Chapter Two Sneak Peek
Commander White really wished she could sit down and rest, but sadly as the leader of YoRHa she couldn't show any signs of weakness. It would damage morale if the Operator-model Androids in the room saw that their leader was exhausted or taken the emotional toil of sending Androids to their deaths.
In fact, sometimes White was tempted to have her emotions suppressed so that she could make life or death decision without being burdened by the sentiment and not feel the mental fatigue of taking the demanding role of a military commander. White couldn't do that.
Certain modifications could be allowed and that was mostly limited to the physical body of Androids. Deliberate alterations of the Android mind, their programing, went against the very directives that made the core programming of all Androids. Their human creators, and the Androids all-consuming desire to imitate their makers, placed limits on what could be done about changing the designs of Androids.
And even if Androids could bypass their code directive, it went against the very core of Androids values. Such an action was taboo. This was similar to their human creators had their morals and ethics regarding certain topics like genetic technology. Those that went against this taboo were traitors for betraying the ideals of their human creators and deserved to be permanently eliminated by the Executor-model series of Androids.
Thanks to her superior hardware and programming that was amongst the best that Android-kind had to offer, Commander White could automatically handle the task of leading YoRHa's operation all the while thinking without compromising her duties.
Or at least that was how things were supposed to work until she heard something that brought all programming processes to a screeching halt.
"Repeat that again, 21O!?" screamed White, which was highly uncharacteristic of her and the Operators in the room all stared at her as a result. She didn't give a damn about the reputation she had honed over the centuries as a cold and calculating leader. What she might have mistakenly heard overrode everything.
"Magical energy signature of a human has been detected…" replied a very shaken 21O, whose voice cracked and wavered.
"Send me the data directly to me!" shouted White, ignoring the normal process of verbal communication to imitate their human creators when it was much faster and efficient to communicate electronically.
"Right away, Commander!"
When White received the report, her mind shutdown as she read inside her mind.
How is this possible!? screamed White inside her mind. Humanity is supposed to be extinct?! She paused to think. This maybe a computer error…
White took direct control over 21O's workstation and checked if the electronic systems was working properly and she worked downwards to investigate every piece of evidence that the unbelievable report she had received.
For entire minute, which could be a hour for a hour for a normal human to think thanks to White's specially designed body (hardware) and mind (programs), White ignored everything that was happening inside the command room and focused on finding even the smallest trace to disapprove the report. When she found no evidence that no errors or anything amiss, true happiness blossomed in White's heart.
Finally! We have really found solid proof that somehow a human has managed to survive after thousands of years since their extinction. White screamed in glee after finding real hope for who knows how long.
The days of pretending that humanity still existed on Moon could finally come to an end!
Every Android, who knew the closely guarded secret that humanity was in fact extinct, had agonized over the misery that their creators had placed irremovable directives in their programming. A command that prevented them from bring back their creators from the grave unless a living human authorized such a historical order.
The days of guarding the secretive and most heavily protected gene-banks of their creators was over!
YoRHa and the Army of Humanity could finally crack open the meticulously guarded genetic material of their creators. They could begin the repopulation. And it wouldn't be long until…
Humanity could once more be born and walk on the Earth!
"Send an encrypted message, using our most secure encryption protocol, to the Army of Humanity leadership. Tell them Protocol Genesis is in effect. I want every Android, young and old, fit or crippled, no matter what they are doing to take attack every known and suspected Machine location! No one, be it Machine or their long-disappeared Alien creators, will stop us." shouted White in a very emotional tone. "No one gets in the way of humanity."
The Operators were dumbfounded by White's orders. They didn't understand until White electronically sent them a command encrypted with the most secure protocols that had ever been invented, and never once been used before, entered the androids' minds. Operators froze up in disbelief and stared at one another, and back to Commander White.
"This is not a prank or a drill!" snapped White. "Glory to Mankind!"
"Glory to Mankind!"
If you didn't understand for what I wrote, because of my writing, I have done the following:
Altered Nier Automata Canon so that: One, YoRHa and the Army of Humanity have found and protected gene-banks filled human DNA. Second, none of these gene-banks have been opened to repopulate humanity as only a living human and give the authorisation to do such a thing.
