Rukia is walking with Ichigo, who is in his Soul Reaper form. His body is at home. "So what's the plan Rukia?"

"We have found the hollow that was chasing Orihime." The former Kuchiki explains and points at the house. That makes Ichigo's eyes widen due to it being Orihime's home. He enters the house and quickly dodges a swipe by the hollow. The hollow is holding Orihime and smashes through a wall to escape.

"Orihime!"

"Ichigo…" Tatsuki mutters on the ground. Ichigo checks on her and notices bruises and scratch marks all over her. "Please help her."

"I will. Just stay here. Take care of her, Rukia." The substitute reaper jumps out to chase the hollow. Ichigo jumps over buildings and gets close to the hollow, who takes a swipe at him. "Up!"

He jumps over the Hollow's arm and runs on it. Ichigo unsheathes his sword and takes a stab at him. The Hollow tries to move his head but is still stab through his eye while breaking a piece of his mask. This makes him let go of Orihime. Ichigo grabs Orihime and lands on the street.

"GAH! Damn you Kurosaki!" The Hollow roars at the substitute reaper. He is confused when Rukia runs towards him. She was able to heal Tatsuki from her wounds and wants to check on the battle. He suddenly drops Orihime into Rukia's arms. She catches her but she begins to wake up.

"What the hell?!"

"Sorry Rukia but I need both hands to take him down." Ichigo apologizes and prepares to the Hollow that drops to the ground. "Have we meet before Hollow? I have never seen someone with your- wait."

That was he sees the face under the mask. So does Orihime. "Brother?"

"Orihime. Don't worry, we are going to be together again!" Sora Inoue, Orihime's brother roars at his sister. Ichigo remembers a little about him. He took his sister away from their abusive parents and he raise her by himself. That was when he was struck by a car which killed him. Ever since then, Orihime has been with Tatsuki and himself.

"Give her back Kurosaki! We will join again in death!" Sora shouts and spits acid at Ichigo. He dodges the acid and unsheathes his sword. It breaks Ichigo's heart to hear those words. Gone is the kind big brother, now is the Hollow Acidwire. The monster that wants to kill his own sister. Ichigo doesn't want to do it but he needs to put Acidwire down. The Substitute Reaper spins in a circle. This confuses the hollow. Even more when Ichigo starts gyrating his hips.

"Hm. Hm. Let me give you one last song before you die." Ichigo declares. Suddenly he jumps over Acidwire then lands behind it. "Quinte Tierce Fantasia!"

He sheathes his sword and a mighty slash cut him in two. Sora Inoue cries in pain and collapses. Orihime runs to her brother and kneels beside him. This monster is suppose to be her brother. He looks up at her. "Orihime..."

"I don't know what is going on. If I am dreaming or why my brother is a monster. But..." Orihime hugs Sora's head and he is shock as he begins to fade away. "When my brother is in pain, I would always hug him."

"You did... Thank you Orihime..." Sora Inoue disappears and Ichigo gives a quick prayer. Perhaps he will make it to the afterlife. Ichigo watches Rukia pat Orihime in the back. Seeing Rukia comfort Orihime makes Ichigo have a big smile. Rukia may not show it but it warms his heart to see her kindness.

*POOF*

That moment is ruined when Rukia puts a birthday popper in Orihime's face and it goes off. This knocks her out and Ichigo is shocked. "Nevermind!"

"Sorry but she can't know a Soul Reaper's job. This is a device that alters memories. She won't remember a thing. You can carry her back to her house. Just in case, we better erase Tatsuki's memories." Rukia walks away and Ichigo picks up their unconscious friend.

"How is it that I have the ice powers but she is the coldest woman I have ever meet? My skin has chills, if I had any! YO-HOHOHO!"

"I'm telling you. A Yakuza man broke in my house and try to attack me. Then he tripped and crash through my window." Orihime explains what happen last night. Her friends look at her confused with Tatsuki being confused about something else.

"What are you talking about? A martial artist attacked us in your home and I had to defeat him to defend you." Tatsuki tells her story and now their friends are wondering what they are talking about. From across the classroom, Ichigo knows what they are talking about and slowly turns to Rukia beside him. She begins to blush when she notices Ichigo giving her a 'why' look.

"Look, the memories are altered based on the person's imagination. Don't judge me."

Behind the Soul Reapers, a classmate in glasses is staring at them. 'I shall show you Soul Reapers the power of a Quincy soon. After my Sewing Club, my challenge shall be issued.'

After class, the two are heading home though Rukia has something in mind. "Why was Uryu Ishida staring at you like that?"

"Me? I thought he was glaring at your head." Ichigo and Rukia notice that Uryu Ishida would stare at them during class. He is a quiet one that neither really interacted with. Ichigo tries to think of what they did that gave Uryu look at them like that. Ichigo's eyes widen at the 'revelation' he just had.

"Don't tell me..."

Rukia is curious what he has in mind. "You figured out why he was looking at us?"

"I think so... It must be the sandwich." Ichigo suddenly say and they both stop in the middle of the sidewalk. Rukia thinks of what he is talking about and nods at the thought.

"You could be right."
