Luna was happy to spend time with her father, but was greatly missing her bondmates. The benefit of being a Lovegood though was the great acceptance that was unique to her family. During one of her ancestor's journeys, they helped out one of the Fae, when they were still powerful and commanded respect and fear. Her ancestor was blessed with acceptance and Sight.

"Oh, little moon, I'm so glad to have you back. I'm sorry for all the birthday's I missed, or did I?" Xeno asked his daughter.

"You celebrated, Daddy, you didn't miss a single one," Luna reassured her father, "Your gifts always made it on time too."

"Oh good. I know you're much older than when I last saw you, and I know you probably can't talk about it except with your bondmates, is there anything new I should know about you?" he asked.

"Not that I can think of, Daddy. The only difference is that I miss them. Before I missed Hermione a lot, but she came to save me, and now we have Harry," she soothed.

"Her Eye is a bit closed, no?" Xeno asked gently.

Luna gave a slight smile instead of the bright ones she usually gave him, "She was raised as new blood, Daddy. Her family wasn't gifted like ours. However, she's learning wizarding custom as best as she can, and she absorbs knowledge faster than even mummy did."

"I didn't mean to offend you, dearest," her father responded, "I know a small ceremony that would help, if she were willing, but I have the feeling you love her as is."

Luna then beamed at her father, "I do! Hopefully when we go to Sweden she'll be allowed to come with and we can bring her to one of the alcoves and she can hear oral tradition for herself."

What went unsaid was that she would only be allowed and a non-issue because of their bond. Without the bond, Luna would probably never be able to bring her mates with her to the areas she was allowed to go because of her gift. However, because their souls were bonded, they would be seen as an extension of herself.

"Do they know?" he asked gently.

Luna shook her head, "I want to tell them, but I'm going to wait. Not much longer, but I know Hermione will have to settle into the new family dynamic and I don't want to overwhelm her."

"Maybe you're not giving her enough credit, little moon. She did just one day find out she was a witch and was suddenly part of a new world with new customs," Xeno nudged his daughter.

Luna sat in silence while she thought about it and then nodded, "You're right, Daddy. I forget that Hermione didn't have the pleasure of knowing she was a witch and without knowing what was happening was magic, she would just assume she was weird or something bad was happening to her, and she had to deal with it all alone…"

"I take it her parents weren't very parental?" he asked.

Luna shook her head sadly, "Hermione has a lot of trauma, just as much as Harry, and she hides it pretty well."

"So Miss Rose…?"

"Miss Rose was under a spell by the Headmaster that prevented her from loving Hermione, so it'll be like getting to know her mother all over again, and she never knew Professor Snape as her father," Luna answered.

Xenophilius' heart clenched for his daughter's bondmate's family. To not be allowed to love his daughter would be akin to not being allowed to breathe. To hurt that bond went against everything that was natural and everything they stood for.

"Did the Headmaster do something similar to Harry's family?" he asked.

Luna gave the question some thought before answering, "I don't know, but I do know that he sent them to his mother's family and they hate magic. They took it out on him, so Harry was more willing to dive head first into our world and culture than Hermione. The magic world had total acceptance of Harry, as opposed to Hermione where she was met with walls and prejudice that Harry would never see outside of dark users. I know some of that prejudice will stop, now that she's been claimed and acknowledged as a Snape, but the events will still stick with her."

Xeno nodded, understanding the picture more.

"I invited them for Easter," Luna said shyly.

Xeno blinked, "Not for the rituals, I assume. Your body is much too young in my opinion."

"No, Daddy. Not for some years to come. We agree that we're physically too young for that, but I would like to start spending the holidays with them," Luna reassured her father some more, "Hermione doesn't even want to snog me until I'm a little older, but is fine kissing me."

"And Harry?" Xeno asked.

"Agrees with Hermione, and nothing intimate will happen for a while," she answered.

"Then why not send them an owl and we'll show them how to color eggs," Xeno said.

"Oh goodie! I love pysanky! It's the best way to dye eggs!" Luna cheered as she rushed to go get parchment to write her bondmates a letter.

"I'll get the beeswax," Xeno said, standing up.

Luna rushed to kiss her father on the cheek before writing the letter, knowing it was a short trip to one of the families that kept bees.

"Hermione, welcome to Spinner's End," her mother said.

"I apologize that it's not in a better area, but I inherited it from my parents when they passed and as I live at Hogwarts 10 months of the year, I never saw a need to get a better place," Severus threw in.

"There's a room for you, we didn't color the walls, but your father said you could pick a color and he wouldn't mind changing it for you," her mother continued.

"You, didn't decorate it without me?" Hermione asked, her voice quiet and timid.

"No darling, I did that once, and it wasn't fair to you in the slightest. It's your room, so you need to be comfortable in it. I figure we could both have a fresh start here," her mother answered.

"So, i-if I want lavender or violet walls with a teal trim?" Hermione asked.

"If you want violet with teal, then that's what you'll have. And your father reassured me we could do the same for the wood easily instead of painting it."

"I would like that," Hermione admitted smally.

Severus however was seeing a different side to his daughter, one that wasn't as self-assured as she presented, and it panged a small part of him. She was reminding him of himself with his own mum while she was alive and his father was out.

"So, what do you want? You could even do something fun like shapes or flowers!" Emma asked, encouraging her daughter.

Hermione blushed deeply, "I want teal and black thin diagonal stripes, that are about 2 centimeters thick with a silver trim."

"You remember that magazine with the wallpaper?" Emma asked with a happy crooked smile, it was the same magazine she had picked the rose cabbage wallpaper from.

Hermione nodded.

Severus however sighed deeply as though put out by the thought of color in his home, "I suppose the 80s were only marginally better than the 70s."

"I didn't know you kept up with the trends Sev," Emma bantered.

"I do happen to look at the rare magazine while I wait in queue," Severus said rolling his eyes.

Emma beamed at the dour man, "So you'll do it?"

"Of course, I will you, quixotic woman. Hermione, let's go upstairs to your room and you can direct me as I use colovira for you," he said as he held his wand in his hand.

Hermione followed the imposing man, leaving a bit of space between better. When they entered the room Hermione was humbled, it was a little bigger than her old room, but it already had a vanity, a dresser, a bed, and a throw rug with 2 windows. The walls were yellow and bare, while the trim was white and clean.

"I would recommend keeping the blinds closed, but you can turn the tilt wand to let in light. This house does have electricity, so I tend to keep wand magic to a minimum to prevent short circuiting," Severus explained.

Hermione nodded in understanding.

"Now, you said teal with black stripes?" Severus asked.

"Yes please, with gold trim!" Hermione said.

"I thought you said silver," the man raised a brow at his daughter.

Hermione blushed, "I did, but I wanted to see what accent was better."

Severus merely rolled his eyes, knowing even grown women were prone to changing their minds on a knut. With a few swishes and pointing, Hermione's room looked like it popped out of a magazine.

"I'll do silver trim on the left window sill and gold on the right, metallics are a bit trickier, but not too much so, it involves a little transfiguration," he explained to her as he then followed through with his words, "Of course you should know they're not actually silver and gold, but they will maintain the appearance."

Hermione nodded in understanding, or else wizards would try to counterfeit galleons and she knew goblins would riot.

"Which one?" he asked her.

"I like both, but gold definitely," Hermione nodded.

"And your furniture?" he asked.

"Dark wood, espresso, the magazines call it," Hermione answered.

Severus nodded as he knew what she was talking about thankfully and a few more swishes of his wand.

"Throw rug?" he asked almost pained.

"The Pepsi symbol?" she asked.

Severus merely raised an eyebrow at her and did so, unsurprised that it looked right at home.

"I don't like to color cloth, so for your bedding we will just have to buy something new. They sell the fabric at a fair price at Madam Malkin's."

"Cotton?" she asked shyly.

Severus looked at her, "Of course. It's for sleeping and comfort, you can hardly get a good night's sleep on wool."

Hermione smiled, "Thank you, sir- I mean f- Dad." Hermione took a breath after correcting herself, "Thank you, Dad."

"You are welcome, Hermione," with a nod, Severus left his daughter to find Emma standing in the hallway by her door.

Emma raised her eyebrows at him to ask how their interaction went.

Severus gave her a small smirk and nodded. Emma beamed at the dark wizard and kissed him.

"Good, let's go make dinner," she said happily.

Harry was surprised when they arrived at a flat in London. Someplace entirely new.

It was wide open space with 3 doors across from the entrance way. The walls were covered in red and gold damask wallpaper. There was a black highbacked chair, a black couch, and a fancy looking antique glass coffee table with gold metal pieces. There was a fireplace, but it had no fire. The windows were big and let in a lot of natural light with a view of what looked like a park.

"Where are we, Sirius?" Harry asked.

"57 Kennel Lane," Sirius answered with a wide grin.

"Kennel Lane? Seriously?" Harry replied.

"Of course, I'm Sirius, I'm always Sirius!" Sirius responded.

Harry laughed and rolled his eyes good naturedly, it was great having his godfather back.

"Is it connected to the floo?" Harry asked.

"No. After the last war, with how many people ended up trapped in their homes because of the floo, I decided against it in the flat. The main property will still have it, as that's where I'll be conducting all House business with other families. The wards there are extremely tight and quite formidable honestly. I got 3 new house-elves to take care of the properties, Kreature was… retired."

Harry had an idea of what happened to Kreature, remembering the old stuffed heads in his previous life and didn't ask. While there was no lost love for Kreature, Harry was slightly disturbed by the news for some reason. Sirius however picked up on it.

"Before I retired Kreature, I did hire some cursebreakers through the goblins to comb the properties, and they got many dark things. One of the things was a necklace Kreature had. They were able to cleanse it somehow and Kreature was so overcome and thankful he asked to be retired the old way now that his last task was done."

"His last task?" Harry asked, having a feeling it had something to do with the horcrux.

"Before my brother died, he asked Kreature to cleanse or destroy the evil in that necklace. Cursebreakers said they'd rarely come across something as dark as it and needed to bring in a few goblins. They managed to cleanse the object and charged me a million galleons, saying it was an affront to nature. Black tradition for when you retire a house-elf is, well, you decapitate and stuff it's head, and putting it on the wall so it can watch over the Blacks for all eternity. So, because it meant so much to the little tosser, I put the necklace on his head after it was placed on the wall," Sirius explained.

"I made sure I was able to get a few house-elves before that though. Besides, it's not like I can really cook, and I don't have much time to clean, or do any of the domestic work, so I just got house-elves who could," Sirius said, "I'll introduce you."

"Nessie, Polly, Trinket!" Sirius called, "Present yourselves."

The elves all popped before Sirius and bowed their heads with a quick curtsy. They all had short hair dark hair and pointy noses, much like Dobby. They looked healthy, neat in their tea towels, with the Black house crest embroidered on their towels.

"Master Sirius, be calling?" one spoke up.

Sirius nodded.

"Please, one at a time, introduce yourself to my godson, Harry Potter."

Harry waved awkwardly, "Hi?"

"It is an honor to meet you Master Harry Potter, I bes Nessie," Nessie answered. She was on the far left and curtsied at Harry.

"Please, Just Harry will do," Harry answered, "All of you. It's a pleasure to meet you Nessie."

"Oh, Young Master bes so kind!" Nessie said with tears filling her blue eyes.

"I bes Polly, Master Harry," Polly said with a curtsy, in the middle.

"Pleased to meet you, Polly," Harry replied.

"Young Master is pleased meeting Polly? Young Master Harry bes too kind to Polly." The house-elf muttered; her voice caught with unshed tears. She blinked back tears from her green eyes.

"I is being Trinket, Young Master Harry," Trinket said with her own curtsy from the far right.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too, Trinket," Harry said happily.

"The young master is happy to know lowly Trinket?" Trinket asked surprised, her big brown eyes filled with happy tears.

"Of course! I'm friends with Dobby the House-elf, and you're taking care of this old dog for me." Harry replied with a grin.

With that tidbit of information Sirius thought he understood why Kreature's retirement bothered his godson.

"Trinket is the Head Elf now; she makes sure everything is done and taken care of. Cleaning, cooking, keeping the house stocked, everything that comes with domestic care and upkeep. If you need something we don't have, mention it to any of the elves and Trinket will make sure you get it soon." Harry saw Trinket hold her shoulders a bit higher with the statement, "Nessie and Polly help Trinket and if you need to call for an elf, I would recommend them. Trinket is usually too busy managing the household that even though she would come if called, I don't want you to bother her too much." Sirius explained.

"Would I be able to get to know them better?" Harry asked carefully.

Sirius looked surprised, "If you'd like. I wouldn't mind giving them each an hour a day to get to know you and vice versa."

"It's not just me, but Hermione and Luna too. They'd want to know and meet Polly, Nessie, and Trinket too. I want to be able to answer any questions they have," Harry explained.

"Oh, for your girls!" Sirius exclaimed, "How did that happen anyways, pup?"

Harry blushed and looked at the house-elves.

"Elves, you're dismissed." Sirius said and then raised an eyebrow at his godson.

"So?" Sirius pressed.

"Hermione and Luna kissed, then later Luna kissed me, and eventually Hermione was too upset to think rationally and kissed me," Harry said as though that explained everything.

"So, Hermione and Luna were together and then Luna kissed you too?" Sirius asked.

Harry threw his hand through his hair, "No! I'm bad explaining this."

"Take your time, pup, I won't rush or judge you." Sirius reassured him.

The wizard did notice that there was a full tea service ready suddenly. Harry clearly made a great impression with his elves.

"Take a seat, I'll pour you a cup," Sirius pressed gently.

Harry sat on the couch while Sirius sat on the chair.

"So, tell me what happened, I know it's extremely personal, so I won't ask for too many details, but I'd like to know how my godson got two soulbonds."

"I can't go into detail, but Hermione and Luna have, had? A thing between the two of them. Well, when Hermione saw Luna the first day back, she was so excited she dropped her bag and kissed Luna. A bag that had books in it. And they glowed gold and green," Harry explained, "Then later I had gone with Hermione to the owlery, to keep her company and Luna was there and she skipped over and kissed me," Harry blushed bright red, "It felt nice, so I kissed her back. Hermione said we also glowed. Then after the boggart lesson, Hermione was so upset she pulled me close and kissed me after I promised I'd try not to die on her."

"Boggart lesson?" Sirius asked.

"Hermione's boggart was of me and Luna being uh creatively murdered. And when the boggart tried to say her name, something snapped in Hermione and her riddikulus was so strong that the boggart was bleeding after it had slammed back into the wardrobe it was in. It shook her pretty bad, and after I was able to reassure her that me and Luna were fine, she grabbed my shirt and pulled me in and kissed me. Professor Lupin, said that we glowed silver and gold." Harry said.

"I feel like there's a lot you're leaving out, but you already said you couldn't go into detail. Are you happy with them?" Sirius asked.

"Yes, I am very happy with the both of them," Harry affirmed.

"Good, that's all that matters pup is you're all happy and healthy," Sirius nodded and took a sip from his cup.

"I know I already said it in a letter, but I'm really glad you agreed to let me be part of your life pup."

"Me too, Padfoot, me too," Harry said with a smile.

"By the way, we were invited over for Easter with the Lovegoods. Luna invited me and Hermione, so I think Hermione's parents will be there too," Harry started.

"I still can't believe Snape procreated," Sirius said with a face.

Harry pursed his lips and thought hard before speaking next, "Hermione is still a little self-conscious about that. Also Ron Weasley won't stop giving her crap for it. So please keep those kinds of opinions to yourself. She is one of my bondmates."

"You're right, pup. I apologize. I will do more to bury the old hatchet, especially if we'll be seeing them often and on holiday. Hopefully less when she's older, but I'm sure you'd include all the family they'd like to keep them happy," Sirius responded.

"I would," Harry said with a soft smile before looking into his tea cup, "I would do anything for them. I know they'd do the same."

"Good. I'm happy for you, pup. Maybe we can write to see if they want us to bring a dish. Tomorrow we'll go shopping for some nice robes and muggle clothes. We can get a few sizes in the muggle world for now and in the future, since soon you'll be growing like a weed!" Sirius suggested.

"Sounds great!" Harry said with a grin.

He would probably hate the shopping, but it would be the first time he'd get to shop with his godfather, ever, and the young wizard was really looking forward to the experience. Doing something normal with his godfather, especially since the muggle world where no one knew he was famous.
