighting him.
'I've only got about a minute left. I gotta end this quickly. It's as good a time as any, to try out, that move Kaen's been teaching me.' Kirishima thought as he used his arms to block the blades, before he used his tail to shatter them.
Jumping back, Kirishima pulled his arms back, with his right hand overlapping his left, and one of his right leg up over his left, with energy building up.
"Galick…" Kirishima charged up the attack, his Unbreakable form coming undone as he did so. 'I'm out of time.'
Seeing this window of opportunity, the Meta Brucha went charging at Kirishima, ready to finish him off, and skewer him.
"GUN." He cried out, letting off the attack as a purple beam fired from his hands when he thrust them forward.
The Meta Brucha skid to a halt, and tried to evade the oncoming attack, but it was too slow, as it made impact with the intended target, creating an explosion that blew gusts of wind out towards the civilians, causing the Meta Brucha to cry out in pain, and anger as it suffered defeat, and was unable to fight any longer.
(End Song…)
The smoke from the attack died down, revealing the Meta Brucha had reverted back to the villain he was before, but with a more feral and animalistic style to his hair.
"He may just be a kid, but he's got guts huh?" One of the bystanders asked.
"Totally amazing." Another said in complete awe of what he did.
"Did he say, he was a Saiyan?" The woman, helping up the first asked.
"Are you all okay?" Kirishima asked, looking to the civilians.
"We're fine. But what about you? You had been badly injured by that thing." The woman asked.
"I'll be fine." Kirishima said. "My transformation pinched off the bleeding, see?"
Turning around to face them fully, the citizens all saw Kirishima's chest had three jagged claw mark scars going across his pectorals, and partially down the right side of his ribs.
"That was incredible, young man."
"Hey, watch out."
Kirishima turned around, and raised his arms, and caught the wrists of the villain in his hands, as he tried attacking him.
"Don't you ever…" Kirishima stopped, when he saw that the villain's eyes were still blank, like they were rolled into the back of his head, while making feral and rabid animal sounds. "Hold on, what the hell did that drug do to you?"
Looking straight at the villain, Kirishima nearly missed as a blade sprouted from his forehead, forcing Kirishima to bend backwards.
Falling to the ground on his back, Kirishima brought the villain down with him, and placing a firm foot on the feral villain's stomach, he sent the man flying back towards the entrance to the alleyway with a powerful kick.
"FATGUM!" Kirishima cried out.
"I'm on it." Fatgum said, appearing in the entrance to the alley. "Sorry I'm late to the party." He smirked, catching the villain in his fat. "When you're fighting a villain, they win by killing you, beating you to the ground, or running away. But the only way we win, is by taking them in with no casualties. Remember this in the future Red Riot. The key, is how fast you can make the villain, lose the will to fight. But I'm glad to see you're already aware of that lesson, despite still being a greenhorn."
"Thanks Fatgum." Kirishima said, getting to his feet and dusting himself off.
"Excuse me young man." The first civilian said. "You were incredible back there."
"They way you kept him back, and stopped his blades from hitting us, was insane."
"I've been watching heroes for a long time now, and most would be scared of a guy like that."
"You saved our lives. I guess not all Saiyans are like Akuma after all."
"Indeed."
"Talk about making a big splash." Fatgum said. "That's a better reception then I got for my debut. Solid work out there. You'll be an amazing hero someday, I'm sure of it."
"Thanks sir." Kirishima smiled.
"Young man, what's your hero name?" The old man asked.
"Yeah, I wanna know too."
"I'm Red Riot." Kirishima said, turning back to the civilians.
"Well you can bet that's a name I won't be forgetting."
"Yeah, Red Riot's the coolest."
"Thank you." Kirishima smiled.
As the praise continued, none of them noticed the figure, standing on the rooftops, and looking down on the situation that had transpired, before leaving and heading elsewhere.
~The Following Week~
"Midoriya, good morning." Kirishima said, greeting Izumi as she came out of their dorm building. "You heading off to your work study too? Cool, so am I."
"Yeah, I finally got called in again, feels like it's been forever." Izumi said. "I wonder why they said not to wear our hero costumes?"
"It's because we're still just students." Kaen said, coming out of the dorm building.
After his talk, and lunch with Whis, Kaen returned to U.A, and after a lecture from his teachers and dad about what he'd done, he completed all his missed homework within a single night, while still maintaining his promise to Izumi about the double date.
"We're not fully licensed yet, so we're only allowed to go in our school uniforms, until we're given the approval." Kaen said. "Today's gonna be different. It's not gonna be like how the work studies normally go, so we're being called in, while asked to remain dressed as civilians."
"Glad to see you weren't fired from your work study." Kirishima said.
"Nighteye respects my dad to a near cultist worshiper point of view. So in his eyes, firing me would be the same as spitting in All Might's face." Kaen stated.
"Oh! Good morning guys." Uraraka said as she and Tsu came out of the dorm building. "You going in today?"
"Yeah." Izumi said.
"Huh, so are we." Tsu said. "That's kinda weird."
"Not really." Kaen said. "People go into work at the same time, all the time."
"True enough." Kirishima said.
~Later~
"Hey, us too. Wanna walk to the station together?" One of the heroes the group ran into said.
"Ooh, please." Uraraka smiled. "I mean if you don't mind."
"We appreciate it." Izumi stated.
"What's with all the heroes?" Kirishima questioned.
"Don't ask me." Kaen said.
Afterwards, making their way to the station, and boarding the train. Kaen couldn't help but recall what Whis had offered him.
'Whis, the attendant and teacher of Lord Beerus, an actual God of Destruction, is willing to teach me how to harness the power within the Wukong Gem I have in my chest. Why did I tell him I'd think on it? This is a golden opportunity for me.' He thought, as he mentally beat himself up over it.
"I can't believe I'm not going to Kansai today." Kirishima said.
"Everyone's on the same train, going to the same station." Izumi said. "This is kind of weird."
"Maybe." Kaen said, as their train came to a stop. "But I have a feeling we're unaware of something that the Pro's are aware of."
Walking down the street, Kaen couldn't help but feel like there was something going on, with all of them heading in the same direction, until they stopped at the Nighteye Agency.
"Heyo." Togata said.
"That's weird, the Big3 are all here as well." Kaen said.
"Do any of you know what's going on right now?" Kirishima asked, as they all entered the building.
"Not a clue. Fatgum just said to come to the Nighteye Agency in my uniform." Amajiki said.
"Same with Ryukyu." Nejire said.
"What I do know, is this meeting has been in the works for a while, and now that all pieces are in play, it's finally time we met up." Togata said, as they made their way in before looking at Kaen. "Kaen, about what had happened with Eri."
"Don't go there." Kaen said as they began going to the upper levels.
"But I…"
"You made a mistake. An' though my temper got the better of me, I did to." Kaen said, as they reached a set of large swing in doors. "What I did was wrong as well, so there's no need for you to apologize. I allowed my anger to control me, and I over reacted. So for that, I'm sorry. Let's just focus on the job at hand, and we'll get Eri back no matter what." He stated, before the doors swung open as he pushed on them.
Inside the meeting room, were several different heroes that Kaen recognized, and some he didn't. One in particular caught his attention as the familiar yellow cape caught his eye.
"Gran Torino." Kaen said.
"Ah, there you are young man." Torino said, turning to look at the Saiyan. "I had been a bit worried when your folks told me you had vanished again."
"I had to take care of something personal." Kaen stated.
"Well, it's good to see you again Kaioh Master Kaen." Ryukyu said, coming up and bowing to him. "Or is it Kaioh Emperor now?"
"It's good seeing you again too Ryukyu." Kaen chuckled, before Nejire butted in.
"Hey, what's the scoop, what's going on? Talk to me Ryukyu, I mean I know you said there was a meeting but what's it about?" The blue haired girl questioned.
"Patience, Nejire." Ryukyu smiled.
"You too, Mr. Aizawa?" Uraraka asked as she and Tsu approached their teacher.
"I'm confused, why are you here?" Tsu asked.
"I'd like to know as well." Izumi said, raising her hand.
"I was called in last minute for this thing." Aizawa said. "I think I've got a rough idea of what it's about."
"I'm gonna take a guess, and say you want us to use your Hero name, while working alongside you and this group?" Kaen asked.
"We're all here Nighteye." Ryukyu said. "Let's get started."
"First, Kaen Yagi you will leave the meeting room, and wait outside." Nighteye said.
"Not happening." Kaen stated. "I am staying for this meeting. An' if anyone here feels they can try and force me out, I encourage you to try. But I warn you, I didn't take the title of Kaioh Emperor for nothing."
There was a slight murmuring among the heroes gathered, before Torino stepped up.
"Let the boy stay Nighteye. He knows more about who we're talking about, then anyone else." Torino stated.
Nighteye looked at Torino, before looking back up at Kaen, with a mean glare in his eyes.
"Very well. He can stay." Nighteye said. "But don't blame me, if he ends up destroying the building in a fit of rage."
"If he does, I'll take personal responsibility for it." Torino said.
"Then let's begin." Nighteye said. "Thanks to the intel provided by all of you, our investigation has progressed substantially. We're invited you all here, for a joint conference to share the intel we've acquired. Regarding the Yakuza group, Shie Hassaikai, and what we believe they might be planning."
"Hold on, I feel like I'm missing something really important here, and that group sounds familiar for some reason. Shie H'what now?" Kirishima asked.
"Some bad guys are planning to do some bad things." Fatgum said. "An' they called a meeting so we could talk it all out. Trust me, you two are very much involved."
"More so than you may realize Kirishima." Kaen said, noticing part of Amajiki's arm was bandaged up.
"If everyone could take a seat, we can begin properly." Nighteye said.
"Alright, let's start at the beginning. For the past couple weeks now, those of us at the Nighteye Agency, have reinstated and have been conducting an investigation into the Shie Hassaikai." Bubble-Girl began to explain, as everyone sat down.
"The Shie Hassaikai is a small, but organized group of criminals, who work in the shadows, and have been keeping under the radar, even when doing their illegal activities." Kaen added.
"Let Bubble-Girl explain things Kaen." Torino said.
"Why? I'm the only one in this room, who's had the most experience dealing with the Shie Hassaikai." Kaen said.
"Just let her. This is Nighteye's meeting he called." Torino stated.
"Thank you Gran Torino." Nighteye said. "Continue Bubble-Girl."
"Yes sir." Bubble-Girl said. "I don't really need to repeat what's already been said, by the son of All Might."
"What prompted the initial investigation?" One of the heroes asked.
"The initial prompt for this investigation, was from a vision I had when I looked into Kaen's future after the All-for-One incident that took place with All Might, six years ago. Considering Kaen and his siblings were key parts in it, I felt my assist needed, and I saw something concerning. But it was unclear as to what, as it was several years into the future." Nighteye explained. "This was back when I was still one of All Might's sidekicks."
"What prompted the re-ignition of the investigation, was an accident involving a gang of thieves who called themselves the Reservoir Dogs." Bubble-Girl added.
"I heard about that." Another of the heroes said.
"The police thought the whole thing was an accident, but there were a number of details that didn't add up." Bubble-Girl continued. "So we began tailing them as we re-ignited the investigation."
"In my capacity as a Nighteye Agency Sidekick, I began following leads to see what I could uncover." Centipeder explained. "I found that in the past year, those outside the Shie Hassaikai have had increased contact with those outside of their organization, including other groups whose business dealings are less then reputable. Their aims seem to be directed towards expanding their organization, and enriching its coffers. Shortly after our investigation was reinstated, they made contact with a member of the League of Villains." He continued, bringing up a picture on a projector, of Overhaul and Fujio making contact with Twice.
"Who's that big guy with Chisaki?" Torino asked.
"That's Fujio Tetsuo." Kaen said. "Formerly known as Fujio Ashido, the Ex-Husband of Tsuki Ashido, and disowned father to Mina Ashido. He's also an escapee of Tartarus Prison."
"That's Ashido's dad?" Kirishima asked. "What happened to him?"
"How can you be certain of this Yagi?" Aizawa asked.
"Because some weeks ago, about the day after Izumi and Katsumi were put under House Arrest, I managed to make contact with him, and tried to convince him to help me with something that would have brought the Hassaikai's crimes to light." Kaen stated. "It was a no go."
"So, how do you know it's him though? He looks nothing like his mug shot." Centipeder said.
"Because he turned into that Chimera, right in front of me, and his dad, Mina's grandfather." Kaen said. "Overhaul has enlisted the employment of disgraced bio-engineer, Shou Tucker, and with his Quirk, managed to turn Fujio into that abomination we see on the screen."
"If we've heard enough from the peanut gallery…" Nighteye began, looking right at Kaen. "Continue Centipeder."
"Thank you sir." Centipeder said.
'Does everyone in the Nighteye Agency, besides Mirio hate me?' Kaen questioned.
"The villain's name is Jin Bubaigawara, villain name: Twice." Centipeder continued. "They were weary of being tailed, so I was unable to follow them, but with help from the police, I confirmed that an altercation had occurred between the two groups."
"That'd be about when they decided to reach out to Tsukauchi and me." Torino said. "They figured we'd be able to assist, given the League's involvement."
"Where is Tsukauchi?" The hero sitting next to Gran Torino asked.
"Follow-ups with some other eye witnesses, you know cop stuff." Gran Torino explained, before looking to Izumi and Kaen. "Sorry you two, I didn't see something like this coming. I've got a bad feeling that things are about to get ugly."
"I don't care if they do, I wanna help." Izumi stated.
"That goes double for me." Kaen stated.
"Hold on, do you two know him?" Togata asked.
"Gran Torino is the one I did my internship with, and he helped me learn better control over my Quirk." Izumi said.
"Plus… he was All Might's teacher, and he's sort of like my honorary grandpa." Kaen said.
"Go on Bubble-Girl."
"So, after all that went down…"
"Hold up." One of the heroes said, stopping Bubble-Girl. "Should we really be having this conversation in the midst of an enemy?" He asked, looking right at Kaen.
"Got something on your mind, Mr. Brave?" Kaen asked. "Because if you do, then I'm listening."
"I do actually. An' I think it's about damn time someone said it." Mr. Brave said. "How do we know, that this alien freak, isn't in the Hassaikai's pocket? Or working side by side, with the League of Villains like his brother?"
"An' this just goes to prove, even heroes are susceptible to Xenophobia." Kaen sighed.
"Watch it freak. I'm not displaying Xenophobia, I'm just being rational, and thinking straight." Mr. Brave stated. "For all we know, you could be trying to take over our world, just like your brother, but in your own way."
"Hey, Kaen's not the only Saiyan here too, you asshole." Kirishima said, getting to his feet.
"Oh, so you talked your classmate into becoming a freak like you huh?" Mr. Brave asked, looking at Kaen.
"I tried talking him out of becoming a Saiyan." Kaen stated.
"He's right. It was my choice, and my choice alone that I made. I don't care if you hate Saiyans, but we're here for this meeting to protect the innocent, and to figure out a way to deal with the Hassaikai." Kirishima exclaimed.
"Tsk, whatever. I'll be sure to catch you when you slip up, and you will. All villains do." Mr. Brave stated.
"Watch your tongue Mr. Brave." Ryukyu said, her eyes growing sharp. "Kaen Yagi, is the son of All Might. It would behoove you to show some respect, as he's also the Kaioh Emperor. The strongest martial artist in the world. He was even able to defeat me, with ease in that tournament."
"Strongest, aside from me."
The group of heroes turned to the door, and Kaen's eyes widened when he recognized the face of the man he fought against, and earned his title of Kaioh Emperor from, after winning the Tournament.
"Gramps." Kaen said getting up. "I mean, Yujiro Hanma sir. What brings you by?"
"I'm here, because I'm answering the summons that Nighteye sent out." Yujiro said, holding up his hero license. "I am a certified Hero after all. Even if it's just been for a couple hours after taking the H.A.Z.R.D Exams."
"Well… we welcome you, Ogre." Nighteye said. "Please continue once more, Bubble-Girl."
"R-right." Bubble-Girl said, as Yujiro took a seat between Kaen and Izumi, as Kirishima sat back down. "So, after all that went down, we posted a notice on the HN requesting assistance.
"I think we can skip that part." Centipeder pointed out.
"Sorry."
"What's the HN?" Uraraka asked.
"It stands for the Hero Network, it's an online service that can only be accessed by Pro-Heroes. My dad would often keep it open at times in his home office in case he needed to deploy to a team up or something serious." Kaen said. "Using this online service, you're able to see what all the heroes in the country are up to, and you can ask for help from people with specific Quirks that may come in handy during a case, such as this."
"An' that's how you knew when and where to strike for your diabolical plans, isn't it?" Mr. Brave asked.
"I am getting sick and tired of…"
"Watch yourself punk." Yujiro said, looking right at Mr. Brave, while interrupting Kaen. "Though he may not be of my blood, this young man is my descendant. An' I do not take too kindly, to those who treat my family, with such disrespect."
"Putting race and species aside, does anybody wanna tell me why a bunch of High School kids were invited to this conference?" Rock Lock asked. "I mean I get why Super Saiyan is here, but I don't care if the others are from U.A, if we have to keep stopping to explain this stuff, we'll never get to the actual plan."
"Don't say that." Fatgum said, standing up and holding his arm over Kirishima and Amajiki. "These two have important information to pass along."
"Uh… we do?" Kirishima asked.
"I wanna go home." Amajiki said.
"Anyway, I see a lot of new faces, so let me introduce myself. Nice to meet ya, I'm Fatgum." The BMI Hero said.
"He's so cute and squishy." Uraraka, Izumi, and Tsu said.
"Ha, who wants candy?" Fatgum smiled, giving them some candy. "I know you like candy too Kaen."
"Thanks Fat."
"You two already know each other?" Kirishima asked.
"You could say that. I was part of the rescue team that was put together when Kaen and his sister were kidnapped six years ago." Fatgum said. "Since then, I've been pen-pals with Kaen. I was with both of them, but Athena stopped after a few months when she started learning control over Xerox."
"If we may continue?" Nighteye asked.
"Sorry." Fatgum said, taking his seat again.
"Hassaikai's movements are hard to trace, but we suspect one of their main sources of income is illegal drug sales." Nighteye continued. "So I requested help from heroes who have some expertise in that area."
"Yep, I brought in my fair share of drug dealers back in the day, and at Red Riot's debut fight, he proved he could too!" Fatgum said.
"I saw. Quite the scary creature you turned into during that fight." Yujiro smirked. "But still, not enough to scare me."
"Takami was shot, and the bullet contained some kind of drug that I'd never heard of before." Fatgum said. "One that destroys Quirks."
"I thought so." Kaen said.
"You know something about this, freak?" Mr. Brave asked.
"If Nighteye had listened to me, the day Izumi and Togata had their run in with Overhaul, then this meeting would have been over with already." Kaen said.
"What you tell us from hearsay is irrelevant." Nighteye said.
"I told you, Chisaki told me his plans himself."
"An' when was this, when you were 'fighting' in the Suicide Forest?" Mr. Brave asked getting up from his seat. "Why don't you just admit you're in league with him?"
"Watch yourself punk." Torino said, glaring at Mr. Brave. "Attack him, and I'll be forced to attack you myself."
"As I was saying." Kaen said.
"No, you're not talking right now, this meeting isn't a place for gossip, or hearsay." Nighteye said, before the table fell to the ground as it was destroyed, from Kaen simply slamming his hand down, and breaking it in two.
"I'm talking. So shut up and listen." Kaen stated. "During my fight Kai Chisaki, or rather he prefers going by the name of his Quirk, Overhaul, told me what his plans were. Mainly because I rescued the source of the drug from his clutches."
"Mind filling us in?" Rock Lock asked.
"Chisaki's plans are simple. He wants to reverse time, not literally, metaphorically." Kaen said. "He wants to bring back the days when the Yakuza reigned supreme over the underworld. He wants to destroy Quirks, and erase them like a disease."
"An' how did he plan on doing this?" Ryukyu asked.
"Fatgum." Kaen said. "The drug you analyzed, did it contain human blood and cells?"
"It did." Fatgum said. "It made me sick to my stomach."
"The source of that drug, was a little girl with the power to reverse any living organism to a previous state in its existence. Her Quirk was called Rewind." Kaen stated.
"Was?" Rock Lock was confused.
"Xerox is like an upgraded version of All-for-One. But with a few key differences."
"Such as?" Mr. Brave asked.
"Athena can use Xerox to copy, steal, erase, upgrade, or downgrade any Quirk she comes into contact with. She can even combine more then one Quirk to make a new one as an upgrade. The only ones she steals or erases from are villains who prove to be too dangerous to let keep their Quirks." Kaen explained. "Athena switched out the Quirk Rewind for another Quirk called White Wrath. A chimera Quirk of Wrath and White Tiger. The angrier she gets, the stronger and more feral looking she becomes, rendering her useless to Overhaul and his plans."
"So what you're saying is…" Mirio said.
"Overhaul, was turning Eri's body into a Quirk erasing drug, and he's willing to kill her to get that Quirk back, if he has to. An' the substance Amajiki was shot with, was part of what remained from what they'd collected, before I saved her from them." Kaen stated, a rage filled gleam in his eye.
