Chapter 2: Confrontation

After two months and 1 hour before the start of the war between heroes and villains, Garaki asks the young man whom he decided to name Shadow how he feels after a last training session.

Garaki: I guess you're fine, right, Shadow?

Shadow: That's right, sir.

Garaki: In case of discomfort, I need you to prepare for battle, but not before wearing your suit and mask.

Shadow: Yes, sir.

Garaki: Remember that you are my bodyguard and servant, so you must obey my orders.

Shadow: Yes, sir.

Garaki: Well, go out into town and see that nothing suspicious is happening.

Shadow: Yes, sir.

Garaki: Be very careful because today is your first day.

Shadow's suit was composed of dark armbands and grebes that had spheres in the center that indicated whether the wearer was using his power or not. Also a black mask with lenses to prevent his face from being discovered and a breastplate with black and lead shoulder pads with an X-shaped symbol in the center that has the same functionality as the bracelets and grebas. The last thing in her suit was a black hooded scarf that gave her a more sinister look.

In the middle of the city, Shadow who would be somewhere was dedicated to the surveillance of some hero to attack him to the death with his powerful quirk. This quirk was a variant of the One For All, which turned out to be very powerful. Every time Shadow activated his power, he obtained a sharp knife of dark green energy that grew on each forearm and anterior leg, but in case of not using them, the armbands and grebas contained the knives, also passed rays of energy of the same color through his body and even had the ability to fly. It was all thanks to the blood sample obtained from Izuku Midoriya.

Shadow used both his flight and his speed in search of heroes in other parts of the city. On his way to find battles to the death, he finds some young students in preparation to be heroes. Shadow does not miss the opportunity to confront them and lands in front of them.

Shadow: Hello, heroes.

Midoriya: You... are you a villain?

Shadow: You got it right, hero.

Todoroki: It is clear that you have come to fight.

Shadow: What else would I come to?

Iida: Damn! We were just going to evacuate the civilians! "Mentally speaking"

Koda: We must warn the...

Shadow activates his quirk and hits Koda in one fell swoop defeating him which surprises the young heroes a lot.

Shadow: Weak! "Grabbing Koda's neck"

Tsuyu: Stop! "Using his long tongue to catch Shadow"

Shadow: "Stop Tsuyu's attack with your hand easily"

Tsuyu: "Pain"

Shadow: What did you try, frog girl? "Pull Tsuyu's tongue and grab the young woman by the neck"

Midoriya: Enough!

Shadow: As you like. "Throw the young to the ground"

Midoriya: Who are you? "Annoying"

Shadow: The strongest young heroes can face me if they want, as I don't want to fight worms.

Midoriya: That doesn't answer my...

Bakugo: Don't underestimate me, damn! "Angry"

Bakugo attacks Shadow with his explosions, but it costs him nothing to dodge them and manages to kick him which sends Bakugo flying against a wall of a building. Then, he grabs Midoriya by the neck and takes him with him where Bakugo is so that they have a battle. Then, the young heroes are amazed by the power of the young villain.

Midoriya activates the One For All at 15% and attacks Shadow, and starts asking him a few questions as they fight.

Shadow: You don't fight badly.

Midoriya: Who are you?

Shadow: My name is Shadow, and I am a villain allied to the Paranormal Liberation Front.

Midoriya: Tell me your real name!

Shadow: Wait, my... name...?

At that precise moment, Shadow's head begins to spin and Bakugo returns to attack the young villain.

Bakugo: Damn!

Midoriya: What's wrong with you?

Bakugo: What does it matter? Let's attack it!

Shadow: Now. Let's get started, heroes. "Moving your head and reacting"

Midoriya: The power he possesses is very similar to One For All, but why? "Mentally speaking"

In the place where Shadow lands to attack the young heroes, they are surprised by Shadow's power.

Iida: We have to help Tsuyu and Koda.

Uraraka: Are you both okay?

Tsuyu: My neck and tongue hurt, but I think I'll be fine.

Koda: Careless, I'm fine too, but it hurts a lot.

Todoroki: We have to go help Midoriya and Bakugou.

Iida: Our task is to evacuate the civilians, Todoroki.

Uraraka: We must contact the heroes to help Deku and Bakugo.

Todoriki: Hell! Okay!

Uraraka: This worries me more and more.

Tsuyu: We must have confidence in the heroes so that all this goes well.

Koda: Hey, I don't know about you, but the villain we just saw didn't have the same voice as Midoriya's?

Uraraka: Now that you say it, you're right.

Iida: Who can he be?

Uraraka: I don't know.

Iida: Anyway, our duty is to evacuate civilians.

On the battlefield, Midoriya and Bakugo are still fighting Shadow. The young villain uses his speed and energy knives to try to cut them both, but failed to cut walls of buildings, but, even so, he smiles.

Bakugo: Damn! It was close.

Shadow: Look at the cuts in the buildings, naïve.

Midoriya: What? Kacchan! Beware!

Bakugo: What?

The cuts in the buildings caused explosions that caused Midoriya and Bakugou to be affected.

Shadow: Well, that didn't last long. I'm getting away from here.

Midoriya: Not so fast!

Shadow: But what a surprise, you're still alive.

Bakugo: Me too.

Shadow: Miserable, let's see what do you think of this?

In Shadow's hands, balls of dark energy were created that began to shoot at the young heroes, but they dodge them.

Midoriya: There is no doubt: it is strong. "Dodging"

Bakugou: Don't say what is already evident, nerd! "Dodging"

Shadow: I won't let them escape. "Shooting young people"

Notes:

• To better understand the appearance and at the same time also the position of the knives in Shadow's arms, I recommend seeing the arms in the final form of the Cooler character from Dragon Ball Z.

• Differences between Shadow and Cooler (Final Form):

- The knives in Cooler's arms are very thick and are not a means of defense, instead Shadow, has his thin, sharp knives made of energy that serve for combat.

Unlike Cooler, Shadow has a knife on the lower part of each leg under the same appearance of the knives of the forearms.
