Big Trouble in Little Waves Part 2

With the speed of a thunderbolt, Naruto loped and bound towards the strange shinobi like a feral beast. Most could get out of the way from the orange, maddened genin. All except one unlucky half soul.
"Oh balls…" Was all the unfortunate shinobi got to say coherently.
As soon as the words left the poor, unfortunate half soul's mouth, he was hit with a hard right cross to the face that sent him flying back. As soon as his body went flying, Naruto roared and dropped down to all fours. Growling, he disappeared in a burst of speed. As the dhampir shinobi started to tumble against the ground, breaking and carving through it on impact, only one thought crossed his mind.
'Okay…! That hurt…!' The half undead ninja thought to himself, his jaw broken and some fangs missing from the blow.
However, as he tried to get up and opened his eyes, he was met with a sight that filled him with fear. The orange clad genin was above him, clawed hand raised for a powerful swipe down on him. Before he could say or even think anything, the clawed hand struck, smashing him down into the ground and cratering it.
"Gagh!" The half vampire cried out in pain from the impact.
Growling, Naruto gripped hard onto his foe's head with his clawed fingers. As the dhampir shinobi grabbed onto the orange clad berserker's arm and tried to wrench himself free, he found the feat impossible. The blonde's arm was like a piece of iron! No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't wrench it away.
At that moment, Naruto lifted the half vampire's head off of the ground before slamming it back down with great force, cracking it further. As the half undead coughed up blackened blood, the blonde berserker pulled his head up off of the ground again before slamming it back down again. And again. And again. Over and over, the blonde repeated the process, cracking the ground further and covering it with ebony colored lifeblood with every impact.
Sakura and Haku could only look on in shock and horror at what was happening. Even Sasuke was starting to look green around the gills at the sight before him.
"Wh… what's going on? I've never seen Naruto act so vicious…" The Leaf's last loyal Uchiha uttered in shock.
Meanwhile, it seemed that the feral Uzumaki had become satisfied with his efforts as he looked down at his foe. Or, rather, what was left of him. Chunks of his opponent's body, including the head, had been pounded into an onyx-colored paste. Snarling, Naruto threw his head back and let out a roar of fury that echoed across the town.
"When the hell does that spell do that much!?" One yelled.
"The boss did it, so therefore he intended it. Now let's beat this kid into a dirt nap before the boss does the same to us for failing him!" The most senior of them roared, charging at the shorter fighter.
Fearful of the blonde, but more afraid of their superiors, two of the others more of them charged in after him. Even if they didn't like their odds, they still planned on doing their damndest to do some damage before going down. The poor, half vampiric fools.
Seeing them charging at him, Naruto roared out a challenge before dropping to all fours and disappearing in a burst of speed, breaking the ground beneath his feet. Reappearing in front of the lead dhampir, Naruto grabbed him by the face, catching him by surprise. The blonde then pushed hard enough to send him flying back with great force. Reappearing in front of him, the berserk Uzumaki grabbed him by the leg, pulled him back, and slammed him hard into the ground. He then lifted the half undead fool up and slammed him back down on the opposite side from him. Naruto repeated this process multiple times until the fool's leg was torn off from the force of the impact, his spine shattered into pieces.
Using the severed leg as a blunt instrument, Naruto growled and began to beat his foe's broken form with the severed leg. Hammering him with blow after blow until the severed limb was nothing more than a paste in his hand. Turning to look at the other two, the blonde genin snarled as he glared at them with eyes full of fury and hatred. A look that made the two's half undead blood run even colder.
Disappearing again, Naruto punched the third dhampir back with enough force to almost send him flying. "Almost" being simply because the blonde berserker grabbed him by the leg as he was to go flying back. As his partner tried to assist him, Naruto swung the dazed dhampir like a blunt instrument, smashing him into the other and knocking him over. Raising his makeshift weapon like a small warhammer, Naruto swung down with great force, bludgeoning the half undead with one of his own. The blood raged Uzumaki continued to slam the first dhampir down onto the second over and over again, not letting up until both were nothing but a black, bloody paste. Snarling, Naruto threw his head back with another vicious howl of feral wrath.
Zabuza and Kakashi watched in shock at what they were seeing as they dodged attacks from the vampiric ghoul. Neither of them could believe what they were seeing. Much more so Zabuza.
"What the hell is going on with that brat!? It's like he's completely lost his mind and gained the strength of ten men or something!" Zabuza said in pure shock.
"How did that fox start to get loose? The seal is too strong for that." Kakashi muttered, unfortunately in the moment a hint too loudly, enough for Zabuza to hear.
"Fox? Wait… do you mean as in the Nine Tailed Demon Fox!? That brat's a jinchūriki!?" Zabuza asked quietly in sheer horror as he dodged a swipe from the vampiric ghoul.
"Keep it the hell done! Last thing we need is everyone and their half-drunk aunt to know about that!" Kakashi growled, catching a blow from the ghoul, and trying to hold back its great strength.
"Who the hell brings a jinchūriki this far away from their village…!?" Zabuza questioned quietly in fear.
"That doesn't matter now! We have to get him under control. Whatever this wretched ghoul has done to him has both him and the fox on the rampage." Kakashi shot back.
"Great! A rampaging jinchūriki AND bijū! That's EXACTLY what I wanted to be dealing with today when I rolled out of bed and started my morning routine today!" Zabuza growled out in quiet sarcasm.
"Shut up and distract the ghoul for me." Kakashi said sternly, forcing Zabuza to take the strain of the Ghoul one on one.
"One distraction coming up, Scarecrow!" Zabuza roared out, massive sword at the ready.
As Zabuza brought his blade down in a mighty axe cut, it forced the ghoul to avoid the blow. Successfully forcing it back, the demon of a man got himself between the ghoul and his one-eyed acquaintance. This allowed Kakashi to turn in the direction of Oda, who was watching Naruto with interest and confusion.
"Oda-san! Do you know what that ghoul has done to my student…? If so, how do we reverse it?" Kakashi questioned urgently.
"Rest easy, Kakashi. Moon's Frenzy cast at that potency will only last a couple more minutes now. Then the boy will be so tuckered out that…" Oda explained calmly, before being violently cut off by Kakashi.
"We don't HAVE a couple of minutes! If we don't do something soon, we'll ALL be in danger…!" Kakashi explained as best he could without giving away any details.
"Kakashi, is there something you're not telling me here?" Oda asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I can't tell you in front of the genin. I'll explain it later when we're alone." Kakashi replied, not wanting Sakura or Sasuke to know Naruto's secret just yet.
"Very well, Kakashi-san. I shall hold you to that. Now let me focus. Enchantments of the mind can be quite fickle things indeed." Oda said solemnly, before closing his eyes and reaching out his right hand as Kakashi went back to go help Zabuza.
To the outside world, Oda looked as if he froze in that odd pose. Beyond the visible human eye, however, Oda was channeling and focusing. Naruto's erratic and senseless behavior was making him hard to track even with ethereal senses, and even harder to pin down the spell afflicting his mind. Finally, as Naruto ran down the final two enemy shinobi, he stood still enough to give him his opening.
'Okay, boy. Time to come to your senses.' Oda thought and began to channel energy.
Soon his hands glowed with a clear, ethereal energy, and various runes on his body began to glow fiercely. As he began to perform strange hand symbols, of a kind no shinobi could understand, the titan king sensed something else. A strange, yet potent energy leaking off of Naruto. It was as if he wasn't the only one who went berserk. However, such trivial things could not hold him back now, not for Naruto's sake.
"Power word: Dispel!" Oda roared; his voice carried with a mystical power towards Naruto in a great shockwave.
The ground shook in the mystical chant's wake, rippling through everything as if it was not there. As Naruto finished off the two remaining shinobi, slamming in pieces of broken wood through their necks, the mystical wave hit him. Naruto let out a shrieking roar of rage and agony, as sparks of moonlit energy arced off him like lightning. Finally, after what felt like a solid minute of Naruto piercing the heavens with his thunderous bellows did he go quiet. The chakra stopped leaking out, and he dropped to his knees. Finally, he fell face first onto the ground unconscious.
"Well, he'll be out for at least a day." Oda sighed.
Meanwhile with the Hounds and Tyrant King
The ground shook under each mighty hammer blows the twin titans unleashed. Each bite, bash, and roar seemed to threaten the ground's stability. Around the two swirled the pack of ninja hounds, using every angle and opportunity to their advantage. However, the Vargulf dug in its heels and stubbornly fought back, determined to sate its gnashing hunger.
The ninja hounds used their smaller size, superior agility, and ability to enhance their speed with chakra to dodge around the Vargulf's slashing claws and gnashing fangs. They jumped, kicked, and bit as they tried to wear down the massive beast, backing up the Tyrant King as it lashed with its tail, bit, and smashed its head into its vampiric prey. However, no matter what they did, they couldn't seem to put this beast down.
The Vargulf let out a shrieking roar as it tried to push the Tyrant King back while gnashing and biting in an attempt to kill the dogs. Unfortunately, the two fronted assault kept it from being able to do much. Charging forward with all its power, the Tyrant King slammed headfirst into the bat-like vampiric monstrosity. With the force of its charge, the massive thunder lizard rammed the Vargulf" through several houses, the large, sharp pieces of wood digging into its back as it tried to slow the sparsely feathered reptile's advance.
Finally, managing to stop the charge, the Vargul pushed the Tyrant King off and swatted it across the face hard with a clawed hand. The blow disoriented the thunder lizard and slashed its face, drawing blood. As the sparsely feathered lizard stumbled back, the massive, batlike monster grabbed hard onto its neck and bit down with all its might. Roaring in rage, the Tyrant King charged forward and began smashing through more buildings to weaken it further. As the Vargulf let go, its smashed its hand across the reptilian king's face, weakening it further. Seeing its chance, the batlike monster charged into the feathered reptile and smashed into it, knocking it over.
Pinning its fallen prey down with clawed hands, the beast prepared to bite into its foe's neck and end things. However, before it could, the ninja hounds it had neglected rallied and attacked. They began to bite and kick at the rage fueled bat monster, even resorting to digging to kick dirt into its eyes to blind it. Shrieking in annoyance, the Vargulf released the Tyrant King and stumbled back.
"Haku, get the other two in there and help the hounds!" Oda ordered the young man.
"I mean no disrespect, Oda-sama, but are you mad!? We can't fight that thing!" Haku replied in disbelief.
"Don't worry, dear boy. That just means I'll have to even the odds." Oda answered with a smile, pulling out one of the scrolls he wrote earlier that day.
"That's a… no… it can't be!" The ghoul said in shock as it suddenly realized what was in Oda's hand.
"Lore of Beasts: Wyssan's Wildform!" Oda yelled, unfurling the scroll before it glowed amber, and burnt up in his hands.
Amber winds began to swirl around Oda, growling like hunting hounds on a chain. Oda performed strange, primitive looking hand gestures, before slamming an amber wind coated fist into the ground. A shockwave of the energy went out in all directions, infusing itself into his allies. Each one of them felt their blood practically catch fire with adrenaline. Surging through them a power of primeval origin, they felt their muscles strengthen and their bones harden like steel.
"Now then dear Haku, do please assist our canine allies. Beast magic affects them a lot easier, but even with their boost, I doubt it will be enough. Sasuke, Sakura, you help too." Oda said simply.
"I've never felt strength like this before…! I feel like I could take on a hundred men!" Sasuke called out in disbelief and amazement.
"So do I! Don't just stand there, Sasuke-kun, Haku-san! Let's go!" Sakura called out before rushing in at the Vargulf.
"Don't get reckless Sakura-san!" Haku said, rushing off after her.
"... Why am I suddenly feeling more attracted to her now?" Sasuke asked in confusion before rushing off after the two.
Leaping up into the air, Sakura raised her fist. Swinging down with all her might, she punched the Vargulf as hard as she could.
"SHANNARO!" Sakura roared out as the punch impacted the Vargulf on the top of its skull, smashing it into the ground and cratering it beneath her as the two boys looked on in shock and the beast shrieked in agony.
"... I don't know whether to be afraid or turned on right now." Sasuke simply stated.
Back with Kakashi and Zabuza
Zabuza, Kakashi, and the ghoul all stared in surprise at what they had just seen. They just saw a little, pink haired twelve-year-old genin punch a Vargulf with enough force to crater the ground. At that moment, the ghoul was starting to not like their odds.
"Wow, Kakashi. What have you been feeding that girl back in Konoha?" The Demon of the Hidden Mist asked his… compatriot? Ally? Associate.
"That wasn't anything from the village. Its whatever enchantment Oda performed on us." Kakashi said, testing his new strength out a bit with some air punches.
"You're welcome!" Oda called out.
"If that's what it can do to a brat like that little girl, then…" Zabuza started to say as he trailed off, he and Kakashi coming to the same realization.
As soon as they did, both masked men smirked, a vicious gleam in both their eyes. Biting onto his bandages to let them loose, Zabuza revealed his sharp toothed grin as he licked the blade of his Kubikiribōchō.
"Annihilate the ghoul." Kakashi said, and Zabzua wasted no time in enacting said wish.
Charging forward with shocking speed, Zabuza slashed with his massive, cleaver-shaped sword and sliced off one of the Ghoul's arms. It went through as easily as a hot knife through butter.
"AAAAAAARRRRGGHH! You dare believe that you can kill me with such a pitiful blade!?" The Vampiric ghoul roared in agony and rage.
"Could be worse. Could be a stake to the heart. Speaking of which." Kakashi said, pulling out a kunai and twirling it.
Charging up his kunai with his signature jutsu, the blade was charged with Lightning Release chakra coating the Copy Ninja's hand. Rushing forward, he sliced off its other arm with just as much ease as Zabuza had before him. Before the ghoul could even scream, the two jōnin sliced off his legs.
"SSSSSHHH! It's a flesh wound, you meat bags!" It roared at them, snarling fiercely.
"Kakashi, catch!" Zabuza called out, tossing his blade in the air towards his temporary ally.
"And my back is gonna hate me in the morning." Kakashi muttered as he caught it, only for it to feel as heavy as a kunai in his hands.
"Ready?" Zabuza called out, rearing his foot back for a kick on the limbless ghoul.
"As I'll ever be!" Kakashi yelled back.
Kicking with all his might, Zabuza launched what was left of the hissing, screaming, and roaring ghoul at his Konoha compatriot with all of the force of a cannon shot. Swinging with all his might, coating the Kubikiribōchō in his Lightning Cutter technique, Kakashi easily sliced the ghoul in half, killing it instantly.
Back with the Genin, Haku, and Ninja Hounds
As the great vampiric beast sweeped its great arm in front of it, hounds and genin got out of the way. This gave an opening as needles flew into its face, blanketing it with stinging pain. Roaring in rage, it slammed its fists down into the earth, causing a quake to rattle the bones of those in its vicinity. This however gave Sakura and Sasuke an opening, charging in and smashing its knees with a brutal punch each. Forcing the beast's hind legs back several feet, it reared up and tried to crush them.
This attempt was thwarted by Kakashi's entire pack, ganging up in a compact formation, slammed into the beast's chest. Its immense mass and top-heavy nature worked against it as it fell through another building with a great crash. A moment of silence hung as the dust began to settle, before it leaped into the air with eerie agility for something so big. With no other option, the shinobi and hounds were forced to brace and catch the great maul-like fists as they forced them several feet into the ground.
The great bat abomination lurched its thick neck and wide jaws back, ready to bite down on one of the two groups. Zeroing in on Sakura, Sasuke, and half the Ninja hound pack, it's jaws dove like a viper strike. Great fangs were inches away from them before the dark devil was violently halted. To everyone's surprise, great coiling masses of water lurched the creature back, forcing it to use its own immense strength to fight back.
"Kakashi sensei!" The genin yelled out.
"Zabuza-san!" Haku yelled out.
"This thing is heavier than it looks. Damn thing needs to go on a diet!" Zabuza grunted, trying to keep the ravenous titan at bay.
"Well, I hope you're low carb, then…" Kakashi said, wide eyed.
"The hell do you… oh…" Zabuza said, only to look in front of him as well.
The monster had turned its sights on them. Rage maddened; feral eyes burned with the fires of an inferno. Letting out a thunderous roar, it thrashed hard against its watery constraints, trying now to get at the two men and feast on their chakra laden frames. The great noise, however, kept everyone from noticing as the Tyrant King's unconscious open eye began to stir. A hint of amber energy flowing through it like a bolt of lightning.
Slowly, but surely, the behemoth began to get up and regain its footing. The Vargulf let out a great roar of rage at humans restraining it. To everyone's shock, the thunderous roar of the primeval king rang out once more in defiance. The Vargulf looked between the jonin and the thunder lizard, trying to gauge the bigger threat.
"Restrain it now!" Kakashi yelled at the shinobi and hounds under the beast's fists.
With hands and jaws, the eleven trapped gripped the bony fingers of the titans hand. Roaring in further rage, it thrashed with all its might and rage. However, it wasn't enough to break the combined grip of the shinobi. With its energy draining and restrained condition, the Vargulf didn't pay attention to the great scaly bruiser to its left. Seeing its opening, the Tyrant king surged forward.
Jaws agape, muscles straining, and thunderous footfalls propelling it forward, the Vargulf had no time to react. Biting hard into the back of its head and start of its neck, the great pickaxe teeth sunk deep into flesh and bone. Dark magic surged into the Vargulf, as it tried desperately to handle the crushing force of the blow. Straining its neck and putting its colossal body weight into it, the Tyrant King violently snapped the Vargulf's neck to the right. In that moment the struggling ceased, and it began to go limp. Finally, its body could take no more, and it fell forward into the dirt, undeath no longer carrying it any further.
"Well done, everyone!" Oda roared, clamping greatly for them.
"No thanks to you." Sasuke grumbled.
"Consider it a valuable experience. You're a better shinobi now for doing this, Sasuke-san." Oda said with a smile.
"... I hate it when you're right." Sasuke replied with frustration.
"Alright. Kakashi, Zabuza. Let's get them out from under this thing quick." Oda said simply, rubbing his hands together.
"Please do. This thing reeks of death and gore!" Sakura complained.
"Better than being near the other end…" The pug amongst Kakashi's ninken replied.
"One more word and you'll find out." Sasuke and Sakura said in unison.
The three adults and the great lizard easily moved the timber sized arms off their trapped comrades. After quickly dusting themselves off, Haku collected Naruto and the Tyrant King slowly began to drag the corpse of the Vargulf with it. As the rest slowly filed their way back to the bridge builders house. All except Kakashi, who felt a large and firm hand grip his shoulder.
"Kakashi." Oda's stern voice said from behind him.
"Yes Oda-san?" Kakashi asked, turning around to see a very displeased Oda looking at him.
"It's clear you and I have a few things to discuss. And I don't like having things kept from me." Oda said to the Jōnin sternly, giving Kakashi a hint of the nervous sweats.
