Chapter 34: School Talks, Gryffindor and First Day Of Classes
"Well if we thought that's bad, try seeing your baby brothers or sisters flying around on said and get seen right now, before your baby brother in truth. Now gets a hold of the parent's wand and does something we got to reverse before a muggle sees it right now." Neville said and I nodded. "How about said toddler, if the cubs get their hands on our wands we're asking for someone to turn a slug or some other mollusk into a monster." I said and she nodded, smiling that.
"Well fortunately at that age, after four years what baby does with said wand we can reverse, before mama or papa handles this right now in truth here. And we give said wand back to said parent." Ron said to that and I nodded in agreement. "That and acting on baby-sitting duty for the parents as they run an errand here, then again, this helps with the new cubs coming in later right now." Sally said to us from further up the table and we nodded in agreement.
"Or doing that at the world cup and your neighbor seeing that." Draco said to me and I nodded in agreement to that. "That's the Roberts's, they live across the street from my uncle, and they were on camping ground duty before the tournament that year." I said and Cedric nodded. "And who in their right minds tries that, when all of you are on duty that summer?" Sally asked and he said it. "Someone who lost what's left of their mind." Kingsley said in stern annoyance.
"And we were all hoping for a 'uiet summer, before the term starts and now this, enough already." Hagrid said to that and Severus, Minerva and Dumbledore exchanged annoyed looks at that. "That's chance hazards in growing up here, but where the baby cubs are concerned, we're on protection duty as you go look into this, if we got a riot starting up over there." I said and they all nodded. "And who set the entree on fire this time." Damian Hancock said and I nodded.
"Yeah well the corn just got popped here, as we have pop corn kernels all over the table right now." Lee said to that and I nodded. "Yeah but you just roasted said chicken even more then it is already." Mione said in response, bemused as we exchanged looks then. "Well at least it wasn't the ham or we're hamming it up." Draco said and I tried to keep from laughing. "Yeah, but I think Mr. Turkey went all to pieces right now." Ron said and our teachers started laughing.
"Yes, and that's enough of the explosion hexes before you destroy something made of glass here and that's enough of the dinner jokes." Severus called out and we all nodded. "Just what happened to him exactly, he's nothing like he was when we were cubs and starting out?" Adam Hancock asked me and I said it. "He and the Marauders, that's my father's gang, buried the hatchet, since the truth came out Pettigrew killed my parents." I said and he nodded in shock then.
"Pettigrew turned on my parents and then framed dad for the murder, after killing 12 muggles at the time here, but after I arrested Pettigrew myself here. He changed and now has a chance to in being a normal teacher, as you see he's more relaxed and he's looking at Quirrell with a warning look right now. But always remember this, though he may look it, he would never hurt anyone, he's reformed death eater, but he and dad look dangerous and they're not."
"While Pettigrew and Lucius Malfoy don't look dangerous and they are." I said and he nodded. "Twelve muggles and your parents and whoever else it was right now, but if that doesn't say he had this in him for years then nothing does, even if he was Gryffindor, he still showed he was capable of murder. And at the age of 15 right now, if what you told us on Professor Snape and your father was true." Angelina said sternly and Adam nodded in agreement to that remark then.
"It's true alright, but he, that's Professor Snape, loved my mother, but you're which version exactly?" I asked and he smiled. "I'm also a muggle-born." he said and I nodded. "Okay, remember we read that lesson in The Outsiders, the Greasers look dangerous and they're not, the Socs don't look dangerous. And they are, but Greaser has nothing to do with it, it's the individual." I said and he and the other muggle-borns all nodded smiling at the remark then gently at that.
"Like not all wizards are dangerous, some of us dangerous, and we've had several Slytherin wizards that are good, others are neutral, and some here now. In truth are Death Eaters, but the world is not divided into good people and Death Eaters, we all have good and evil in us, but the part we choose to act on. Is what's most important, that's who we really are." Cedric said from his table and I nodded as the faculty crossed their arms at the conversation then gently,
"So you understand what I mean, it's not the money, values or family, it's the individual, right now, in which case there is very good story now for us now. As you grow up, you start to see between the lines, but the Socs are always acting like hot shots, because they have a lot of money, well problem with that. Now is that money doesn't mean anything it's values, we had two wizards from outside of Slytherin that went to the darkside, and the second of the two, now."
"Turned on my parents and has my father arrested for murder after killing 12 muggles that year, so consensus?" I asked and Luna's prefect of the following year said it. "It's that money doesn't mean a thing you can't buy your way out of trouble and secondly here, is that it doesn't matter what you look like here, now. Soc or Greaser, there will be consequences for any action, and like the court system in our country, the wizarding world sees it the very same way."
"It doesn't matter your school house, your family or your blood-type, there will be consequences." she said and the order nodded sternly. "There exactly, it doesn't matter what you look like, your family, your house, your academic background, there will be consequences no matter what happens here. And gentlemen I suggest you consider that thought, for those of you that had your fathers pay their way to stay out of Azkaban." Ted said sternly and they paled.
"Professor, are you muggle-born?" Cedric asked and he nodded to him. "I am, and my daughter is a half-blood." he said and they nodded. "Lucky thing I met you now then 7 years from now, huh?" I asked and he smiled at me. "Yeah, and you see me as an uncle now, with Sirius raising you right now, but you're like a son to me and Andy now, and we love you." he said and I smiled at him then as I looked from him to Andy with a look of love and she smiled gently then.
"Start four months early and you learn plenty to see this world with the eyes of child, but you're still gold and you understand how we see this right now." Andy said for both of them and I nodded to that remark as I said it to finish the remark. "Well with you, acting as the legal guardians in stand in for our parents, we're expecting trouble right now. But when even your own parents are said teachers, get ready for trouble." I said and she nodded with a chuckle.
"Andy and I are your parents age cubs, as such, your mother was well liked by all of us, but we as your parents generation see and saw it the way you do. Just because we're muggle borns doesn't mean anything, we all carry magic in our blood, but this bigotry is the reason we got so many problems in this world. As such right now, it's also why I'm keeping you focused on who you were, before you got your letters cubs." he said and we all nodded smiling gently at him.
"Let me take a guess, you know what I'm referring to, as you were born a muggle-born, and to you, to mum and every muggle-born your age now in truth. This is like the Greaser/Soc gang wars in the book?" I asked and he nodded to me. "Yes, that's how we see it alright, all of this talk on blood types, is nothing but a load of rubbish to us, to us, we're all equals in truth, but just because we grew up outside the wizarding world, before we realized what we are now."
"That's no reason to treat us like inferiors." he said to me and I nodded in agreement to that. "I second that." Penny Clearwater said and Mione nodded. "Me too." she said and the others all nodded in agreement to that. "So gentlemen, you get the point, start crossing the line with that word, and you're asking for the telling off from Hades here, as I'm under age. I can't even say the other word, is that quite understood?" I said and they all swallowed hard at my remark.
"And there is an easy way to explain why I've been wanting the defense teacher position for years, it's because out of all of us, I'm the only one that reformed. And enough I can teach you this easily, as what would you say, how is theory supposed to prepare you for what's out there right now, in truth, I'm skilled in it. In truth, I'm a defense expert, my counterpart is Remus next to me, and to us, like you, we've been on the sharp end, I'm part of the Order permanently."
"But of us right now, I'm using what I know to help out here in teaching, I've just been jaded by too much exposure to the dark arts." Severus said and they all nodded. "I may have just come back, but I've seen said dangers in this world, and I know what's waiting to come back, but the devils are in the walls here." I said and Remus nodded in agreement. "And we need to keep that out his hands, before said devil makes a return right now." Mione said in response then.
"The legend on the chamber of secrets?" Justin said and I nodded. "That and if Pettigrew escapes from Azkaban to try and frame Sirius for a second time and there is no way. And in hades that could ever happen, everyone in our world knows what he is." I said and he nodded. "And we know we had it in reverse, but if he gets caught by us, and he's getting the kiss this time right now." Dedalus Diggle said, crossing his arms and Kingsley nodded in agreement.
"Dedalus, how many members are on campus?" I called out and he smiled. "In total we got 20 of us on hand, with the headmaster leaving on order business on a regular basis. But between us and the faculty, we got enough to head off an injury, but take it easy on over extending your powers here right now. Before you lay yourself out, after an injury on protection duty, son, okay." he said and I nodded to the orders as as Mione patted my back gently at that remark.
"Magical exhaustion?" Draco said and I nodded. "Known to happen, I over did it so badly when we did this the last time, I was in bed for a week, before the end of year feast." I said and he nodded to me. "And that's a wizard who never exercised their powers all the time, so it took 2 weeks for his strength to come back. And scaring us out of our wits after Minerva and I got in there at the time right now." Madam Pomphrey said and Dumbledore nodded to that gently.
"And we're dealing in a quiet fall and winter semester, before the spring and summer get started so please dial it down, because the climax of the year is always the big one!" Ben said and I nodded to him. "I will, but year 3, I'm taking a year off, but whoever tries to set up Buckbeak, you better get a good lawyer, because Kingsley and Dora are going to be at the demo." I said and the Slytherins paled, realizing my insurance policy meant they were being expelled.
"Nice thinking, that scratch was an injury that could have been prevented, if you kept your attitude under control, but Harry tamed Buckbeak. And Buckbeak belongs to him, so of course, he's got an easy time right now with him in truth, compared to everyone else. And as Hermione, Ron and the rest of the Gryffindors also practice with him now, but Hagrid now. He's not getting an inquiry, because Buckbeak is the first subject of the class." Minerva said sternly to that idea.
"Year three is going to be half true, half false mister, the true is we possibly got Pettigrew on the loose, we got the dementors here and knowing the truth, now that Peter was always the traitor. But the false is a case of Remus not getting fired from working here, your parents all know what he is and don't care, Buckbeak being tried right now, Harry trying to sneak into Hogsmead. But there are true horrors in his past, once you children don't even understand, so that's enough."
"You leave him be, or so help me, you Death Eater born are all being expelled, I mean it." she said sternly and they swallowed hard at that. "Guys again, this is a me, not a we, just like Lestrange and Neville's parents is a me, not a we." I said and the duo nodded, sighing. "But are you idiots really that thick, Buckbeak is a class 3 creature, easily offended, you're playing. Now with fire, so to prevent that, it's by having the aurors watching." I said sternly and she nodded.
"Indeed, that and have Ben on hand to deal with injuries, as any extra curriculum class there is always a drawback, as this is the most dangerous out of the sextet. The next is apparating, and even give that's potentially lethal, if you don't get it right at the moment. Harry the map is ready." Remus said and the trio and I smiled in delight. "Alright just give it to me tonight, we can make sure he can't get to it, it's always on, but Jeff." I said and Jeff nodded gently to me.
"Ooh good catch there, the cops are at your demonstration with Buckbeak, they saw what just happened and can vouch right now, that he did say never insult these guys. They do just that and he slashes him across the arm, not his fault he's easily offended. You brats keep playing with fire till you get burned, but you're not getting any sympathy. And for deliberately provoking a hippogriff and getting hurt." Jeff said sternly to that and Zach swallowed hard at that news.
"Issues in training, in our world, here as a result of the said conversation coming out now, before it comes out next year." I said and they nodded. "That and you made a very good point, it's not the house or looks, it's what defines you Mr. Potter, of your peers you understand this better then anyone. Because only you had your family life destroyed because of the bigotry, and Mr. Longbottom had his out of trying to do the right thing." Madam Pomphrey said to me then.
"Just goes to show we've been listening to all of you, as adult wizards way too much, Mam." Ron said and she and the other staff members nodded. "That can define it here, and they made a movie out of it, last decade here, but that's like us right now, good and evil, the dangerous ones supposedly look now. Like they're a murderer, it's the innocent ones that you need to watch out for here." I said and they nodded as Dumbledore got the message and wrote said down.
"I really hope he hexed a dvd player to play here, so we can act like we're in a drive in now, with the roof like this." Dean said and I nodded as she and I started laughing at that. "How are we intending to do that, with a Friday double feature after dinner?" Ron asked and I started laughing at that. "Intermission and we're setting up a sort of concession stand against the wall, so movie night every Friday now." I told him and he nodded with a smile at that news gently.
"You create a movie list for them that our teachers and the staff see as appropriate, with us this young, and 25% of us are pure-bloods?" Oliver asked and we nodded. "Here's the movie list." Mione said as she passed him the list and he took a look and smiled at that remark then. "Most if not all of these are kid movies with us this young, but as you grow up, it starts getting a bit more spooky here, with most of you pure-bloods." I said to them and they all nodded.
"I take it these two were a joke on our way life." Ron said pointing out the two movies we chose on trolls and she and I nodded. "That and this one." I said and pointing out the Bette Midler movie and he nodded and Angelina started laughing. "Hocus Pocus, nice name, and that matches perfectly, this kid got turned into an animagus and got trapped like this, he's my age, so these witches must be like the Death Eaters." she said and we nodded as Seamus took a look.
"Well that explains the big screen, it's the size of the entire window right behind their chairs." he said and I lifted my gaze up to the screen. "Whoa, that's wicked, so this is our first experience in watching movies in a movie theater?" Fred asked and I nodded. "Magical version of the lift that sets up the hoops on both sides of the basketball court as some gyms have more the one hoop and the two on opposite sides of the gym are the primary ones here now."
"They bought a tv screen big enough to fill up a wall and then hexed it to triple in size to match the size of the windows against that wall now, so this way. It's big enough to see and I know that's why they had made changes, this is one of the new upgrades to the school for living here on campus." Mione said to him and he nodded as I answered him. "So this is what, a movie theater screen or rich muggle's home entertainment system?" Seamus asked me then gently.
"Consider this home entertainment system, as you're going to get to see a real movie theater, next summer boys, Lavender, Parvati, girls." I said and they nodded smiling, as we heard a shocked remark then. "Most muggle houses who have more then enough money now, a personal viewing room in their houses now, that they can. Instead of going to a theater if they're actors, have their own to watch movies." I said and he nodded to me gently at that remark then.
"Whoa I never noticed that before, where did that come from?!" I heard a student call out in shock and everyone lifted their eyes to the screen that was hanging from behind the staff table. "Tell you later son, but first time to finish up in eating dinner." one of the faculty said and they all nodded as we finished eating dinner, before dessert appeared on the table next, and I grabbed some treacle tart and next to it was a cupcake with chocolate frosting then.
"Well this is first, we normally never get into conversation with the faculty during dinner here." Lee said to me and I nodded. "Another change, we're acting like a family and we're not segregated here, but remember what she said, our house is like our family, she's the head of our pride." I said and he smiled. "Issues in this school though separate houses, we're acting like a real family, and 3/4's of us threw aside the old ways now." Cedric said from behind us and we nodded.
"Indeed 3/4's and there will be a backlash if I heard said word again, students, I mean that." Severus said and we all nodded. "Do I even want to know what said word is?" Sally asked and I said it. "It's the same as calling an African American the N word." I said to her as I explained it to her. "This is really an offensive word for a witch or wizard of non magical upbringing, there are some, like the death eater spawn, who believe they are better then the rest of us."
"Because they are what we call pureblood." I said and she nodded. "That's horrible." she said and I nodded. "It's disgusting." Ron said in response, and Hagrid said it sternly. "And it's codswallop to boot, dirty blood, in these days there is not a wizard or witch who was not half blood or less, for some of the wizards out there. Say Umbridge for one, she's prejudiced against half-breeds here, me, Remus, the Centaurs and mermaids, it's because to her now in truth here."
"She's as bigoted as the Death Eaters, and in the words of your father, twins, she never had a reason to turn into a death eater right now, and to be honest. But if e've never married muggles we'd have died out, it's 'idiculous, to put us to labels, we're all powerful, but just because of family now in truth. 'E're getting labeled and more to the point there is not a spell created that Mione or his mother could not perform." he said and I nodded to finish that remark then gently.
"So 'one of you think on what they call you." he said and they all nodded. "There was a reason why you're so well liked here, it's because you're like a grandfather to us as well." Fred said to him and he nodded. "Yes and I love my students just as much as your heads of house too, so I get protective of you now, watching you grow up. To me, you're like my own cubs." he said and we all smiled as Minerva smiled as she looked at him with affection then gently.
"In which case and I'm saying it now, the more that word is used on this campus the more you lose points, so watch your mouths, and Slytherin table. I mean you in that sentence, so watch your language here." I said and the good members nodded sternly in agreement. "Nice way to clean up the bigotry on this campus Mr. Potter, it's time the truth came out of which lineage owns this castle and where talk like that gets you." Minerva said and Flitwick nodded sternly.
And Severus nodded. "Anyone else feel like we did this conversation before, only in your hut Hagrid?" Mione asked and he nodded with a bemused smile. "And that's the last time I want to see a spell backfire, before I get the reason why it happened in the first place." he said and I tried to hold it in. "Well that's our you right now, Hagrid." I said and he nodded. "And whatever Mione would say, she's right, we're worried about you, so listen to us here right now, 'lease."
"Before you get hurt, in the middle of this, and Sirius is taking his paternal instincts to the max right now, but after what happened next year now in 'ruth. It's we're not doing that again, I've been exonerated, just wait for us, before trying that twice here." he said and I nodded in agreement. "And next year there is going to be no more showing up that way, if the portal closed, before you could make the train." Minerva said and we all started laughing and nodded to her.
"Alright who's bright idea was it to catch the train this way, and not turn on the cloak, before you did it?" Ted asked and I started laughing. "My fault Sir." Ron said and he nodded with a bemused smile. "Well before you try it twice, wait for us to arrive, as if that's not desperate to prevent you from coming to school then nothing is." Madam Hooch said to that. "Tell me about, and that's what I said right now, as that's an accident waiting to happen." I said to her at that.
"Or a trip to Poppy waiting to happen, but I remember that, your father crashed into said tree after someone sealed that portal closed when we, that's your parents and I, were your age." Madam Hooch said and I nodded. "No older then Mum?" Ron asked her and she nodded. "I'm 45." she said and we nodded. "So been teaching here for 20 years?" I asked and she nodded. "Yes and we always have someone showing off in flying practice." she said and I started laughing.
"Let me guess dad did and the broom smacked him in the head for showing off?" I asked and she nodded as my table all started laughing at that. "And I thought that you boys were a handful in truth, twins, his father and his friends were worse." she said and I shook my head at that remark. "Well you can see it already here right now, that though I look like him, I got my mother's personality." I said to her and she nodded as she said it with an amused smile then.
"Point proven after you let Mr. Smith have it, as that's how your mother would react to someone showing off." she said and I nodded. "So was that when the Whomping Willow got put in, when our parents were our age, or just when Professor Snape and Lupin's age group started, Madam Hooch?" Fred asked and she nodded. "Yes it was and it was your in-laws, and there was a reason why we never wanted you going near it, as if you got all the way to the shack here now."
"And it's a trip to the hospital wing waiting to happen here." Poppy said to him and he nodded. "If I got the story right at the moment, but Peter hexed him, told him to go in, and if mum never asked where he went, and dad would be too late." I said and she, Severus and Minerva all nodded. "Yes that's what happened here alright, before our rivalries reached the point of public humiliation here." he said and I nodded as I answered him gently at that remark.
"I get why you couldn't let go of that image of his father, Uncle Sev, but we're beyond bigoted at that age, as we're sophomores, before our egos deflate." Mione said and he nodded to her, "That's the name her father and his mother call me." he said and they all nodded gently to that. "In which case that's what destroyed my relationship with his mother, before I changed back, long story, and one we can go into later, Miss Perks." he said and she nodded to him.
"So you and his father's trio dropped all issues after the truth came out, and you're going passed old school mates to near friends?" Lee asked and he nodded. "Yes, and his father told me, through the map, to take care of him, and I will, what's also in there is Ms. Granger's father is my other best friend now. And I promised them and the Weasley's I'd watch over the trio, and with them, Madam Aggie's grandson, Mr. Longbottom." he said and they all nodded to him then.
"Well that says now is we're about to become a real family here in the school the barriers got dropped, we're acting like their our parents now." Dean said and I nodded. "In a literal truth here, Narcissa sent her twin here to watch over Draco, and Sirius with her, she's my aunt, and he's my adopted cousin." I said and he nodded. "So big sister cousin, big sister, brother and aunt and uncle?" Seamus asked me and I nodded as Draco and I exchanged grins then gently.
"Charlie was Dora's best friend and she's the oldest of the three of us, as Lestrange never got the chance to have children, right now." Draco said and they nodded. "What you want a bet that Lucius sends a letter on this tomorrow after Aunt Cissy says it finally, she divorced him and got her original name back, but the inheritance is between us and Dora." I asked and he nodded. "No bet, I don't doubt he will, but never mind that, I changed." he said to me and I nodded.
"Hey you're my best friend, in this version of our lives right now, you're not jealous either way." I said and he nodded. "And why would you go behind our backs in trying to sign up for the tournament, we're freshmen in high school and that's a death sentence, we don't have enough training." Daphne said and Mione nodded and Ron sighed, and I knew he was in shock that they could see it and he couldn't right then as I looked at Mione then gently at that.
"And that's just what I want to hear from you young lady, you know he would never do this, and why would he, he hates his popularity, right now here. And it's Hufflepuff's year to shine that year, he's just in it to catch our escaped death eater." Andy said to that and the trio smiled at her approval then. "Whoever it might be, though Barty escapes and tries it before he gets unmasked he's asking for the phoenix flame on high here." I said and she and Dumbledore nodded.
"And from us and the headmaster, aside from being my best friend's son, it's been four years and now he crossed a line we're not letting him get away with." Severus said sternly and Minerva nodded in stern agreement to that. "Does he expect to get away with attempted murder after possibly killing his father, he tries it with me and he's out of that potion?" I asked and he nodded. "If he does he's gone totally mad right now." Ted said sternly and the trio nodded to that.
"And when this school is crawling with both ministry workers and order members, he's lost his bloody mind completely now, as we always took it. Your safety, seriously here." Hagrid said to that sternly. "Whatever was in your memories on that right now, that's you and Professor Moody, I can wait to find out right now Headmaster." I said and he and Madam Pomphrey nodded. "Indeed, you're too young to see that right now." she said and I nodded to that in agreement.
"As if Peter's not bad enough, this is worse where Neville is concerned if this was why Rita was possibly at that trial?" I asked and he nodded. "Yes and to put it bluntly, we had the headmaster of Durmstrang arguing I never changed and I remained loyal to 'him' right now, but I've been exonerated here. To pay for my crimes as stand accused right now, I've been training students in potions meant to protect them in case they get attacked." Severus said and I nodded to him.
"And of all the ways for Mister Crouch to find that out it had to be by a death eater and one that was passing off old information to him and to you, Professor." I said and he nodded. "Well you got the truth by the twins showing you said map." he said to me then gently. "And thank Merlin for that, were it not for said map we'd have never found out and he'd never be free right now, as our home lives and our world are changing and turning more promising now finally."
"But what if we never caught it till year three, can you imagine the back-lash it's a wonder he stayed with my family this long, before getting realized now. As I saw that on the map, and then checked his foot, he realizes he got found out and he could kill someone." Ron said to him and he nodded to him. "And I don't care if he thought that map was lying or not, there is no reason to be holding that information back till it nearly kills someone during a game right now."
"But are you trying to kill everyone in the school if Fred never did it that night, he gets found out, he could kill the witnesses and whoever else with them. But honestly here Percy, just where the bloody hell is your common sense right now, it's our job to protect our younger peers, and this in truth to all of us. This is beyond reckless right now, that's why you lost the badge." Oliver snapped and Percy pretended to look down, and I knew he was beyond humiliated at that.
"That's our kid brother and his trio we're talking about, he's my responsibility during the games, and frankly, it's my job now to take charge right now here. But in my honest opinion, now that I carry both, I now have a serious responsibility of protecting him and his friends, from an injury here right now." he said sternly and Alicia, Angelina and Katie looked at me with a look of sisterly love in their eyes as Fred and George looked at me with brotherly love then.
"The seven of us are the main team, and we got back up, were it not for you right now, we wouldn't even be in this mess right now that year." George said sternly and he swallowed hard at that remark. "Uh let's see, he escaped to catch Pettigrew, you had Pettigrew all this time, he broke in and chose the minute all of us were out of the dorms. And he chose the second you were out of the way to go after the bloody rat, we chose to wait till it was safe now finally."
"To pass the map back to him and we do, we find him finally, his name in our dormitory, and rather then where this was leading in that time-line now here. We chose to go a different way on it, and now Harry is being raised by Sirius, we have the money like it said on said most wanted posters and finally, finally now. Is she and Harry are perfectly happy, as they have friends and are not considered outsiders, and we got him sooner then expected." Fred said and I nodded.
"He's the youngest of the main team, as we create back up teams now, and that's why we got the try outs set up right." Ron said and Dumbledore nodded. "I know, but Ron you need to relax, or we're never going to make it, you're my counterpart, but with you this young key point here is focus on your academics. Over the athletics, or the failing grade is going to have you miss a match once I leave here, in 3 years." Oliver said to him and he nodded gently at that.
"And that's what's considered being the favorite big brother, you're about to be normal and you care enough to make sure we make it right now in school." Mione said to him and he smiled at her. "I know, but that's the reason Charlie chose me to take his place before he left for Romania right now, he chose me, to look out for you. You guys, and Fred and George are the wardens, me with them in the case of the team as Harry is the youngest of our team as it is now."
"As it is, summer training took on a whole new meaning right now, but this year, you better stay out of trouble, before that costs us whatever number now. In points there is right now, as a result of getting caught without his cloak and before Peeves does something else to irritate him right now." he said and Minerva chuckled and nodded. "Any problems in the kitchen tonight?" I asked and she started laughing. "No, not this time." Pomona said to me and I nodded to that.
"As for the direction this conversation took right now, we get you're all irritated with him and I understand why right now, but that's why he's in trouble. The twins actions were admirable in protecting you and Harry, that we can understand right now, in protecting the entire house with a madman on the loose. But this is I get why you're all furious at his reckless behavior, that was beyond irresponsible right now." Ted said and Minerva nodded in agreement as she said it.
"I know and I get it, cubs, I understand you're irritated at your brother and you have every right to be, but we can talk in private on that one, and young man, you better control that attitude or you won't get it next year either." Minerva said to Percy then. "Well at least we know we got the truth in reverse, and long before you heard this by breaking rules as your father and I hexed that map to tell the truth." Remus said and I nodded in agreement to his opinion at that.
After finishing dessert then Dumbledore stood up and said it gently. "Attention, could I have your attention please?" he called out and we settled in as he said it to us. "As all of you 1st and 2nd years know, after you took a tour of this school and the school owner updated bathroom arrangements, so we don't have. In truth further fights here, and for those of you who never learned to swim yet either, the bathrooms contain a bathtub the size of a community apartments."
"In resident pools now, but I am saying this again, when one gender is in the bathroom. the door is locked till said age group and gender is done now. And you switch up, your personal house bathrooms, are in the area closest to your dorms right now, so starting now, your dorms are marked by the same patch. The age group for your house bathrooms, is now from 1st to 4th years, your robes including your school robes, we also put your patch on your bath-robes."
"So to you're making sure you use the right bathroom, but again, no one, if it's one gender is sneaking into the showers when the opposite gender is in there. If one gender is in the bathroom, the prefect of said same gender is on duty in there as well, to control things in those bathrooms, before a fight breaks out. If you want to listen to the radio, when showering that's fine, but these bathrooms are not a pool party, is that understood?" he asked and we all nodded to him.
"All prefects are for these times, on guard duty now and on the look out, the 5th to 7th years are sharing the prefect and Quidditch captain's personal bathroom. So for those of you, who wanted that chance, it's a small taste of what is to be expected, but let me make this clear, though you're a captain, or prefect. Or even head boy or girl, you are still a student, you follow the same rules they do, is that understood?" he asked and they all nodded to him.
"You start abusing this privilege, and you lose it till we decide you deserve to get it back, is that clear?" he asked and Percy paled, and I knew he meant him in that remark. "As you've see across the window behind me, and as you know the Potter clan is descended directly from the leader of the quartet in your houses. We have made several changes, until the youngest of you is old enough of to have the added privileges your peers do now, students, as to that."
"We combined some of the current ways as muggles into your lives as newly activated wizards right now, and created a schedule that matches, in truth. Your extended curriculum if you were at a normal middle school right now, as to that your extended schedule in between your normal classes has been added. And with it, now, every Friday and Saturday night, there will be a movie night right now, so your clothes, in your wording, for your physical education classes."
"They are lying with your scarves and gloves in your dorms now, but this class is non negotiable, so no one gets hurts, and in between games now here. You are to take a class meant to help prevent muscle strains, later this week you're also going to see what the added changes are giving you with you. In truth, this young, but keep in mind, the younger you are and the more we're not taking chances in your safety, as I was being serious when I said that earlier."
"Although I know my top students here understand this better then most that the forest is highly dangerous and is off limits to all students, now here. And with it, I wasn't kidding either on the subject of the third floor that door maybe unlocked, but what's behind that door at the other end of the hall is off limits. So students, I hear from the head of my junior order one of you went in there or got caught by the caretakers cat, you're getting detention for a month."
"This is for your safety and the safety of our entire school, but that hall is dangerous, and as to why one of the obstacles, if you read this book, is a Cereberus now." he said and they all nodded as the 10 of us exchanged looks in relief he said that, at least then, we could prevent a repeater now."I assume that you figured out in how Mr. Potter could address me this easily before the year even started?" he asked and the first and second years all nodded and he said it.
"It's because he's the leader of what you're all training to become in later years, you're in a junior version of my order, as you're in training as of right now. So as to that, it's with him in charge of the junior version of my order, he tells me as the leader of the senior Order Of The Phoenix, so if you broke the rules. You're facing being sent home for a week, on out of school attendance, is that clear." he said and everyone all nodded, as he went further then gently at that.
"As you see, there have been a few changes in faculty, taking Professor Binn's place for the entirety of your time here in school is Professor Remus Lupin. And starting this year for those of you entering your third year in extended classes, is Professor Rubeus Hagrid, and finally taking the place here now. And of Professor Burbage shall be Professor Andromeda Tonks, who has extended knowledge of the ways of your current pre-wizard lives as a muggle-born now."
"As you know the Quidditch season starts after Halloween, so for whoever of you want to try out, you can, as the try outs are next week now, students. But keep in mind, there is only one granted exception here, for a first year, as there is junior version to this house championship starting up as well. So if the captains of every team want to choose from who of you who try out for the teams, and starting now, we're starting a back up for each position now."
"In case of an injury or worse right now, your back up is in charge of what position you play, if you get hurt in the matches." he said and we all nodded. "Also starting now since we had a robbery at the bank, I have a few members of my order stationed here in school in case of trouble, but nothing. And I repeat nothing gives you the right to try and stir up trouble in the school, and simply because you're you're furious you were made a fool of here now in front of us."
"Us as your new teachers and your peers, so I hear you tried to get a peer in trouble, because your pride was hurt, and you're the one facing expulsion. Is that quite understood?" he asked and they all said it together. "Yes Headmaster." we all said together and he relaxed. "Yeah now they done it, we got whoever of the order inside of the school so we know who's where right now, the Tonks's being one of them." Mione said softly to me and I nodded to that remark gently.
"Indeed and children, I am not kidding when I say this, but my family is stationed here inside the school as you know, my sister divorced her husband. So the only bad apple in my family is my oldest sister in my triplets." Andy said and they all nodded quickly. "Hey Professor Tonks." they all said to her husband who nodded gently. "Uncle Ted." Draco and I said together and he smiled at the title then as she also smiled gently at that remark then as they nodded in shock.
"What position does he have if his wife is in the Muggle Studies?" Seamus asked and he nodded. "I'm teaching Magical Theory students, so as you know you're going to have us and Remus here for the entirety of your years in school now." he said and they nodded. "This should be interesting as I know we got a music and art class here, in addition to flying now, so we just add the last two, to our subjects in middle school here." Mione said and he nodded with a chuckle.
"That's the extra curriculum, young lady and yes we're doing the rest of your middle school subjects here, but we can go over that later, now shall we?" he asked and she nodded as Dumbledore tried to control his own tone as Remus covered his eyes at that and Minerva nudged him then gently at that. "Alright all of you pull yourselves together children, come on." he said and the entire class all started laughing as we got back on topic then as Severus hid a smile.
"Let me take a wild guess, but as Dora finished school already, she's in auror training?" someone called out to her and they nodded. "And Alastor Moody is training her right now, but aside from us and Professor Lupin, Kingsley Shacklebolt and several others as some of you that were part of the last one. We had several others join and security got a little more entitled, as we're not having fights break out here, simply because you're jealous here right now students."
"Said jealous are because, he can get along so easily with us, when he and his own leadership of his order are talking, in your terms, shop with us as the adult order, understood?" she said and they nodded to her as she went further at that remark then. "Are members of the old order now part of the second one, is that it, in what you're doing here now?" another student asked and they nodded gently to answer him then as I crossed my arms as I looked into his eyes.
"Headmaster, extend said warning, I know that fluffball is here, and like you, we're part of the order, but as the cub version of it." I said and Dumbledore nodded. "And I was not kidding when I said we had a Cerberus here now students, I am very serious, I have my star students, like I have my current prize pupils. Cover that, so I do not want to hear someone even went near the last door, I do and you will be facing in school suspension." he said and they nodded.
Just as I was answering I heard a clink and what sounded like pop top start going off and looked down. "Who hexed that, that wasn't supposed to happen yet?!" Mione said in shock. "Oops, I don't think it was us, I think that was the quarter I did, and we left it here, and someone dropped something on top of it, and it started going off again." I said and she nodded. "Finite incantatem!" Severus called out as he pointed his wand at it and it stopped and we nodded.
"Don't try that with the knuts and whatever number you set it too, or we're going have bronze coins all over the room next." I said and Dumbledore nodded. "No kidding, but if that's not a real eye opener then nothing is, but those coins are the size of a knut right now, and once one gets stepped on or touched. It's going to start going off like this again, geminio incantatem." Ted said quickly and the coin shone once and it stopped completely at that and he nodded then.
"Son check it." he told me and I nodded as I picked it up and nothing happened and they all sighed in relief at that. "Well that's the end of that, but there's a few hundred all over the floor here right now, so this is what American change looks like?" Ron asked and I nodded. "That's the biggest of the coins in monetary values, a half dollar is two of these together, a silver dollar is a metal version of a paper one." I said and he nodded smiling gently at that news then.
"I'm looking at $500 dollars here right now, Professor." Dean said to her and she nodded to the news. "So these are 1/4 of a dollar and there's 2,000 of these all over the floor, after you forgot to lift the duplicating charm over the summer Harry, well let's keep that as a reminder, whoever starts duplicating. Watch what number you set it to, or you're going to have a mess to clean up if you put it on our coins next." Dumbledore said to me and the others started laughing.
"You left that quarter here, someone dropped something on top of it and now it started going off again?" Angelina asked and I nodded and she, Oliver and Alicia all started laughing at that and we nodded. "After I dropped the mop bucket on top of it, it went off a second time here and I'm a squib, so no powers, I decided to just leave it there, so I didn't have this room filling up with silver coins, till your teachers took care of it." Argus said to me and I nodded gently.
"Nice way for said warning system, but do that again, with all three in our money, and it's going to fill up the great hall in 20 minutes, and that's just the coins. But the cups, gold bars and whatever else it's going to be filling up this room till it breaks the door and windows." I said and the order nodded smiling. "Or till we need to get on top of the tables and benches to get out of range of the warzone here." Remus said and Severus tried to keep from laughing as she said it.
"The high leadership of the junior order, please stand up please." Minerva called out and Mione, Ron, Neville, Susan, Cedric, Hannah and I all stood up at that. "Alright there we go now all of you, we're not kidding, we hear from their order anyone of you broke direct orders in leaving without permission now here. Or went near that door, and they or the cat catches you out of bounds, you're on a three strike rule here now." she said and Andy finished that sternly at that.
"If you're wondering why he's able to act like us, in calling us by name, or is acting we're like we're the extended family, the reason now is in truth here. Now is that the order is the extended family to the members that have children, for some of us that's the literal truth, we are family, now I'm his adopted aunt. Draco is my nephew, and the Weasley children are the children of my friends and fellow order members." she said and they all nodded to the news gently.
"Starting up again this soon, before he even comes back, we're on watch in case his followers that bought their way out of Azkaban now in truth here. Now make a dangerous mistake." Ted said sternly and the Death Eater Slytherins all swallowed hard and I knew they got the message. "Our fellow order members and our lost members are the ones that have children here, and they're all suffering the same pains of what he and his army have done to their families."
"But we're not tolerating that type of bigotry on this campus anymore, so even say the word, you're losing points and and with it now you're facing now. In two months worth of detention we're trying to make this school as safe as possible, but don't be deluded, we will be ready to take action if necessary. Do I make myself perfectly clear?" Kingsley asked and they all nodded quickly to him as she finished that remark sternly as I crossed my arms as she said it.
"Indeed, those of us who were part of the last war and order, came back to rejoin us as members of the new order, but we had several graduates. Of the school join in and in addition to me and my family, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Dedalus Diggle, Hestia Jones and Emmaline Vance are here on security duty. But all of them are aurors, so you know what I'm saying: there is no stealing or bullying or there will be consequences, is that clear?" she asked us gently at that.
"Yes Professor, we understand." they all said together as Lee looked at me. "In truth 3/4's of the staff are part of the order, Quirrell is hexed, it's 'him'." I said in a whisper and my table all nodded to me quickly in relief. "'He's' here?!" Lavender said quickly and I nodded. "Yes, but this was trap, he's after the stone, and we just re-enforced the security surrounding the stone right now." Mione said softly and our class all nodded in relief at that news gently at that remark.
"Next to Professors Tonks, I'm pleased to introduce Professor Remus Lupin, he's the new History Of Magic teacher." he said and Remus stood up then. "Returning to the faculty is Professor Horace Slughorn, he's going to be teaching the OWL and NEWT level classes in Potions. All students that aced summer school are exempt from 1st through 4th year Defense. In exchange for dueling training, starting your first defense class." Dumbledore said and we nodded gently.
"As it's rather late, time for the school song." he said as he flashed up the words right above us then as he said it. "Choose your favorite tune, and off we go." he said and we sang out the song as one. "Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hoggy Warty Hogwarts, Teach us something please, Whether we be old and bald, Or young with scabby knees, Our heads could do with filling, With some interesting stuff, For now they're bare and full of air."
"Dead flies and bits of fluff, So teach us things worth knowing, Bring back what we've forgot, Just do your best, we'll do the rest, And learn until our brains all rot." we sang out together, as Mione and I chose the tune to the composer of our movie, and they all smiled and joined in on the opening tune to the movie as we all sang it together and he hid a smile at the way we were able to lead our class so easily then as he looked at me and her gently.
