Ruby Rose didn't know what to do. It was only recently that she saw her friend Jaune Arc take off the face mask of one of the vigilantes that have been on the news lately. Ruby wondered how that was possible in the first place as the mask looks so real that it could be mistaken for a real person's face! But that wasn't possible...was it?

Ruby felt so confused as she wondered if she may of imagined it, but how will that explain the caveman and the giant reptile like thing? Ruby felt so confused as first her sister was eliminated from the tournament because she attacked some guy from Haven, and now this!

"Jaune!"said Ruby, seeing Jaune selling comic books at the fairgrounds.

"Oh, hey Ruby."said Jaune, upon noticing his best customer.

Ruby quickly looked around and then as soon as she saw that the coast was clear she pulled them into a nearby alley so they could talk.

"Woah, what the heck?"asked Jaune, wondering why Ruby pulled him into an alley all of a sudden.

"Jaune, I saw you yesterday taking off that mask of that vigilante guy."said Ruby, deciding to get straight to the point.

Jaune froze up for a moment before letting out a sigh of frustration, as he couldn't believe he was that careless to have removed his mask where someone could have seen him.

"Ruby, don't you know how crazy that sounds. I mean I'm just a pathetically weak guy who recently lost his business, how could I have been a vigilante?"asked Jaune, deciding to play dumb and hoped that would work.

"I know what I saw!"shattered Ruby as she started stomping on the ground, as she hated when people play dumb so obviously.

"Okay, okay, eash, calm down."said Jaune, not used to tantrums like that except from his sisters.

"Now tell me what's going on!"demanded Ruby as she placed her fist on her hips.

"You wouldn't believe me anyway."said Jaune, trying his best to get away from Ruby.

"No! Your not leaving or I'm going to shout to everyone that you're one of the vigilantes!"threaten Ruby, who wasn't afraid of going around and spreading the word.

"Okay, Okay! I'll tell you!"said Jaune, who just wanted Ruby to take it easy.

"So...who exactly are you?"asked Ruby.

"I'm just a normal guy who couldn't get into Beacon. I thought all hope was lost until I ran into a guy who was actual magic."said Jaune, deciding to tell Ruby the truth, otherwise she would spill his secret.

"But magic isn't real."said Ruby.

"That's what I thought until I ran into this guy known as Chris. He gave me magical costumes that give me the powers of other people just by putting them on. It's like I'm piloting a rubber robot."said Jaune, as the costume process was more complicated than that but he figured Ruby wouldn't understand or would be freaked out by the thought of one's skin and flesh becoming one with the costume temporarily.

"So then, all those vigilantes that have appearing are you?"asked Ruby, as that would explain why none of the vigilantes have been caught despite so many of them appearing.

Because they were all the same person!

"Yes! I was Hammerhead thst day at From Dust Till Dawn. I was also the Predator when I saved you from those bullies."said Jaune, as Ruby was sure now that he was telling the truth as only a handful of people knew about that.

"You were also the Joker, the clown guy who freaked me out but then hanged up team CRDL, leaving them in their underwear so people could throw pies at them."said Ruby, causing Jaune to chuckle.

"Yeah, I figured those bullies needed to be taught a lesson they would never forget."said Jaune, who didn't feel guilty as those jerks got what they deserved.

"So, all those actions were the work of one person... no wonder they seem so coordinated."said Ruby, as everything now was starting to make sense.

"Yeah, and I need you to keep your voice down as I don't want anyone to know that all the vigilantes were one guy who at one point owned a comic and weapon shop."said Jaune, who believed that Ruby would never be believed.

"And why are you telling me this?"asked Ruby.

"Because do you think anyone out there is going to believe you in a million years that all the vigilantes were one guy."said Jaune bluntly.

"Touche."said Ruby, knowing she would sound crazy if she told anyone that.

"So, I'm glad I managed to explain everything to you so I'll just be going...and you're dragging me somewhere."said Jaune, as Ruby began dragging him somewhere.

"Sorry, but I need your help to clear my sister's name as something fishy is going on with her disqualification from the tournament. I don't know what it is but something tells me she's been framed."said Ruby, knowing that her sister was innocent.

"And what do you want me to do?"asked Jaune, wondering what Ruby wanted him to do.

"Don't you have a master detective in those costumes of yours that could help you find out who is framing my sister."said Ruby, as Jaune didn't know exactly as he never checked.

"I'll have to check."said Jaune, prying his arm away from Ruby."But I can't exactly do that without a costume on hand."

"Oh yeah."said Ruby, realizing at the moment that Jaune was just Jaune.

He didn't appear to have a costume on him.

"Well...I have inherited some of the tricks from the costumes I've worn so maybe if you tell me what's going on I can help you."said Jaune, hoping an explanation will help him figure out what is going on.

"Well, you see my sister is accused of attacking this guy named Mercury without provocation during the tournament and now she's disqualified. She broke his leg and she swears that she saw him attack her first but no one is backing her up as video shows she was the one who attacked first."said Ruby carefully so that her friend wouldn't miss a beat.

"Hmm... this sounds like what my guy Mysterio can do by making people see things that are not really there. This it's just my theory but, are you sure your sister wasn't hallucinating something that wasn't there by someone who had the ability to make them see what's not there."said Jaune, knowing that it was definitely possible as semblances where as diverse as powers.

"Hmm...but then, who hypnotized my sister?"asked Ruby, looking at her friend suspiciously.

"Hey, I haven't used the Mysterio costume in weeks so you're looking up the wrong tree."said Jaune, offended at Ruby would even suspect him of doing something like that.

"Sorry, I just have to be sure..."said Ruby as she apologized.

"But it's suspicious that this happened to this guy Mercury, are you sure that he's not involved?"asked Jaune, as Ruby looked at him with a curious look.

"What do you mean?"asked Ruby.

"Let let me check on something and I'll get back to you."said Jaune, as he ran from the fairgrounds as fast as he could.

[Vale General Hospital]

"Excuse me, I'm here to see Mercury Black."said Jaune, waiting at the front desk of the hospital in Vale.

"I'm sorry but no patient under that name is here at this time."said the front desk nurse.

"...Thank you..."said Jaune, quickly running out of the hospital to head to the docs as fast as he could, all the while pulling out his scroll to call Ruby.

"What happened?"asked Ruby from the other end.

"Mercury was never checked into the hospital in I doubt that the nurse's office can treat a broken leg, even with aura. Something fishy is going on Ruby and I suggest you keep an eye on the Colosseum, as I have a feeling something big is about to go down."said Jaune, running to the room full of costumes as fast as he could.

Jaune quickly put on one of the costumes which consisted of a rock man wearing what look like Eastern Atlas gear, from before the Great war

"Jaune, let me introduce you to Korg. This stone man was once a gladiator on a hostile planet until he escaped from said planet and joined up with a Great hero to fight against the forces of evil! Don't underestimate this rock giant as he's extremely tough and able to take quite a beating!"said Jaune, as he read the note out loud while he was putting on the Korg costume.

"Okay, this guy may be made of stone but he is quite nimble."said Korg, as he decided to head back to the Amity Colosseum as fast as he could as he had a feeling things were about to go down!

Meanwhile Ruby was sitting down at the colosseum, waiting for the next match before she noticed Emerald, one of Mercury's teammates sitting not too far away from where she was.

"Emerald..."said Ruby suspiciously, as she thought Emerald was with Mercury and the rest of her team.

But then she remembered that Mercury was never checked into the hospital so she decided to go through the back end to meet up with Emerald and see what was going on, that is when she spotted Mercury Black, walking on both legs like nothing had ever happened.

"Mercury...?"said Ruby with suspicion, wondering how he was walking when he should have had a broken leg.

That is when she heard through the announcements that Pyrrha Nikos and Peny Polendina were going to be fighting each other in the upcoming match.

"Noooo..."said Ruby, as it didn't take a genius to realize that the match was rigged!

"Oh, polarity vs metal...not a great combination."said Mercury arrogantly, as Ruby tried to reach for her weapon, only to remember she left it back in her locker.

Mercury meanwhile smiled as he ran towards Ruby and it was about to strike her with his gun boots before she was blocked by Korg!

"What the?"asked Mercury before he was struck across the head by Korg's mace!

"Sorry I'm late! I had a hard time getting past security as a stone man!"said Korg, as he walked towards Mercury and easily overtowered him.

"You want to go, big guy! Then let's dance!"shouting Mercury as he jumped into the air and fired his gun boots at the Stone Giant!

Korg was struck in the chest and a bit of rock fell off his body as he grabbed Mercury by his foot and slammed him into a nearby wall!

"Sorry, but I'm a lot sturdier than that."said Korg, as he lifted Mercury up and slammed him into the ground.

"Your voice does not match your body!"said Mercury as he got out of Korg's grip and fired several more dust rounds at the Stone Giant!

Korg was pushed by what he charged in and head-butted Mercury in the chest, knocking the would be assassin back! Korg then followed up with a punch but Mercury easily dodged it as he lifted his foot up as high Korg point black in the face with his gun boot!

Korg fell back as he fired several blasts of energy from his mace. But Mercury jumped out of the way to avoid them as he used the nearby wall to launch himself up into the air as he decided to strike the Stone Giant with an ax kick!

Korg meanwhile took a step back to avoid the kick before punching mercury in the gut as soon as he landed! Korg then grab Mercury's pants and rip them off, revealing that he had prosthetic legs.

"Well that explains how you're up and about despite the fact you had a "broken leg."said Korg, grabbing Mercury by his shirt and head butting him in the head, knocking the assassin out as he ran out of Aura and passed out.

"Woah!"said Ruby, as she was amazed by how the fight turned out.

"We have to get going as there's still one more person to deal with."said Korg, as Ruby followed him to where Emerald was.

Emerald meanwhile was using her power to make Pyrrha see something that wasn't there. Pyrrha was about to use her polarity when Korg grabbed Emerald and threw her into the arena, breaking her focus and allowing the invincible champion to see what was really going on.

"What? Where are all the swords?"Pyrrha asked herself.

"There was never a massive wall of swords. You were just seeing things because of this one!"said Korg, as he picked up Emerald and held her and Mercury for the audience to see!

"I doubt very much that this young man has a broken leg!"said Korg, as the audience noticed that he had prosthetic legs.

Soon shouts came from the audience as they demanded to know what was going on! They wanted an explanation just as general Ironwood and some of his soldiers went to the arena!

"What is the meaning of this?!"asked General Ironwood, as his soldiers surrounded Korg.

"I think these two have it in cahoots with Roman and are planning to destroy Vale."said Korg, tossing Mercury and Emerald over to the general.

"Arrest these two until we have a better explanation."said Ironwood, knowing that something fishy was going on and he was going to get to the bottom of it.

"Your too late!"said Mercury as he woke up.

"What do you mean?"asked General Ironwood.

"By now the White Fang is already in your airspace with the Grimm and soon chaos will rain throughout the kingdom."said Mercury arrogantly, just as reports of White Fang piloted warships were coming into Vale airspace.

"What is this?"asked the General.

"It's an attack!"said Korg, knowing he needed the access of his other costumes in order to save the day as this was too big even for one hero!

"Wait!"shouted Ironwood.

"Let him go, we have other matters to attend to."said Ozpin, as he could feel someone was coming, someone he never wanted to see again."She is coming..."

Ironwood immediately knew what this meant and within a few seconds he began ordering his men to get to their battle stations as a battle was going to be on their hands, and they would be lucky to come out of it with minor injuries!

Jaune mean was making his way back to the warehouse as fast as he could as he took off the Korg costume and threw it to the ground as he looked at his other costumes.

"Chris!"shouted Jaune, as Chris appeared in front of him within seconds.

"What's up?"asked Chris.

"I need a super powerful costume ASAP!"said Jaune, knowing that he had to do something in order to save Vale.

"Well...we could use that one, but it's too dangerous as they put serious strain on the body."said Chris, as Jaune grabbed Chris by his hoodie.

"Show me!"said Jaune, as Chris snapped his fingers in a costume appeared in front of Jaune.

"Saw hello to the Battle Beast."said Chris, as Jaune looked over the costume and saw it was some kind of white lion humanoid.

"This warrior is one of the toughest fighters in his world! Jaune, I have to warn you it was not easy making this costume and anyone who wears it suffer serious strain on their body as it's really powerful. I'm telling you, this thing can go to toe with some of the toughest customers and not even feel tired! But using a cause permanent damage to your body, especially considering what you're about to do."said Chris, knowing that Jaune was planning to use multiple costumes at once.

"I have no choice, Vale is in danger! And I need to protect this Kingdom!"said Jaune as he begins to put on the Battle Beast costume!

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"shouted Jaune, as he soon began feeling the strain his body felt as his human body became one with the Battle Beast!

"Hahhh... I feel so powerful!"said Battle Beast, as tremor could be felt in soon the sounds of a Grimm waiver could be heard!.

"Anything for that?"asked Battle Beast.

"Um...give me a moment."said Chris, as he began using his powers to seem up a costume.

"Whatever! For now I need to activate the other costumes!"said Battle Beast, as he began focusing his consciousness on the costumes that were on the costume rack and soon all of them began moving and coming to life as Jaune felt his mind being split apart one by one.

Battle Beast soon fall to the floor as he felt serious strain on his body as he felt like at any moment he was going to go into shock!

"Are you okay?"asked Chris, hoping that his champion was all right.

"I'm okay... I just need a moment to rest."said Battle Beast, as the rest of his consciousness and the different costumes looked at him.

"What are you waiting for? Go!"shouted the Battle Beast, knowing that these heroes need to save Vale.

Soon, one by one the costumes began venturing out, heading to different parts of the city as they began to rescue people in need.

Hammerhead intercepted a group of White Fang attacking a school! Predator stood in front of a horde of Beowolves, pulling out his spear as he let out a mighty roar and charged at them!

A mother was about to be executed alongside her son when Hit Monkey not the way the White Fang Soldier and soon pulled out two Uzi machine guns and began taking on the White Fang!

Elswhere, Ryuma got in between a bunch of hijacked Atlas paladins, and soon began cutting them apart before they could hurt anyone!

All across Vale, the citizens could see the heroes that had been protecting the streets over the last several months appearing out of the woodworks to save them from their most dire moment!

Peacemaker was evacuating citizens, as King Shark was ripping apart a herd of Ursa!

"Come on! Get to the Bullheads!"shouted Bloodsport as he, Death Dealer, and Spear were evacuating citizens to the Bullhead bays.

Elsewhwre, Adam Taurus, the leader of the Vale branch of the White Fang was attacking his former lover Blake Belladonna, he was about to strike her again when his blade was interested by another sword.

"Kapapapapapa! I'm afraid that's as far as you go."said Kawamatsu, revealing that he was the one who stopped the blade.

"A shame I have to kill another traitor."said Adam, before he pulled out wilk and brush and soon charged at Kawamatsu.

Kawamatsu intercepted wilk with sotomuso, both blades causing a shock wave that knocked Blake back as soon as they intercepted one another!

Adam, frustrated that his Moon slice was easily intercepted pointed brush at Kawamatsu, firing around point black at the fishman! Kawamatsu took the blast and suffered some damage but he soon pushed Adam back!

Soon Adam and Kawamatsu begin attacking each other with multiple sword slashes and strikes at one another, Adam charging up his Moon slice again as his sword just needed to take more damage before he could activate its Moon slice!

"Take this!"said Adam, preparing to use Moon slice.

"River of retribution!"shouted Kawama, as both River of retribution and moon slice struck one another!

This created a shockwave so powerful that it sent all warriors back! Kawamatsu was the first one to secure his footing and soon began charging at Adam! Adam on the other hand just barely got his feet on the ground and charge back at Kawamatsu!

Both swordsman struck each other with their blades, neither moving an inch as anyone who was watching wondered who had won!

Kawamatsu coughed up some blood as he fell on one leg, Adam meanwhile collapse to the ground as his sword was sliced in half.

"You bastard..."said Adam, before passing out.

"Kapapapapapa! That is what you get for messing with a Kappa!"said Kawamatsu, as Yang and Blake helped him up to his feet.

"Thank you for saving my partner."said Yang, who had arrived just in time to see everything go down.

"No problem, as a hero it's my duty to protect those in danger."said Kawamatsu humbly.

Meanwhile, Pyrrha was standing in front of Salem and Cinder. Salem was holding Ozpin close to the edge by his throat.

"How does it feel knowing that you failed."said Salem, as Ozpin tried to say something but she squeezed his neck tighter.

"Do you believe in destiny!"said Pyrrha, deciding track defiantly and her own final moments.

"Yes!"said Cinder, preparing to finish her off when Battle Beast came in by riding one the defeated Grimm wyvern.

"Let them go!"said Battle Beast, growling at both Cinder and Salem

"Die!"said Cinder, firing a flame arrow at Battle Beast, but to her surprise it barely pierced his tough hide.

Battle Beast didn't even flinch as he walked towards Cinder and Salem slowly and calmly as he held his mace in his left hand.

"Die!"said Cinder, before she was knocked away by Battle Beast like she was an insignificant little fly.

"I see we have someone here who can actually fight."said Salem, firing her magic at Battle Beast which seem to put him back!

"Not enough!"said Battle Beast, letting out a mighty growl as he charged that Salem and knocked her off of the ledge, while at the same time throwing Ozpin to safety.

Salem meanwhile form grim wings and flew into the air as she grabbed Battle Beast by the neck and threw him into a nearby building with such force that the building shattered. She then charged up her magic and shot blast of energy at the building, creating a giant explosion.

Battle Beast jumped out of the explosion and hit Salem across the face with his mace, causing some damage as Salem punched him across the face, making the warrior bleed!

Battle Beast and Salem then began striking at each other again and again, hitting each other with everything they had as they fought across the streets of Vale! All across the kingdom they saw Battle Beast taking on this which with everything it had, using brute string too push through her magic!

"I see you're a real warrior."said Salem, as most people wouldn't have been able to take the amount of punishment she was giving to Battle Beast!

"But don't think that you have won!"said Salem, summoning a hoard of Grimm to surround Battle Beast.

Battle Beast look like he was about to be consumed before he knocked them away with his great strength!

"Ahhh!"shouted Battle Beast as he could still feel the strain in his body start to take effect!

"I see all that power is putting you in serious risk! I wonder if that Spirit told you everything."said Salem, as Chris appeared between her and Battle Beast.

"Been a while, you used to be a lot prettier before the makeover."said Chris.

"I should have known you've been behind this, spirit! After all who else would mess with mortals like it was his own little game."said Salem.

"I'm not the young celestial spirit I used to be. I have decided to help mortals and it's quicker than me that you have long outlived what is considered normal!"

"That is all I want! To be free from the powers of people like you! You and those arrogant Brothers cursed me with this unbearable curse and I just wanted to end!"said Salem with rage as she fired a blast of magic at Chris, damaging him.

"Chris!"said Battle Beast, running over to his friend.

"Jaune, I'll distract her while you put on this costume. It will give you the edge you need but a price."said Chris, making a costume appear as he flew at Salem and knocked her into a nearby building.

Battle Beast meanwhile took office costume and began putting on the new one!

"Enough! None of you can stop me!"said Salem, before she was struck down by someone with a lot of strength.

"What the?"asked Salem, before looking up to see a buff humanoid alien surrounded by purple aura.

"Say hello to God of destruction Toppo!"said Chris as he held his arm.

Salem looked at the being in front of her and didn't appear amuse that she tried to hit him! Only for Toppo to get out of the way and point his fingers at her.

"Jautice Flash!"said Toppo, as he fired a barrage of Ki blasts at Salem, knocking her back as for the first time in a long time she felt actual pain.

Toppo meanwhile. right in front of her and grabbed her by her head as he threw her through a set of buildings before grabbing her on the other side and slamming her hard into the ground that it created a mini earthquake!

"I think you have done enough damage for one millennia! Hakai!"said Toppo, creating a blast of destructive energy.

As Salem was struck she could feel her immortal body being destroyed!

"Thank you."said Salem as she was completely destroyed by the destructive blast.

Toppo meanwhile felt serious straining his body as he collapsed to the ground. Chris quickly ran over and remove the costume.

"You did it buddy, you saved Vale."said Chris, as Jaune smiled as although his entire body hurt, at least the knowledge of so many people being safe made it feel better.

Not long after the battle of the vigilantes all disappeared, and many to stay wondered where they headed off to as they were never seen again!

Grimm activity began to fall to an all-time low as soon the creatures became what would be considered an endangered species as they kept disappearing until one day no one saw another one again!

Ozpin knew that this was because Salem had been ultimately defeated. And because she was defeated his oathless fulfilled and he was allowed to pass on to the afterlife...

Jaune, the hero of the story lost one of his legs in exchange for using the power of God of destruction, Toppo and Battle Beast. He also lost sight in his left eye, now only being able to see out of his right eye...

He literally lost one leg and eye, and now he's being taken care of by his girlfriend turned fiance, Pyrrha Nikos, as the two decided to become something serious after coming forward with each other's feelings.

Chris decided to leave Remnant and head to parts unknown, knowing that everyone who was involved with the destruction of Vale was either dead or in jail...

He knew that Remnant might need help one day.

So, in preparation for that. He left a little something for Jaune in case the day was needed when he needed to put on a costume again and become the hero the world needed.

But for now, everything was peaceful and that's all that mattered!

Decided to finish this before I completely burned out as I was getting bored with this story. I hope all of you enjoyed it and if we're lucky there may be a sequel or another version in the future.
