Chapter 818 Out in the field

I don't own Bleach or any of the powers and gear used in this story.

Walking down the streets of Soul Society was Horatio Cain who's now wearing a modified versions of a Shinigami clothes with the pants and shoes being his normal ones and he still wears his sunglasses with a zanpakuto on his waist.

"It's been some time since I joined this group." Horatio said.

He was in the seventh Division and it was a interesting group, he was better off with them since the captain had more honor compared to some of the others.

He knew he couldn't much being dead so becoming a Shinigami was better for him and he did pass they're academy with ease.

He made his own force among the Division to have justice be served and not let people be framed or the criminals escape, Komamura made sure after what happened with Tosen so Horatio had control over that.

He then saw a guy running away through a alley covered in blood.

"Hey!" Horatio chases after him.

The guy looks back to reveal he has a heard and messy hair before he took out a sword slashing at a gate to pass, he then escapes the city but Horatio appears in front of him.

"I remember you." Horatio said.

"You... Your that bastard that ruined me." He said.

"You killed a life and tried to blame a innocent man for your own mistakes." Horatio said with his hands inside his pockets.

It was the same man he sent away to jail when he first arrived at the Soul Society and he tried it again.

"It was so simple back then, but now you ruined my life!" The man said.

"No, you did that." Horatio said.

The guy got mad and takes out his sword that makes him grow bulky.

"You stole that sword." Horatio said. "That will kill you."

"I don't care, I will grow stronger and defeat you!" He said.

Horatio takes out the sword. "Out in the field, Jurisdiction." It then changes to a copy of his old pistol but with a silver pattern and CSI symbol on the side on gold.

"Ha, that puny thing!" The guy micks it. "My sword can make many slashes in a few seconds, destroy entire mountains, how can you-" He then got shot through the head killing him instantly.

"Looks like I only need one shot." Horatio smirks.

His weapon has a few abilities like the first is to be able to shoot through most things and give him a better shot.

Many Shinigami got surprised with the newest members having guns as they're Zanpakutos but Horatio was just fine with his, he doesn't care about what they think since he's not much of a sword guy, he's a cop and detective so him having a gun as a Shikai fits him quite well like how Howard has a machine gun.

Horatio sees Iba coma foward. "Horatio!"

"It seems he came back for revenge." Horatio said.

"Yes, he did curse your name many times, we just didn't expect for him to go through his threat." Iba said.

"Well better tall the captain Yamamoto." Horatio said.

"Yes." Iba nodded. "He would be needed to be inform of this."

Later

The duo arrived in front of Yamamoto and explained to him what happened.

"I see, well you did a good job Caine." Yamamoto said.

"Thank you." Horatio smiles.

"You may both leave now." Yamamoto said.

The duo left and Horatio said: "I was thinking checking the prisons to see if it's safe after what happened."

"Good idea." Iba said.

The duo went to the prison and saw many people inside each of the cells and they jsut either scream or sit on the beds.

"Same old no matter the world." Horatio said.

They then saw someone looking down at the door while sitting on the bed.

"He's been here for a long time." Iba said. "He managed to escape execution thanks to Team Light's influence in letting him live."

"I see." Horatio said.

He knows Team Light is the team where his own grandson is working with, it makes him wonder how good he has gotten.

Horatio looks back inside the cell. "Well he seems to regret what he did."

Inside was Tosen looking down, he was wearing the prisoner uniform with his hair hanging down.

He's been there ever since he was defeated a long time ago, Yui helped him avoid being executed and he just spent his time there for a long time.

The duo went away and Tosen said: "I sacrificed so much... And what did it bring me."

Tosen looks outside the window to see many birds flying by.

"The only thing I have is my vision, but what does that matter if I broke my bond with the people that cared about me, Sajin and Hisagi still cared but I don't think I can gain they're trust after what I did. I was a fool for joining Aizen for revenge, now i'm alone." Tosen then thinks to himself.

He wonders what the life he could have had if he just stayed in the Soul Society instead of betraying it, he would still be with his friends and allies.

"Maybe I do deserve this, but all I could ever wish is for a second chance." Tosen said.

Note: Horatio showed off his zanpakuto but he only used the Shikai because he likes using guns better, Tosen also made a appearance.

Team Light encyclopedia

Gin was at the classroom. "Today we're talking about Leadale."

He shows a image of the world. "The world of Leadale was once a video game before it got shut down because of a... Terrible accident that caused it to drop, now it became a real world with the NPCs into real people. Even the players that were still playing got sent there and are now inside the bodies of they're avatars with some being lucky."

Cayna appeared. "Are you talking about me?!"

"Well you did die, so yes." Gin said.

"Well how is my life better?" She asked.

"Well you are getting married soon." He said making Cayna blush.
