Cobalt Blue Eyes
Disclaimer: No I don't own GW. I probably couldn't even afford Hee-chan. Don't sue. I am just a writer.
Warnings: Fluff. Serious fluff and sap. 1+R. Starts off in the scene when Herro first tries to kill Releana. The last scene is at the end of Endless Waltz. R&R please. And I don't care if you flame, I'll just have myself a nice little camp fire and smores.
Herro raised the gun as Releana curtsied. Releana raised her head and looked deep into his eyes. She was surprised, no shocked by what she saw. There was innocence in those cobalt blue eyes, a sense of purity, even some compassion. And yet there was pain, a tiredness she could not place. And she realized she was really frightened of him. But like a person around an injured animal she did not show it, or she would be bitten.

Days later what she had seen in his eyes still haunted her. She would wake late in the night with nightmares she could not remember and then not be able to fall asleep again. She kept on wondering what it was that had actually frightened her. Was it the tiredness? No. The compassion? Maybe. Was it the innocence, the purity? Yes that was it. But why? She smiled grimly and thought, it's because after all the killing, all the horrible things he has done it has only been able to affect his outer shell, turning what he shows to the world into a cold heartless person. This was almost too horrible of a reality to face. "How could anyone retain purity after all of that?" she said to herself. Then after another bad dream one night she found her answer. He had put up a wall around his heart to keep emotions both in and out. Just like the one she put around hers to not let her fear of him show.

Marty Maya and her ideals had been stopped. Herro slowly walked over to Releana and crumbled into her arms. His wall came crashing down, and as his did so did hers. Healing could begin. And when she looked into those cobalt blue eyes she saw everything that she had seen before shine brightly through, no longer suppressed. And she no longer feared him, she could only love him and those cobalt blue eyes.
The end. Short but sweet, huh? R&R ok? Ja ne!
