"Oi, Kenshin. Have you any idea where Jou-chan went?" Sano leant against the shouji outside Kenshin's room.
"Iie. Kaoru-dono mentioned that she might be going to the dojo on the outskirts of the neighbouring
town, however," Kenshin's muffled voice came from the other side of the shouji.
Sanosuke sighed. Late lessons again? he grumbled mentally. Now, he wouldn't get any dinner.
And it was only an hour to dinner too.

"Kenshin! Tori Atama! I can't find busu at the Yamamoto dojo!"
Yahiko's panicked voice rang throughout the Kamiya dojo.
"Nani??!!" Sanosuke glanced sharply at the young samurai.
"NANI?!" a louder shriek came from behind them. The pair winced. Kenshin could have a loud voice when he wanted.
Kenshin appeared in front of them. A golden rim was surrounding the violet orbs.
"She isn't at the Yamamoto dojo?" he asked.
Two nervous nods confirmed his query. Without further question, he grabbed the both of them
and started running towards the Yamamoto dojo.

A group of teens walked along the corridor of a shopping mall in Singapore known as Junction 8.
"You know, we should go out like this more often!" Lena smiled at the three boys behind her and her best friend, Valen.
The boys sighed.
"Definitely no!" they chorused.
Valen giggled. "You know, gentlemen should help ladies carry things."she reprimanded them,
eliciting more groans from them.
"Geez, Lena. You don't have to go on an anime-buying spree!" One of the boys, Bryan complained.
(Note: Unfortunately, Junction 8 does not sell that much anime. I'm just using that
as an excuse so i can write my fic.)
" I have to! Those CDs and merchandise were on sale!" Lena squealed.
The rest of the group groaned. Suddenly, a whirl of flame or at least it seemed to be, flung itself at Lena.
"Kaoru-dono!" it shouted.
Lena froze.
"Jou-chan!"
"Busu!"
A tall gangly man and a ten-year-old child grinned at her.
"What the-" Valen began.
