UA's Saiyan Heroes

"No, absolutely not." Toshinori said, pacing around the common area of the Lookout, with Gine sitting on the couch accepting a drink from Gine.

"Dad…"

"No. I'm talking." Toshinori stated. "Now it's one thing, when you go to underground fight clubs in the dead of night to earn a little extra cash, I can turn a blind eye to that so long as you don't use your Quirk when fighting your matches, but I am not gonna allow for you, my son, to go on an uncertified and unapproved mission, that could compromise a mission the Nighteye Agency has been dealing with, for over a year now."

"You, went to underground fight clubs for money?" Yujiro asked, sounding proud. "I'm impressed my boy."

"I'm sorry, but who the hell are you, who put this crazy idea into my son's head?" Toshinori asked.

"Dad, I'd like for you to meet Yujiro Hanma. Your great-great-great-great-Grandfather." Kaen said. "Add another great to that and he's my grandfather as well."

"How is it, such a spineless sap like you, came from my genetics? Well I guess it's only natural, since they've thinned out quite a bit over the generations." Yujiro said before pointing at Kaen. "But this young man, he's a Hanma through and through, just like me. Yet he doesn't have a single ounce of my genes in him."

"You watch your mouth." Toshinori said.

"Dad would you please just listen?" Kaen asked.

"Fine son, I'll listen to what you have to say. But the answer's still no." Toshinori said.

"Dad… How did you feel?" Kaen questioned.

"Excuse me?"

"How did you feel, knowing All-for-One, had me and Athena in his grasp six years ago? As a father, how did it make you feel?" Kaen asked.

"Well… you'd been gone for over 36hours, your mother and I were pretty worried." Toshinori said. "But you're asking how I felt, personally. So my answer to that would be, rage, anger, and pain from a broken heart, knowing Celeron had turned out the way he had. I kept asking myself, where did I go wrong with him? What could I have done to make things better? But I also kept telling myself, that I had to save you and your sister, that when I got you back, I wouldn't make the same mistakes with the two of you that I had with Celeron. I felt… terrified I'd never see the two of you again."

"He'd only been missing for a day and a half Toshinori." Yujiro said. "It's been nearly three months since Eri's kidnapping; so just imagine how your son feels, about your granddaughter, his daughter having gone missing for this long."

"Dad…" Kaen said, bringing Toshinori's attention back to him. "I have been patient, this entire time, since Eri's kidnapping. I have been trying to keep myself, from just kicking in Overhaul's door and taking Eri back myself, the law be damned. But with Eri being so close to my grasp, I am having trouble keeping it together. If I can't help in anyway I can, to get my daughter back home safe and sound, I am going to lose it and I will act on my Saiyan heritage. An' we both know, nothing good for either the heroes or villains, can come of that."

Toshinori looked at Kaen, and saw the fire in his eyes. He saw the pain held behind them, and the anger raging, trying to break free.

"Even if I agreed to this, you're still contracted to Nighteye's Agency. An' I'm retired, so I can't overwrite it with a contract." Toshinori said.

"But I can." Yujiro said. "I have an agency of my own, and I can sign the contract to overwrite Nighteye's."

"Your agency isn't even a day old yet." Kaen said.

"Doesn't matter." Yujiro said, Mecheal handing him a contract. "I'm a certified hero, and I have my own agency."

"You too Mecheal?" Kaen asked.

"I would like to see my great-granddaughter brought home safely, so if that means I have to write up a contract for you to become part of Yujiro's Agency, I'll do so." Mecheal said.

"Now listen up kid." Yujiro said. "While I am your boss, don't expect me to go easy on you. Everyday you're not undercover with the Hassaikai, you're gonna be at my agency, training like your life depends on it. I'll make it feel like you're going through hell."

"I've already been to hell." Kaen said.

"No hesitation, and no fear. I'm liking you more and more kid." Yujiro said, stamping the contract.

"I'm still not comfortable with this idea myself." Gine said, pulling Kaen into a hug. "But I do so much want Eri to be brought back. When are you gonna be starting your undercover operation?"

"It starts soon. So I have to get ready." Kaen said, grabbing his jacket. "First thing's first, I gotta find Hawks. I'm needing to chat with him, and something else."

"What could you need from him?" Toshinori asked.

"I wanna ask him, some tips and trades for undercover work. This will be my first time, so I'll need all the advice I can get." Kaen smirked.

~The Next Day~

"Ah, there he is, the man of the hour." Rappa said, as Kaen came into the Hassaikai office, dressed in his underground fighting gear.

"I heard you got a job for me." Kaen said, the modulator mask hiding his actual voice.

"I do indeed." Overhaul said, motioning for him to sit. "Have a seat."

"I'm not here to play games, Overhaul." Kaen stated. "You had me going through several halls like it was a Goddamn Ant Farm."

"I apologize about that. You'll be well compensated for the trouble I assure you." Overhaul stated.

"Who's this?" Kaen recognized that voice, and turned to see Seryuu, Twice, and Toga standing in the doorway to the office.

"This, is a bit of extra muscle, a mercenary I hired." Overhaul said. "Saiya, I'm sure you're aware of who these three are."

"Twice and Toga I recognize from their mugshots on the news. But who's four arms here?" Kaen asked, playing it cool.

"This is the Ogress. She was once known as Strife, Stain's pupil, but after some… upgrades I gave her body, she changed her villain name, to one more fitting." Overhaul introduced.

"This guy looks lame. Cool costume bro." Twice said.

"Ooh, you're a mercenary? Do you cut people up, and watch them bleed?" Toga asked.

"I break their necks, without making myself known to my victims." Kaen stated.

"Ooh, you're a soldier of true justice." Seryuu said.

'Good, Celeron isn't here. Not yet at least. Not like it would have mattered, since he can't sense Ki like I can.' Kaen thought.

"Now then…" Shin began as he stepped up.

"Ah-ah-ah. I thought I made my terms and conditions clear?" Kaen asked, getting to his feet.

"Shin, stand down." Overhaul ordered.

"But sir."

"I said stand down. I've agreed to forego your questioning on him, as he doesn't wanna risk giving out sensitive information about his clientele." Overhaul said.

"Understood sir." Shin stated taking a step back.

"Rappa, he'll be stationed with you and Tengai." Overhaul instructed.

"Alright, we'll get to spar all we want." Rappa said. "First, we gotta do something about that gear of yours."

"Of course, I assume the gear in my agreement is ready?" Kaen asked.

"Almost. We're just waiting on it to arrive." Shin stated.

"Ah who cares? Your current gear will do until it comes in." Rappa said. "Let me show you around."

"Before you go, let me fill you in on what you're doing here." Overhaul said. "You're here, to act as security. I have an asset here, who is important to my plans. It's broken right now, and I've yet to hear back from the one who can fix the problem."

'He must be referring to me and Eri's Rewind Quirk.' Kaen thought. "So what's the need for all the security for this asset?" He asked.

"There's a chance, the heroes who've got an idea of what the asset is, will try to raid this place and take it." Toga said.

"Your job, is to hold them off with Rappa and Tengai, then if things are looking dicey, you will take the initiative and come to me and Kurono, escorting us through the escape route."

"Sounds easy enough." Kaen said.

"I'm expecting you to stay sharp though." Overhaul stated. "You're to carry out your duties, and stay focused ever day."

"I don't doubt it." Kaen said. "I swear to you Overhaul, I'll complete this job, with the most optimal outcome."

~Later at Nighteye Agency~

"Good work Bubble-Girl. Now start scoping out area 3 and…"

"Sir Nighteye." Centipeder said, coming into the office. "I apologize for the intrusion, but you have a visitor sir. He'd like to speak with you directly."

"Who is it?" Nighteye asked.

"It's Yujiro Hanma sir, it's the Ogre."

"Let him in. Trying to get him to leave would be pointless, as he's too strong for any of us to try and ignore." Nighteye said.

"Aw, you already know me so well Nighteye." Yujiro said, coming into the office.

"What is it I can help you with Ogre?"

"As of yesterday, All Might's son, Kaen Yagi has been contracted to my Agency. The Majin Agency." Yujiro said, putting the contract down. "Your contract with him, is null and void."

"I take it that means, you also have him as part of the rescue team?" Nighteye asked. "Despite my warnings about his unstable emotions being a hindrance to the mission."

"You could say that." Yujiro stated.

"What's that mean?"

"You're aware of what he did for money during his final year in middle school, right?" Yujiro asked.

"Bubble-Girl had informed me of it, yes." Nighteye stated.

"Kaen's fight promoter, was contacted by Overhaul, wanting to hire Kaen's alter ego, Saiya, for a bit of extra muscle, as they'd done business before on the night of Kaen's final fight for the underground fight club." Yujiro said. "Kaen, has taken that job opportunity to go undercover, and dig up a little dirt about the Hassaikai, that should prove useful to the mission."

"Because Overhaul has no clue Kaen, and Saiya, are one in the same." Bubble-Girl said.

"An' the fruits of this endeavor, are already paying off." Yujiro stated, putting down a piece of folded up paper on Nighteye's desk.

"What's this?"

"A coded message, I've already deciphered." Yujiro said. "Kaen's confirmed that the Hassaikai and the League of Villains have indeed joined into a pact and a partnership."

"That is troubling news." Nighteye said. "But it is helpful."

"Another thing he learned, was the drug used by that low life villain Fatgum's sidekick took down, was manufactured and distributed from the Hassaikai main base, but it was part of a defective batch." Yujiro stated. "He's got a vile of it himself. He says all members of the Hassaikai's Eight Bullets, are given a vile of the perfected drug, created by Shou Tucker."

"That complicates things."

"See, it was a mistake to take Kaen out of the fight." Yujiro said. "He learned more about the Hassaikai in twelve hours, then you did in twelve months."

"I see what you're getting at." Nighteye sighed. "So I take it you have a means for talking to him while he's undercover?"

"I do. Let me know when the day of the raid happens, and I'll be sure to notify him on when it happens." Yujiro said.

"If he's with the Hassaikai, then he should already know where Eri is." Centipeder said.

"Unfortunately, he hasn't gotten confirmation about that yet. An' he can't exactly say, where the base he's at is located, as they had him blindfolded when they picked him up." Yujiro said. "They only removed it when he was inside the outer walls surrounding the building."

"They're being cautious. Very well, keep in touch with me about his updates, and I'll let you know when to tell him about the day of the raid, when we come up with it." Nighteye stated.

"Sure thing." Yujiro said, heading off. "One more thing before I go."

"Yes?"

"Kaen also said, that if he has to, he will destroy the Hassaikai all on his own." Yujiro said, before taking his leave.

~Weeks Later~

It was the dead of night at the Class 1-A dorms, most of the students were sound asleep, while Izumi, Kirishima, Uraraka, and Tsu were all wide awake, being unable to sleep as they couldn't get their minds off the situation they were all in, nor on the fact, that Kaen had gone missing again, and he'd been gone for nearly a month, but they trusted when his father, Toshinori said that his absences were excused, due to being related to Work Studies.

Closing her eyes to try and get some sleep, Izumi was alerted by her phone that she got a message. Getting out of bed, Izumi ran out of her room and to the elevator, meeting up with Uraraka and Tsu on the way down, before meeting up with Kirishima.

"Alright, you too?" Kirishima asked.

"We got it." Tsu confirmed, Uraraka nodding in acknowledgment.

"It's happening." Izumi said.

"I don't feel right doing this." Uraraka said. "We shouldn't be doing this without Kaen."

"You won't be."

Kirishima, Izumi, Uraraka, and Tsu all turned to see Mina, holding a cup of warm milk, and a saddened expression on her face.

"I know Kaen's gonna be there, whether he's been bared from the mission or not." Mina said. "He'll be there to get Eri back, no matter the cost. So please, get her back for me. For us."

"I promise you Ashido, we will." Kirishima said. "On my Pride, as a Saiyan Warrior we will bring Eri back no matter what."

"You have my word too." Izumi said.

"Same here." Uraraka smiled confidently.

"I'll do my best, and bring her back." Tsu said.

~Shie Hassaikai~

"Hey Saiya. You good?" Rappa asked. "You've seemed a little tense since you met with Tucker. I mean, I know they guy's a creep, but still what's the deal?"

Kaen just looked at Rappa, then went back to meditating.

"I wasn't expecting to see a bunch of animal corpses hanging off of hooks, Rappa. That sight would shake even hardened veterans to their core." Kaen stated.

"Yeah, I suppose that's true." Rappa laughed.

"Still, to be one as balanced as you, in both mind and body, is quite the sight to behold. Your body is refined to that of a seasoned warriors, yet you're still so young, and your mind is balanced to that of near sagely wisdom." Tengai said.

"I still have a lot to learn though." Kaen said, before he pulled out his phone as he felt it go off. "Hello…? Understood… No I don't want a management position, I'm content where I am… I told you, I quit for a reason… Well better luck with the next guy." He said, before hanging up.

"What was that all about?" Tengai asked.

"It was the fight promoter. Ever since he managed to find my number, he's been calling me every now and then to try and convince me to come back and work for him." Kaen stated.

"Really? He hasn't spoken to me about any like that." Rappa said, sounding suspicious of him.

"Well, why would he? You got your ass handed to you on a silver platter, by me. Who do you think he'd want, the best of the best, or you?" Kaen asked.

"Ouch man." Rappa laughed. "I suppose you make a fair point. The Underground Fighting World is ruthless."

~Nighteye Agency~

"Huh?" Rock Lock asked. "They're keeping this Eri girl in their stronghold?"

"An' by stronghold, you mean…"

"The headquarters of the Hassaikai." Ryukyu said. "It's their leaders residence."

"So you're telling me, all that time we spent investigating was for nothing then?" Rock Lock asked.

"Not at all, we gained plenty of new information as well." Nighteye said.

"We have an informant on the inside, working in the Hassaikai." Nighteye said. "He confirmed the information about the League of Villains, and he also noted that every couple days, one of the Hassaikai's members goes out, and comes back with a children's toy or two. He wasn't sure if it was gonna be moved from the stronghold, so he informed me of his description, and I spent a couple days scouting out the toy store, within the closest proximity to the stronghold, and I eventually found the man I was looking for."

"Are you sure this, informant is someone we can trust?" Ryukyu asked.

"He is." Yujiro stated. "In fact, he's someone you all dismissed as being too emotionally unstable to join the mission."

"Wait, you mean Kaen's the informant?" Fatgum asked.

"Whoa for real?" Kirishima asked.

"Seriously?" Izumi questioned, while Tsu and Uraraka were equally shocked.

"Look at that, you got it instantly." Yujiro smiled. "Kaen was no longer a member of Nighteye Agency after the conference. He signed up with me, and I permitted him to take a given opportunity to go undercover."

"It's taken a while, but we've finally found where Eri's being held, and whether or not the League of Villains are somehow involved." Nighteye said. "I was wrong to assume he would be too emotionally unstable. So far nothing he's done has put the mission at risk. An' now that we know where Eri is, we know we can strike and take them down."

"We've already got a warrant to search the place, after doing some work with the police." Bubble-Girl said, handing out a couple photo's. "Also, this is what Kaen will look like while undercover, if you spot him, say the words, it's time to let loose, and that'll be his signal to blow his cover. He's currently going by the name Saiya while undercover."

"Flashy, looks more like an edgy anti-hero type of fighter though." Fatgum said, before handing the photo to Kirishima. "But how did he get this undercover gig so quickly?"

"During the final year of Middle School, Kaen earned money, by fighting in an underground fight club." Bubble-Girl explained. "During the night of his final fight, he was approached by Chisaki, and offered a job as muscle for hire, but turned it down. Then, about a month ago during the patrol that he and I were on, he got a call from the fight promoter, saying Chisaki had come by looking for him again."

"After he left, and I followed, Kaen gave the promoter a call, saying he'd take the job so long as conditions of his, contract, were met. As he was posing as a mercenary for hire, who participated in the fights of the underground fight club, while business was slow for him, Chisaki agreed to the terms of the contract." Yujiro continued. "I've already notified Kaen about the situation, and that we'll be storming the Hassaikai Stronghold today. Of course, his replies had to be in code so no one would get suspicious of him."

"So what's the plan from here?" Ryukyu asked.

"Next step…" Bubble-Girl began, as she took a pose.

"Is to barge in there." Fatgum stated.

"Aw man, that's my line." Bubble-Girl complained.

"Now then. Let's begin." Nighteye stated.

~Hassaikai Stronghold~

"Boss." Kurono said, lowering his phone. "It sounds like they've figured out where we are."

"So they're coming." Overhaul sighed. "Proceed according to plan."

"You got it Sir." Kurono said.

"Ogress, prepare yourself." Overhaul stated, getting up from his seat.

"Right." Seryuu said as Overhaul left.

"Where are you going?" Kurono asked.

"To take care of something and check on Tucker's little, experiment." The Hassaikai head stated as he closed the door behind him.

~Outside the Stronghold~

"As you know, Nighteye was able to use his Quirk on a Hassaikai member. Through it, he saw underground facilities, and we believe them to be this Yakuza groups headquarters." The Lieutenant said addressing his men. "We were also able to confirm, that the girl we are trying to rescue, is currently being held in one of the rooms there."

"The police don't know about Kaen's involvement?" Ryukyu asked Nighteye.

"They do not. I purposefully kept that intel from them, to avoid any leaks getting to the Hassaikai, should someone within the department be in Chisaki's pocket." Nighteye stated.

"Smart call." Fatgum said.

"Though we were unable to map out the entire layout of the underground facility, we believe the man Sir Nighteye saw, took the shortest route to our target." The Lieutenant stated. "This is the best intel we have at the moment, concerning the Hassaikai's stronghold. It's the basis of this mission. Stay smart, these guys are dangerous, and we can expect them to bring their Quirks against us, full force. We're passing around a list of current Hassaikai members and their Quirks, according to our registration data bases. Commit this to memory."

"It's solid information to have on hand, thanks for this." Mr. Brave said.

"We don't wanna give them time to hide. Our aim is to identify and apprehend all members as quickly as possible, while securing our target."

"Things are moving fast now, huh?" Kirishima asked.

"You're energetic, considering how early it is." Amajiki said.

"I'm getting nervous." Uraraka said.

"No joke. First detective work, and now we're cooperating with the police. There's so much I don't know." Tsu said.

"Right? So official." Nejire added, mimicking Tsu's hand gesture.

"That's true." Ryukyu said. "Schools don't always prepare you for something like this. It takes some time to adjust."

"She's right." Kesagiri Man agreed.

"All the pro's seem like they're pretty chill, huh?" Kirishima asked standing next to Izumi. "So brave."

"Hey… I haven't seen Gran Torino around here this morning, do you know where he is?" Izumi asked.

"Apparently he won't be joining us today." Nighteye said.

"Uh, Sir?" Izumi turned to look at her mentor for this Work Study.

"Tsukauchi's been keeping an eye on the League." The Lieutenant stated. "According to him, it looks like they're on the move. Fortunately, we have plenty of heroes here, so we can afford to send Gran Torino."

"I see." Izumi said.

"Maybe we can take down the Hassaikai and the League of Villains at the same time." Kirishima suggested.

"That's certainly optimistic of you boy." Yujiro smirked.

"Let's go." Izumi said.

"Not yet." Aizawa stated, alerting her to his presence.

"Ah, Mr. Eraserhead sir."

"I'm teaming up with Nighteye Agency for this." Aizawa stated. "Do you understand me?"

"Yes sir." Izumi said with confidence.

"Now, Heroes! Things could get violent quickly out there. If you even encounter a hint of suspicious behavior or resistance, call for help immediately." The Lieutenant ordered.

"Here, take this sword fish. Eat up." Fatgum said, giving Amajiki a pack of swordfish.

"You think I'll need it? Okay, sure, thanks." Amajiki said accepting the food.

"We're up against gangsters who've avoided capture until now." The Lieutenant continued. "It is imperative that each of you carry out your respective assignments, and stay sharp in there!" He said, before saluting the heroes, with his troops following suit. "We will commence the operation at 0830 hours. Heroes, move out."

"Hey Deku, you got Kaen's shield on you?" Kirishima asked.

"Yeah, why?"

"Let me hold it. You'll be able to move a bit more nimbly without it constraining your movements." Kirishima said.

"Good idea." Izumi said, handing Kirishima the folded up shield. "Let's go save Eri."

~8:30AM~

"Once they've read the warrant, then you're free to move." The Lieutenant stated.

"I've got a bad feeling about this." Kirishima said. "Hold on, it's not just a feeling."

"What do you mean?" Fatgum asked.

"Someone's coming, and from their Ki, they aren't gonna be willing to answer some questions." Kirishima stated, before his eyes widened. "EVERYONE GET DOWN NOW." He shouted, getting down.

Seconds after all the others followed suit, the gates to the Hassaikai Stronghold burst open, with Rikiya smashing through them, in a fit of rage.

"Whaddaya want?" Rikiya questioned. "It's too early for visitors."

"Aw man, you kiddin' me?" Rock Lock asked. "How do they already know we're here?"

"It had to be that damned Saiyan. He's betrayed us and is in League with the Hassaikai." Mr. Brave stated.

"Shut your mouth, or I'll rip out your tongue." Kirishima hissed, sounding rather pissed. "I've had it up to here with you accusing my friend of being a villain." He stated, raising his hand up past his head.

"It's most likely they've got eyes in high places we haven't checked, or didn't think to look." Aizawa stated.

"That's good, I'm waking up a little." Rikiya said, shaking his shoulders loose, before raising his arm as it increased in mass, and he punched at the police.

"Brace yourselves." Ryukyu said, getting in front of them, as her body began to change.

"Why are you people here?" Rikiya asked, throwing the punch.

The cloud of dust buildup from the punch, was quickly blown away by the wind pressure, showing Ryukyu in her full transformation, having caught his fist in one of her claws.

"Listen to me." Ryukyu said. "We shouldn't split up too many of our forces yet. The Ryukyu Agency will take care of this villain." She stated, slamming Rikiya into the ground. "The rest of you, go."

"I'll help you out as well." Yujiro said. "I get the feeling, I won't get a chance to shine inside."

"Let's support them." Nejire said.

"Right." Uraraka stated, as the three of them leapt into action.

"You heard her, everyone move, c'mon." Fatgum said, ushering the others into the perimeters of the walls.

"This is the heroes, and the police." The Lieutenant called out. "We have a warrant to search your premises, on suspicion of manufacture and sale of illegal drugs."

"They've got a search warrant?"

"Who cares?"

"Out of our way." Kirishima called out, priming Ki blasts to fire at them. "We don't have time to be dealing with you." He stated, firing off the Ki attacks.

Upon impact with the ground at their feet, a dust cloud was built up, blinding the three Yakuza before Kirishima came charging through and hit the two in front with a double lariat, and kicked the third bigger guy in the stomach, before kicking off his torso and hitting him with a roundhouse kick to the head.

"Stop resisting." Kesagiri Man said, as the three of them were restrained.

"They sure led with a brawler. These guys ain't scared." Rock Lock stated.

"Quickest route, let's go. Get to the girl." Fatgum stated.

"We've got this, don't we?" Mirio asked.

"Yes." Izumi stated.

"Hate to just barge in like this, but… we're kinda in a hurry." Fatgum said, as they made their way through the front door. "Haven't seen any signs of suspicious activity yet."

"Yeah bro, same here." Rock Lock stated. "But hey, we're in it now, right? We got no choice but to see it through."

"Is it possible somebody leaked our plans for the raid?" Amajiki asked. "There must be a reason they all came pouring out like that."

"No, if there had been a leak, I think they would be fighting more cohesively." The Lieutenant said. "Groups like this are used to working together."

"There's nothing that matters more to these guys then their bond with their boss and their brothers." Aizawa said. "Being part of the underworld, only makes loyalty that much more sacred to them. All those people outside, but we haven't caught sight of the Top Brass yet. They're probably underground hiding, or getting ready to flee."

"How the hell's that supposed to be loyalty?" Kirishima questioned. "Forcing their henchmen to fight for them, while they run away isn't manly at all."

"I'm only speculating but… maybe they're only loyal to Chisaki, out of fear, not trust." Izumi said. "Kaen said that Chisaki told him that he had obtained his current position, because he destroyed part of the old boss's brain, and left him comatose in a vegetated state, and would leave him that way, until he'd finished his goal with Eri as the catalyst."

"That might very well be the case."

"This is it." Nighteye said, as they stopped in front of a potted sakura branch. "There's a device here, that opens a hidden passage, and you press down the floorboards in a specific order to open the door."

"It's like a ninja hideout, how cool." Bubble-Girl said.

"Thank goodness for your Quirk Sir." Centipeder said. "Guards up, we don't know what we might be facing in there."

"I do." Kirishima said, preparing a large Ki blast.

The instant the Yakuza on the other side made themselves known, Kirishima released the Ki blast, and knocked them down, giving the heroes a chance to run in.

"Bubble-Girl and I will stay behind with some officers to restrain these hoodlums and take care of anymore who make their way to us." Centipeder stated.

"Right. Good luck." Izumi stated.

"We'll catch up when we can." Bubble-Girl stated.

"We're almost there. Hurry!" Nighteye said as they reached the bottom of the stairs.

Turning the corner, the heroes and police stopped in their tracks when they saw that a wall was in their path.

"It looks like a dead end." The Lieutenant said. "So, what now?"

"I'm not sensing anyone behind it." Kirishima said. "Deku, mind giving me a hand with this one?"

"Right." Izumi said, powering up with One-for-All.

"Hold on, how can you be certain?"

"Ki isn't like radio waves. The only way to block it, is if you know how to suppress it." Kirishima said. "In which case, anyone who knows how to use or sense Ki, can sense it through stone, and pretty much any material blocking sight."

Charging at the wall, Kirishima and Izumi smashed right through it, revealing that the redhead was right about no one being on the other side.

~Overhaul~

Kurono stopped in his tracks, the tarp covered cage he was wheeling stopping just a bit ahead, as Overhaul looked over his shoulder, hearing the sound of the stone wall to block the oncoming heroes, shattering to pieces.

"Seems these heroes are more resilient than we thought." Overhaul stated. "No matter. Seryuu and Saiya, should make short work of them soon enough."

~Rescue Team~

"So it wasn't an actual dead end. It was just blocked." Rock Lock stated.

"I get the feeling this was Chisaki's doing." Nighteye guessed.

"If he did this, then it's gotta mean, we're on the right track." Izumi stated as they continued running.

"Yeah, you're right. But he's an idiot if he thinks a dumb wall can stop us." Kirishima exclaimed.

"Not so fast, all you fake heroes." A voice echoed around them, as the walls and floor, and ceiling began to warp.

"What's going on?" Kirishima questioned, trying and failing to keep his footing.

"Everything's twisting." Izumi added.

"I'm not letting any of you fakes, get anywhere near Overhaul, unless one of you has something that'll return Rewind to the brat. He has plans for Eri, even as she is now."

"Strife?" Izumi questioned recognizing that voice. "Where are you, what do you mean by that?"

"Oh, Professor Tucker had his fair share of fun with Eri before he was done with her. Of course he made sure not to kill her, as she's the only one Rewind is truly compatible with. I'm honestly surprised Akuma's little mistake of a brother isn't here with you. He'd have been such fun to torment." Seryuu said. "An' the name's Ogress now. But I've prattled on long enough, time to die all you fakes, rejoice as you sacrifice yourself in the name of true justice."

"They hell? I thought she could only create weapons from her body, where'd that power come from?" Kirishima questioned, trying to keep steady.

"Akuma, Kaen's brother has his own Quirk, a copy of All-for-One. He must have managed to take this Quirk from someone and gave it to Seryuu." Izumi said.

"The body of one of the Hassaikai members, Code Name: Mimic, was discovered at the destroyed warehouse. This is his Quirk she's using." Nighteye stated. "His Quirk was Mimicry. It allowed him to enter solid objects and manipulate them as if they were his own body."

"She must have gone into the concrete in the halls down here, and turned this place into a living maze." The Lieutenant said.

"It shouldn't be possible on this scale though." Rock Lock said. "Inaka's profile said, he couldn't control anything bigger then a damned refrigerator. So how is she controlling the entire underground structure?"

"Remember who we're dealing with here." Fatgum said. "Dollars to doughnuts she's using a performance enhancer. I was ready for just about anything, but I didn't expect the whole building to turn against us. Still, controlling something this big's gotta be wearing the girl out, especially if she's not quite used to this new power of hers. Eraserhead?"

"I can't do anything unless I can lay eyes on her actual body." Aizawa stated.

"Everyone stay on your guard, there's no telling how many more abilities she's got now." Izumi said.

"She's got the villain Magne's Quirk." Nighteye stated. "Through Kaen, we managed to learn she got Magnetism through Overhaul killing them both, and then reassembling Strife, or rather Ogress, with the excess mass and Quirk Genes of her now dead compatriot Magne."

"My, my. So that monkey was doing recon on the League was he? Too bad he's not here to help you out. In which case, you won't be making it out alive." Seryuu stated, with an insane laugh.

"With the passage way shifting and warping like this, they can make as many escape routes as they need." Amajiki said. "We have to think quickly if we wanna catch them. No, who are we kidding? They're gonna escape with the girl, and we're all gonna die down here."

"Tamaki." Togata said, snapping his best friend back to reality as he grabbed his shoulder. "No way that's gonna happen. Understand? You can do this Suneater."

"Mirio." Amajiki gasped.

"Besides, this is just a stopgap! They can warp the path forward all they like, but as long as we know the direction of our goal, I can still reach it." Togata said, marching forward, before he began running forward.

"Lemillion." Nighteye called out.

"Come back." Izumi called to him.

"Speed is what matters right now. Those guys know it too, that's why they're stalling for time. I'm going on ahead." Togata called back to them, before he vanished behind a wall.

The instant Togata was out of sight, the ground opened up underneath the rest of them, and they fell to the lower level.

"Oh well, not like he'll really be able to do anything by himself if he gets to them." Seryuu stated.

"Now where are we?" Izumi questioned, as everyone picked themselves up after the fall.

"Somewhere even farther from the target." Rock Lock stated. "Those guys are really screwing with us."

"Well what have we here?"

The group of heroes and police officers turned to the direction the voice came from, and spotted who had spoke, as he was part of a three man team all of them wearing masks.

"Looks like some state-authorized thugs crashed out party, isn't that strange?"

"These guys are obviously ready for a fight." Fatgum said. "Let's see how long petty criminals can last against the strength of a pro."

"The Pro's should save their strength for when they reach the target." Amajiki said, stopping his mentor from fighting. "These guys just wanna slow us down. Go on, I can handle them myself." He stated, a fire igniting in his soul, and an enraged glare in his eye.
