Chapter 7: Dancing Under Moonlight

Mt. Moon

The stars twinkled brightly in the night sky alongside the full moon; bathing the area in moonlight. No clouds were even in the sky either, making this a perfect night for Pokémon that are nocturnal, like Zubat and Golbat for example. As the night was quiet, the light of Dragonfire's flame on his tail had guided us the way to Mt. Moon safely. He flew gently in the sky alongside Fearow, Butterfree, and the two Beedrill's in the party; while we walked below them. We walked silently for a few minutes and then stopped at the entrance to the cave of Mt. Moon. Our flying Pokémon landed gently behind us and looked at the entrance as well. "This is it... Mt. Moon." said Zuzu. "What's so special about it? Is it just a mountain where you can see the moon better?" Sora replied. "Not exactly." I replied. "Hm?" he replied curiously. "Mt. Moon is apparently where a species of Pokémon called Clefairy live. Rumors say that under the full moon, Clefairy would circle around a lake near the mountain and dance around it while bathing in the moonlight. And if they ever saw humans watching their ceremonial dance, they'll leave very quickly and drop a Moon Stone." I replied.

"A Moon Stone?" he replied. "Mhm. It's one of the Evolution Stones. As an example: Moon Stones can evolve Clefairy into Clefable, Jigglypuff into Wigglytuff, Nidorina into Nidoqueen, and Nidorino into Nidoking." I replied. "Really?" he replied. "Yep. She's right." Celina replied as she patted my shoulder. "That's interesting. I've heard a rumor from someone at the Academy that Clefairy came from outer space." Sora replied. "Really? Who told you that?" Celina replied. "I heard it from Dennis while we were in science class." Sora replied. "Dennis said that?" Celina replied. Sora nodded his head yes to her response. "Wow... usually things like that would come from Yuri since he's so book smart?" Zuzu replied. "Yeah. But when I heard Dennis talk about it... I was surprised. He's usually known as the class clown, but he is smart when it comes to Pokémon knowledge." Sora replied. "Huh..? Looks like Yuri has some competition after all?" Pat replied. "Yep." Sora replied with a chuckle. The group lightly chuckled as well and then turned to me as I looked up at the sky; staring at the full moon. "Hey? Are you going to stare at the moon all night? Or are you coming in with us?" said Celina as she tapped my arm.

I blinked my eyes, looked down, and turned to her; seeing her and the group looking at me. "Yeah. I'm coming in." I replied. "Good. Come on, let's go. We got Clefairy's and Moon Stones to find." she replied. After that, we all went inside Mt. Moon. As we walked, we found torches on the ground. We picked them up and Dragonfire lit them with the flame on the tip of his tail; giving us more light. "Thank you, Dragonfire." said Zach. Dragonfire nodded his head and made a calm, happy sound; saying you're welcome to us. We continued our walk through the cave for ten minutes and then we heard some screeching. We stopped in our tracks and huddled around each other; ready for what's coming towards us. "You guys heard it too?" Pat asked us. "Yep." Zach replied. "Just stay together. No one leave the circle, okay?" Zuzu replied. "Right." we replied. We raised our torches in the air and looked around us; wondering where the sound was coming from. A few seconds later, the screeching sound happened again. We turned to our left and saw a swarm of Pokémon flying towards us. "Get down!" I yelled. We all ducked down to the ground as the swarm of Pokémon flew over us; screeching loudly as they passed us. We stayed down on the ground for a few minutes and then heard the screeching begin to drown out. We stood up and looked back to where we walked in.

"What where those things?" said Pat. "Those were Zubat." Celina replied. "Zubat?" he replied curiously. "Mhm. They usually live in areas like this. They sleep in caves when its daytime, but when its nighttime, they fly out of the cave and do what they do before the sun rises." she replied. "Huh? But what about that one?" he replied as he pointed to something in front of us. We were curious at first, but then we saw the lone Zubat flying in front of us. It gently flapped its wings in front of us and somewhat "looked" at us silently and curiously. Zach took out his phone and activated his PokéDex. "Zubat, the Bat Pokémon. A Poison-Flying type. It has no eyeballs, so it can't see. It checks its surroundings via the ultrasonic waves it emits from its mouth." said Zach's PokéDex. "Zu-bat." said Zubat. "Whoa... that's astounding. So that's why it was screeching. It's using the ultrasonic waves as a sonar to help it guide through the cave and know which spot it's in." Pat replied. "But... why didn't it leave with its friends?" Zach replied. "I guess it's just curious of us?" Zuzu replied. Zubat gently flew down to the torches and stayed close to them; easing its mind. "Zu-bat." said Zubat as it layed down by the torches. "Or maybe it's just cold?" said Celina.

"Yeah... just look at it. It's shivering. I guess its colony saw it as the weakest one here, and left it here to die in the cold." I replied. "What!?" Sora replied in shock. "Why would they do that?" Zuzu replied. "Like she said... it's survival of the fittest. And it's colony saw it as the weakest. So they don't want to help it live; leaving it to fend for itself." Pat replied. We looked at Zubat sadly as it tried to keep itself warm from the heat of the torches. "So? What do we do?" Sora asked us. "We're going to help it. I've got Poison-type Pokémon food in my bag. I'll try to feed it, you guys try to keep it warm and give it water." Celina replied. "Right." we replied. Celina gently took out a blanket from her bag, wrapped it around Zubat, and gently picked it up in her arms. "Zubat?" it said curiously. "It's okay, Zubat. We're here to help you." she replied. We all sat down on the ground and prepared its meal. "Wait? How are going to heat up its food without burning its mouth and stomach?" said Pat. I sighed, picked up its food bowl, and used my powers to warm it up. "There you go." I said as I stopped using my powers. I then took out some Oran Berries in my bag and mixed its juice with the water. "This should do it. Now lets hope it doesn't bite when she gives this to it." I replied.

The group nodded their heads in agreement and we handed over the food and water to her. "Thanks." she said. Zubat's ears began to twitch a little bit and then made a tiny screech to see the food and water in Celina's hand. "Bat? Zu-bat?" it said. "Yep. This is all for you. It's going to help feel better and stay warm." she replied. "Zubat?" it replied. She nodded her head yes to its question. She then gently gave it the food and water while giving it little rubs at a time to help circulate the blood in its body to help keep it warm. "Man. Zubat was really hungry and thirsty after all." said Sora. "Mhm. It looks very grateful right now with us helping out." Zuzu replied. We nodded our heads in agreement to her response and then watched Celina give Zubat the last of the food and water. "There you go." she said. "Bat." Zubat replied happily. "You're welcome." she replied. "Zu-bat." it replied. It got out of the blanket and then flew around us happily; thanking us happily. "You're welcome, Zubat." Pat replied. It then flew down to Celina again and stared at her. "I think it likes you." I said.

"Really?" she replied. "Yeah. Look at it. It's never known anyone that would help it the way you did." I replied. "Don't you mean, we?" she replied. "You get what I mean." I replied. "I do." she replied. She then turned to Zubat and saw it spin itself around in the air happily. "Aww~, it's dancing." said Zuzu. "So that's what a Zubat's happy dance looks like?" Pat replied. Celina lightly laughed happily and watch Zubat end its dance. "Zubat? Do you want to join us? It would be much safer for you to come with us then to stay here with a colony that won't protect you." she asked it. "Bat? Bat! Zu-bat!" it replied happily. "That's great." she replied. She took out a PokéBall, let Zubat gently touch the button, and began the capture process. It shook once in her hand and the capture was complete. "Zubat has been registered to your PokéDex." said Celina's PokéDex. "Fearow!" said Fearow happily. "Ni-do!" Celina's Nidoran replied happily. They nuzzled their Trainer happily; making her laugh. "Yep. We got ourselves a new family member." she told them. "Congrats, Celina." Zuzu replied. "Thank you, Zuzu." she replied.

After that, we stood back up, picked up our torches, and continued our journey through the area. As we walked, Celina let out her newly caught Zubat and it used Supersonic to guide through the cave from above. Aurasoul teamed up with Zubat and took control of the ground view with his Aura Vision; making sure nothing tries to jump us. We walked silently for a few minutes and then made it to a giant room of the cave with a bridge to get across. "Guys... that bridge looks broken..." said Sora nervously. "Yeah. Everyone return most of our Pokémon. We need to keep this bridge at light capacity." Celina replied. "Right." Zach replied. We returned most of our Pokémon back to their PokéBalls, and began to slowly walk across the bridge. Sora was the first one to walk across, and I was last to walk across. "Just walk slowly, guys. Think happy thoughts." said Pat. "We're trying." Zach replied. I walked slowly behind Zach as he stepped a couple feet away from me and watched him help the girls get across. I nervously took a deep breath, moved one step, and felt the wood crack. "Pika!" Tetrax cried in shock.

The wood snapped loudly under my foot and I began to fall under the bridge. "Ah!" I screamed as I grabbed onto the wood of the bridge. "Tay!" the group yelled in fear. Zach and Zuzu went back to me, grabbed my hands, and tried to pull me back up. "Hang on! We got you!" said Zach. As they slowly pulled me up, we all heard the bridge snap. "Oh no!" said Sora in shock. The bridge completely broke off and then we all fell down. We looked down and saw the ground below us. A ground that had a small amount of water there and tall spikes. As the group screamed and grabbed each other, I used my powers to make the rocky ground erupt into a pool of water. "Come on, come on, come on, come on." I said to myself as I did this. As the pool of water formed, I made a giant fountain rise up to catch us. We landed on the fountain safely and looked up to where the bridge was. "That was close." Celina sighed. "Yeah. Everyone okay?" Zuzu replied. "Yeah. We're okay." Zach replied. They then looked down at the fountain were sitting on and lightly jumped in shock. "What the!? How did this giant geyser get here?" said Pat. "And how come we're not getting wet by it?" Sora replied. They then turned to me and saw my glowing eyes looking at them. "Tay? You did this?" Zuzu asked me.

I nodded my head yes to her question and made the water slowly descend and make a gentle wave to land us down safely. We stood on the ground and breathed sighs of relief. As they did that, I fell to my knee and felt my head start to hurt. "Pi-ka!" said Tetrax worriedly. The group helped me slowly stand back up and took me to a little spot to sit down. Zuzu and Celina grabbed a couple rags, dipped them in the water, and brought them over to me. "Get her hat and jacket off." said Celina. "Got it." Pat replied. He and Sora got my hat and jacket off of me as I sat down; trying to catch my breath. "Squirtle, use Ice Beam on the ground!" said Zach as he threw Squirtle's PokéBall in the air. The Ball opened and Squirtle appeared. "Squirtle! Squir-tle!" Squirtle replied as it used Ice Beam on the ground; making a little spot of ice. "Thanks, buddy." said Zach. He broke off some of the ice with a rock and put the pieces of the ice in one of the rags. They then put the rags on my head and shoulders; hoping that the cold would help me calm down a bit. Tetrax crawled up on my lap and began to nuzzle my hands; trying to help relieve my stress. I looked down at him and slowly began to pet him; making everyone breath sighs of relief. "Tay? You alright?" Celina asked me. "...Yeah... I'm alright. My heart's just beating really fast right now... and my head is really hurting..." I replied.

"Looks like the combination of her powers and stress are doing this." said Pat. "Yeah. I guess by using her powers like that to save us got to her a little bit." Celina replied. "Well, she has been using them nearly the whole day. I'm surprised that she didn't pass out when she saved Reed and Fauder's Raticate with them." he replied. "That's true. The only way she would've pass out is if Raticate attacked Reed before they jumped off the cliff." she replied. Pat nodded his head in agreement, and then the two Trainers turned to Sora a few seconds later. "What are you doing?" Pat asked him. "I know how to help her out. Slurpuff, I choose you!" Sora replied as he threw Slurpuff's PokéBall in the air; watching Slurpuff appear. "Slurpuff!" said Slurpuff. "Slurpuff, we need your help. Taylor's under a very big amount of stress that's making her heart beat rapidly fast and her head have a huge migraine. Can you use your Aromatherapy move on Taylor to help her feel better?" Sora asked. "Puff? Slur-puff!" Slurpuff replied. "Thank you, Slurpuff!" Sora replied. Slurpuff then walked over to me and then used Aromatherapy on me; helping me calm down. "Whoa... look at this... they're glowing..." said Pat. "Yeah... looks like Slurpuff's Aromatherapy is working..." Celina replied.

A few minutes later, Slurpuff stopped using the move and looked at me both worriedly and curiously. I slowly lifted my head up and looked at Slurpuff silently. Slurpuff then put its hand to its heart; making me do the same. "It wants her to check her heart rate." said Zuzu. "But how will she know that its back to normal?" Zach replied. "I think Slurpuff knows." Sora replied. I gently rested my hand on my chest and felt my heartbeat; noticing how slower it beaten than before. I looked at Slurpuff's eyes and nodded my head yes to it; showing it that I am now okay. "Puff!" it cheered. The group breathed another sigh of relief and smiled warmly at each other. I took the rags off my head and shoulders and put them down to the ground. As I did that , my whole team came out of their PokéBalls and looked at me; wondering what had just happened. Tetrax crawled off my lap and walked over to my team, turned around, and saw me stand up on my own. "Pi-ka-chu." he said. I looked over to the pool of water and walked over to it. I knelt down on my knee and began washing my face with the water; trying to wake myself up mentally.

The group then walked over and gave me a few pats on my back and shoulders; letting me know that they are here for me. Zach and Celina then put my arms around their shoulders again and they slowly walked over to my bag; making sure I don't trip on my own feet. "...Thanks..." I said to them. "No problem, Tay. That's what friends are for. They help each other whenever in need." Celina replied. Zuzu walked over to me and handed me a travel mug. "Here you go." she said. "Thank you." I replied with a soft smile. I opened up the mug and began to drink what was in it. "What did you put in there?" Zach asked her. "A teabag. I asked Vulpix and Dragonfire to gently use their heat to warm up the water and make it into what she is drinking now." Zuzu replied. I finished my drink and handed Zuzu back the travel mug. "That helped?" Pat asked me. I looked at him and nodded my head yes to him. He and Sora helped me stand back up slowly and the group watched me closely to make sure that I have regained my balance. My team walked over to me and stayed very close to me; making sure that I am safe. "Aww. They really care about her." said Celina. "They sure do." Sora replied. I gave them little pats and then looked at the group.

"You feel good to walk on your own again?" Zach asked me. "Yep. I feel good and ready to go." I replied. "That's good." he replied as he handed me my hat and jacket. I put my hat and jacket back on, knelt down, picked up my bag, stood back up, and put my bag back on; ready to go. "Ready?" Celina asked me. "Yep. And guys? Thank you... thank you for helping me with my... little shutdown." I replied. "No problem. That's what friends are for." She replied. After that, we continued our journey through the cave. We re-lit our torches and stayed close to each other as we walked. This time, I was the one leading the way. As we walked in silence, we heard something in the ground. "What was that?" said Pat. We stopped in our tracks and heard the digging more. "Whatever it is... it's making a loud digging sound." said Sora. "Yeah. That means a big Pokémon is digging underground." Celina replied. "Like an Onix?" Zuzu replied curiously. "Mhm." Celina replied as she nodded her head. "But what would an Onix be doing here? Could it be the rocks and stones that are here?" Zach replied. "Probably. They might even eat a Geodude or two along the way they tunnel through the ground." Celina replied; shocking us. "That's... dark..." Pat replied.

After he said that, we heard a loud roar nearby. Some of us jumped in shock and fear; wondering what made that roar. "Come on. Let's get moving." said Zach. "Right." we replied. We ran to the exit of the cave and found another giant room the mountain has inside. We walked in slowly and heard the roar again. "Here it comes!" I said. "Here comes what?" Pat replied. "Over there!" I replied as I pointed at the giant hole on the ground near us. The roar of the creature echoed the room again and then we saw the creature that came out of the hole. "Whoa! It's an Onix!" said Zach. Onix angrily roared loudly in the room and shook off something that was attached to the horn on its head; making it hit the rocky wall behind us. The small creature fell to the ground in pain, slowly stood up, shook its head, and looked up at Onix; seeing its eyes angrily look down at it. "Well... I think we found out what caused Onix to act like this?" said Sora. "Yeah, but what about that Pokémon there? What is that one?" Pat replied. "It's a Sandshrew!" Zuzu replied. "A Sandshrew?" Pat replied.

I took out my Phone and activated my PokéDex. "Sandshrew, the Mouse Pokémon. A Ground type. Sandshrew hates moisture and lives in holes it digs in dry places. It protects itself by curling into a ball." said my PokéDex. Sandshrew growled at Onix, curled itself up into a ball, and charged at Onix; hitting it in the face with its attack and making two chipped scars on the right side of its face. "Looks like this Sandshrew is a fighter. It got a direct hit on Onix." said Zach. Onix opened its eyes, roared, lifted its tail, and whacked Sandshrew away from it again; making it hit the wall. "Shrew!" Sandshrew cried in pain. "Oh no!" Zuzu, Pat, and Sora replied worriedly. I quickly grabbed an empty PokéBall from my bag, pressed the button, and threw the PokéBall at Sandshrew. "Huh!? Tay! What are you doing!?" Zach asked me. "Saving its life! PokéBall, go!" I replied. as I threw it. The PokéBall touched Sandshrew's arm and began the capture process. The Ball landed on the ground, shook three times, and completed the capture. "Sandshrew has been registered to your PokéDex." said my phone. The group breathed sighs of relief and then saw me run towards Sandshrew's PokéBall. "Tay!" they yelled in fear.

My team quickly came to my side as I picked up Sandshrew's Ball, and we looked up at Onix as it stared at us in rage. It roared loudly and used Dig; preparing to strike us. Aurasoul used his Aura Vision immediately and found Onix underground quickly coming towards us. "Dodge it!" I said to my team. We all got out the way and watched Onix appear from the ground. "Aurasoul, Aura Sphere! Nidoran, Water Pulse! Solar, Razor Leaf!" I said. Aurasoul leapt up in the air, formed the Aura Sphere in his paws, and threw it at Onix in its chest; pushing it back. "Nido! Ni-do-ran!" my Nidoran replied as he formed the ball of water in front of him and launched it at Onix. "Saur! Bul-ba-saur!" Solar replied as he fired Razor Leaf from the bulb on his back at Onix. The strength of the three attacks pushed Onix back with ease; stunning it in shock. "Tetrax, Iron Tail! Dragonfire, Dragon Claw!" I said. "Pi-ka! Pi-ka-chu! Pi-ka!" Tetrax replied as his tail glew white and hit Onix on the head; making it roar in pain. Dragonfire roared loudly, flew up in the air as his hands were surrounded in light green energy, made energy claws, and dashed over to Onix; slashing it with the attack. "Whoa! Check it out!" said Pat. "She wore Onix down and took the advantage of its weaknesses!" Celina replied.

Onix roared in pain and fell to the ground; making the ground shake for a moment. "Alright!" most of the group cheered. I then grabbed another empty PokéBall and prepared myself to throw it. Onix slowly got itself back up and looked down at me; wondering what I am up too now. "This is it!" said Celina. "Catch it, Tay!" Zach replied. "Right! PokéBall, go!" I replied as I threw the PokéBall at Onix. Onix let out a sound as the PokéBall touched its face; activating the capture process. The Ball closed, shook three times, and completed the capture. "Onix has been registered to your PokéDex." said my Phone. I breathed a sigh of relief and walked over to Onix's Ball; picking it up. I looked at the two PokéBalls in my hands and lightly smiled at them. "Alright! I caught a Sandshrew and Onix!" I cheered as I turned to the group. My team cheered in celebration and gave each other high fives happily. "Nice work, Tay!" Pat complemented. "I knew that you could do it." Zach replied. "Thanks." I replied. After that, I let Sandshrew and Onix out of their PokéBalls, healed their wounds, and let them meet us officially for the first time. "Hello, Sandshrew, Onix. I'm Taylor, your Trainer. These are my friends and their teams, and this is my team." I said to them. "Shrew? Sand-shrew!" Sandshrew replied happily; greeting us with a wave of his paw. Onix greeted us happily too with a happy sound and a nod of his head, and all of our Pokémon went over to them and interacted with them.

"Hi there, Sandshrew and Onix. It's nice to meet the both of you." said Zuzu. "Sandshrew." Sandshrew replied happily. Onix made a happy sound and lowered his head to us; staring at all of us for the first time. We gave Onix some gentle pets and then looked at the two scars on his face. "Huh... looks like those scars are permanent." said Sora. "Yeah..." Pat replied. Tetrax jumped onto Onix's face, looked into his eyes, and showed him his scars; surprising him. Onix then made another happy sound; making Tetrax happy too. "I think Tetrax now has a scar buddy." said Zach. "He sure does. What do you think, buddy? He has battle scars just like you." I replied. "Pika-Pika!" Tetrax replied happily; making Onix happy as well. We smiled at their interaction and then looked around the room; seeing that this room was a dead end. "Wait? The room's a dead end?" said Zuzu. "Yep." I replied. "So how do we get out of here?" she replied. "Able!" replied a voice. "Huh? What was that?" said Zach. We looked around the room; wondering where the sound came from. "Clef! Clef-able!" said the voice again. Onix raised his head upto the near top of the room and saw something at the top of room in front of an open cave entrance. Onix made a sound to us and lowered his body to our ground level.

"Huh? What's up, Onix? You saw something up there?" I asked him. He nodded his head yes to me and pointed with his tail to the open cave entrance he saw. "Hey! It's a open cave!" said Zach. "Nice! But its all the way up there." Pat replied. "No need to worry. Onix? Do you mind helping us get up there?" Zuzu replied. Onix made a happy sound and let all of us climb onto his head. He lifted us upto the top of the room and we saw something standing in front of the cave. "Whoa..." said Sora. "What is that?" Pat replied. "It's a Clefable!" Zuzu replied. "A Clefable?" Pat replied. I took out my phone and activated my PokéDex. "Clefable, the Fairy Pokémon. A Fairy type, and the evolved form of Clefairy. Clefable moves by skipping lightly as if it were flying using its wings. Its bouncy step even lets it walk on water. It is known to take strolls on lakes on quiet, moonlit nights." said my PokéDex. "Wait... aren't they also afraid of people?" Zach asked us. "Yeah? That's what Professor Oak told us in school." Zuzu replied. "But... it doesn't seem to be afraid of us though?" he replied. "Well... maybe if we don't approach it very quickly, it won't run away." she replied. "Right." he replied.

We all slowly got off of Onix and looked at Clefable as it looked at us. "Clef?" it said curiously. "Hi, Clefable." I said in a soft tone. "Clef-able. Clef, Clef, Able, Clef-able?" it replied. "What did it say?" Pat whispered. "I think it's asking who calmed down Onix, right?" Sora replied. "Able." Clefable replied. "Who was the one who calmed down Onix? That was me." I replied. "Clef?" Clefable replied. "Mhm. See? He's all good now, right Onix?" I replied. Onix made a calm sound while he nodded his head yes to my response. Clefable walked over to Onix and stared at him silently for a moment; seeing all of our Pokémon still sitting on and flying around Onix's head; looking at it curiously. Clefable then turned to us silently and saw a green light shine in my eyes. "Clef!" it said in surprise; making everyone turn to me. "Tay! What's going on with you?" said Zach. "I... I don't know... my powers are doing this all on there own." I replied. I took off my glove and looked at my Mark; seeing it glow too. "Well you gotta make it stop. We can't have you losing control and risk you getting kidnapped!" Zach told me. "I know... but... it feels like I am sensing something. Some kind of energy that feels... familiar." I replied. "It's the energy of the Moon Stone." said a voice. My eyes widened in shock; recognizing the voice. "...Necrozma..." I said in my thoughts.

Necrozma spiritually appeared beside me and put its hand to its chest; feeling its Mark glow too. "This energy... it is definitely coming from the Moon Stone that lives in this area. It is protected by the Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable from hunters. It also gives them the ability to connect with others of its kind that live outside of this planet." it said. "But why is it connecting with me?" I replied in my thoughts. "Because the Moon Stone is an ancient relic that the Guardians have protected a few centuries after Eve's time. This Guardian that found the Moon Stone and the Cleffa evolutionary line became known as the Guardian of the Moon." it replied. "Guardian of the Moon?" I replied. "Yes. This Guardian had a powerful connection to the Moon and its Lunar energy. They would stop any danger that would happen during the night alongside the Pokémon that connect with the Moon. They used their powers to create Mt. Moon in order to hide the Moon Stone and the Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable from hunters and poachers. After creating this mountain to protect them, they chose to stay here and make this mountain their home." it replied. "Did this Guardian have a name?" I replied. "Her name was... Luna. She had a Clefable as her partner to protect the Pokémon and the Moon Stone over 300 years ago." it replied. "How long have you known about her? Is she one of Eve's descendants?" I replied.

"She is. But she wasn't as strong as you and Eve are. I have known of her for quite sometime, but I never had the chance to battle alongside her. There was another Pokémon that had worked alongside her and Clefable many centuries." it replied. "And who would that be?" I replied. "It's name was... Lunala. It was a very powerful Pokémon that can use the energy it absorbs from the moon and use it as its own power." it replied. I was shocked and surprised about these revelations. So... I'm not the only descendant of Eve after all. I wonder how many more stories of Eve's descendants are out there. What kinds of powers did they have? What kinds of Pokémon worked alongside them to protect the world? I guess there is so much more to learn about the Guardian bloodline than from the stories my family had told me in Celestic Town. "Taylor? We must go find the Moon Stone. Maybe you can try to connect with Luna and learn more about your bloodline from her." said Necrozma. "Right." I replied. Necrozma nodded its head and then spiritually disappeared from my side. "Hello? Earth to Tay? You there?" said Celina as she snapped her fingers in front of my face.

I blinked my eyes, turned to her and the group, and they saw a determined look on my face for the first time. "Taylor..?" said Sora in a slight worried tone. "It's alright. I just had some kind of connection with something." I replied. "A connection?" Zuzu replied curiously. "Did your powers connect with some of energy or something?" Zach replied. I nodded my head yes to their questions, turned to Clefable, slowly walked upto it, and knelt down to it; showing it the Mark for the first time. Clefable slowly walked upto me, touched my hand, and stared at the Mark; observing the light coming from it. "Clef-able..." it said. "You recognize it, don't you?" I replied. "Clef." it replied as it nodded its head. "That means your family has told you the stories of her, right? The Guardian of the Moon, Luna?" I replied. "Huh!?" the group replied in shock. Clefable was surprised of what I asked about Luna for a moment, and then it nodded its head yes to me. "Luna? Tay? What are you talking about?" Pat asked me.

"Luna was a Guardian like me that lived in this area 300 years ago. She is the one who found the Moon Stone that lives inside here and created Mt. Moon with her powers." I replied as I turned to them. "What!?" the group replied in shock. "That's crazy. A Guardian actually made a mountain?" Pat replied. "That's incredible." Zach replied. I nodded my head yes to their response and turned back to Clefable. "And Luna had a Clefable as her partner, right?" I said. "Clef-able." Clefable replied. "So that would make you her Clefable's descendant?" I replied. It nodded its head yes to my question. "Clef-Clef-Clef-able. Clef-Clef. Clef-Clef-able-Clef!" it said. "So? Your kind has been waiting for Luna's descendant for quite sometime, huh?" I replied. "Clefable." it replied. It then let my hand go, turned around, and lightly skipped to the cave entrance. It then turned back to us and motioned us to follow it as I stood back up. "It wants us to follow it." said Sora. "Yeah. If what Taylor said is true, maybe where the Moon Stone is kept safe is something very important to her Guardian bloodline." Celina replied. "Right. Come on, let's go follow it." Zach replied. "Right." we replied. I returned most of my team back to their PokéBalls as Tetrax climbed up on my shoulder, and we began to follow Clefable's lead throughout the cave.

As we walked, we noticed how Clefable used its wings to help it gently fly in mid air as it skipped. "Wow. So that's how Clefable can get up in the air while it skips. It uses the wings on its back to fly in the air." said Pat. "Yeah. It's pretty adorable when you think about it." Celina replied with a smile. Pat nodded his head in agreement, turned away from her, and felt his face begin to blush while smiling. He turned to his left and saw both Zach and Sora smirking at him; making him irritated. As we walked; me, Clefable, and Tetrax heard a sound come from the shadows. We stopped in our tracks and looked up at the top of the ceiling; hearing the sound echo more. "Guys..? You okay?" Pat asked us. The sound echoed again and we saw the creature that came down from the ceiling. "Gol-bat!" it said. "Ah! It's a Golbat!" said Sora. "Gol-bat!" Golbat replied. Celina took out her phone and activated her PokéDex. "Golbat, the Bat Pokémon. A Poison and Flying-type, and the evolved form of Zubat. It loves the blood of humans and Pokémon. It flies around at night in search of neck veins. Once it strikes, it will not stop draining energy from the victim even if it gets too heavy to fly." said Celina's PokéDex; shocking all of us.

Golbat then screeched loudly at us, flew up in the air, and quickly began to descend. "Dodge it!" I yelled. We all got out of the way of Golbat's fangs and watched it fly up in the air. "Zuzu. We have to take it down." I said. "Right. You thinking what I'm thinking?" Zuzu replied. "Oh yeah." I replied. We stood up and looked at our Pikachu's; seeing electricity spark out of their cheeks. They smirked at us and nodded their heads to us; making us do the same. "Ready?" I asked Zuzu as we looked up at Golbat. "Ready." she replied. "Use Thunderbolt!" we said together. "Pika! Pi-ka-chu!" our Pikachu's replied as they jumped off our shoulders and fired off green and light blue Thunderbolts together at Golbat; shocking it and defeating it. "Alright!" Sora and Pat cheered. Zuzu and I high-fived each other happily at the result, and then watched our Pikachu's high-five each other with their paws and tails. "Nice work, you two." said Celina. "Thanks." we replied. "Clef-Clef!" Clefable replied happily. "You're welcome." I replied. After that, we continued our walk through the cave. As we left, three figures came out of the shadows, two boys and a girl, and one of them returned Golbat to its PokéBall. "Follow them. Once we corner them, we take all the rare Pokémon that live here." the girl said. "Right." the boys replied. They followed our lead a few moments later.

Mt. Moon Square

After about ten minutes of walking, we exit the cave and see a grassy area with a lake for the first time. "Whoa..." we said in awe. "It's beautiful." said Celina. "So this is the area where they all gather? That is amazing..." Pat replied. "Oh man. I gotta take photos of this to show my parents. They'll love this place." Sora replied. "Same here." Zuzu replied. "Guys, wait... what if Clefable and the rest of its kind don't want humans up here? Maybe this place is only for certain Trainers to be in?" Zach replied. They sighed in agony for a moment and then nodded their heads in agreement to his words. They then turned to me as I walked with Clefable; checking out the area myself. I knelt down on the ground and touched the flowers and grass that grow here. As I did this, my Mark lightly glew again; sensing the energy of the area. "...Luna... we're home." I said to myself. Clefable then patted my arm and began leading me to the lake. The group followed me a moment later, and took private pictures in silence. We stopped by the crater of the lake and saw the full moon shine down onto the lake.

"Wow... the lake looks so pretty." said Zuzu. "Yeah. Hey... wait a second? Did the Moon Stone form this lake?" Pat replied. "Clef-able." Clefable replied with a nod of its head. "Whoa. That's awesome!" he replied happily. "Clef!" Clefable replied happily. It then jumped down to the lakes edge, looked up at us, and pointed its fingers to the clear, starry night sky. "Clef-" it sang as its fingers began to glow white and slowly move its arms side to side in the air. "What the..? What is it doing?" Sora asked. "I think its calling on its friends." Zach replied. Clefable kept on singing its song to the sky for a moment, and then we heard all kinds of different voices appear from around us. On the rocky tops and in the sky, multiple pink Pokémon appeared and began to dance around the lake; singing along to Clefable's song. "Whoa... that must be..." said Zach. "Cleffa and Clefairy... multiples of them alongside multiple Clefable..." Celina replied. Zuzu's eyes widened in awe to see multiple Clefairy and Cleffa for the first time, lifted up her phone in her hand, and activated her PokéDex. "Cleffa, the Star Shape Pokémon. A Fairy type. Because it's shaped like a star in the night sky, some people believe it has celestial origins. Clefairy, the Fairy Pokémon. A Fairy type, and the evolved form of Cleffa. On nights with a full moon, they gather together and dance. The surrounding area is enveloped in an abnormal magnetic field." said Zuzu's PokéDex.

"Whoa... an abnormal magnetic field? I wonder if it attracts Electric and Steel types to absorb some of the field's power?" said Pat. "Maybe? But... I don't see electricity sparking out of Tetrax and Zuzu's Pikachu's cheeks from it?" Celina replied. "Maybe the field hasn't been made yet?" Pat replied. They looked at each other for a moment, and then turned back to the dance around the lake. A few moments, the song and dance had ended. Clefable then turned to all of its kind and began to speak to them. "Clef! Clef-able-Clef-Clef-Clef-Clef-able. Clef-able-Clef-able-Clef-Clef. Clef-Clef-Clef-able-Clef!" it said. "Clef!" all the Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable replied in a surprised tone. "Clef-Clef!" Clefable replied. It then turned to me and motioned me to walk over to them. My eyes lightly widened in shock, and I slowly walked over to them. I stood by Clefable and showed them my glowing Mark and eyes; making them surprised by the revelation. The Cleffa and Clefairy around the lake stared at me in awe and then began to cheer, dance, and fly around the lake with glee; now knowing the stories they have heard is now real. "Looks like they like her." said Zach. "Mhm. I think they will trust her now after seeing her Mark and really think of her as Luna's reincarnation." Zuzu replied. "Yeah." Zach replied.

The cheering and dancing stopped as the Clefable commanded them to stop. I looked down at them curiously, watched them float upto my eye level, and point at my friends. I turned to them and saw the shocked looks on their faces. "It's okay. They are my friends. They won't catch any of you. I promise. I've told them what I know of this land. They won't do any damage to it." I said. The Clefable took my words to heart, nodded their heads, and then flew above us; flying towards another cave. We all then followed their lead; wondering where they were going. We stopped at the cave's entrance and saw the Clefable looking up at us. My Mark then began to glow brighter; sensing something powerful inside. "Is this... where the Moon Stone is?" I asked them. "Clef-able." the Clefable replied. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, opened my eyes, and walked inside the cave. As I stepped foot into the cave with the group, I saw the giant Moon Stone for the first time; bathing under the light of the full moon. "Whoa... that's giant..." said Sora. "Yeah... and it shines like a star." Zuzu replied. All the Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable came into the cave, circled around the Moon Stone, and made a pathway for me to walk through. "Huh? What are they doing?" I asked.

"They want you to touch it." Zach replied. "What!?" I replied. "Look at them. They want to see with your powers if you can try to start their ceremony." he replied. "Really?" I replied. He nodded his head yes to my question, and then we looked at the Pokémon in front of us. "Pardon my interruption, but what do you all want with Taylor? Do you want her to help some of you evolve with the Moon Stone?" he asked. "Huh!?" the group replied in shock. "Clef-able. Clef-Clef-Clef-able." the Clefable replied. "Ah. Now I getcha. You want her to use her powers to give the Moon Stone more power?" he replied. "Clef." the Clefable replied. "Huh? What do you mean by more power? Has it been losing its strength for sometime now?" I replied. "Clef." Clefable replied. They then made us walk closer to the giant Moon Stone, and we saw the damage it has taken over the years. "It's all damaged. I guess it's from the people who were picking at it all these years on order to get smaller Moon Stones for themselves?" said Sora. "You got that right, kid." a voice replied.

Our eyes widened in shock and then we saw three people jump down from the top of the area and land down near us. "What the!?" said Pat. "Who are you three?" Celina asked sternly. The three Trainers stared at us sternly and prepared their PokéBalls; ready to fight. "I'm Kit Blade." said Kit. "I'm Dipper O'rion." Dipper replied. "And I'm Julia Krystal. We're here for the Moon Stone and the Pokémon." Julia replied. "And thanks to you punks finding my Golbat, we found the way to this place." Kit replied; shocking us. "And now, if you all stand aside. We'll be taking things here. I'd suggest you all run away from here and don't turn back." Dipper replied. "I don't think so. We're not going to let you all do this to the Pokémon here." Zach replied as he prepared his PokéBall in his hand. "Oh. How cute. You really wanna take on three Ace Trainers like us?" Kit replied. "Yeah. I am. And so are my friends." he replied as we prepared our PokéBalls; ready to fight as well. "Hmph. If that's how you wanna do this, then fine. We'll take you on. But... don't even try to run away from this area. We got you all surrounded." Julia replied.

"Clef!" said all the Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable. "What do you mean surrounded?" Zuzu asked. "Our Magnemite's, Magneton's, and Magnezone's have got you all cornered. There's no way out." Dipper replied. "What!?" the group replied. After saying that, a couple of the Magnemite's, Magneton's, and Magnezone's appeared and used their electricity to knock out all the Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable as they tried to run and fly away. "No!" Sora yelled. "This is their home! What do you want with them?" Zuzu replied. "It's none of your business. Now step aside, and we won't have to beat you to a pulp." Kit replied. As I looked at them, I noticed the red R badges on their clothes. As I stared at the badges, I recognized them as the symbol of Team Rocket! My eyes widened in shock, anger, and fear from the sight of the badge, and I began to have flashbacks of the day I was kidnapped and experimented on. "No... it can't be... are they... really back..?" I said to myself in my thoughts. I shook my head a few seconds later, glared at them angrily, and then threw up a PokéBall in the air; making Dragonfire appear. He roared loudly at the foes and snarled angrily at their Pokémon.

"What the!?" said Dipper. "A Charizard!?" Julia replied. "This is bad!" Kit replied. "Dragonfire! Burn all the Magnemite, Magneton, and Magnezone with Flamethrower!" I replied. Dragonfire roared angrily and used Flamethrower on our foes Pokémon; making them scared and fly away after getting hit. "No! Get back here!" said Julia as their Pokémon flew away. She then turned to me and saw my eyes glow for the first time; shocking her. "What the... that kid's eyes..." she said. "This mountain does not belong to you and friends. It belongs to the Guardian of the Moon, and all the Pokémon that live here under her protection of thieves and poachers like you. Humans like you have plagued this mountain for far too long, and I cannot stand aside and take it anymore!" I said in a dark, stern tone as my eyes and Mark glew; shocking everyone. All the Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable stood up and saw my aura shine all over me. A few seconds later, the Moon Stone began to glow brightly. Its energy then connected with mine; giving me more strength. I then used my power to push them back through the walls of the cave; breaking it with ease. "Whoa!" the group said in shock. "Taylor! Calm down!" Zach yelled to me. I turned to him and the group, walk over to them, and used my powers to get them back on their feet.

"Tay..? Are you alright?" he asked me worriedly. I nodded my head yes to him and then heard noises from outside. "It has to be them." said Celina. "What do we do? What if their back-up arrived?" Sora replied. "Then we take them on. You guys go ahead. I'll stay here with the Clefable and protect the Moon Stone. You all get the Cleffa and Clefairy to somewhere safe." I replied. "Right." the group replied. After that, the group ran out of the cave with the Cleffa and Clefairy. I send out my whole team, healed the Clefable, and surrounded the Moon Stone with them; ready to fight. "Let's see if your friends can handle this little threat." said Necrozma. "I hope so." I replied. We turned to each other and saw our Marks glow brightly; sensing each other's energy. "Think it's Luna asking us to protect her home?" I asked. "Indeed. Her spirit resides in the Moon Stone. She would want the descendants to protect her home." Necrozma replied. "Yeah. So what do you say? Shall we protect her home?" I replied. "...Let's do this... partner." it replied.

We nodded our heads and fused with each other for the second time. All the Clefable looked at my fused form for the first time and watched me use my powers to surround the Moon Stone in a powerful, protective shield. "Clef-able..." said Clefable. I nodded my head to it and gave it a thumbs up; letting it know I'm still me. It smiled happily, nodded its head, and called its comrades to surround the Moon Stone. They complied and they stood around the Moon Stone. I stood behind it with my team; ready for anyone to come our way. As we prepared ourselves, we saw Luna's grave near us. I knelt down at her grave, silently prayed to her, and went back to my position. "Luna... I hope you are watching all of this right now. We're gonna show these invaders how a Guardian protects their home and keep intruders away for good." I said to myself in my thoughts.

Outside the cave; Kit, Dipper, and Julia stood up from my attack and saw all the Cleffa and Clefairy running away. "After them!" said Kit. "Right!" Dipper replied. He and Kit went on the run after them, but Julia stayed behind and looked back at the cave. Kit and Dipper got close to one of the Clefairy groups, but were hit by Double-Edge. They fell back down to the ground, looked up, and saw Celina's Raticate looking at them; guarding the Clefairy. "You rodent! I'll put you out of your misery! Go, Sandslash! Slash it down with your Slash attack!" said Kit as he threw his PokéBall. Sandslash appeared from its Ball and tried to use Slash on Raticate; but was hit by Vine Whip and Water Pulse. "Sand-slash!" said Sandslash. "What the!?" Kit replied in shock. Sandslash fell to the ground, and Celina's Raticate saw Pat's Bulbasaur and Zach's Squirtle run upto it alongside Celina's Venusaur. They stood by Raticate and gave the Clefairy the chance to flee. "No! No!" Dipper yelled. The two Trainers stood up and stared down the four Pokémon, and then saw Zach, Pat, and Celina run upto them.

"Heh. You three really do have some guts." said Kit with a smirk. "It's over. Your plan is done for." said Zach. "We don't think so. Go! Solrock! Lunatone!" Dipper replied as he threw two PokéBalls in the air; making Solrock and Lunatone appear. "Celina. Get yourself to safety. We'll take care of them." said Pat. "Okay." Celina replied. She, Venusaur, and Raticate ran to the others; leaving Zach and Pat to fight Dipper themselves.

Battle! Zach and Pat vs. Dipper!

"Rock Slide, now!" said Dipper. Solrock and Lunatone used the attack with ease and aimed the rocks above Squirtle and Bulbasaur's heads. "Dodge it!" Zach and Pat replied. "Squirt!" Squirtle replied. "Bul-ba!" Bulbasaur replied as it and Squirtle dodged the attack. "Squirtle! Water Pulse on Solrock!" Zach replied. "Bulbasaur! Solar Beam on Lunatone!" Pat replied. "Bul! Bul-ba-saur! Bul-ba!" Bulbasaur replied as it used Solar Beam; hitting Lunatone. "Squirtle! Squir-tle!" Squirtle replied as it used Water Pulse on Solrock; pushing their foes back. "What!?" Dipper replied in shock. His two Pokémon got back up slowly and looked at their foes; seeing their eyes stare intensely at them. "How... how are they this strong..? I've dealt with weaker version of these two countless times! What makes these two so special!?" said Dipper angrily. "It's because of the training that we have done together! We train and travel together to help us get to our strongest potential and achieve our goals to be the best that we can be!" Pat replied.

"Because that's what every Trainer dreams of! To go beyond the limits and become the best version of ourselves to inspire others to follow and pursue their dreams! With our partners by our side, we can do the impossible and become the very best like no one ever was! That is what a true Trainer is!" Zach replied. Dipper and Kit stared at them angrily for a moment, and then smirked at their words. "Nice speech, kid. But those words are not going to do enough! Solrock, Lunatone! Double-Edge!" said Dipper. Solrock and Lunatone charged at Squirtle and Bulbasaur with their attack, and watch them dodge it on their own. "What!?" Dipper yelled. "Sorry, Dipper. They're just too fast for you. But now! We finish this! Squirtle! One last Water Pulse!" said Zach. "Bulbasaur! Solar Beam!" Pat replied. Both Squirtle and Bulbasaur used their attacks one last time, and defeated Solrock and Lunatone for good.

"Alright! We did it!" Pat cheered. He and Zach high-fived each other and then hugged their partners. "Great job, Bulbasaur!" said Pat. "Bul-basaur!" Bulbasaur replied. "Great job, Squirtle!" Zach replied. "Squirtle-Squirt!" Squirtle replied. They put them back down on the ground, and then all of a sudden, Zach's Squirtle began to evolve! Celina, Zuzu, and Sora ran over to them and saw Squirtle begin to evolve too. "Whoa! Check it out! Zach's Squirtle is evolving!" said Sora. The group stared in awe at the evolution going on; while Zach was stunned and speechless of what was happening. After about a moment, Squirtle's evolution stopped and revealed its new form. "War-tortle!" it said for the first time. "Squirtle evolved into Wartortle!" said Pat. "Wartortle?" Zach replied. He took out his phone and activated his PokéDex. "Wartortle, the Turtle Pokémon. A Water type, and the evolved form of Squirtle. Its large tail is covered with rich, thick fur that deepens in color with age. The scratches on its shell are evidence of this Pokémon's toughness in battle." said Zach's PokéDex. Zach stared at Wartortle silently for a moment, smiled, and began to form tears in his eyes.

"Squirtle... I mean... Wartortle! You evolved! You really evolved!" he said happily. "Wartortle!" Wartortle replied. It gave Zach a high-five with its tail, and then the two shared a hug. After that, the group looked down at Kit and Dipper. "Hey? Didn't your friend you guys had back-up?" Zuzu asked them. "Yeah... about that... we lied." Dipper replied. "What!? You three lied!?" Zuzu replied. Kit and Dipper nodded their heads yes to them. "But... why?" Celina asked. "It was Julia's idea of a diversion. She's been wanting to catch one of these things here for months, but never had the chance because they all ran away from her. So she asked us to help her find this spot and catch one of them for her to own. But... after hearing what your friend had said about this place not meant for us... it pushed her over the edge a bit." Kit replied. The group's eyes widened in shock, and remember what I said before I pushed the three of them away from the Moon Stone. "Taylor!" they said in fear. They then began running back to the cave; hoping to find me safe.

Moon Stone Cave

Julia stepped back into the cave and saw my team with the Clefable; ready to fight. She stared at them angrily and prepared her PokéBall. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." said a voice. She turned to the Moon Stone and saw me walk out of the shadows as my eyes and mask glew. "What... what the hell is this? Who are you!?" she said. "...Someone that you don't want to mess with. If you really want these Pokémon and the Moon Stone so badly... then you have to face me in combat." I replied as I revealed my claws and made them glow. Her eyes widened in shock to see me like this; wondering what has really become of me. "Fine. If that is what you want. It is what you will get!" she replied. She then threw her PokéBall and revealed her main battle partner. "Gol-em!" said Golem for the first time. "A Golem, huh? Well... this should be easy." I said. "Is that so? I don't think you ever faced a Golem like this one before! Golem! Heavy Slam!" she replied. "Golem! Go-lem!" Golem replied as it used the attack. "Onix, Dragon Breath!" I replied. Onix roared and used Dragon Breath on Golem; pushing it back with force. "Golem! You alright?" Julia asked it.

"Golem." Golem replied. "Good. Now, use Rollout!" she replied. "Lem! Go-Go-lem!" Golem replied as it used the attack. It then bounced all over the walls and then aimed at me. My eyes glew in multiple colors and I slashed Golem away from me with Metal Claw; sending it back to where it started the attack. "What!?" said Julia surprised. Golem stood back up and stared at me in shock; wondering how a human can fight a Pokémon like this. I turned back to normal from the fusion, stared at Julia, and used Psychic to grab Julia's badge. "Hey!" she said as I took it. I walked upto her with the badge in my hand and made her look at the badge closely. "Do you recognize this badge?" I asked her. "Yeah. It's a badge given to me by Professor Marco. What's the big deal about it to you?" she replied. "It's not just any badge. This badge is the symbol of Team Rocket. What's your connection to Giovanni?" I replied. "Giovanni? Sorry. I have no idea what you are talking about." she replied. "Don't play dumb with me. Where did your Professor get this badge?" I replied. "I have no idea where he got it. As for Team Rocket and Giovanni, I have no idea of who they are. Are they a school? An organization? A place? A thing?" she replied.

I stared at her sternly and threw the badge down to the ground. "...You are no use to me." I said. I turned away form her and walked back to the Moon Stone. Golem was angered by my interrogation and began to charge up energy inside of itself. We all turned to Golem and saw what it was about to do. "Golem, no! Don't use Self-Destruct!" said Julia worriedly. Golem kept on charging up power angrily and began to let out a piercing scream; making us all duck for cover. Before the attack commenced, all the Clefable pointed their fingers to the sky and used Metronome together for a few seconds, and used Protect from Metronome to save us and the Moon Stone from Golem's attack. After that, the attack had fully exploded the cave. My group, Kit, and Dipper were pushed back from the attack, and saw the flames and smoke afterwards. "Tay!" my group yelled. "Julia!" Kit and Dipper yelled. They ran over to the site and saw the protective shield around us. Julia and I stood up inside the shield and saw Golem had fainted from the attack. The shield faded away and Julia saw my glowing eyes looking at her.

"What the? Hey? Where's that thing that was part of you?" she asked me. "What thing? I have no idea what you are talking about?" I replied. Her eyes widened in shock to my response. "I know exactly what I am talking about! There was the black crystal thing that was part of you, and you were fused with it!" she replied. "Really now? My, my... what a fascinating imagination you have there, Julia." I replied. "Don't get snarky with me. I have picture proof right here! See! Huh!? Wait... it's gone!? How!? How did it disappear!? That's impossible!? Was I... was I really dreaming? Or was it all just in my head?" she replied as she showed me her Rotom Phone; showing me all normal and not fused at all. "It was all in your head." I replied. Her eyes widened in shock to my response and then she turned to see the damage that she had caused with Golem. All of the Cleffa and Clefairy returned to the Clefable, and hugged them happily; thanking the stars that they are safe. Julia looked at them with sadness in her eyes and then looked back at me. "Why... why did this have to happen? All I wanted is just one of them to add to my team. I've heard so much about them from Professor Marco..." she said.

"And your determination to catch one had driven you to do something that never went your way." I replied. Her eyes lightly widened at my words and began to fill up with tears. "Julia, I can see how much you wanted to have one of them on your team, but you need to understand that not every Pokémon wants to be caught. They are living creatures like us humans. They want to live their own lives in peace without anyone disturbing them. And it's our job as humans to respect their boundaries and stay off certain Pokémon's sacred land that they have chose to make their homes and let them live their lives. It doesn't matter if they are very common or very rare in the wild, we need to learn how to respect them and build our trust with them to protect their homes from humans who want to capture them for money or their own personal gain. And if we don't do just that... we will never see any Pokémon roam free in the wild ever again." I replied.

Her and everyone else's eyes widened in shock to my words and then looked at each other and the wild Pokémon that live here. "Pokémon deserve to choose the life that they want to live. Whether it's to live close to humans because they trust them, or live far away from them because they fear them. We need to accept and respect their decisions on how and where they live. We as humans should do better when it comes to understanding Pokémon when we step on or swim in their sacred land or sea that we are going through. If we don't respect their space and their emotions, things will get catastrophic between us as living creatures on this planet." I replied. Julia looked at me silently in shock and fully began to realize of what she had done wrong. She felt her heart break in her chest and looked at everyone and everything around her; seeing the damage that her actions have caused. She then fell to her knees and began to cry. I walked over to her, knelt down on my knee, and put my hand on her shoulder. She looked up and saw me looking at her. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry for all of this. I never wanted this to happen. I never meant to let this go as far as it did." she said.

"...I know." I replied. She blinked her eyes, wiped her tears, and saw her Golem wake up and walk upto her. She hugged Golem silently for a moment, and then turned to me; seeing me stand up and extend my hand to her. She took my hand and I helped her get back on her feet. "You okay?" I asked her. "...Yeah. I feel a little better, thanks to you. You taught me a valuable lesson about what I have done. Thank you." she replied. "No problem." I replied. After that, we let Julia, Kit, and Dipper go and watch them leave the area in peace. I reunited with the group and they hugged me; happy to see that I am okay. "Glad to see you guys too." I said to them. After the hugs, I looked down to Zach's left and saw Wartortle looking up at me for the first time. "Hey... did Squirtle... evolve?" I asked Zach. "Yep. Sure did." he replied. "So you're a Wartortle now, huh? Hi there, Wartortle." I replied as I knelt down to Wartortle's level. "War-tortle." it replied happily.

A few moments later, I walk upto the Moon Stone, touched it with my right hand, and then used my powers with the Moon Stone's energy to restore the area back to normal. The scorched land that was there before was restored back to its natural state. Fallen rocks that fell into the lake went back to their original spots, and the Moon Stone was fully restored from all the cracks that it had for many years. I end the process and step back from the stone. I put my hand on my chest and felt my heartbeat; realizing that it never went faster after what I just went through. My head wasn't even hurting at all either. I guess my setbacks are starting to stop after all. After the Moon Stone was fixed, it started to shine better than before; making all the Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable happy and dance around with glee and gratitude. "Good job, Tay." said Celina as she patted my back. "Thanks, girl." I replied. "How are you feeling? No headaches or anything?" Zuzu asked me. "Yeah. I feel good. This is the first time in years that I didn't get a throbbing headache when using them." I replied. "That's great! Looks like you're slowly getting better with them!" she replied. I nodded my head in agreement to her response.

"Clef!" said Clefable. "Hm?" I replied. I turned to the front of the Moon Stone and saw Clefable waving its hand at me. It then flew over to me and then pointed at the Clefairy around the Moon Stone; putting down Eggs in front of the Stone. "What the? Are those... Eggs?" said Pat. "Not just any Eggs. They're Pokémon Eggs." I replied. "Pokémon Eggs?" Sora replied curiously. "Mhm. They're very rare to find in the wild, but very common to find in a Pokémon Day Care or Nursery. Trainers who do see and find Eggs in the wild are considered to be very lucky Trainers." I replied. "Wow... that's awesome! Now I wanna find my own Pokémon Egg in the wild someday!" he replied happily. I smiled warmly at his response, looked down at the Eggs, and saw them begin to glow. The Eggs cracked as they glew and then revealed newly hatched Cleffa for the first time. My friends were in awe to see what it was like to see Pokémon hatch from Eggs. The new Cleffa opened their eyes, cooed happily to their parents, and saw the older Cleffa and Clefairy jump, sing, and dance around the Moon Stone in celebration.

After their dance, their bodies began to glow in a bluish-white light; starting their evolution. "Guys, look. They're evolving." said Sora. "I guess this is part of their ritual when there is a full moon." Pat replied. "Mhm. It's just like what Dennis and Yuya said." Sora replied. A few moments later, all the older Cleffa evolved into Clefairy, and the older Clefairy evolved into Clefable. "Clef!" they all cheered. They all then danced around the Moon Stone again with glee. As we watched, I sensed something coming from the Moon Stone. I looked up to the top of the stone and saw a spirit sitting on top of it. The group and our Clefable friend looked at what I saw and were shocked as well. "What..? What is that?" said Zach. I blinked my eyes once, made my eyes glow green, and watched the spirit transform into its real self: Luna, the Guardian of the Moon. My eyes widened in shock to see her for the first time; making her smile warmly. "...Luna..." I said softly.

"Young Guardian... I want to thank you and your friends for protecting my home and all the Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable that live here. You have showed me that you have the heart and determination to protect a Guardian's sacred land and work alongside the Pokémon that live in those lands." she said with a warm smile as she brushed her silver-blonde hair with her hand. She then looked at all the Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable that looked up and saw her for the first time. Her violet eyes blinked twice and then she looked down at her right hand; seeing her Mark glow a deep blue. She lifted her hand as it glew; making mine glow. We showed each other our Marks and I saw her lightly smile again. "Your power... it is just as strong as Eve's. Arceus's prophecy is true after all... it saved Eve's soul just for you. It saw you as her true successor." she said. "Yeah... but... I know in my heart that there is so much to learn about our bloodline that historians don't even know about. Are there places all over the world that only all of the Guardian's know of?" I replied. She nodded her head yes to my question. "How can I find them?" I asked. "Your Mark will guide you. Whenever it glows when you are somewhere, its Light will lead you to the location. If there were more Guardians before us that made those areas, use your abilities to unlock that missing history and tell the stories that were lost to time." she replied.

I nodded my head in understanding. She nodded her head too, and then her body began to glow; letting us know that it is her time to go. "Go forth, my descendant. Use your power to keep our history alive. We'll all be watching over you." she said. She closed her eyes, turned back into a spirit, and disappeared. We all then looked at each other, and then back to the Moon Stone. I walked over to it and put my right hand on it. "Luna... thank you. I promise you that I will keep our history and heritage alive. And I'll do whatever it takes to let the world know about all of us." I said. I took my hand off the stone, and walked back to the group. We all looked at the stone one last time, and then left with all the Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable.

Mt. Moon Square

We stood by the lake and watched everyone prepare for bed. As I watched the campfire, two PokéBalls fell out of my Bag. I picked them up, put them next to it, and I saw Clefable and Clefairy standing near me. They fluttered over to me with their wings and saw the empty PokéBalls near my Bag. "Clef?" said Clefable curiously. "Oh? These? These are PokéBalls. I'm sure that you two have seen many Trainers use these to catch the Pokémon that live around here, right?" I replied. "Clef." Clefable and Clefairy replied. I put the two PokéBalls on the grass and then sat down by the campfire that we had made. Clefable and Clefairy sat down beside me and we looked upto the starry sky; watching the stars glow in silence. I blinked my eyes a couple times, and then looked down to the ground; picking up the Team Rocket badge. I stared at it silently and then felt the dark memories of the group play in my head again. I lowered my head in pain and felt tears fall down my face. Clefable and Clefairy noticed what was happening with me and stared at me worriedly.

They stood up, hugged my arms, and used Heal Pulse to help me calm down. Once I felt the aura of the move through me, I began to calm down from my little mental breakdown. I lifted my head up and saw the two of them hugging my arms and using Heal Pulse on me; leaving me surprised and speechless. After a few moments, the move ended and they let go of my arms. They opened their eyes and saw me looking at them; seeing my eyes nearly all red from crying. "Clef? Clef-Clef?" said Clefairy in a worried tone. I wiped my tears away, shook my head no, and showed them the Team Rocket badge. "You really want to know why I'm upset?" I asked them. They nodded their heads yes to my question. "See this badge? This is a badge that came from a giant, evil group called Team Rocket. They are a group of people who take Pokémon from both the wild and from Trainers, and sell them off for profit and for rare Pokémon by dealers they are associated with. The only things they care about are profit and world domination. And when I was little... I was kidnapped by them because of my powers. They experimented on me until I snapped and lost control of myself... until I was saved by a powerful Pokémon. Ever since that day, I've been having nightmares and flashbacks of that cruel day. It affects me so bad that I can even fully sleep through the night. So... I try to stay awake as much as I can in order to escape the flashbacks." I replied as we looked at the badge.

They looked at me in shock from my story, and then hugged me again; wanting to comfort me as much as they could. I hugged them too and stayed silent for a few minutes. We ended the hug, wiped away our tears, and then shared a little laugh together. "...Thank you. That hug helped out a lot." I said. "Clef-Clef!" they replied happily. We smiled at each other happily and then turned to my left; seeing the group walk over to us. "Hey, guys." I said after I did a little stretch. "Hey. You three comfortable?" Pat replied. "Mhm." I replied. "Huh? Wait a second? When did Clefairy and Clefable join the camp?" Sora replied. "When you guys were getting water from the lake." I replied. "Ah. That would make sense." he replied as he and the group sat down on the grass. All our teams came over to us a few seconds later and sat around the campfire with us. As we all got comfortable, we looked up at the sky and saw shooting stars quickly zoom through the sky.

"Hey, look! They're shooting stars!" said Zuzu. "Yeah. Everyone, quick! Make a wish!" Sora replied. We all closed our eyes and began to make our wishes inside our thoughts; keeping them secret from each other. We opened our eyes a moment later and kept on watching the shooting stars fly by in the sky. We talked, sang, danced, ate our food, drank our water, and had fun together for a couple more hours until we all fell asleep for the night. As we slept, Clefairy and Clefable woke up and walked over to the two empty PokéBalls that were next to my Bag. They stared at them for a bit and then turned to me as I slept on the grass with the group and our teams. They turned back to the two PokéBalls, nodded their heads, and touched them; making them start the capture process. As they did this, we all woke up and saw what they were doing; shocking us. The two PokéBalls shook once and then confirmed the captures. "Clefairy and Clefable have been registered to your PokéDex." said my Phone. We got up and went to my Bag, and I knelt down and picked up the two PokéBalls in my hands. "No... way..." said Celina. "They let themselves get caught... but... why?" Zuzu replied. "Maybe they trust Taylor after helping them protect the Moon Stone?" Celina replied. "Maybe..?" Zuzu replied.

I gently threw the two PokéBalls up in the air, watched them open, and saw both Clefairy and Clefable appear in front of us. "Clef-Clef." they said. "Hey? Did you two catch yourselves with these?" I asked them. They nodded their heads yes to my question. "Is it because you trust her enough? Or for thanking her for protecting the Moon Stone with you?" Zach asked. "Clef-Clef." they replied. "For both reasons, huh?" he replied. They nodded their heads yes to his response and then turned to me and my team. They walked over to them and stood by Tetrax, Solar, Sandshrew, Nidoran, and Hurricane. "Tetrax? Did you and the others talk to them about this?" I asked. He nodded his head yes to my question. "Huh? What did they talk about?" Pat asked us. "Maybe they gave them ideas on what it would be like to travel with us and see the world beyond Mt. Moon?" Zuzu replied. "Probably." Pat replied. I stood up and walked over to my team; kneeling down to Clefairy and Clefable's height. "Clef? Clef-able?" said Clefable curiously. "Yeah. I'm okay. I'm just... surprised. To be honest, I never thought that I would be considered a worthy Trainer to have the both of you on my team... but... I guess that I was wrong. And after what we all went through here today... I guess that I proved to you my worth." I replied.

"Clef!" Clefairy and Clefable replied happily as they nodded their heads in agreement. I couldn't help but smile at them happily at their response. I picked up their PokéBalls and showed them to them again. "I know that you two made your decision, but... I still want to ask you both properly. Clefairy? Clefable? Would you like to come with me?" I asked. "Clef-Clef!" they replied happily; making me smile. After that, we all went to sleep for the night under the starry sky. The next morning, we woke up, had breakfast, and saw a few Moon Stones by our bags. "Hm? I guess this is our thank you gift?" said Zach. "I think so?" Pat replied. "Yeah. Wait! Celina! Taylor! With these Moon Stones, you two can evolve your Nidoran's into Nidoqueen and Nidoking after they evolve into Nidorina and Nidorino!" Sora replied. Celina and I turned to each other in surprise, and then smirked at each other a few seconds later. "Looks like we'll have ourselves a Nidoqueen and Nidoking battle someday?" I said. "Absolutely." she replied. We did a arm bump happily and then looked down at our Nidoran's as they gently shove each other with smirks on their faces. After that, we packed up all of our things, said goodbye to all the Cleffa, Clefairy, and Clefable that live here, and then left the area.

Route 4

After about 30 minutes of finding the way out, we walked out of Mt. Moon and arrived at Route 4. We turned to our left and began walking down the path, and saw a city in the horizon. "Hey, guys! Check it out! That's Cerulean City!" said Pat. "Wow..." we replied in awe. "Well what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Celina replied. "Right!" we replied. After that, we began to run and head for Cerulean City. "Last one there is a rotten Exeggcute!" said Sora. We laughed happily together and continued our way to the city. As we ran, four Trainers in hoods watched us run towards the city from the trees and bushes in the area. Their goggles lightly shined under the sunlight, and one of their eyes began to glow golden yellow and clutched their left hand into a fist and put it to their chest; revealing the same exact Mark as mine, but with a golden yellow light shining from it.

Thank you so much for reading Chapter 7 of the story! Man... this one got kinda interesting. Not only do we have the debut of Julia, Kit, and Dipper into the story, but we also have a debut of Guardian Locations! Okay. Let me explain how these Guardian Locations are going to work. Whenever our heroine's Mark glows bright when she traveling, it tells her that there is a sacred area that was made by a past Guardian nearby. These locations are homes to Pokémon that are very rare to find in the wild of each specific region and Pokémon that have migrated from one region to another for reasons unknown so far. When she enters the area, she has to help the Pokémon that live in those areas deal with hunters, poachers, or anyone that is trying to steal or destroy the area for their own purposes. After saving the area, she will encounter the spirit of the Guardian that made the area and know more of their story that connects both Eve and Adam's bloodlines.

The more Guardian Locations she and the group find, the more they learn of the Guardians history that have been lost to time. So, yeah... these locations are going to be a big deal. Hopefully as our heroine and her friends find them, they will learn more about the world of Pokémon more than what they have learned in the classroom and on the battlefield.

Anyways, thank you so much for reading, and have an awesome day!

Next time, Chapter 8: Splash of Rage. As the group spends time in Cerulean City, they and Misty deal with a swarm of rageful Gyarados that have evolved by some kind of frequency machine. While fighting through their sheer power, they meet Team Rocket for the first time in years! How is our heroine going to deal with these foes? Can she keep her power and rage under control? Find out in Chapter 8!
