Chapter 33: School Talks, Gryffindor and First Day Of Classes
"And that's the true case of house unification I'm talking about." Aggie said, smiling then gently. "You just showed exactly what I'm talking about boys, in order for us to make changes, it's by making friends outside of your own houses, and working as one in training right now." She said and we both nodded. "Hey guys, before we have any further explosions in class, I'm making sure no one does exactly what said instructions said not to do." I said and Millie closed her eyes.
"Case in point is destroying the cauldron after whatever got put in there, or dumping hot water on top of it." Tracy said smiling and I nodded. "Before that blows the door off it's hinges next." I said and everyone started laughing at that. "And that happens all the time in there as it is right now, but again, pay attention to what you're doing, before someone does just that and blasts the chair across the room next." Severus said with a bemused smile on his face.
"But like you said maybe a prefect, but still a student." he added and we nodded. "And the arrogance of being a prefect to come with it, now we were acting like junior aurors, he's pretending to be important by flashing that badge around like it's royalty." Ron said and Severus crossed his arms. "I call that another good reason to get rid of said arrogance, or you're going to get hurt here right now." Madam Hooch said to that remark sternly and Minerva nodded to that.
After everyone had been sorted into their houses, we all settled in, before she called for our attention. "Your attention please!" she said and we relaxed as Dumbledore stood up. "Let the feast begin." he said and dinner appeared on the table then as the sextet, Hermione and Ron all looked at the ensemble and reached out, but I grabbed her hand. "No, don't touch it, Guys together, status check!" I said and the 5th to 8th years waved their wands over dinner then.
And their tips glowed red. "They're spiked, all of it's drugged, this says loyalty and love potions." Sarah said sternly and I nodded. "Our's too kids." Kingsley said sternly and Dumbledore swallowed hard at that. "There's the reason, she's not following orders I gave them, she's been drugged to only listen to 'him'!" Minerva said sternly and I nodded. "They both have, as have Patterson's gang, well how about turn about is fair play here." I said and he swallowed hard.
"And that's why you been claiming everything based on him, he thinks, he believes, the man is a megalomaniac trying to keep you dancing to his tune guys. So with that, Toppy arrest all the school elves, they are being turned into Lord Diggory's department. For working with a dangerous man, one a megalomaniac trying to point students to get them to follow him. Professor, it's we each get our family elves, during the school year they take care of us."
"All pro ministry born elves, in owners, everyone get your elves, Toppy!" I said and she nodded gently, as I heard 30 shouts from every pro ministry wizard born to their own elves then. "Dobby!" Draco shouted out and he appeared instantly, as the others all followed him. "All family owned elves, you're being given a pay raise and working for the school now, to protect us. From the headmaster, his desperation to do things his way said is dangerous, and getting more."
"Now, dangerous by the minute here now." Cedric said and they nodded to the orders at that news. "Never see that coming, after we confunded you, you leave immediately, before you can put the compulsion charms on the duo again. And now we catch you in the act of trying to poison us by putting loyalty and compulsion potions on us by tanking our food?" I said and Dumbledore paled at that, realizing we hexed him to prevent further tampering then.
"Yes and Dobby, round up every house elf, as there's 4 to a wizarding lord family, to the junior lord and lady of the revised Sacred 28. They're doing kitchen service starting now, the school elves are loyal to the headmaster, who is poisoning us. And with love and loyalty potions, which is highly illegal, once done, get the head of control of Magical Creatures." Draco said and Dobby nodded as I patted his shoulder and he disappeared with a gentle crack at that response.
"Toppy, food switch." I said and everything swapped out and with a same version, but clean, as they did it again and this time. It's their wands glowed blue and Dumbledore paled at that, now realizing we knew he'd been tanking everything. And with loyalty potions and we caught him in the act then finally, of breaking the law now. "There's your reason young lady, young man, you ever consider in addition to mind control spells, he's been poisoning you with love and loyalty."
"Compulsion potions all this time?" Addams said sternly and Hermione swallowed hard. "As we said, desperation makes people dangerous, now that we caught him in the act. Again, are you going to listen to me now finally, we only have your best interests at heart here." Minerva asked her sternly and she nodded shaking. "These have narcotic like effects, your body built up a tolerance after 6 years, that skipping school for the search…" I said and they both went white.
"I told you I wanted to go alone, you should have stayed here, at least you're helping Ginny, Luna and Neville controlling thing in our Defense group." I said and Ron swallowed hard at that, now realizing it was two fold then, he'd been tricked all that time. "We're muggleborn, we know potions are like drugs, these potions, like the Felix, are drugs, some are opioids. Others are sedatives, some, like the energy, are energy drinks!" I said and every teenager all froze up then.
"You trying to poison us, you old buzzard!" Billy shouted sternly and he went white, realizing he got caught. "Nobody takes the lemon drops, their tanked." I said and they nodded. "So was dinner right now, nice thinking little brother, if you haven't stopped the duo right now. Well then they're stuck under his control right now, I see why Mad-eye brought his own food. This way he never gets poisoned or under control." Percy said and Ron looked at the ensemble, shaking.
"That's why Ron never noticed this, it's because he stuffs his face, not realizing everything he's eating is tanked by serum, loyalty potions!" Fred snapped and I nodded and he went white, realizing his fatal mistake and I nodded. "The way before, before I helped your parents pay for groceries now, was you never get down there at the table quick. That you miss out on the biggest portions, but his thinking that now, that has left him trapped under his control here."
"And all this time, of us, only I needed a strong amount, but you saw my living conditions before we turned back the clock, starving me…" I said and he and George nodded and Aggie nodded. "Point made." Dora said sternly then to this. "Constant vigilance Headmaster, constant vigilance." I said with a stern smirk and he swallowed hard. "You need to be ready, you need to be prepared, you need to see that at times, your own loyalties are poisoning you here now."
"That's the reason you took off in the middle of the search, in addition to the anchor, you're in withdrawal!" I said and Ron swallowed hard, shaking. "My elf is giving us clean food, as is every blood traitor elf now." Neville said sternly then. "Like I said love and loyalty potions, everyone is going cold turkey, starting now." I said sternly and he paled further at that remark. "And with that, everyone watch your peers the next few weeks." Poppy said and every house nodded then.
"Going cold turkey, that means stopping use of whatever immediately, that the body has to get used to going without whatever." Sarah said and the purebloods nodded. "Say the serum 636 was drugging Jackson with." I said and she nodded sternly. "Yeah that and the elixir, or just plain drugs, even the sarcophagus was an addiction right now. But cold turkey means suddenly deciding to quit said addiction, but try that there's always a downside." Billy said sternly to this.
"Say the patient getting short tempered and violent now, that's what Harry meant by you better get ready for a reaction, nervous reaction's, someone is going to flip." He said and Poppy, Ben and Jeff nodded sternly. "That happens all the time with medical opioids and recreational drugs, but potions, whatever the pharmaceutical companies put into these, are considered drugs." Sarah said and the faculty nodded sternly, as they looked at the 10, I busted for their beliefs.
Regarding the headmaster as Madam Marchbanks wrote down, 'drugging students to hold onto his title.' and he swallowed hard then. "Everyone dig in, the house elves of us pro ministry took control over the school elves." Neville called out and we nodded as we started eating as I looked at Seamus then. "Before say it right now, Seamus, that portion is not funny, we had that had twice prior to you and your parents." I said to him and he looked at me at that remark.
"How so?" he asked and I said it to him then. "It's because Riddle's mother and father were the first, she's a witch, he's a muggle, but she drugged him. And with a love potion, and when she decided to stop, to give him a chance to choose on his own, he left her immediately, before that happened again. And with the half blood prince's parents." I said and he nodded in shock. "So nearly third time's the charm?" Draco asked and I nodded to him and they both nodded.
"Yeah, but Eileen Prince happens to be the best potions student in the entire school, but we have only 3 half-bloods who are the most powerful students. In truth ever, I'm one of them, the others are Riddle himself and then the Professor, not Professor Dumbledore, but Professor Snape's he's a half-blood." I said and they nodded in shock. "Running comparisons here now, I found something interesting in the three brothers story-line, but when Death got cheated."
"He decided to hang back until the duo's own arrogance back fired, envy, lust for power and then out of the trio, the youngest brother, Peverell now. Ignotus Peverell, was the most humble of the trio, and got the cloak here, while the others wanted a way to absolute power and another wanting his loved one back." I said and he nodded in shock of my knowledge at that news. "Well I never saw that coming." Lee said to me then and I nodded as I answered him gently at that.
"Hey Harry, expecting trouble this year?" Jack Cattlehorn called out to me, from Ravenclaw. "Not by much, but you know what was put into that book here, so not taking chances here." I said and he nodded. "I hear that." Roger Malone said in response and we nodded. "Us too." the rest of our class said and the 2nd and 3rd years nodded. "Well whoever blows up the cauldron, be careful to not get any of what is we're working on, on you." Mione said and they nodded then.
"Hey Seamus, I don't suppose you heard that, like you, that your mother was the same way with the Potions and Charms." Draco said and he looked at him with a bemused smile. "Issues with the pyrotechnics here, and keep from over embellishing in the wrist movements. And don't put your head over that cauldron, or you're going to get a faceful of soot here." Oliver said and the others started laughing at that and he nodded with an amused smile then gently.
"Trust me that happened all the time in class here, Mr. Finnigan, your mother couldn't stop making things explode, while Neville's father was bound now. In truth for the level of trouble that you had when we were your age in truth." Remus said and he started laughing at that. "Well now you know where we get it from and learned it all, we take after our parents just a bit too much." he said and the faculty nodded with an amused smile as I said it with a chuckle at that.
"One more reason to study history, it makes it easier to understand these things, and to prevent a repeater of the past by making changes here now." I said and they nodded as Minerva and Remus hid a chuckle at that as Severus said it for him then. "I heard that, and nice work in explanations." Severus said in response and they started laughing. "And that's the reason you need to pay attention, you learn some interesting history here." Andy said to that remark then.
"Hey Professors, I came up with an idea of how you can know who's a visitor to who's a student, we create student identifications cards, they do this now. For private schools, so unless you have your student I.D. with you at all time, and can't leave campus." I called out and they all nodded. "Nice idea son, that works, as we're going to need those, so we know we got an intruder here or just a doppelganger." Ted said in response and Dumbledore nodded to that.
"Is Binns retired now?" Ron asked and she nodded. "Yes, and with us making changes to the school expect some interesting side effects." Dumbledore said and we all nodded. "Hey we're not toddlers, so stop playing with your food." Mione said to someone else who was clearly trying to annoy her at that. "Yeah I agree with that, and listen wise guy, this is not the time to start horsing around, so stop it already." I said in response, before I heard a slightly amused remark.
"Alright who took my corn on the cob?" one of the first years at my table said. "I don't know, but we're not having disappearing acts with the food or utensils here, and I see anything flying around the room and you're both going to get it, now that's enough of that already." Remus said to that in response and I tried to keep from laughing at that. "And that's papa wolf for you right now, but I'm really going to enjoy this year right now." I said and I knew he was smiling.
"That's your basic middle schooler, Papa, in truth it's always playing with the food or disappearing acts with the food, staples or utensils." Mione said and they chuckled and nodded smiling. "Alright cubs, you pull yourselves together, but I get smacked the cub that did it is asking for it big time, now settle down." Remus said and we nodded. "New R.A., Professor?" Dean asked and he nodded. "Yes next in command of our dorm, I've got you." he said and we all smiled.
"Just getting back to school and our world after coming home and already he's going to be our star pupil in everything here now." I heard from Madam Hooch and the quartet nodded, as it was midway through the feast as one of our new members were getting a couple more chicken legs we had our first scare that the school residents ghosts showed up then as Millie was getting a chicken leg and Nearly Headless Nick appeared then with a gentle smile on his face then.
"Hello, how are you, welcome to Gryffindor." he said and I shook my head with a laugh as we all looked up as the entire assemble appeared, as I looked at Slytherin table and saw the Bloody Baron appear. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say that he's the ghost of Dustin Hoffman, when he played Hook on that movie." Dean said and I nodded. "That's my thought as well, but their clothes were set back in medieval times." Ron said to him and he nodded to that.
"That would around the time of the Musketeers when their clothes were dress jackets, dresses, and carrying swords, hello Nick, have a nice summer." Mione said and I nodded in agreement to her thoughts. "Dismal, once again my request to join the headless hunt has been denied." he said and we nodded. "I know you, you're Nearly Headless Nick." Seamus said and he said it. "I prefer Sir Nicholas if you don't mind." he said and Draco looked at him gently.
As Sally said it for all of them. "Nearly headless, how can you..." she started to say and I stepped in. "Don't, the reason is whoever tried to behead him didn't get the last sinew in his neck, so he's partially decapitated here." I said quickly and she nodded as the elder members of our table sighed in relief. "That question happens all the time." Dean said and the 2nd to 8th years all nodded to him. "Yes, and thank you, Harry." Angelina said and I nodded to her gently.
"You got to stop doing that, Nick." Charlie said bemused and he chuckled at that, as he saw the 10 8th years of our house then. "Final year for you, my young friends?" Nick asked looking at the 10 gently and they nodded gently to him. "Yeah and we couldn't ask for a better chance to enjoy things this year, I get to see my younger brother's year, before I leave. But Percy's next in command of my family with being a 6th year next year." Charlie said and he nodded smiling.
"Thank the lord we all made it to the same school together, so though different dorms we're together now, huh guys?" Jack called out to us and we all nodded smiling. "Yeah different primary and elementary schools, but if we had been raised together, anyone expect trouble?" Mione asked and they smiled. "No, but all of us going to the very same school we got new friends sure, but we still got each other, so we stick together." Justin said smiling and then I smiled and said it.
"Hey guys, consider the fact if we all went to the same school together, guess what happens before we all ended up here?" I called out and the rest of our class in the muggle borns all smiled. "Uh oh!" we heard 40 teenage voices all say together, and our teachers all chuckled at that response. "Issues when your youngest house members are all muggle-borns here right now, that's its a pillow fight or what not waiting to happen." Severus said with a bemused smile.
"Anyone ever seen that portion of the movie, in Curry's version of where the direction the conversation took during dinner, when they met up as adults now here?" Roger said from across the table directly in front of me at the Ravenclaw table, and we nodded. "Yeah we did, but if the ending of said conversation was anything to go by, this was why none of us were taking chances in where the direction of the conversation was headed next." Mione said and I nodded firmly.
"Tell me about it, and we're not doing that next year once someone unlocks the blasted door in there." I said and Mione nodded in agreement. "And I'm not reliving that nightmare, but Ginny's got it even worse, Harry's going in..." Ron started to say and I covered my eyes and Severus nodded. "You got to be kidding me right now?!" Penny said in shock and I shook my head. "It's not the bloody thing killing anyone, but this is just as bad." Mione said at that remark.
"Well I see why you're still having nightmares over that after killing the bloody snake." Oliver said to me and I nodded. "Yeah it's because that portion is like going into the sewer, and before someone injured the damn thing, and this time, I'm killing the bloody monster." I said and he nodded. "Yeah well I think the roosters injured it in the last round and you did it for real in this one." Severus said to me and I nodded in agreement to that remark then firmly at that.
"And barely missing killing yourself while doing it as well." Sarah said sternly at that. "Do that again, you won't have to worry about Gin killing you as we will, vocally here, because that's enough of the close calls here, little brother." Angel told me sternly and I nodded quickly. "That's the movie version to this book, but the leader of the group went in half cocked after he realized Curry had his wife." I said and she nodded gently at the news and Oliver sighed then firmly.
"And though not married, not yet, she's your soulmate, you're not losing her without a fight." he said and I nodded. "Yeah, this is what happens in our world, when we knew each other all our lives, we'd do anything to keep from losing each other." I said and he nodded as Justin said it. "Which was the punchline with a group of 7 of teenagers dealing with a mental homicide now realized, as they weren't going to run anymore and face this, and became a team after that."
"But we're working to come together, it's we're just starting, and we're 11 here, so no one's over doing it right now." he said and we nodded. "Hey Justin, what do you expect our first sport will be?" I asked and he grinned. "By the looks of this, we're teaching them to play basketball here first, but two teams, but let's get our side together, before someone starts a debate over who gets put on what team here." he said and I nodded as Mione closed her eyes laughing then.
"What now exactly, guys come on, we're not doing this all night, but sure we just met, supposedly, but never mind that, we're a gang a team." Roger said smiling. "I'm not exactly sure here, but whoever started it this time exactly, but though not a team same difference right now, that we're all happy right now here. That we all made Hogwarts, so though different dorms, still us as a gang." Dean said smiling and Justin nudged me in the back and I grinned at him.
"Is this what growing up in the muggle world results in, that your best friend also gets put into the house you're in, and you're acting like you normally do?" Ron asked and she, Dean, Justin, Sally and Jack all nodded. "Yeah it is, so as a result, us muggle-borns got our friends with us, so new school, new teachers, new life, but still us." Dean said to him and he nodded. "Which was the punchline in chapter 3 of the Mighty Ducks now." I said to finish and he nodded.
"Same old us, nothing's changed and nothing ever will." I said and he chuckled and nodded. "No kidding, but boys, you start going at it, and we end up in the middle and you're both going to get it, and I'm not kidding." Mione said for the girls and we all nodded. "What you want a bet someone starts another one later this week and big brother or sister needs to take charge." Dean asked and she started laughing. "You know you're like Hall at times." she said and he smiled.
"Seamus is Hall and Dean is Russ." I said in response and she nodded. "Slight hothead, but that's one way to dilute the anger at having him go Hawk on them and for the second time in 18 months." Justin said from behind us and I nodded in agreement. "They're all 11, barring 12, but watch it with the language, and that's us exactly, but at least we know not to cross the line here, in pranks right now." I said and he nodded as he turned to me with a smile at that gently.
"Us three born or raised, it's somethings never change no matter how old we get." Justin said with a laugh at that. "I got that, but you guys keep going at it like this and I wind up in the middle you're being blown into the wall or the pool next and I mean that." she said to him at that. "Well at least you're a virgo bordering on a libra, need balance and we create said balance this way." I said to her and she nodded smiling as she rubbed my back at that remark.
"What the horoscopes?" Jason Mendell said from up the table and I nodded to him then. "What Bombay meant was that though new life, new school, new teachers and new coach, what didn't change was they were still themselves, they were just missing one member. And of their team, the leader of the team was like me, didn't want changes, before their original coach finally talked some sense into him." I said and he nodded to me at the news then gently.
"Aside from the fact your favorite teachers also end up transferring at times, and you got someone you know there easily now." Mione said and he nodded to her then. "Case in point is your favorite teacher or teaching aide in class, and said person is another you see like an extended family member that to you it's. In truth, depending on how many years you got left together, before they retire, make the best of your time together." I said and they nodded gently to that.
"This guy is no older then we were when he started out, and that's the captain of the team, he's like me, so changes and all at once, it takes time to adjust. So all my friends in one place, and we're not cut off here, so new school, new teachers, new uniforms, and what doesn't change is us, we're still us now. We're just growing up, we still got each other, we're still us and nothing's changed and nothing ever will between us." I said and my peers nodded to the analogy.
"And to quote this analogy now, it's the more things change, and the more they stay the same, no matter how old we get." Mione said and our teachers nodded in agreement. "True, that though you're growing up, it's something's never change no matter what's going on, as you can't resist a good mystery here now. No matter how much we discourage this at the current moment young lady, boys." Minerva said and we nodded smiling gently at that remark then.
"Case point, we got three years together, before things change, and when they do, and we had a break to play in year 4 that's the tournament now in truth. Is that's the start of a change, meaning we only got two years left together, before what's left of the 7 of us, start leaving as well." I said and the twins, Angelina and Alicia nodded sighing. "Well let's enjoy the next 5 years while it last right now." Angelina said to me and I nodded in agreement as Oliver answered that.
"So basically we got 4 years together, before one by one, we all leave the team?" Oliver said and I nodded. "Yeah, I got the 6 of you, for 4 years, before first you leave and then the quartet, before it's just Katie and me left." I said and he nodded gently. "Issues in our team, it's a case of controlling things, before you wiseacres start over doing it, and bro, stay out of trouble." Fred said to me. "I could say the same Gred." I said and he smiled playfully and Minerva chuckled.
"Issues in the in-laws right now." Mione said and he started laughing at that. "Yeah and you're our brother and sister-in-law, and the first of many now." he said and we nodded. "Well that close it doesn't surprise me that you and Angel get together soon enough." she said and he nodded smiling. "We're your family, and we protect our family." he said and she smiled as she leaned against me and I smiled at her gently at that as Severus hid a chuckle at that remark then.
"That's the name of their Pee-wee coach: Bombay?" Severus asked and I nodded. "Yeah, but you saw this movie, remember who he played, in said book?" I asked and he and Ted chuckled and nodded, before every muggle-born all smiled as the girls exchanged smiles. "Issues in puberty, when said main cast is group of teenage boys, the youngest is like Harry is personality traits." Mione said and the girls all smiled and I looked down and she smiled at that response.
"Emilio played played the surrogate older brother of the narrator, bit of a wise guy in personality traits, he's the second oldest of their entire gang." Dean said and he nodded. "The trouble maker of the bunch happened to be another well known actor in our parents age group his name is Matt Dillon, but he made nearly all of the authors books, when they became movies." I said and he nodded to the news in amazement. "Aside from part 2!" Jack said from his side then.
"I take it this coach character also did nearly all her books?" Ron asked and we nodded. "Yeah 4 of the 5 and their female counterpart did two of the movies, but this is high school reading what's considered book essays due in the spring semester. And the book club is possibly running a test to see who paid attention and read the book or did both." Justin said and Andy nodded to confirm that thought then. "We're busted." I heard from the Slytherin table at that news then.
"Not bothering to read what they chose in the muggle reading?" Mione asked and one of them looked at us, bemused. "We will, but whoever wasn't paying attention to the story, is possibly going to fail that essay." he said and we nodded. "Jack you better stop playing with the potions supplies, before you blow the chair across the room." I said and he nodded to me. "And that happened last semester and George blew the door off it's hinges." Severus said and we nodded.
"We keep talking about pyrotechnics or anything exploding and someone is going to take that as the go ahead with us this young and not learning to control it." Dean said to us and we nodded. "And again control your tempers, the reason your wand work keeps exploding is because you keep getting frustrated here, or you're overly anxious." Poppy said and we nodded. "Who started this conversation?" Justin asked from behind us at that and I shrugged at that remark then.
"Hey don't try it Seamus..." I heard and then heard a loud explosion that blew up the turkey. "Well that's one way to carve said turkey." I said and the other three tables all started laughing at that. "If you wanted it darker, you could have used the flame hex, you know." Ron added and everyone tried to get their laughter under control at the remark. "Well the light meat just got scattered on the plates marking who wanted what side." Dean added to that remark then.
And Minerva and Dumbledore nodded with a gentle chuckle then at the remark. "Alright settle down cubs." Pomona called out and we all nodded as the staff exchanged amused looks at the direction the conversation between our tables took as our head of house said it then. "Which table was it this time, students?" Minerva called out and Oliver looked up at her with a bemused smile. "Us Professor, one of the firsties." he said and she nodded as Hagrid hid a smile.
"Alright who started it this time?" Ted asked, and I looked at Seamus. "He did" I said and he smiled. "No I didn't" "Yes you did" " No I didn't" "Yes you did" "No I didn't" "Did" "Didn't" "Did" "Didn't' "Did" Didn't" "Guys cut it out." Mione said and we smiled and Minerva I could tell was trying to keep from laughing. "He started it." "No I didn't" "Did" "Didn't" "Did" "Didn't" "Did" "Didn't" "Did" Didn't." "Did" "Didn't" Seamus said and Severus said it for all of them at that remark.
And with a bemused smile on his face as he answered that remark then. "Alright I don't I care who started it right now, I'm ending it, so that's enough of that cubs, now again settle down." Severus said to us and everyone on both sides of us started laughing at that. "Merlin I never seen our students like this before, but that's going too far right now, Severus." she said and he nodded in agreement. "We don't need this going in circles all night." Sarah said to me gently then.
"So that's enough of that already guys." Oliver said to finish that remark and everyone surrounding us started laughing at that. "At least not said mentor, who hears this day in and day out between his student and their friends right now, but that explains this." I said putting out chapter 1 of the next story line on the table and he nodded. "I may not be your mentor, but I am your big brother, so we're not doing this all night boys." he said and we nodded as she chuckled.
As Mione was shaking in laughter at this conversation. "This is going to be a long 8 years right now, but that's going too far boys, you just get here, and already you're going at it like this?" Cedric said with a chuckle at that and I smiled. "Start with me, and I'm going to let you have it right now pal, watch it." he said with a slight smile, knowing where my thoughts headed and Oliver started laughing. "Come on you guys, not tonight." Sally said laughing and we nodded.
"Well that says it all Pomona, our boys are acting like brothers." Minerva said to her and she nodded smiling then. "I call this, he smacks him, or tries to start with him he's going to let him have it here." she said and Minerva nodded. "Said smack him said pillow, and we end up in the middle, whoever smacked us is getting it on full blast cubs, now settle down, especially you youngest cubs in our dorms." Ted said gently and we all nodded with a slight smile at that remark.
"I take it you're the Hufflepuff R.A., Uncle Ted?" Draco asked and he nodded. "Yes, Alexandra has Ravenclaw, Remus has you, and Horace has Slytherin." he said and we nodded. "So when our heads of houses aren't around, you're in charge?" Goyle asked and the quartet nodded. "In which case, aside from Horace, the rest of us are the next age group down. As your parents age group young man, so want to test us, you're walking a fine line." Sinistra said to him sternly.
"Alright who did it this time exactly?" Mione asked and Seamus held his hand up. "Didn't we already talk about this, until you mastered the control, don't try it?" I asked and he looked down then. "And I thought trying this as before we get the required training is nuts, but being a half-blood trying it, in seeing your parents skills is even more dangerous." I said and Remus, Andy and Ted all started laughing at that remark and Mione and Minerva nodded with a smile.
"Wasn't that the reason you told us to never play with your wands growing up, before we mastered the basics?" I asked and Andy and Ted nodded. "Yes and after Molly told me your brother destroyed the kitchen wall this is why we also told you. Just to ease up on your emotions when doing the growing and shrinking." Remus said and everyone at all 3 tables started laughing. "What you do to cause that, Fred?" I asked and he looked down and Mione started laughing at that.
"Trying to giantize my toy broomstick, the expansion shot across the kitchen table and destroyed the window." he said and I nodded as we all started laughing at that. "And on both sides of the house, so the sweeper side broke one window and the handle broke the other." George told me and I nodded smiling. "Well now I see why your mother is so exasperated, your stunts are constantly wrecking havoc on the house." Mione said laughing at that remark and he nodded.
"Now this really is more like it, we've never seen you kids this relaxed right now, after getting your new houses." Minerva said smiling and we all smiled. "Well making sure us cubs get put together as friends in the same house comes in handy." I said and Ron smiled at that. "That and knowing you as our teachers as more then our teachers, but adopted family with it." he said and the faculty smiled gently at that remark as we looked at the sextet we were closest to then.
"Dennis and Nigel never met them and know them the way we do yet, Ron." Perry Daniels called out from the Ravenclaw table and I nodded. "And before we're all settled, with the changes, we're acting like normal kids and students, rather then rivals all year." Ron said to him and he nodded. "No kidding but our families are friends, but anyone pick up on the fact our families are well known for what goes on at work?" I asked and they started laughing at that gently.
"Yeah and it's because your father's an auror, if your mother ever wanted to be a teacher, she'd be taking Professor Flitwick's place as our teacher in that. As this continues, and whoever started the exchanges in class get that under control. And before the next backfire turns one of us into the class mascot next." Jimmy Peakes called out from up the table and they all started laughing at that and Minerva nodded with a chuckle as Dean looked at me at that question.
"Speaking of which, when's the Professor getting in?" I asked and Dumbledore chuckled. "He's coming by tomorrow for a final order meeting." Minerva said and I nodded. "Professor?" Leanne asked me and I nodded. "Professor Alastor Mad-eye Moody, he's the auror that did the arrests in the clean up and arrested Crouch junior after the truth came out." I said and she nodded as Dean said it for both of them at that remark as he looked at me and said it gently at that.
"Auror?" he asked and I nodded. "Dark wizard catcher, he's arrested most of the grouping in Azkaban, though slightly eccentric here, it's because, in truth here now. He's been on the sharp end, after arresting one of the guys that nearly killed him, he lost an eye, but he's beyond good right now." I said and he nodded. "So he's a magical version to a cop?" Sally asked me and I nodded. "He's part of the order, my parents belong to." I said and she nodded smiling to that news.
"That's the Order of the Phoenix, it's a secret society, the headmaster created it when they were first fighting Riddle." I said and they all nodded. "Riddle?" she said and I nodded. "Yeah that's his real name, but the epithet is really an anagram for his real name, said naming being Tom Marvolo Riddle, he's a half-blood." I said and they nodded in shock. "Hold on." Sarah said as she wrote it out with her wand and then swiped her wand across it and it re-arranged it then.
And wrote out a sentence and and every 5th to 8th year nodded sternly at the news and reveal. "So he who hates muggle-borns and preaches Slytherin rights is really a Half-blood?" Penny Clearwater said sternly then. "He's the heir of Slytherin." I said to her and she nodded to me. "So him by blood, you by conquest, you just gained a little bit of his powers and you're using that against him to take him out?" she said and I nodded to her gently as I explained that to her.
"Yeah, but I'm giving a demonstration of this later this week at the dueling club's first meeting, so you can see it in action, so you know it was never me now. If someone gets hexed and releases the snake." I said and they all nodded to the news. "And why would you attack one of us for annoying you exactly, or just Norris later on right now, we know it was never you and how can you be in two places at once?" Justin said and she nodded in agreement to that remark then.
"Well just consider this another reason to know these things, and I already created a pride myself, but I'm a friend to all types, but I was your leader now. As a muggle raised, but though I'm a half-blood, I feel more comfortable, with you as my equals." I said and they smiled then. "Because we're just like you, and we're friends, so to us, you're our champion, you lead by example and we follow you." Dean said smiling and I nodded as I said it gently to him at that remark.
"Issues in being a natural leader, you lead and we follow you, but why doubt your instincts, they never steered us wrong and you already told us here now. In truth, in everything that the Death Eaters would try to use to make us doubt your claims and no chance of this happening right now, and we already. In truth had the truth, by way of the books focused on you, and now even the muggle world know you're not lying that's you." Mione said to me smiling and I smiled.
"Well he's the one who released the snake, when Hagrid was in school here, he's the one that killed Myrtle, that's Moaning Myrtle." I said and he nodded. "I take it you know more then we ever did?" one of the Hufflepuff 3rd years called out and I nodded. "Yeah I do, but the reason is I spent all summer doing my homework, but this was a key point in our world, but..." I said and they smiled. "But know your enemy and you defeat them." Justin said to finish it then.
"Yeah but though we're wizards, we try to cling to our ancestral roots, namely..." I said and Dean, Sally, and Justin all smiled. "We're all muggle-borns, so though we love magic, we love our old life just as much, and why let go of it, we're who we are because of it, we can't just let go of our old ways." Dean said to that and Justin, Sally and Mione all nodded in agreement. "Though a half-blood, I love my old life, as a muggle raised still." I said and they nodded gently.
"Though we're mixed in our age group, we got a lot to enjoy in being normal raised or born, but at times it's more difficult in learning it now here. In what killed a family member, we lost a few members of the original order of the Phoenix right now, Mary Mckinnon the elder twins, the Prewetts. And a couple others now, not naming names, it's just some of us lost family, giving us our own reason to join the cub version, but before we do that, got to train."
"But this is why I'm the head of the junior order, and touching bases with my adult peers right now, and I'm the cub version to the headmaster." I said and they nodded. "Anyone ever read the tale of the three brothers, if you put that to modern story-line, what Riddle wanted was power, so the wand now in truth. Severus wanted my mother back, so the stone, and as for me, I'm not afraid of death, and I'm facing the shot willingly." I said and they nodded gently then.
"All the best aspects of the some of the main characters in these books, hey mate?" Roger asked and I chuckled. "Alright don't go there, that was fiction this is about to turn into a constant case of trouble as we just can't stay out of said mystery no matter what happens here." Mione said to him and smiling. "Hey guys, so what century are we in here, the 17th, 18, or 19th century, with our clothes and technology?" Oliver asked and I explained that to him gently then.
"That's the 19th century Oliver, the bathtubs, the plumbing and ways of controlling transportation, it all points at the time when we were going off now. Of, if we were in America, the Civil war and into the early, very early 20th century, which explains the trains still here, they never got around to creating planes. Or boats just yet, so the Titanic, was the big one when we were where we are now in etiquette and manners." I said and he nodded as Justin said it gently then.
"Well during the school terms we're going back in time a good 130 years, and this is nice too." Justin said to me and I nodded in agreement to that. "Gives us a break from cable tv, the internet and what not, we can be normal cubs in the past now." I said and they all nodded in agreement. "But simple time in the past, this is said simple time, we didn't have the internet back in these days nor did we have cable or video games, or even computers now in truth."
"So in these days, we revert back to the time of the civil war now." Mione said and they nodded. "So that's what century we're in, if we were in America, the Civil war?" Ron asked me and I nodded. "Yeah back in those days it was gas stoves, oil lamps, what you got right now in your house, but in this time right now in truth. Nearly half the books in said recreational lists are set in that, as is Treasure Island and Oliver Twist." I said and he nodded to me at that news.
"In which case what we consider medieval methods is what Umbridge prefers to do, but our century is in the time of some of the bigger stories in our library. The Secret Garden, Oliver Twist, Little Women, A Christmas Carol and so on, all of these are in the century you currently take precedence off of now." Dean said and he nodded. "Let alone The Hound Of Baskervilles, Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde, Moby Dick and several others." Sally said to that news.
"Anyone bring in their manual right now?" I asked and they nodded. "The history books are made clear, but back then as muggles they never discovered a cure for septicemia, but they knew the best way to handle exposure, or falling through thin ice right now. The Gold Rush was in this same time, and back then we had Native Americans all over the place still, in certain areas of the United States right now, but our side was officially known as New England back then."
"The reason for that name was because some of our country wanted freedom and independence now, and set sailed in 1607 for a new way of life now. And before encountering our counterparts in that area, the settlement created back then, became known as Jamestown" I said and they all nodded. "Before 13 years later, they arrived at Plymouth and that was the first Thanksgiving with the natives." Mione added and they nodded, as Minerva hid a smile then.
"Pocahontas, Squanto, there's a slight derivation in the truth of that story, but the Powhatans were Pocahontas's tribe, Squanto was part of the Iroquois." she said and they nodded. "How about Sacagawea, she was known for leading the English settlers, Lois and Clark across a mapping expedition?" Justin said from behind us. "Yeah that, and we know some of them were rather famous in the history books, as we came out of the dark ages." I said and he nodded then.
"Don't go into what the late 1600's were like though." Dean said and we nodded. "Why?" Ron asked and I sighed. "Because back then they thought Magic was the act of the devil: demons, not realizing there were two sides back then, wizards and witches that were practicing light magic, what became known now. As Wicca, and the other type, who in time became death eaters, who studied demonology." I said and he nodded in shock at that news then as he looked up.
'Well from that look on his face, he never expected Mione and Harry to give him a definition to how we were seen in those days.' I saw Minerva thinking at that remark. "Well clearly this comes from paying attention in class when you're combining ancient history with our ways of life at the moment right now." I said and she nodded. "Good point, but that was bordering 400 years ago as time goes on it gets more detailed." Dumbledore said and I nodded to that.
"And this goes back to what the man playing Little Bear really meant, he said when he was in his past, he was taking his son on a camping expedition now. So he could be a man when he came back, but at times when you start learning magic or get involved in a war here, you grow up faster then need be right now." I said and he nodded. "Indeed, and this whole thing aged you prematurely right now." Poppy said and I nodded gently as Mione rubbed my back then gently.
"Well we got 4.5 years, let's just enjoying being cubs while it lasts, because as soon as he's back, and we're changing into adults now." Fred said and I nodded to him. "Yeah and with you guys, I can actually be a kid again, so everyone else had a child-hood and I get mine back, but I want to enjoy this while it lasts. But mess with my family, you better start running." I said and he nodded. "Yeah now he's in trouble." Justin said to that and I nodded as Oliver changed it.
"And that's the American Muggles point of view?" Oliver asked and I nodded. "Yeah it is, but like I said, knowing where being a muggle-borns here right now, in truth, this was why, once we realized where being a muggle-born gets you, it's best to separate yourself from this world, before you get in trouble. And for something that you never did, namely..." I said and they nodded. "Being pointed at as the one who was attacking everyone." Poppy said to finish the remark.
"And some people will believe anything, if you just given me a chance to explain this, how could I be in two places at once, but when Norris was attacked now. I was in detention, when Colin was attacked, I was already in the hospital wing recovering from my arm after the match, you, Justin, I was with Hagrid. And finally, Mione and Penny, I was about to go the match, so consensus?" I asked and they all nodded. "Not you, it was never you." they all said together then.
"And the only ones that could really identify who our attacker really was with the bloody snake are now in coma to put it for a better word here right now." Mione said and the faculty nodded. "Alright we get the point and you're right, study the past to create a better future." Cedric said sternly and I nodded. "And why would the leader of the cub order just start attacking everyone?" Hagrid said with a warning tone and they all nodded quickly at that remark then shaking.
"He's very correct, why would you want to be taught by him if he was the one that attacked did it?" Pomona asked sternly to them and they nodded shaking, realizing they both had a very good point. "Who would want to be taught by him after you saw him as dangerous, delusional and attacking muggle-borns, and after I was supposedly killed at the end of the tournament?" Cedric asked sternly and they all paled, realizing they all forgot that part shaking then in shock.
"So before you immediately jump to assumptions, look at the facts here, after he survived the killing curse, and where your relatives didn't and in truth now. Just who wants to be famous for surviving what our relatives never did, and it costing him, one by one, his friends and loved ones, think on that hard now." Dumbledore said sternly and they nodded as we ended the the subject at that as I switched topics then gently at the remark at that as Dean looked at me.
"Hey Harry, what classics, did we have back then again?" he asked and I smiled as Dean exchanged grins with me and Mione. "That's the classics, naming off several is The Haunting Of Hill House, or The Haunting for short, The Strange Case Of Dr. Jekyl And Mr. Hyde. Moby Dick, Dracula, Treasure Island, The Hound Of Baskervilles, Frankenstein and several others." I said and he nodded and Justin smiled as he answered me at the news then.
"Anyone else bring along their favorite books here?" Justin asked and I nodded. "If anyone did, it's about to start a back long in waiting lists and this was before we created a dorm recreational bookshelf for each house right now." I said in response and Minerva, I could tell, was trying to keep from laughing at the direction our conversation took. "Lord, who started this conversation, I've never seen our older students this interested in books here." Flitwick said with a chuckle.
"Did any of you read the Goosebumps novels yet though, as that's basically the kid version to said author, I mention a few weeks ago?" I asked and they nodded. "We did, and that's better then reading said profanity repeatedly in those books, though we never had anyone hex a ventriloquist dummy yet now. And don't try that, or we got what the punch-line is in these books running loose in the halls of this school." Severus said to me and Minerva smiled then.
"That explains next year though, I'm else where, and I'm never alone more then 5 minutes how could I do it, and get back to where I am that fast?" I asked and he nodded. "You can't and as we see you standing in front of us, you can't do it that fast and get back, before we wonder where you are and come looking for you. Simple common sense right now, and the paranoia is getting so bad in this castle, we need to call a relieved of duty order." Poppy said and he nodded.
"To put this gently, Stine is the preteen and teenage version to Stephen King, he's the author of that book turned movie I told you about." I said and they nodded. "And half of his books got turned into movies, our personal favorites were this one and Silver Bullet, one of the adult actors in truth on this one. He's known for working with kids, and his preteen movie of last decade was a baseball movie, he was the child star's mentor." I said and they nodded smiling then.
"So what did Seamus's father mean by Creepshow?" Minerva asked and I explained that. "It's a collection of scary stories created into a movie, the one more liked then the first involves a store mannequin of an tribe chief coming to life, after the nephew of said chief tribe killed it's owner's now. The second involved a black version of the blob, on a lake and four teenagers no older then Charlie and Dora got stuck on the lake, not seeing a sign that said no swimming."
"And this thing was the reason why and the third involved an hit and run that won't stay dead, as for the cartoon analogy here now in between stories. I don't suppose you got Venus fly-traps in this world?" I asked and Pomona shook her head. "He bought a venus fly-trap bulb and then had a run in with a quartet of bullies, after the leader destroyed the one he bought, it was revealed that's not the first one he bought as there were 4 more." I said and she nodded gently.
"This one was considered a case of the first two I explained and why his father said wait till the summer, before you watch this." I said and she nodded. "I get why, so mild sexual content and profanity, or is said profanity more pronounced here with this?" she asked and I sighed as Ted looked at her. "It's a little more hard core, like Silver Bullet is, but his books are full of crude expletives, so again, we're waiting till they're juniors." he said and she nodded in agreement.
"While Pennywise was made for tv and left out all the stuff a really sick teenager obsessed with movies sees as the good stuff." Sarah said and he nodded in agreement. "Yeah made for tv, what my age group and I chose is considered, with us this young, just right in your eyes, after Mione, Justin and I did the editing. So you approve of said movies here, as for movies in this area, it was a case of once you see the truth, you get why the person now in truth."
"Said was so cranky, but baseball at times, here leads to the occasional blow right to the head and at times hits the nerve causing you to go permanently blind." I said and she nodded. "Which explains why no one ever wanted to walk up to the back door to ask for the ball back and try to do it themselves, so if this was you..." I said and Severus nodded. "Why don't you kids ever walk up and ask, we'd get the blasted ball for you." he said and she started laughing.
"James Earl Jones." Dean said and I nodded. "Yeah but think it over, you remember that american football movie that the guy playing Babe Ruth did later on, as he's, in truth. Constantly doing movies our age group finds funny." I said and he nodded. "And that's one more reason to never let our imaginations run wild, as whatever they thought. It was clearly not it as this dog wasn't some over-sized hybrid, but a Saint Bernard/Great Dane mix." Justin said to us at that.
"That was a English mastiff." I said and he nodded. "And those things look like a Great Dane, and a gold version of a Saint Bernard." she said and I nodded. "I see why they saw that thing as a beast or something, as they're letting their minds run wild on that, as for the actor playing the person living behind it. Said it their field, it's rein in the racket, but if you wanted said ball back, why not ask for it." Ted said and I started laughing at that and Mione chuckled at his remark.
"First Jones and now Busey, who's next exactly?" Mione asked and I looked at her smiling. "Ask a stupid question..." I said and Justin started laughing. "And you get a stupid answer, case in point is Curry himself, but our age group loves this actor." Dean said smiling and Severus smiled bemused. "Alright we're not doing that conversation again you three, so that's enough of that." Ted said and our teachers started laughing at that, knowing what we meant by that one.
"Issues in changes in the dormitories, and our cubs are now acting like normal preteens again." Minerva said with a chuckle at that remark. "Our said 6th graders are exchanging a case in books, and it's now getting out of hand in where the direction of this conversation is about to take..., oh no. Students, did anyone bring the adult material, like you said on that horror story author?" Pomona called out and we shook our heads as I said it for all of us at that question.
"No Professor, we're keeping it to the books we dragged up in the tour of the school." I said and the faculty nodded in relief. "And that's the last thing we need, as if our minds are not active enough, anyone reads this rubbish, is going to have nightmares for weeks." Poppy said and Minerva nodded in agreement. "And speaking of which, tell me you didn't check out that horror comedy on the talking plant?" I asked and Pomona shook her head and I sighed in relief at that.
"Well that's enough to give you nightmares if you're botanist, studying plants right now." I said to her and she nodded. "Issues in this case, some of the stuff you hear us discussing, kept to our time frame in that area right now, but the decade said books are really focused here is really when we were dressed. Like we are now at the current moment, so though we dress like this, back in those days it's suits and dresses, when in public." I said to her and she nodded then.
"Mew?" we heard and I started laughing. "Alright how did you get out?" I asked and Crookshanks gave a mew. "Getting out is one thing, getting in is another right now, for the little 'luffball." Hagrid said laughing at that response. "We'll be upstairs after opening reports, so off to bed with you, Mrs. Norris, could you take him up to our dorms?" I asked and she gave me a mew and nudged him and lead him out of the great hall as he went upstairs then and I hid a laugh.
